Had a wonderful evening in the pub & restaurant. The views over the ocean are spectacular and and a beautiful full moon and its reflection in the sea. The food was excellent and generous portions. The barman and waiter were busy at the start due to the rugby being on but were still very friendly and got our various orders correct. We loved that this is a community pub and were happy to support it. Please support it too as it’s lovely and friendly and we want it to do well and stick around for many years to come!

Friendly characterful pub in the village offering good food and fabulous view towards the sea. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

We were staying just up the road from this friendly watering hole and had a number of evening meals there during the week. This is a community run pub and only just finding its feet! The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a good selection of beers available. The menu was a bit sparse, but, even during the week we were there, it improved and a new chef was busy putting together a more extensive menu. We were very happy to do our little bit in supporting this new project and we wish them well for the future. Well worth a visit. 👍 🍺

The Quay
We are currently into about 2 months of a 3 month adventure from Australia to the Mediterranean, Europe and the UK and have numerous lovely meals. We have enjoyed meals on our cruise and lovely meals on our Coach tour however the best meals have been today down at the River Shack. Breakfast and Dinner tonight have been truly the best meals so far. Great work Mark. And the best coffee Sarah.

SlaptonAmazing Sunday roast - we tried the sirloin and the chicken. Delicious sides, meat, gravy, everything! Super cozy pub, tucked away - worth mentioning there’s no parking! :)

84 Fore StreetI work locally just a few doors down the road in a local opticians and frequent this lovely little cafe fairly often for lunch. I usually get a sandwich from their deli counter and they keep me coming back. I have tried a number of different options and none of them have disappointed. In the winter I especially like their soup of the day which is very well priced. I love the Mediterranean counter and often purchase a pot of Dolmades. If you're in the area I would recommend going here for lunch, you will be glad you did

3 Hillbrook Rd, TotnesDropped in for a quick lunch. Expensive for what it is. For example a small piece of frittata and a very small salad for nine ounces odd. Went home and had toast to supplement. Disappointing as had heard good things.

28 Western RoadBest pub in Ivybridge. Always gave Legend and Tribute plus an ever changing guest ale. Good atmosphere and seems to have a good rotation of regulars. Menu looks good though not tried it yet.
