Found this cafe while visiting an open garden in the area. Pleasant welcome . Ordered a jacket potato with cheese, a sandwich and two hot drinks. The potato was hot and the cheese melted. I've had many a potato that is warm at other establishments so this was a pleasant surprise. We also had an ice cream each. We will be back next time we are in the area

> Hello. What is the point of leaving a 1 star review without any explanation? I assume that this is not a genuine review. The owner has assumed an empty review is not genuine, however, that's not the case. I am a human and not a bot, I just didn't like the place or the service.

We visited on two separate occasions whilst staying in the area . Tea and scones with jam and cream the first time , tea and tea cakes the second. Lovely fresh food , warm welcome from the lady who owns it - she has only been there for two years after moving from Kent . Really worth a visit in order to support this local business

We stopped on a whim for coffee and cake yesterday. The coffee was fine, but delivered and drunk well before the cake arrived (after prompting and with a lack of concern by the server.) Both the coffee and lemon cakes were dry - less than fresh I would say. All very disappointing. The service was below par - we were not made to feel welcome at all.

We received a lovely welcome from Annie. Our room was warm, but not clean. Cobwebs over our beds, and the bathroom needed a good clean. Shower gel holder rusty, and the shower was not particularly powerful. Breakfast was across the courtyard, so if the weather is bad, you get wet. We ordered full English breakfast, which was nothing special. The Cornflakes were so soggy they were inedible, and the whole place needed a good deep clean. I will not be staying there again.

Although fairly local, we had not been along this road for many years. As we were passing I noticed it was a cafe, so decided to break our journey. Quite a small car park. The lady was very friendly and welcoming and informative about the local area. Other folks there were just arriving for the B&B adjacent to the cafe.Expecting a full meal in the evening at our destination I just opted for a coffee and toasted teacake, my wife just for a coffee. Sadly it didn't seem to be as enjoyable as I expected. Maybe something different on another day would have hit the right spot.Other visitors seemed to enjoy their choices so don't let me put you off. Seems a nice little place at a convenient location.

Stayed here in May whilst passing through the area. Its an ideal place to be based when exploring the Shropshire/ Worcestershire/ Herefordshire/ Central Wales/ area and though a tad remote, is worth deviating off the beaten track for a few miles. This is a very homely place, the owners very welcoming and the rooms are well furnished, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Its dog friendly, maybe not something for everyone but ideal for others. The building is still used as a carpentry shop (presumably long established if the name is anything to go by) as well as being a tearoom/ B&B and this adds to the character of the whole site. Views are outstanding across the valley to the hills beyond.Breakfast was exceptional, all the usual items on offer with a fantastic full English made from local produce cooked to perfection. All in all a great place to stay, to be recommended.

The short summary includes a solid 5 star performance in this family owned bed and breakfast, in the beautiful rolling hills of Shropshire. Annie was a great host and very helpful in dealing with our allergies. The room was magnificent and we were welcome to use the porch and garden, as well as taking a look in their fabulous wood shop. The breakfast was well prepared and they even went out of their way to make sure my girlfriend got a special breakfast. As one of just a handful of BnB's we've visited in Wales and England, the Wifi was perfect, helping us decide where to go walking during our stay. A solid 5 star performance and we will definitely make our way through Clunbury, next time we are in the UK.

This is a lovely cafe in a lovely location with great service. I had a great veggie sausage sandwich and I also noticed they had vegan cake on offer! I came here by motorbike and dropped one of my earplugs on the drive; Annie and the gent there spent a considerable amount of time helping me look for it before giving me some others for the ride back then eventually finding and posting mine back to me a few days later - so grateful!

Stopped for breakfast since our usual cafe is closed on a Sunday. Service very slow, however, staff friendly. As it was busy, we had to sit up in the back/top room which feels dirty and was very noisy. Our 2 breakfasts arrived after near 50minutes and was very underwhelming for the cost. Eggs overdone, sausages very peppery, beans served in chipped crockery and butter served so cold it couldn't spread on the cold toast. Unfortunately, we will not return to what could be a lovely set up.

The Cat's Pyjaamas is a superbly located new café, located right in Shrewsbury's Old Market Square. There are plenty of seats both inside and out even when it is busy. Eating outside when the sun is shining is a pleasure. Not only is it in a perfect location for those of us that love people-watching, it is most certainly one of the trendiest places to be seen, noticed or meet someone. Unfortunately, I cannot support The Cat's Pyjamas as they ONLY accept electronic/phone/tablet/card payment. Support your local community or if you prefer to give your money to international, tax-avoiding companies, you might as well buy your cakes, coffees and teas from the likes of Amazon.

Out on my motorcycle and needed food, Village Coffee is a hidden gem. There's on and off street parking, all subject to how busy it is, and how many of you there are. Either way, they can accommodate. I ordered a bacon and sausage sandwich with an apple tango. It came to just over £7, which isn't bad at all given the quality, and it went down a treat. Any motorcyclists looking for a bite to eat near J3 / M54, Cosford / Albrighton, then this cafe is a great shout! They have a large amount of 2 wheeled visitors, some with pedals and others with engines. Either way, it's not bad at all 😉👍 I recommend anyone looking for a sandwich or bite to eat, definitely give this place a try.
