Whilst staying locally we were recommended to try The Crown Inn. And we were not disappointed. A warm welcome greeted us and we were shown to our table. The food was excellent, so tasty and so well presented. The service was super, friendly and professional. Very highly recommended.

Seemed like a great pub with a buzzing atmosphere, and nice to see space for drinkers and not just all tables, although there was still plenty of space for diners. We visited for Sunday roast, and while service was good and food was nice, the portions were tiny. I had roast chicken and it just didn’t fill me up at all. I would rather pay an extra few quid and have a proper lunch. Sorry, but only 3 star review due to me leaving hungry.

This is a lovely traditional tea room. An old merchant's house repuposed for today. Very traditional food and lovely baked goods. We chose soup (Leek and potato; Marrow and Butterbean) and a hot cheese scone with Shropshire butter. Delightful home-made fare.

We called in to have lunch on our way to Ludlow but all the tables were full so decided on a takeaway. Big mistake. Totally disorganised and very slow service , ‘ served’ by miserable ,bad tempered staff. I am registered disabled and whilst waiting ages to be served, went to the toilet. There were 2 but I was rudely told that I couldn’t use either!!! Then told to go and find the public one which was far too far for me to walk. The cappuccino was boiling hot and blistered the roof of my mouth . The food is ok but we will never go there again for sure.

The cafe is efficiently run and we enjoyed the rooftop seating in the sun today. Unfortunately the scone was stale. Quite a shocker for me! What a shame :(

A warm welcome in this beautiful, cosy pub/restaurant. The food was fantastic, well cooked and of high quality. Plenty of choice from a main menu and superb specials on offer. The staff are friendly and efficient. A well run pub with happy staff. And clearly a very good chef…. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed the evening too being given a warm welcome, plenty of fuss and a bonio! So lovely to be able to take your dog out with you when you go out to dinner. Thank you all at the Ragleth Inn.

Staying local so booked in for Sunday Lunch today. Certainly not disappointed, we had an amazing Sunday roast dinner beef and pork. Really well presented with side dishes of wonderful fresh vegetables, cabbage carrots and beans, you rarely get fresh vegetables now a days. We also had gorgeous Dauphinoise potatoes. We shared a huge Aston Mess their take on Eaton mess, so much fruit and cream yummy. The couple running the pub are so very nice, sad that it was so quiet but guess late in season. We did go back later for their Open Mike evening which was very well attended such a great community atmosphere. We will definitely be back and wish you both good things. P.S. Thank you for finding my bracelet too.
