The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South Hams South West

Popped in for Lunch whilst visiting Dartmouth and glad we found this Bistro The food was excellent and reasonably priced I had mixed seafood and it was lovely very nice place and pretty busy & we offered to shared our table with a couple of strangers and soon good chatting and having a great time, The owner appreciated us sharing the table as brought in a couple more customers who would otherwise have gone elsewhere, nice if others do the same - you never know you may get on and meet some lovely people will certainly return here the next time we go to Dartmouth

This lovely little coffee shop is full of charm. Staff are very friendly and the coffee is excellent. I've been going every morning since being on holiday here in Dartmouth. It's a must for any coffee lover.

What lovely people,nothing was too much trouble. Extra strong tea provided with no fuss, and a smile. Staff were even lovely to a silly woman who thought the baked potatoes might be too big..... Don't eat it all then love would have been my response but they were admirably restrained.

What a wonderful place. We went for breakfast (8 of us) and loved it. The food was delicious (cooked breakfast), the service excellent and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent with allergies. The decor was retro which gave it a great feel. The sale of local products was an added bonus. We will definitely be visiting again before we finish our holiday. A cheeky piece of cake was taken away too. All the cakes looked delicious. The Lupin lady 😀

Such a wonderful experience with tasty food, perfect tea, and a beautiful setting. We had such a lovely time it was idyllic and just the tasty meal we needed after our walk on the Warren. Highly recommended.

Been twice in two days. Was so impressed the first time that I went back the next day with my husband for lunch despite the number of cafes and coffee shops in town. Great coffee and hot drinks menu. The bacon sandwiches are freshly cooked, served piping hot in local sourdough. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Couldn’t find fault with anything we ordered.

What a delightful place to go for breakfast , we wandered in mainly because everywhere else didn’t open until 10am , We were very warmly welcomed , unfortunately I didn’t get the ladies name who looked after us , but she was friendly. Quirky nothing was to much trouble and the full English was freshly cooked ( we were told that because the sausages were freshly cooked there would be a wait ) Delicious local ingredients, the bubble and squeak was amazing . Excellent coffee and cake here while waiting for our train trip. Owner very welcoming and friendly- especially to our border terrier! Cherry blondie recommended 👍

Great little cafe with friendly staff nice coffee at a great price, also lovely food at an affordable price too would recommend.

My husband and I had tea and good toast sat outside this friendly cafe. A lovely, quiet area of town, I recommend a visit, especially on a sunny day.

SADLY I FOUND A HAIR IN MY CHOCOLATE BROWNIE. TOLD THE LADY IN THE CAFE WHO APOLOGISED AND SHRUGGED, BUT DIDN'T OFFER A REFUND OR A DIFFERENT PIECE OF CAKE. WON'T BOTHER TO EAT THERE AGAIN AS INCIDENT MADE FEEL SLIGHTLY NAUSEOUS.

Absolutely fantastic New Years Eve at Bar 1620. Wonderful cosy atmosphere, really friendly staff and great music. An extra thanks to Luke behind the bar…..what a lovely guy. Look forward to visiting again.

Stopped by to pick up some carb sustenance on a long hike and, my, what a delight. Pecan-almond-slice and a flap jack, both the perfect balance between crumbly and moist - absolutely superb. We'll definitely pop over again to sample the savoury delights and more of the cake. Highly recommended!

This was our first visit to the Moorland Cafe despite only living 2 minutes away and we were very delighted we did! Most beautiful views over the South Hams towards the south Devon coast, the venue was spotlessly clean and well organised, very welcoming Team and a great menu with something for everyone, will definitely be returning
