Booked via WhatsApp. Reply came back quickly next day, all booked. Arrived on busy Saturday, greeted immediately and taken to table. Cafe is series of rooms and outside area open in summer, we were seated in room at rear with view of garden. Like being in lovely dining room in someone’s house. Throughout service was first class. We have breakfast, served until 1130. Sausage sandwich on really fresh granary bread. Just lovely. We will return, the highest was the service. Just how it should be.

We stopped for lunch after an energetic walk. The bakery serves light lunches and the most amazing bread. The charming young lady who served us was a credit to her community: friendly and welcoming. Beautifully crafted furniture and the premises were spotless. The young ladies were singing while they were working, so lovely to hear. We shall return.

Fab coffee, tea and cake, thought it was closed at first and could do with a sign at the bottom of the road. Fab hidden gem, enjoyed the chucks visiting and the black and white cat proudly displaying his/her latest kill? Great place to sit out and enjoy the rare sunshine and tranquility of the nearby church.

What a fantastic Deli. Every dish is mouth-watering. Selection fantastic. Staff never hurry you and have patience to ensure you get just what you want. Service with a smile. The whole experience of shopping there for such fresh delights is a pleasure.. A* Food A*. Staff. Our picnic on Long Mynd a delight. Worth the 70 mile round trip. Fish and chips with a difference… a prime piece of haddock. The crispest batter… the chips are amazing… and oh those crushed peas. Shame it’s only on a Thursday. Wonderful. Thanks to Chef Blaine and th inimitable Michelle front of house.

We visited this beautiful restaurant today, the food , service & atmosphere was top notch friendly customer service too! We had the sweetened mango lassi & the mango passionfruit mojitos 😍 one of the best mojitos I’ve ever had! Will surely visit soon again & recommend to all my fellow family/friends.

Open Sunday which is great. Small inside but quirky with food served on proper vintage plates. Waffles are £6.95. Very nice. Good service. Can’t complain.

A regular watering hole for me and my mate. The welcome and service are always great, as is the food. Would highly, recommend a visit here, to anyone.

10oz Steak came with one onion ring, one mushroom, half tomato and handful of chips £20.50 plate was half empty. Mushroom rissoto consisted of bowl of rissoto rice with three mushrooms on top and bread £15.50 very poor quality and grossly overpriced, mushrooms barely cooked. Very disappointing for an eighty eighth birthday celebration. Have eaten several times in the past and have always been very satisfied, will not bother again.

Amazing restaurant with very big portions! Their fish and chips and mushy peas were super delicious! Absolutely will come back here!

My friend and I visited Heather and Batch today and we had a lovely piece of cake and drink. The staff were genuinely lovely and really helpful.

Not been there before, wanted to go out for dinner so late booking. The food was really good well presented and very tasty, welcome very warm and service excellent. We were very pleased with the experience. I would recommend it to everyone but then getting a booking will become more difficult for us😁
