Booked via WhatsApp. Reply came back quickly next day, all booked. Arrived on busy Saturday, greeted immediately and taken to table. Cafe is series of rooms and outside area open in summer, we were seated in room at rear with view of garden. Like being in lovely dining room in someone’s house. Throughout service was first class. We have breakfast, served until 1130. Sausage sandwich on really fresh granary bread. Just lovely. We will return, the highest was the service. Just how it should be.

Fab coffee, tea and cake, thought it was closed at first and could do with a sign at the bottom of the road. Fab hidden gem, enjoyed the chucks visiting and the black and white cat proudly displaying his/her latest kill? Great place to sit out and enjoy the rare sunshine and tranquility of the nearby church.

Tasty sausage sandwich and a lovely cheese and onion toastie using delicious fresh ingredients. Served up with a friendly face and a dose of good old fashioned hospitality

Open Sunday which is great. Small inside but quirky with food served on proper vintage plates. Waffles are £6.95. Very nice. Good service. Can’t complain.

The cafe had just closed and they were cleaning up when we got there. But they found time to make us some sandwiches, coffee and some apple pie and custard to follow . Food was really nice. Service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. We will be back whilst they're open .........

A bit disappointed really, been a few times before and always good. Tonight brought some friends to enjoy, but food was very disappointing. Welsh rarebit was soggy wet bread with hardly any cheese and not much flavour. When i did say something, nothing was done about it, butter chicken was like a powder gravy, no spice, fish burger with mushy peas doesn't work together, peas make bun soggy, keep separate. The standards were not as expected. We always end up with table by toilets, not ideal

Wow. Popped into here on a Thursday night on my own, super cheery and polite. Walked up the bar with my wallet open ready to buy a pint and the old fella behind the bar gives me a smile. Before buying my pint I said: "Hello mate! I've parked my van in the little car park over the road, do you think I'll be alright for the night?" His face turns from ruddy friendliness to the suppresed rage of the Shropshire elderly gentleman. "You're not sleeping there?". "I was thinking to, yeah". "You're not sleeping there, no." "Oh OK not to worry I'll move it". I cross the road and jump in my van and drive up the road to park up (totally legally) at the kerbside. At this point the old fella comes out of the pub, red faced with fury. "you're not parking there." "Mate, with respect you don't own this bit of road, if I want to park here I can" "Well you're not coming in my pub". A staggeringly hostile interaction with an unbelievably unpleasant man. Do yourself a favour and spend your money somewhere less disgustingly aggressive.

I booked this for my 50th birthday - firstly because I used to play golf at Church Stretton and so have many fond memories of being there as a kid, and secondly because we'd been there for a tapas evening previously and the food was fantastic. Everything that Rita made for the grazing table/buffet was amazing (especially the home-made scotch eggs). It also looked amazing and the birthday cake was delicious. Ben and his team gave great friendly service from behind the bar and ensured that all of our guests had a great time. There was a large screen TV, so we also managed to have the Word Cup rugby on. Nothing was too much trouble. We hired a local singer, who they managed to make room for in addition to the 75+ guests. Highly recommended as a venue. It was so much cozier/nicer than a village hall, and it was great to have the whole place to ourselves which you don't get at a pub/restaurant. This was in winter and so it was dark outside, but in summer it has lovely views over the town

Five of us booked for a late breakfast. Suffice to say it won’t be the last time. It was really excellent! Efficient, friendly and good humoured service. Absolutely delicious food. Honestly one of the tastiest breakfasts (full English) that I’ve ever had. All 5 of us agreed that we’ll be back as soon as we can be.

Awful place, coming from an ex employee. Certain staff members don’t wash their hands and touch the customers food with dirty hands and thick dirt under their fingernails. I also caught a certain staff member drop food items on the floor but still put them on the tray to cook and serve. These staff members are disgusting! Not to mention their attitude and behaviour. One of them threatened to go to a customers house and smash her face in. The manager didn’t take this seriously and let her get away with it. Days later she proceeded to threaten me and yet again the manager and area managers didn’t do anything about it. The staff in the craven arms greggs are unhygienic and disgustingly rude.
