The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Wiltshire South West

Delightful country pub. We met the owner and he was a lovely genuine man. Fish and chips was superb, and beer was perfection!

Nice decor and all very clean. Four of us had a salad bowl, which was very nice. However, service was rushed - no sooner had we received our drinks we were asked if we were ready to order. And at times staff were a little rude. The woman at the entrance was a bordering aggressive when she asked if we had a booking and I saw other guests being greeted in the same manner. Two of our party were asked why they were at the bar when there was table service - they just wanted to see what beers were available. And our requests for the music to be turned down were met with several lame excuses and no empathy - “Well, you’re sat under the speaker” and “Other customers won’t like it if we turn it down”. Everyone else was talking and not listening to the music. One member of staff also pulled a face as he walked away. There are things to like at this pub, but the service definitely leaves room for improvement.

This lovely pub is well situated for a half-way family meet up. The staff are welcoming and the pub is dog friendly with very pleasant outside areas as well. To be constructive, a review should include observations and I would say that the new menu has fewer veggie/vegan options than the previous one as I recall it. A real cider offering would be good as well.

I was very impressed with the service and the quality of the meals

Very lovely local café/bar. Came in for breakfast and a coffee, enjoyed it so much came back for a drink at lunchtime too. The inside has a very retro feel from the old school music magazine's around the walls of the establishment, and very cosy areas with nice natural lighting and places to have a good chat or cosy up with a book. The manager is a very approachable lady who gave me an insight into the company of how they use mostly local produce to run the establishment. Definitely will be returning for the Chorizo Hash and the caramel oat milk latte, really hit the spot.

Ive Been coming here on and off for years and out of all costa's ive been in this is most friendly. Bring to table service with a friendly smile . best flat whites from all ive visited.

Ideal quick drink before heading home.

The staff were great and helpful, the room was clean and nice and the bed was clean oaderless and comfortable. But most of all the room had a modern controlable and quiet air con unit.

We’ve never had cause to complain, and have always been very happy with our local Wetherspoons. Sadly we were disappointed to be told that they had no small bottles of Prosecco, which we understood, but we were unable to buy white wine by the glass, except for a Chardonnay, which we didn’t want. Is this a new Policy or a blip in ordering?

Food was fine. But definitely wouldn’t visit again as we were felt to feel extremely awkward not wanting a roast. Even mentioned that there was £200 meat in the kitchen needing to be eaten. Not our problem! The pub wasn’t busy so it isn’t as if we were blocking a table where others could have been sitting. They need to realise it’s not just the food but the service you receive that is so important. Definitely not going back never have had such grumpy service!

Absolute gem of a cafe. Excellent food, my Ploughman’s Salad was divine….and the coffee was perhaps as good as I’ve ever tasted and believe me I’m a coffee connoisseur! Can’t wait to visit next time I’m nearby

We went for afternoon tea yesterday, which we enjoyed but not the best we’ve had. We had a voucher which had unfortunately expired but we explained due to illness we hadn’t been able to use it when planned. We were told it wouldn’t be honoured & would you like you bill ( £79) which we paid & went. Needless to say we will not be returning anytime soon for what turned out to be a very expensive & disappointing Christmas gift.

Wedding coordinators both amazing. Prompt and professional support and advice. Food was better than some Michelin restaurants I’ve been to. Five star quality; amazing service and would highly recommend. Venue went over and above what was necessary from free coffee to supporting external vendors and accommodation

Went on Sunday with family for a birthday lunch, the roasts were a bit disappointing with overcooked yorkies and hard potatoes, however the beef and chicken were cooked really well. The starter choices ordered were nice, but we were really disappointed about only being able to order off the Sunday menu as I enquired two weeks prior to our booking and was told we could definitely order from either the main or the Sunday menu which was not the case and left little choice for a member of our group with allergies. It wouldn’t have been such a disappointment had I not been assured of this prior to the booking. We had to go up to the bar a couple times to order a few drinks and a forgotten yorkie but not the end of the world. Staff seemed a bit flustered, but expected on a busy Sunday lunch.
