We found this pub via the Camra website and were not disappointed. The front of the pub was a bit crowded but the kind barlady opened up a separate room down some steps to the right of the bar and put the lights on especially for us. This back room was comfortable and tastefully decorated with interesting paintings and flags. The pub is quiet, warm and friendly, well off the beaten track (Looe can get a bit crowded with tourists), and the drinks reasonably priced. When I asked for a diet coke the kind lady asked if I wanted a pint or half pint - not something I always get asked in a pub. We will certainly make a point of visiting the Fisherman's Arms the next time we are in Looe.

The fact that we had breakfast here every day of our holiday says it all. A small bakery with limited seating opposite a large pay for car park. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive on each of our 7 visits. The bacon rolls were very yummy, the Belgium buns Hugh and also yummy and prices very reasonable. Dog friendly too, whatâs not to love. We will definitely be back on our next trip

This lovely little place has a lot of potential. So stylish and quaint. The staff are always polite and very accommodating. My favourite deal for ÂŁ4.75 is the savoury cream tea (or a black coffee in my case). A choice of Davidstow cheese or blue cheese and walnut with a small pot of both apple and onion chutney is lovely. My only niggle is the freshness of the scones. This time they were a tad dry? Other than that I loved sitting on the high stool watching the world go by đ

Havenât been over this way for a few years now so decided to âpop inâ for a visit. Have to say, we werenât disappointed! What a lovely Sunday Roast. And plenty of it. But mainly itâs the setting we come to enjoy. A nice meal and a few pints whilst overlooking the beach and the sea. Whatâs not to like!!

Having held a fundraising âDinner Eventâ here recently, in aid of Cancer Research UK, we, at Relay for Life Liskeard, were supported and hosted diligently, by Zoe, Gary and their staff, who were ready to pull out all the stops for us. The meal was superb. The attention and attitude of the staff, exemplary and as a result, all attending, had a great night, and much needed funds were raised, for continued research into Cancer treatments. Not only are these hosts, excellent at what they do all year round, but they have an acute awareness of âcommunityâ and a genuine desire to support a good cause. Many sincere thanks from all of us who attended the event. We wish you ongoing success in your field.
