Not sure what has happened to dinkys but after my visit today I won't be returning unless something changes. The quality of the food has hit rock bottom and what happened to service with a smile?

Been coming here for years. Still great food but the place needs a bit of a clean up...Will still be back again tho..

Not open .. sad times 2.30 but says open till 6 but all locked up ,was looking for to nice burger on our road trip wales to midlands all enjoy food from. There but not today sadly

good value for money - a few picnic benches and free motorcycle newspapers and books with a small donation to charity -watch the trucks go by on the main road- quick service and good food -very popular with bikers

Brilliant little find on a Saturday morning in Feb. Staff were efficient, service was friendly and food come hot within five minutes of ordering. Old school quality large cafe breakfast with a brew for under £10 you can't go wrong.

Great food, which is reasonably priced. I had the southern fried chicken burger with chips, it was all lovely and very filling. Plenty of parking. Will definitely visit again

I've been stopping at dinkys Dinah for years when passing through. However, just the other day Oct 24. The staff were soooo grumpy and unwelcoming in every aspect to all that were waiting to be served... Such a shame ... The food cannot be faulted but the tables outside were full of mould and growth of fungi on trapped food..... As I said" such a shame ! ". I will not be stopping again

One of Salop’s best kept secrets (hopefully), Dinky’s for generations has been serving up quality food to pretty much anyone heading in or out of Wales on the A458, or anyone who’s heard of it and wants a good breakfast. The sausage and egg baps/sandwiches are perfect, it’s nothing over the top but it’s good, honest and ultimately tasty food, the hash browns are also recommended. Will likely be coming back plenty of times in the future for generations to come, usually to be greeted with the familiar “butter on your bread?” by the owner. Highly recommended.

Foods ok toilets here r a disgrace no locks on door an they stink need t hold nose when u go in !

There’s always a great atmosphere at this place and people are always happy to have a good chat with you. My wife and i always go on our motorbike and so do many others but there are all kinds of people who visit from car enthusiasts, caravan and camper vans/motorhomes, farmers. Everyone is welcome and are welcomed. Food is always beautiful and very reasonably priced, there’s ample amounts of seating and also dogs are welcome, there are water bowls out for your fury companions. There is a toilet block located in the lay-by also. Cash & card payments are accepted.

It used to be 24 hours but not anymore. Still, food is excellent, nice place for lunch

Stop here frequently, never ever had a less than excellent sausage & egg sandwich and cuppa tea. No longer 24 hour which is great shame but worth every penny. No fuss no frills just good honest food.

Roadside cafe/truckers stop worth the stop off. Reasonable priced bacon butty and B.E.S.T breakfast.

Dinkys Dinah is a great place for food, very popular. The council toilets in the same layby however are some of the most disgusting I've ever seen

Bacon was pretty much raw as the food came out in less than 5 minutes for a bacon and egg sandwich.. egg was good but bacon was not cooked

Amazing last visit I took my motorcycle from Coventry to Aberystwyth and stopped in on the way and on the way home amazing food as always I still have memories of stopping here as a very young child and it's still as good now as then even better being an adult on my own motorcycle tho I went on my own but ended up chatting to so many bikers and got to ride with them too don't get me rong it's great if your in a car too honestly the atmosphere and the quality of food dinkys is a must a nice day I'd ride from Coventry just to go to dinkys

The toilet s have had a face lift but the council has not opened them still padlocked shut ,why spend the money on something that you can’t use

Basic roadside food, good value for money. Staff very friendly. Good sized parking layby.

Bacon & egg sandwiches(runny fried egg & thick cut bacon). Mug of tea(medium strength). My partner had bacon & egg sandwich as well, he also had a mug of coffee. This time we visited here was when we were coming back from Shrewsbury. Excellent as always.

Dinkys!! You can't get any better from a roadside café. Great slap up breakfast and half way to the family. Bacon needs to be cooked more though!

This a very busy place. Food is good but service can be a bit slow. Staff could be a bit better as not as polite and friendly as they could be.

Been stopping by on and off for for over 15 years and you can't beat the gammon and egg bap.

It's a ok place to stop for a snack do not use the toilets they are minging they should be closed down

1st impressions after riding over an hour and half for breakfast, was...impressive! Lovely food, service, and friendly locals. Worth the effort to visit.

Excellent stopping place if you are traveling to Wales. Does a good bacon bap. Toilet in the layby are a bit grotty but it does have a disabled one.

Place and Bins appeared well in need of a bloody good clean. Very unpleasant smell wherever you sat. Back in the car was best bet with thr Aircon on.

Maybe I picked a bad day. Lamb burger was horrible. I don't like giving bad views , however, I was not alone, and their burger was just as bad. Not a place I'll be going back too.

Great place, brilliant staff, food first class made to order. One of the best stop offs on the way to Wales I know even if it's for a mug of tea. Sometimes can be busy but worth the wait

This is a burger and similar (bacon baps, sausage baps, pies) fast food shack in a lay- by.. didn't score well this time as closed when I was there

Have been using Dinkys Dinahs for years now it is a great place to stop for something to eat while on you travel. The food is very good lots of choice but don't expect anything posh here it is a no frills place with very good food at a great price. The service is always good and the staff are kind and helpful

Convenient greasy spoon, staff were really friendly and the food arrived fast. It did what it was meant to with no thrills added. Major bad point if they are a part of this business are that the toilets are in a shocking state and I mean really really bad 🤢

It was actually closed when I visited, hence rating which I'm sure will be higher when I visit when it's open. For me it was the charity bookshelf for the Air Ambulance, I found an excellent book. There was no honesty/charity box, so I left the money in the DVD box I hope they found it. It looks a good place.

Passed here many times but this time managed to call in, glad we did, had lovely breakfast rolls and looks a popular place.

The extra could do with a very good pressure wash. The floor leaves a lot to be desired. But the friendly service. The good food and drink help make up for this. We along with many more stop here whenever we can.

This used to be the place to stop but has gone downhill rapidly. You can't eat your full English inside anymore. Very disappointing.

Highly recommend - great for a stop off anytime or breaking up a journey. Food tasty, friendly atmosphere, bikers, truckers, campers, shoppers etc. Parking off road, outside seating, public conveniences.

Good food Been before Lovely staff Griddle had broken this time so no burgers etc But they do nice fresh sandwiches And tasty chips Love sitting in the layby seeing all the bikes

Woman who served me looked like she needed the Samaritans, visited 9.30am 1st June.

Family tradition to stop for breakfast here on our way to Wales for a hiking holiday! Cannot fault this place, food is delightful better than any service station!
