Taylor Made Coffee Van in South Hams

SADLY I FOUND A HAIR IN MY CHOCOLATE BROWNIE. TOLD THE LADY IN THE CAFE WHO APOLOGISED AND SHRUGGED, BUT DIDN'T OFFER A REFUND OR A DIFFERENT PIECE OF CAKE. WON'T BOTHER TO EAT THERE AGAIN AS INCIDENT MADE FEEL SLIGHTLY NAUSEOUS.

Consistently good . Lovely bubbly social lady and always service with a smile . Makes my regular walks more enjoyable. .

I’m not much of a fan of roadside catering vans but this one is certainly a cut above. Lovely coffees and teas, the food produce is high quality and sourced locally wherever possible. The bacon roll and an Americano coffee were freshly prepared & very tasty and couple who own it were most pleasant. Definitely recommended.

I went for a walk at Avon damn today followed by the most amazing brownie I have ever had! Home baked by the lovely lady serving in this van. Not only was she very friendly and a welcome face at the end of a long walk but she home bakes and sells the best brownie I have ever had! And I’ve had a lot of brownies! After having my first one I went back for a second to take home. Thank you so much I will be back! ♥️

This is a great place to get a snack or drink. We parked up and walked to the Avon Dam. On our return the Taylor Made van had arrived. Very friendly owners who took an interest in our holiday and where we were from. Lovely, keenly priced coffee.

We visit here every year on our summer holidays and I have to say the walk with a coffee and cake at the end is delightful.

What a lovely treat having such a fabulous coffee van at the end of your walk - superb coffee & cake will definitely come back just for that!! Fab

On our first ever visit to Avon Dam we stumbled across this cute little coffee van. We ordered coffees, cakes and our little boy had a hot chocolate. Everything was amazing. The service is absolutely brilliant, the lovely pair that run this are so friendly, so smiley and just seem like the loveliest people. They always make the effort to speak to our little boy, and talk about their grandchildren. The cake is the best cake you will ever taste, so soft and so full of flavour; they are all homemade by the lovely lady, and the portions are massive! You can tell she is passionate about what she does! We have returned time and time again and even brought more family along with us. When we are thinking of somewhere to go for a walk, this is now top of our list purely because of the coffee van… keep doing what you are doing guys!! Why would you want to get coffee from any large companies when you can get it from lovely people like this who care so much about what they do!

Stopped off by chance and was delighted by the quality of the coffee and the bacon bap , really good and a really pleasant lady who provided us with such nice food and drink. I was pleasantly surprised and have gone back on several occasions

Best cakes we have had in ages, after a lovely walk to the dam and back, stopped for a very good coffee and amazing carrot cake. Well worth the calories!

After a walk up to the dam on a gorgeous day, I stopped for a coffee and bacon roll which were both great, whilst waiting I was tempted by their cakes so bought some for later and they were both amazing as well! You can park really close as well! There aren't too many places on Dartmoor you can finish a pleasant couple of hours walking on open moorland with great food and drinks before you get back into your car.

We stopped here for some coffee and cake and I can honestly say both were delicious. The coffee was some of the best coffee I have had in a long time and the cake was both delicious and huge - a winning combination :)

Wow what a find!! After a lovely long walk up to the dam it was cakes and coffee all round for the family. The cakes are truly delicious 😋 Such lovely people, so lovely to be served by such a smiley and friendly couple. Cant wait to revisit!!

Fantastic mobile coffee shop, excellent cakes and snacks run by a lovely lady who's got her partner under control (basically she's the boss 😉). Highly recommended and a great reward after a walk up to the Avon dam and back. Sit on one of their chairs or a rock and enjoy.

Stopped here for a tea and a mars-bar, a cold one out of the fridge, and enjoyed it sat on a rock beside the river. A car park, loos, seats, and catering, the perfect way to start, or finish, a walk over Dartmoor.

After an energetic walk what better than a good coffee, home made cake and service with a smile. If you want a cold drink, local ice cream, lunchtime snack or afternoon tea it's all here with the wonderful Dartmoor scenery all around you. Just sit back and drink in the view.
