Hey there, I stumbled upon the "Next Door Bar" in this little village, and man, what a fantastic find! This place is like a hidden gem in the town. I just stopped off to wait for a lift, and it turns out that during the day, it's the ultimate cool place, that I am using right now as a little workspace, with loads of tables, an amazing vibe, and fun décor; it just is a perfect little space to focus in, but it looks like it turns into a vibrant and fun bar at night with live music. Plus, they serve up a good cup of coffee to keep me going. The staff member Michelle was so welcoming – joking that I was a lost child as I walked past the window many times and gave me some local tips. The vibe inside is so relaxed, with sunflowers everywhere, pop art on the walls, and vintage records adding to the atmosphere. It's like working in your hipster friend's living room, except they also serve up great food and drinks! Love this little find! ________________________________________

Excellent place we had an amazing night

Great atmosphere and live music. Bar looks fantastic. Drinks are a bit pricey for the area although the bar itself warrants higher prices.

Lovely little gem of a restaurant / village café. Went for Sunday carvery lunch. Food was excellent, great value for money - 4 slices of meat (beef, turkey, pork, gammon) and help yourself to vegetables....for less than £10.00 per plate....excellent value for money, you really cannot go wrong with the fantastic food. Not to mention the great puddings to choose from - waffles, pancakes and cheesecakes! Great service too, staff are really warm and friendly. If you want some good grub, at a good price, with some great service then this is the place to go!

Since the Village Butcher ceased trading I have been using here for a breakfast sandwich. Whilst everything is ok with the food the prucw changes weekly....please set the price and stick with it....£1 difference isn't great is cost of living crisis....how can I compare with the competition...if I compare against the highest I would never return again...but at the mean price it's value

On a dark December evening our van had broken down and we were stranded in Albrighton when we were pointed in the direction of Bar next door where Sally (wearing the best Christmas jumper ever) fixed us up with 2 fantastic steak meals and a very comfortable apartment for the night all at very reasonable prices. Then 2 lovely cooked breakfast and lattes in the morning and took us to the garage across the road and organised for the van to be recovered. We really can’t thank her enough what a lovely person

Had a wonderful breakfast here. Surroundings somewhat unique. Appetising breakfast cooked to perfection and presented by a colleague who was so helpful. Excellent attention to hygiene and Covid compliant. Looking forward to our next visit soon.

Lovely little 'bistro'. Sitting outside on a sunny morning with coffee and cognac just watching the world go by. Very pleasant. Used to allow you to eat your Indian takeaway there if you bought a drink.

Next Door Bar makes a really special night out. Gorgeous new bar and great selection of beverages including a new range of fun cocktails. The quirky atmospheric interior decorations make for an interesting and very enjoyable experience. Always something new to see. Great range of food and cheerful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Not to be missed!

We are looking to move to the area so came to have a look about. Thought we would try here for breakfast! Lovely staff, food was great and reasonably priced. I am a fussy eater and I practically picked my plate clean!

I am going to hate writing this review because this place is fantastic and the more excellent reviews it has the harder it is to book a table. I had Sunday lunch with my family and there is an excellent range of four meats (beef, turkey, gammon and pork) all cooked to perfection. The veg are cooked correctly and there is a good choice of veg, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and surprisingly sausages. I loved my dinner best in the area by far. There are puddings available if you have room for more. The bar did not have any ales that I personally liked but there is a selection of ale, lager, cider, wine etc. The place is nicely decorated and the staff and customers are lovely. Toilets are on the same level as the dining area but as I didnt visit them I cannot say much more about them. Parking is readily available nearby. Only problem now will be getting a table as this place deserves to be fully booked.

Met a couple of mate's for a few drinks here. Quirky bar with a welcoming atmosphere. Will visit again if we meet up in Albrighton, the menu looked decent, so we'll probably try the food next time. Only negative is, why do venue's like this insist on being so dark? Apart from that, decent little place.

I use this place all the time, from a quick snack, through to a vegan Sunday lunch. Very helpful and very polite. Good music, great beers and ciders and it even puts sporting events on the huge telly. Well worth a look. They even have apartments for rent if you feel like staying :-)

Brilliant place! Best cooked breakfast I've had in ages!

Lovely little bar/restaurant, definitely a hidden gem. Food is brilliant. Decoration is quirky and feels like a home from home! Would definitely recommend here and will be heading back in the future!

This is such a little gem of a place! The people that run the place/work there are very friendly and welcoming people. The decor inside is really tasteful, with walls filled with original art and the ceiling lined with 7" Vinyl Singles. You really get a sense of the artistic and creative vibe as you walk in. They have live music every Friday, which is free entry and the genres are eclectic. There is a great range of alcohol sold here, which you won't often find elsewhere, plus their beer is kept very well, so it is a pleasure to drink. They also do a range of food, from Sunday roast to Tapas. However their menu does change, so it's worth checking what's on. There are also some apartments that you can rent out at the back of the bar, which are really lovely. They are very clean, spacious and well decorated. There is also the option to rent out individual rooms. All in all, just a blummin' great place! One of my favourites :-)

A nice stop off on our bikes , tea and toast , could not go wrong. The coffee and bacon and eggs was also very good.

A little gem in a quiet village west of Wolverhampton. Good atmosphere with just a dozen tables and a bar area. When word spreads it will be heaving so booking is advised. Good menu with reasonable pricing plus variety of drinks & wines. Bravely giving local musical talent an audience.

We stayed at Albrighton Apartments and made full use of the Next Door Bar over a weekend. On Friday and Sunday night's there was musical entertainment and both acts were equally good playing a selection of songs of various genres. We relaxed in the welcoming sofa to enjoy this and loved the picture of the roaring fire. On the ceiling were old 45rpm discs which added character to an amazing display of unusual and quirky pictures. On Sunday we took full advantage of the menu enjoying the Sunday carvery without family who live near by and were not aware of this treat. The meal was enjoyed by all age groups and reasonably priced at £8.95 each. In the evening we tried the Greek Mezze which was priced at £3.00 per dish. We tried all six and again enjoyed it immensely and thought it was great value for money. So if you are in the area and looking for a chilled, entertaining evening the Next Door Bar is the place to visit.

Unbelievable food simply the best place to eat for miles around, we have tried most of them !! Great selection freshly made, no reheated stuff here. Can highly recommend it.

Cracking little place, with a good atmospheric feel to it. Brilliant for breakfasts and main meals. They also have open mike music sessions several times a week. Good prices to boot. Can't wait to go back for my fry up.

We love going to next door bar! Food is really good and the atmosphere is great! We went for my partners fathers birthday, they had an open night on which went down a treat. Can’t wait to go back again soon! :)

Brilliant nice ambience and really good food

went as it was my partner's birthday that day 22/3/18, and had heard they have a new chief, we certainly were not disappointed, the food was outstanding, my partner had the black pudding and blue cheese starter which he loved and we both had the hake for our main. the meal was just excellent and could have eaten the main again as it as that good, The staff were friendly and welcoming and certainly would recommend it

We visited family in Albrighton and enjoyed an evening here with a large group. There is a good feel about the place and food, drinks and service were very good. We will like to try it again on our next visit for sure.

Sólo he estado aquí para el desayuno o una bebida o un bocadillo. En el lado positivo, la comida es caliente y sabrosa y el servicio bueno. El personal es amable. En el lado negativo que me hubiera gustado que sirven comida caliente en un plato caliente, dar a los cuadros a limpiar, ya que siempre se siente más pegajosa y Hoover antes de abrir. Siempre hay migas y terror en el suelo.

Ir y tienen 2 carnes y una botella de vino por 20 libras en miércoles o jueves. Todos los jueves hay bien conocido Roy Sainsbury tocando jazz guitarra y otros grandes números ... todo incluido en el precio de la carne.

Me quedé muy contento de visitar este pub selección de bebidas era el mejor en el pueblo el pub parecía que estaba en un resort de vacaciones los precios fueron buenos i volveremos de nuevo

Simplemente me apetecía un bistec y mi pareja sugirió que me llevó a al lado, muy gratamente sorprendidos por el servicio, la calidad y la relación calidad-precio. Sin duda, volveremos otra vez!

Visited this cafe bar for a Sunday carvery. 4 roast meats and 12 trays of various vegetables and sides. Good selection of wines, beers and spirits as well as great coffee. The service is always first class, efficient and pleasant without being intrusive. After hosting a local photo competition the unique artwork has returned and continues to intrigue.Todays best was the Lamb roast followed by the amaretto torte.

I went for Sunday lunch.Beautifully cooked unpretentious food at reasonable prices and served by very friendly staff. The owners Sally and Pete looked after us very well and the photographs, all by local students from The Carol Langford School Of Photography, lining the walls were wonderful.A pretty cool place all in all and I'm looking forward to going there in the evenings as well.

After a morning out and about decided on some lunch, stopped off at Next Door. I had the full breakfast even though it was lunch time...It was great. Good service and food cooked just how I like it.

This for morning went there breakfast, I was not disappointed, very nice and just the right portion size for myself. I recommend the Door Stopper..Look forward to next Saturday for breakfast.

We decided to try this establishment as we had been in a number of times for coffee. Really nice refurbishment job done well.The Service was very good and it was a warm welcome, could not fault the friendly atmosphere. The food was very good value and you didn't have to wait long. We visited last night for for the live music event, which was fantastic. We went a bit early to have a meal. They have a nice varied menu, something for everyone. The starters and cheese board were amazing. The only disappointment was the quality of meat used in the main courses. I had a double beef burger and the quality was poor. My husband had the mixed grill and again he was disappointed with the quality of the meat. I know I am being very critical but with the price of the meals I would expect better quality meat. The side salad and chips were great. I would definitely return to the venue but would have to think about returning for food. Perhaps a home made burger or meat from a local supplier would be great and would attract regular customers. Overall we had a great night, there was a very nice relaxed atmosphere and the staff were very efficient. I understand they have recently extended the premises, so there is now lots of room to enjoy a good night.

We have been going to Nextdoor Bar since it opened and have never been disappointed with anything. The Bar has just had a refurbishment which is fabulous, a new Jukebox fantastic idea, played some great tunes on our Sunday Lunch visit. We have just been for the Sunday Carvery and it was outstanding, choice of 3 meats and then help yourself to everything else Yorkshire Puddings, Roast and New potatoes, Peas & Sweetcorn, Carrots, Green Beans, Cauliflower Cheese, Brussel Sprouts, Stuffing, Little Sausages and all the extras Apple Sauce, Mustard, Cranberry Sauce & Gravy. If you have room for Desserts there is a great choice, Sticky Toffee Pudding, Apple Pie, Ice cream Sundaes and Cheese and Biscuits to name a few all look and amazing and taste amazing not though I have tried them all. The Menu is also worth a try lovely dishes on there too. Thursday Nights 2 Steaks and a Bottle of House Wine for £20 always a popular night. Wednesday Night is Open Mic Night another popular night, just have a drink and listen to the Local Talent. Friday Nights Live Music some amazing talent have already played, well worth a Visit. I know all theses reviews are people's personal opinions and they have a right to express them, but in all the time Nextdoor Bar has been open I personally have never had any reason to express a bad review,we have always had excellent service and friendly reception wether eating or just going in for a drink. I have no hesitation in recommending this venue.

We went to NEXT DOOR in Albrighton for a quick meal last night.The refurbishment made the bar light and airy,The service was just at the right pace with nibbles to start, great steak meals and a huge cheeseboard after.There was no entertainment last night but a fab old fashionned juke box was great. (We have been here before when there has been entertainment and the atmosphere is lovely)Would def recommend.
