A good meal with good service and a nice picturesque waterfront view from the balcony.

We had our first dinner there last evening, it was first class, great servers, our food was outstanding, good to see the restaurant off to such a good start..

Cayden was a fantastic server. Portions were fantastic for the price. Really enjoyed the service and view from the porch

I absolutely love this place! For starters the view of the marina and bay are beyond beautiful. Service was amazing as well - everyone is so friendly and helpful. Last the food - it was delicious. We had the mussels appetizer which had the best tasting broth I ever had. For dinner I had the yellowfin tuna which had a thai slant which melted in my mouth. My wife had the Mahi which she was equally impressed with. They also have a great happy hour with good drink prices (especially the martini’s my wife loves) and all these affordable small plates. Highly recommend! Make reservations.

Fresh Catch Bistro was recommended to us by a local. We were able to get an amazing patio reservation the day before. Cadin was our waiter and was excellent at recommending dinner based on what we were looking for! Overall, amazing last meal in Fort Myers Beach!

We were celebrating my birthday and choose Fresh Catch Bistro, the atmosphere was beautiful they sat us by the window overlooking the back bay, our appetizer of oysters Rockefeller was excellent! I ordered grouper pan seared, I was very disappointed in my fish although the portion was large the fish had no flavor the Thai sauce helped a little, the steak fries were a baked potatoe sliced wedges and very hard almost like not cooked enough. They put a flower on the plate but I wasn’t impressed.

This place is beautiful inside and out. The views outside are incredible in the evening. With that being said, not much else stood out. Our server was new and couldn’t give recommendations because they didn’t eat seafood and had only been there 2 weeks. The mussels were the only edible part of the meal. My wife ordered salmon that was bland and we had to send back to be cooked a bit more. It was extremely raw. I ordered the grouper. It was hard and spongy with very little taste. The vegetables were also bland and tasted like they had been heated from frozen. After leaving 75% of our meal uneaten, they asked if we wanted a box and we explained how disappointed we were. Not one mention of a discount or even a discussion with the manager. This was supposed to be out stand out meal of the trip and it was by far the worst. My advice… go to Doc Fords. Same view and much better food for a fraction of the price.

Hands down the worst meal I have had at that price point. The Caesar salad was good. Mussles were mediocre. But my Salmon was served raw and had to be sent back, the grouper was tough and spongy, vegetables were bland and undercooked, my baked potato was hard and dry like it had been made early that morning. We got served bread with our entrees 45 minutes into our visit. The service was ok. When asked if we wanted to box our meals up we expressed that we didn't enjoy or eat almost anything from the grouper meal and nothing was taken care of for us. What a disappointment.

Food is just ok. View and staff were very good. Do not recommend the crab cakes … all filler … little crab. Better off giving you one crab cake with lots of crab less filler than 3 with all filler. Escargot were good. Baked potato was lukewarm and over cooked.

I don't recommend, look somewhere else, very expensive for what you get,orrible

This place was better when it was Bay Front Bistro who got kicked out shortly after IAN, food continues to go down hill, steak was terrible, live close by and food choices are limited but can’t see returning….

I had crab cakes, fried calamari... Both delicious..Drinks were good... I sat @ the bar & the service was excellent!! Happy Hour is great

The new location for Fresh Catch is beautiful. The food however was over cooked, overpriced and felt cheap since it was served with reusable plastic containers. Not worth spending so much money on.

Sit in Maryannes section. She was amazing ! Food was very good would come back again !

We didn’t eat here but felt very judged by the host and the server who was rude to us so we left.

Great evening! Our server, Kate, was sweet and took wonderful care of us. My husband and I were with another couple. We all thought we had the best thing on the menu. I had the Grouper Caprese With risotto-fantastic! My husband had the Miso Teriyaki Sea Bass and loved it. Our friends got the Spiced Pecan and Cranberry Crusted Grouper (amazing!) and a steak-which was wonderful. We would definitely eat here again!!

Jerry gave us a chance to win a free happy hour by answering a trivia question. He gave us 6 guesses since there were 6 of us. We failed but the answer was John Wayne and we had so much fun.

we ate Here our first evening in Bonita Springs. The food is delicious relatively quiet compared to other restaurants. Very nice to sit down at a restaurant that has white table cloths in real silverware. We are going to eat there again tomorrow night.

First time ever here and it was fantastic! It was my husband and I anniversary and they brought out a chocolate piece of cake with Happy Anniversary written on the plate and a lovely anniversary card. Wonderful experience

Outstanding dinner at Fresh Catch Bistro on Ft Myers Beach. Post Hurricane Ian they moved off the beach and down the island to the back bay. Still an excellent venue, great views and atmosphere. Food was outstanding and our service was impeccable. Mary Ann made the entire experience really enjoyable - very knowledgeable on the menu, engaging and welcoming! Highly recommend!

Mary Ann our server was amazing. She made us feel welcome and gave us recommendations on food and desserts. I got the Pecan and Cranberry encrusted grouper and my husband got the Grouper Caprese. Everyone was so hospitable and warm. A definite step up from most restaurants in the area in our experience.

Meh. Trying to be too much. Service slow. Food ok, but not for the price. Only packed because they are the only game in the area.....

The atmosphere and service was lovely but our food was awful. Escargot was lacking in flavor and had an odd spice that was possibly nutmeg which threw off the flavor profile. My mahi mahi was dry and overcooked and paired with undercooked asparagus. My husband’s special of jambalaya was equally overcooked with lobster tail that rivaled a rubber band’s elasticity. Extremely disappointed especially given the price.

Our family celebrated New Years Eve at Fresh Catch Bistro. The new location is very nice and our meal was exceptional. Mary Ann was our server and made sure everything was perfect. She was an expert on the menu and made sure all of our needs were met. Thank you Mary Ann and Fresh Catch for gracefully rebounding from the devastating hurricane. We can’t wait to come back!

Felt very unwelcome when we walked in. One of the servers was very degrading, we wanted to know how long the wait was, and when we decided not to eat we were told “I could tell the responce before you guys said it” just felt like we weren’t welcome because we didn’t “look the part”

Great service from my waiter micheal on Thursday Jan 16th.he was very attentive. Which is appreciated.ordered grilled octopus was delicious .so we're the muscles the bread and dipping oil for the bread .the views are beautiful. The only bad thing is the bar junkaroos below this restaurant is VERY LOUD. it' does not belong here. There a beautiful nice resturant upstairs and a ridiculous loud bar below.not a nice classy bar but a ruckess type drinking place.

Marry Ann is one of the best server's I've had in a long long time. She explained the menu very well any man would be lucky to have her in there life. I hope her husband treats her well cause if not I might have to swoop in. God probably bask's in the glory of making such a wonderful woman. LOVE YOU Mr. Nowlan

Mary ann was an amazing server. I got the lemon drop martini, scallops, & the oysters. Everything came in a timely manner and the service was even better :) Definitely worth it to dine here and great bartenders as well.

Calamari and capri salad were excellent. Key lime pie was ok. Risotto was mushy and tasteless-but it seems like decent risotto is difficult to find. Wait staff was just ok. Nice views though.

visited for christmas eve dinner. only had gulf oysters to offer raw. not much to offer for "fresh catch" menu. outdoor seating was "booked" so the dinner room was pretty empty & dry.

My family had a great dinner tonight at Fresh Catch. Our favorite dish was the tuna, but everything was delicious. The service provided by Mary Ann was outstanding! We will be back soon.

The food, drinks, ambiance, and superb service are all consistently very good here. I've never had a dish or cocktail I didn't enjoy. My absolute favorite is the crispy duck!! I could eat this every day lol!

Erin is the best waitress. Jerry, the manager, it’s very professional, genuinely caring on top of it.

Martinis, specifically the French kiss, were outstanding. 10/10 highly recommend. Atmosphere inside was warm and inviting but the vibe on the patio wasn’t anything special, just plain walls which didn’t complement decor inside. I had grilled octopus but sent back twice bc it was rubbery. For entree, I had the pecan cranberry grouper- unfortunately nothing to write home about. The presentation was ok but taste and flavor lacking. Maybe I was hoping for a bit of crunch or texture to break up the softness of the fish.

We are in town for vacation and had a greet experience. Mary Ann was our server, and she was very personable, a lot of fun, and very attentive. Our food was awesome. We had the blackened grouper, and my wife loved the espresso martini. They had kids menus with crayons and a coloring page, and our kids liked all of their food as well. Highly recommend coming here and we will be back!

With previous location we were there 6 nights during our 7 day vacation food was fantastic definitely the chef was top notch and food was worth the price! New location nov 2024 food was horrible lemon overpowering the shrimp could not eat 🙄 Scallops were bearable but not what it used to be Tab 158 with Great Drinks and bartenders were great. Will not be back table of 2

Extremely loud, too expensive for the quality and the charm of a train station inside! Hardly mined! 4 scallops for 45.00 (plus 22% tip) is far too expensive, even if they tasted quite good.

Best meal I had in town! Location is beautiful and the food is amazing. I am Gluten free and had no problems finding something to eat. This is the perfect place for date night. Shout out to Jonathan who was extremely friendly and gave us recommendations on what yummy food to try. Get the Shrimp Mediterranean, you will not be disappointed.

I had the Cranberry Crusted Grouper on rice. I'm telling you what, I've lived in Ft Myers for almost 5 years and this meal was the top one or two I've had since I've moved here! The flavor and freshness was unmatched. I can't wait to go back again. Wow, we so enjoyed ourselves! My bride had the Mediterranean Shrimp and she really enjoyed her meal as well. Awesome!

What an amazing evening out. A true gem, for sure. The food was spectacular. Our service was exceptional!! And by far, the absolute best Old Fashion I have ever had! Most of them are too sweet for my palate, but the one at Fresh Catch Bistro was one to remember, for sure.

Went there last night for our first time to celebrate my 50th birthday dinner with my wife . We made reservations in advance ( which I highly recommend if you want a good seat with a view ) Ordered the dozen oysters as an appetizer , they were a bit chewy , not my normal style that I like . The fresh bread that they serve was excellent, the drinks 🍸 that we got were spot on very tasty . The main dishes were perfectly cooked & very tasty, loved them both . The waitress gave me a free piece of cake to take home . We will go back again .

It was mine and my husbands anniversary- I made reservations 2 weeks ago bit when we showed up I was not on the list but they quickly accommodated us to a nice quiet table and we had great food and drinks- the staff was friendly and very nice restaurant quality food!!! -

Went on 8/10 for our 28th anniversary dinner and I was so disappointed. I had the Grouper Oscar with blue crab on top. It smelled so fishy. I'm a local and came here just for the "FRESH" fish. I think the chef also knew it smelled fishy and then covered it in salt. My husband had the Steak and it was so chewy and over cooked. Our server was friendly and the drinks were good along with the view but after that fish experience(the only fine dining on the island with fish the reason we went) I won't be back.

went there on Wednesday for ladies night special Which meant all drinks for the ladies were at happy hour prices all night. We sat at the bar and were handed a price menu for their normal drinks. when questioned about the ladies specials they said that their hands are tied and that the owner decided not to honor it It must be noted that I called on the phone prior to our arriving to see if the Wednesday night ladies special was still in effect and was told yes it was When asked to see the manager The woman that came to talk to us said there’s nothing she can do about it if we wanted happy hour drinks we would’ve had to been there for happy hour. We did arrive there at 6 o’clock, but it was posted online and they even handed me the special for the trio lobster salad Sliders Along with the Tuesday through Friday specials. there’s also a guys night out on Thursdays ….. I wonder if they’re going to honor that one We walked out without ordering anything Of note - my friends and I love this place, but this time were treated so disrespectfully that we will never return again. Very sad

The interior of the restaurant is beautiful! Our server was excellent (I wish I could remember his name). The food was amazing (I had the Shrimp Mediterranean). Jerry goes from table to table, just to make sure that everyone is happy. Ask him about his John Wayne story!

After many visits this was so dissapointing after looking forward to returning post Ian. I'll start by saying the space is gorgeous overlooks the bay, great. Ends there. Off putting server. You could tell he didn't want to be bothered. It was like pulling teeth getting suggestions, specials- there were none...weird. no bread service until we asked where it was after seeing other tables get it well after our appetizer. My fish was fishy. I mean it reeked and it tasted just as bad as it smelled. Potato was cold. The only good thing, the carrots in the veg and the chowder. My companion did not like the drinks. 2 attempts and they weren't the same. That meal was ok but she finished quick and left as the awkward tone had been set.
