We had a really nice evening in the brick stone. The atmosphere was open an warm hearted. We watched football, had a few beers and played pool. For Dinner I had the Fried Wings which I really enjoyed. Henry is also a very lovely, nice person. If I'm again in this area I definitely wanna come back ✨💕

This was our first visit to the Moorland Cafe despite only living 2 minutes away and we were very delighted we did! Most beautiful views over the South Hams towards the south Devon coast, the venue was spotlessly clean and well organised, very welcoming Team and a great menu with something for everyone, will definitely be returning

The best...in Salcombe for Glorious, clean, tasty, sandwiches, baguettes, salad boxes, deserts to take away. Fine, quality ingredients...prepared in a light, bright, scurrilous clean shop environment. Great, genuine, customer service. Thank you. A credit to the catering proffesion. Much Respect.

This is the 2nd time we have visited here and both times service was professional food was plentiful and tasty and added bonus is farm shop next door got 2 beautiful rib eyes cut fresh of a joint and tasted superb no tough gristle and was tender you could of cut with a spoon...would highly recommend

Beautiful very old, frienldy Inn, food was brilliant and the atmosphere was great!

Stopped for coffee and pastries. Everything was really good, I had to buy more when I left to take away. A good little selection of toys too, which kept my daughter entertained when she'd finished the pain au chocolat that was as big as her face!

Special place. Historic building, tiny village, beautiful setting, talented chef. Yes please.

We had a lovely meal for 2 adults and 2 children. The food was lovely and we enjoyed some waitbait and mussels to start and then I often gave the seafood linguine which I always enjoy.

Great lunch. Amazing setting and food. My husband had brill at a brill price. Our son had an amazing quantity of scallops, again amazing quality. I had juicy mussels. Altogether fab. Would highly recommend.

We visited during our stay in the countryside just outside of Kingsbridge. We came on a whim but they managed to accommodate us despite it being a busy evening. We loved the ambience of the place and all the dishes we sampled, if we’re ever back down here we will definitely return.

We popped over from Dartmouth for a walk and a drink. Decided to go into the Packet for a drink and sat up at the decked/roof area, which has a fantastic view over the river, train station, and is lovely and cosy. We had wine and beer and found the staff to be very friendly and a warm atmosphere. Beer selection was great, and my wife enjoyed her wine. Can't say if the food is good as we just had a drink. Might pop in again, if for nothing else but to enjoy the view.

Lovely pub. Beautiful views. Kids play area nestled in the garden. Good was top notch too. A must visit!

Great location with views over the river. We were seated outside under a canopy on a bench table with no back, so not too comfortable. The food was fresh and delicious and service friendly and efficient.
