Lovely position on the harbour front, a place to watch the world go by. Lovely breakfast, good coffee and excellent service.

Friendly staff. Had to wait for fresh pasties - no problem. Generous fillings. We had a traditional and a steak and Stilton. However, was disappointed. I threw mine away. Not enough Stilton. Pastry soggy on inside. Other half eats everything and he was disappointed in his too. We had such high hopes! We definitely prefer Looe Bakery.

What a great pub this is, we went on a Saturday night, they had live music a couple of lads called blackbird done all the covers you know, even the landlady done a number at the end. Bar staff were excellent, we were made to feel very welcome, the atmosphere was amazing. Thanks everyone at the fisherman's for a great evening 🥃🍻🍺🎶🎤🎸

This lovely little place has a lot of potential. So stylish and quaint. The staff are always polite and very accommodating. My favourite deal for £4.75 is the savoury cream tea (or a black coffee in my case). A choice of Davidstow cheese or blue cheese and walnut with a small pot of both apple and onion chutney is lovely. My only niggle is the freshness of the scones. This time they were a tad dry? Other than that I loved sitting on the high stool watching the world go by 🙂

We come to Looe every year for a family holiday. It's our family tradition to have a sweet treat from Sarah's Cakes. I don't know what's happened since last year but the quality of the products we bought were terrible. I personally got the lemon cake and it was unbelievably dry. My husband and our children couldn't finish theirs. For the price, you would expect alot more. I'm extremely disappointed.

I have been staying local to this pub for a few months - 2 or 3 nights at a time. Just happened to pop in when music was being played. Loved the local atmosphere and made welcome straight away. This is a no fuss pub with spotless on TV and friendly bar staff and locals. I will definitely be in again when I am in the area. It’s a pub - drink with friendly people and relax - it’s not complicated! ……!

We popped in for a pasty & were so pleased we did - they were absolutely delicious. So yummy that we tried the scones too. Equally delightful. Lovely place with delicious food - now our favourite bakery in Love.

Great pub sited in West Looe a return visit but was extremely disappointed to find no food available until early evening on what was a busy bank holiday.in Looe. Unfortunately had to find another pub close by to get much needed sustenance. Beautiful historic pub that was originally built in 1516 There are some interesting beams inside The Jolly. In 1588, the Spanish Armada fleet was attacked and shipwrecked off of the Coast of Cornwall. Some of those beams ended up in buildings around the town including The Jolly, the West Looe Church and The Smuggler's Cott. Extremely pleasant staff. Loved the layout and ambiance of this historic gem. Dog friendly establishment. Would recommend a visit but if visiting in the afternoon have food first as the time flies in this great pub / restaurant,
