Fab coffee, tea and cake, thought it was closed at first and could do with a sign at the bottom of the road. Fab hidden gem, enjoyed the chucks visiting and the black and white cat proudly displaying his/her latest kill? Great place to sit out and enjoy the rare sunshine and tranquility of the nearby church.

This homely tea room is situated on the Shropshire Way and is ideal for weary walkers wanting a break and refreshments. Our walking group visited recently having completed a walk from this pretty village. We enjoyed tea and delicious home made cakes and were made to feel very welcome, We sat outside in the sun but there is plenty of seating inside.

I always recommend our guests who stay at our bed & breakfast & self-catering accommodation about the wonderful tea rooms and often visit myself with family, friends & walking groups. Some of our guests even return to play their grand piano. Always a warm welcome from Nicky or her daughter with seating inside or out, which is opposite St Mary's Church. Ideal for morning coffee, light lunch or afternoon tea with home-made cakes/scones and a good selection of teas & coffee, or other times by request.

Whilst on ramble discovered this place by accident. It currently is only open Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon. The lady owner did suggest they may open all week long in the summer months. Cream Tea was £3.50 with superb home made scones, jam and fresh cream. Tea was proper loose leaf tea and seemed endless. Seating for approx 15 but my guess is on a sunny day you could take it outside. Local produce for sale too. Excellent service and will certainly be back for more!

Homemade scones, homemade jam, proper loose tea in a pot and beautiful Shropshire countryside-what's not to like! A new set up so limited opening hours at the moment (long weekend) but well worth the visit and Hopesay village is charming and perfect for exploring.

Met up with friends for lunch and was not disappointed. The cafe was clean, and comfortable with a lovely cosy atmosphere. Food was delicious, and loads of vegan/vegetarian choices. A feast for both mouth and eyes! Would highly recommend to anyone.
