This wonderful gem in Ivybridge is excellent they did a birthday party buffet for me in August nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious plenty of it and the gluten free and vegetarian clearly marked and good choices very one commented on how good it was. The staff are so helpful and atmosphere in the shop is so friendly highly recommend

I have used this sandwich shop many times as it is close to me, i have never once had a bad experience. The Tuna, sweetcorn and mayo panini, the ham salad and chicken salad baguettes are amazing. I am yet to try a salad box but i have been there when they have been making them and they do look good. Customer service is excellent and they often let me order, leave my shopping there while i have to grab something from another shop or chemist while they are making my lunch. Keep up the good work!

Just realised I've been going here on and off for the last 8/9 years so guess I should probably review haha. Lovely deli with friendly staff and a very nice selection of products, the wraps and baguettes (hot and cold) are personal favourites. Very much hope this store is around for a long time coming 🥰

Frequently call in. Lovely sandwiches, bread and selection of local produce. They also do an amazing Full English in a box which is amazing value for money.

Wow.. love this place.. these are one of them hidden gems. Amazing sandwiches which you can customize. Great value for money and the staff are so lovely.. delicious cakes too.. highly recommend a visit when passing through.

There’s ample choice for your freshly made baguette, etc. Includes lots of vegan options, too. Plenty of nearby places to sit and enjoy. Delightful staff.

Fabulous little sandwich and snack shop. Have a huge variety of hot and cold sarnies and will make them up freshly when ordering. A should out also for the great scotch eggs, the Florida salad box and the carrot cake :-)

Been coming to Country Maid for years on and off - whenever I am working in Ivybridge. They used to supply our work lunches and they were the best. I love the toasted baguettes and panini's, mozzarella pepperoni and devon fire chutney wins usually, but they used to do a beef and stilton as well which was incredible. do NOT miss the iced apple and sultana slice... sometimes I buy two just so I have one for the next day. Yummers.

Holidaying in the area, we decided to buy some ready made sandwiches for a trip to the beach. We were on our way to the local supermarket when we decided to have a look at the County Maid menu. We were sold! The only problem was what to choose from such an extensive choice. The prices were very reasonable too.

Worth A Good Bite To Eat If You Like A Sandwich I would say maybe a little more cannot be faulted in all fairness the food is amazing and the staff are friendly.

Country maid provided us with a buffet for 30 people. Everything was freshly made, well presented and delicious. It was delivered on time, covered and on platters. As far as they possibly could, local produce was used. Excellent service from a local company.

Every time I go here, twice a week at least, the sandwiches are so fresh and tasty. Nothing is a problem for them.

I picked up sandwiches, some pastries and cake to takeaway for lunch. Fresh and homemade, very tasty! Drinks and snacks too. Great established local business.

The food here is great as is the service . We often pop in to pick up lunch to take away. There are some seats to sit on in the summer.

Como residente de Ivybridge tuve mis padres ancianos desde Escocia para un descanso, mi madre quería comprar comida, pero por desgracia el caballero que parecía estar a cargo se negaron rotundamente jurídica divisa (notas escoceses)del Reino Unido, y advierto que estaba en la instrucción de la policía. He puesto en contacto con la policía y este no es el caso. Ir en su Pearl ... "pero si tienes cualquier sentido ... le dieras esquinazo" para lo que vale la pena pan estaba duro

The cafe smelled too much of cooked meat pies. The cakes etc are cheap but look and taste cheap too, unfortunately.
