Really nice garden to the rear and a decent coffee (though the flat white was much more like a cappuccino). Salmon, eggs, toast, tea cake and flat white for about £17. Friendly staff and not too busy. Closed at 2pm on a Thursday.

Popped in on Sunday and what a surprise it’s a right hidden gem. We had the poached eggs, salmon, toast and avocado with coffee and cloudy apple juice It was delicious, cooked perfectly and reasonably priced I think it was the owner cooking and if it was then 5 star Will definitely pop back

Lovely freshly cooked breakfast here today with quality ingredients. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and very obviously dog lovers. Ours were made very welcome and enjoyed a free sausage. We sat in the garden to the rear of the cafe in the sunshine. There were 12 of us and the service was still great. Look forward to visiting again.

Went for breakfast today , was one of the best breakfast I've had in a long time , I had full English and was amazing, very nice coffe . Very friendly staff and good service, the only thing that's a BIG no no is selling Aldi tropical blast for £2 a can when there £1:69 for a pack of 6, I think that's absolutely ridiculous, must be making a fortune..... And also not to be sold separately! . Will come for breakfast again tho as was really nice food .

We went for brekki here this morning, we were warmly welcomed as were our furbabies. They kindly brought out sausages for the dogs and our drinks and food were absolutely amazing and very fairly priced! The iced coffee was gorgeous and my sister and I each had ‘martins muffin’ which was delicious!! The bacon was out of this world. The ingredients is clearly all locally sourced and of high quality. Absolutely wonderful experience! We’re going to go back in the morning if we’re not too hungover from tonight 😊

Finding vegan options in Bridgnorth isn't so easy, so we came here on Saturday after trying a few other places claiming to have vegan options but then having none. The menu looked nice and the decor inside is homely and quirky. Just my kind of place! The cafe wasn't too busy when we entered, one spare table and a couple spare which were reserved. It was market day so a lot of places were super busy. We lingered at the door for a minute in case we were to be seated, but nobody acknowledged us as the staff were quite busy so we went up to the front desk. As we approached my mum asked nicely if there might be a table available for us. A lady appeared in the kitchen who was very flustered and quite abruptly told us we couldn't sit down anywhere, as they were very busy and couldn't serve us as they had no plates. It was clearly a bad time but we were made to feel as though we were bothering and annoying them and had asked for something out of the ordinary. I said to mum that maybe we should take out instead with this being the case. We asked the younger waitress if we could perhaps do takeaway instead and she said yes no problem, but as we turned to see if we could take a look at a menu to order the exasperated lady popped up again and angrily told us no, we could not takeaway, she just couldn't do it etc. We were all a bit taken aback so we just said okay, thank you and walked out with our tails between our legs. I can understand being rushed off your feet and flustered on a hectic day, but having worked in customer service myself for many years, even when you're having a bad day at a busy time it's not okay to be so rude to potential customers and it could have been handled so much better. It was upsetting and actually a little embarrassing for us to be spoken to in this way, especially in front of other people seated at the nearby tables when we simply wanted to eat there. It is a cafe, after all! We wouldn't have minded at all if they'd told us they were fully booked or couldn't accommodate us at that time, apologised and greeted us with a hello and goodbye even. This place looks great and we would have tried again the next day for brunch had we not had this experience. Really such a shame and totally unnecessary as we were simply trying to spend money in the establishment! Definitely something to consider as I can't imagine others would want to be spoken to this way.

Never been before so decided to try somewhere new. Walked in and expected the staff to walk over to us to guide us to a table like people normally do, but because no one did I walked up to a member of staff just to ask if there’s any tables free, for her to turn around and rudely shout “were busy at the moment look yourself”, there was only 3 tables in so we knew they weren't busy. Awful attitude, she was a tall brunette white girl, and the rest of the staff seemed to be gossiping in the back. Never going there again! Don’t bother waisting your money!

Fresh tasty food, great service and lovely staff with both indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of vegan options too which made a pleasant change from breakfasts, sourdough baguettes with healthy fillings, sharing boards/platters, daily specials like Asian spiced cous cous with falafel and flatbread plus a decent range of vegan cakes. I’m convinced most, if not all of it is homemade too given the quality. Most other places in town only offer one vegan option that’s usually boring and unhealthy so it’s great to find somewhere that offers good variety :) We will be back, lots!

We are regular visitors to Bridgnorth, but only happened upon this lovely cafe today. It’s a little out the way of the hustle and bustle of the town centre, but definitely well worth a visit. Called in recently one Saturday morning for something to eat and drink. I haven't been here for awhile and was shocked how grubby it now appears. The menus, when we eventually found them, were scattered around and very sticky!! they needed replacing to be honest. The tables needed a good clean and they had previous customer's crocs on it We weren't greeted by the staff who were huddled behind the counter. The kitchen area really needed a good clean and where the games were, things were loose out of the boxes. We left in the end as to be honest didn't fancy eating there after all that. It's such a shame as this used to be lovely, it needs direction and right now it isn't there.

Bit of a shame. Waited over an hour for couple of bacon sandwiches, everyone else had received their food and when we went to ask, they hadn't started cooking them yet (I think they had forgotten about our order). Asked for a refund. Two stars as this was obviously a mistake rather than the norm. Eaten here a few times, good food and milkshakes but there is ALWAYS a long wait for what are essentially cheap and easy breakfast sandwiches!

We have visited this place a few times throughout the summer and we have always loved it, good value for money and the children love the milkshakes and the games on offer. However we visited a few weeks back on a Sunday afternoon and it was not the Butlers we have known before, 3 young members of staff working, no acknowledgment when we walked in. I therefore helped myself to menus from the counter. Went to order and was ignored by a young girl behind the counter as she shouted at a young boy to come and serve me, he was very polite when he took my order. I went back to my table to wait for our order where she carried on shouting at the 2 young boys working, they were clearly embarrassed and so were we at her attitude. We enjoyed our food as always but the atmosphere and service made for an uncomfortable experience.

My partner and I popped in to this small but beautifully formed place for lunch today and were delighted that we had done so. I had soup of the day which was a mixture of vegetables grown in their own garden out back, and was adjusted for me as it was cooked (I'm not vegan, the standard soup is). The end result was a firm two thumbs up, the best soup I've had in the Northern Hemisphere by a long a shot - real NZ quality. My partner had a baked potato with cheese and beans which was a huge feed (the potato was a monster) and enjoyed that very much too. Our flat whites were made by a friendly and helpful young man and were good too, but the best part was the friendly service from the team (barista whose name I didn't get), Rebecca (manager?) and the superb and super smiley chef Sarah. It was our first visit but won't be our last. Love your work Butlers staff - keep it up :-).

I Visited Butlers earlier this week, and ordered a coffee. I have to say the coffee was lovely, but a few other things spoilt the experience. There was a constant drilling noise underneath the floor(I presume in a lower room of the shop). This was very noisy and off putting. When the shop was quiet unfortunately I could hear unpleasant comment towards younger staff, from what seemed to be a manager in a bad mood. When all in all, younger staff seemed very pleasant and offered a good service. The range of food and drinks on the menu was nice and the cakes looked very apatising but I couldn't of stayed to find out. This was my first visit to butlers but may be one of my last.

We went in on two successive days to get take out milkshakes when passing. Butlers had only recently opened (within a week of opening). We were served by different people on the two visits but got a very similar reception from both. They were not very welcoming considering it was such a new establishment. I think it was through shyness rather than rudeness but I really would have thought they would have been a bit more engaging seeing as they had only just opened. They took the order and made the drinks which was ok but as they had only just opened I would have thought they might have been a little more chatty.

Went for the first secret diner club evening that is run by Jess who owns the fab 'not today seitan' in liar liar..what can i say?.the food was on another level. Litrally the best vegan food in Oswestry and way surpasses anything else available in a vegan cafe in Oswestry. The food was beautifully presented, the flavours were amazing and the cocktails were beautiful too. Really hope the owner decides to run these evenings on a regular basis although once word gets around i imagine getting a table will be really difficult. Its great to see a vibrant young business do so well and honestly the co trading with Liar liar is such a brilliant idea. Two amazing businesses running side by side. I cannot recommend this highly enough, the best vegan resturant/cafe in town by far

But from there it went downhill....we were put on the smallest table in the furthest corner despite there being lots of much nicer empty tables available..we eventually managed to order drinks and asked to order food..The waitress mumbled something and walked off....a lovely young man delivered our drinks and said the young lady would be back.....when she returned to take our food order we asked what she had said, apparently it was they had lamb....then we tried to order but what she actually meant was they only had lamb nothing else and mostly no veg either...one of our party doesnt eat red meat so lamb wasnt an option but the waitress did nothing to try to help the problem...no offer to check if the kitchen could help.....I really could understand this situation if we were walk ins but we had booked...they knew we were coming....why would you not attempt to provide at least one other choice We drove to Bridgnorth from Shrewsbury to take some family out for a treat and thats the best they could offer....obviously we will not return.
