Five of us booked for a late breakfast. Suffice to say it won’t be the last time. It was really excellent! Efficient, friendly and good humoured service. Absolutely delicious food. Honestly one of the tastiest breakfasts (full English) that I’ve ever had. All 5 of us agreed that we’ll be back as soon as we can be.

Out of the main coffee shops to visit in church Stretton this is definitely one of my favourites. Yes it doesn’t have as much atmosphere compared to berry’s or Jemima’s Kitchen, however as long as you are in good company it doesn’t matter. The inside is clean, tidy and is very light. The staff are polite and the food is very good quality. Price wise this is definitely the most competitive compared to its rivals. I definitely recommend!

In desperate need of drinks after a long walk over the moors we popped into this cafe as many of the others were shut. It was 45mins until closing time yet we were given a very frosty greeting by the lady serving. Only drinks and cake were on offer, but we didn’t order cake as we felt the woman just wanted to close up. The sweeping of the floor around us and the bringing in of all the outdoor seating gave us that impression. A shame about the unpleasantness as we didn’t go in again for the rest of our week’s holiday. The menu was showing very reasonably priced meals, but the atmosphere wasn’t worth returning. NB: If you want to see an old mobile phone then this is the place to spot one.

A group of us stopped at this gem of a cafe for breakfast on our way to the Long Mynd. What a wonderful breakfast!! superb full English! Nice big pot of tea and plenty of toast. Clean toilets too!! As we were on Motorbikes, we made the most of the warm sunny morning, not many of them lately and sat outside at the four tables. Pleasant and helpful staff. Will definitely be paying this cafe a visit again!!

We visited just before the cafe closed but we're told not to hurry, we still had plenty of time to eat. We all had paninis which were tasty with plenty of filling. The staff, without exception, were cheerful, helpful and polite and the cafe, including the toilet, very clean. I am a wheelchair user and it was very easy to get into the café. There was no accessible toilet but, for a very small café in an old building, I didn't really expect one. There are no steps to reach the toilet and, as long as you are able to walk a few paces, it is easy to get to. We will certainly be visiting this café again.

We arrived into Church Stretton off the hills at 2.55pm and everywhere we tried to get food had stopped serving. We weren't the only ones going from place to place either! The youngsters in here had obviously cleaned up and were ready to close at 3 as their sign said, but they saw we were starving and were really kind and helpful in offering to cook for us. We got a really fab, delicious ham sandwich and a toastie with fresh salad and a great coffee, when noone else in the town could help!! It may have been simple, but it genuinely changed our day!! Thank you!!

We were really impressed with this place 2 months ago - not any more. We went last week and it was a lot quieter than the first time and totally different staff - no atmosphere. We placed our order and waited and waited.Meanwhile we overheard some other customers ask for a refund, after waiting half an hour and then having 2 wrong dishes brought out to them. Our meals eventually arrived only for us to find that the chips we'd ordered had become fries. Everyone who ate before us had had proper chips and 2 people who ordered after us had proper chips so I queried why we had been served fries as neither of us like fries. The waitress went to ask in the kitchen but never came back. So we left our fries (£4.50's worth) and I went to the counter to ask again. The cook stuck her head around the door & said that 'potatoes are expensive at the moment so to save waste we don't order as many'!!! I think I was too gobsmacked to reply, but there was 2 bowls of fries wasted and an older couple who'd just had ham, eggs & chips left their fries as well. Sounds like false economy to me as they have just lost some customers.

Perhaps we came on a bad day. I think we got the last table in all of Church Stretton on this sunny spring Sunday. Order placed at cash desk. Drinks, kids meals for the kids, a panini and a jacket potato. Over 5 minutes later, waitress informs us there are no chips left for kids meals. A bit of a surprise as they still had over an hour of lunch service left. Anyway, changed kids orders to sandwiches. Another 5 or more minutes pass before waitress comes back to ask if kids would like cheese or mayo in their sandwiches. At this point still no drinks. Kids sandwiches finally arrive; with garnishes despite asking for kids sandwiches (£3 vs £4:75). “Is that all” the kitchen staff asked. No!! She seemingly had not been told about the panini or potato. Another 5 minutes and along comes a pot of tea for two. Not what was ordered. Order made clear (yet again). Coffee eventually made its appearance followed by panini (filling stone cold) and potato (with incorrect fillings). OH had to go to ask for kids drinks. Food was average, questionable quality of ingredients, but generous portions. The young staff were clearly out of their depth in running this cafe. Oh, and there was faeces on the toilet seat and the sink in the loo was rather dusty. Drinks were taken off the bill due to the long wait. Waiting was the least of their problems!!

A group of us went here for breakfast following an early morning walk and it was just what we needed! At £8 for a full English and £6 for a smaller breakfast (both included tea or coffee) the food was very nice and outdid the prices. Staff were very helpful and cheery despite having to cook breakfast for 12 hungry people at once! Would recommend.

Went for the first secret diner club evening that is run by Jess who owns the fab 'not today seitan' in liar liar..what can i say?.the food was on another level. Litrally the best vegan food in Oswestry and way surpasses anything else available in a vegan cafe in Oswestry. The food was beautifully presented, the flavours were amazing and the cocktails were beautiful too. Really hope the owner decides to run these evenings on a regular basis although once word gets around i imagine getting a table will be really difficult. Its great to see a vibrant young business do so well and honestly the co trading with Liar liar is such a brilliant idea. Two amazing businesses running side by side. I cannot recommend this highly enough, the best vegan resturant/cafe in town by far

Lovely little dog friendly cafe. The Staff are very friendly and food is fabulous, also great value for money. Great selection of home made cakes. Definitely my favourite place to chill out.

Great service, incredible price, a vegetarian paradise!! When we arrived the kitchen was just closing but the chef asked us what we were wanting and then accommodated for us 2 fabulous meals. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Lovely decore and perfect music to go with it.

Honestly the best pub meal I've had in years! The steak and Guinness pie was delicious and chips better than many chippies. How they do that with bargain prices baffles me. Highly recommend

Very very disappointing...we booked for Sunday lunch..big mistake. We were not greeted on arrival, there wasn't even anyone behind the bar for us to let them know we had arrived.... But from there it went downhill....we were put on the smallest table in the furthest corner despite there being lots of much nicer empty tables available..we eventually managed to order drinks and asked to order food..The waitress mumbled something and walked off....a lovely young man delivered our drinks and said the young lady would be back.....when she returned to take our food order we asked what she had said, apparently it was they had lamb....then we tried to order but what she actually meant was they only had lamb nothing else and mostly no veg either...one of our party doesnt eat red meat so lamb wasnt an option but the waitress did nothing to try to help the problem...no offer to check if the kitchen could help.....I really could understand this situation if we were walk ins but we had booked...they knew we were coming....why would you not attempt to provide at least one other choice We drove to Bridgnorth from Shrewsbury to take some family out for a treat and thats the best they could offer....obviously we will not return.
