My partner and I drive 45 miles to buy our lunch at Saxtons. YES their food IS really that good !!! This is a fabulous delicatessen and WOW!! Tom and his partner and staff really know what they're doing with food. Everything is delicious. I defy anyone to find a better sandwich anywhere in the UK. Roger Hinde, Nantwich

A fabulous deli! We popped in today for a sweet treat and came out with two enormous chocolate torte slices which, unusually, tasted as good as they looked. No bluff here! I only wish we lived close enough to make this our local.

Best deli we’ve ever been to. We go to Saxtons deli religiously every time we’re in Church Stretton. The Dutch apple pies, and everything else we’ve tried for that matter, are incredible. Owners and staff are so friendly! Highly recommended.

Lower GaldefordTonight Tim brought us the Pork special in breadcrumbs with veg, a bacon and mushroom risotto ,bolognaise and piquant prawn starters with a delicious creamy rice pudding for afters. All were hot and delicious. What a treat to have a home delivery and be able to enjoy food without the washing up.Highly recommended if you live in or near Ludlow.Thanks to Chef Nick,the lovely Deborah and of course, Tim.

8 Maypole CourtCalled in today for a nice lunch, but very dark and uninviting, could it be closed ? Once we were inside we were informed that only coffee was available, no food whatsoever. Having looked at Facebook reviews this place looked great but it turned out to be a waste of a journey so we spent our money elsewhere and will not try again. Very disappointing.

Rachel who ran the event was knowledgeable and friendly plus the drinks were obviously great! If it hadn’t cost us as much as the event in taxi fees we would be there regularly! Can’t wait to visit the pub in Audlem next given it’s much closer!
