Saxtons Deli in Shropshire

Great deli in Church Stretton. The staff were friendly and obviously knew about the food they were selling. Very good range of savoury and sweet food and if you’ve never had fidget pie then this is the place to visit, well worth it.

We called at Saxons en-route back to Dartmoor after a few glorious days in Shrewsbury. We purchased a few items for lunch as everything in the window looked delicious and we were delighted with everything! The French bread pizzas were delicious, the quiche was too….and the white chocolate and raspberry tart was really superb. The staff were really friendly and helpful…taking time to chat briefly despite being busy whilst we were there. We wish we had a Saxtons Deli in our town…one of the best we have ever visited! we shall no doubt return and buy more goodies on our net trip to the area!

What a fantastic Deli. Every dish is mouth-watering. Selection fantastic. Staff never hurry you and have patience to ensure you get just what you want. Service with a smile. The whole experience of shopping there for such fresh delights is a pleasure.. A* Food A*. Staff. Our picnic on Long Mynd a delight. Worth the 70 mile round trip. My partner and I drive 45 miles to buy our lunch at Saxtons. YES their food IS really that good !!! This is a fabulous delicatessen and WOW!! Tom and his partner and staff really know what they're doing with food. Everything is delicious. I defy anyone to find a better sandwich anywhere in the UK. Roger Hinde, Nantwich

A fabulous deli! We popped in today for a sweet treat and came out with two enormous chocolate torte slices which, unusually, tasted as good as they looked. No bluff here! I only wish we lived close enough to make this our local.

Best deli we’ve ever been to. We go to Saxtons deli religiously every time we’re in Church Stretton. The Dutch apple pies, and everything else we’ve tried for that matter, are incredible. Owners and staff are so friendly! Highly recommended.
