Delicous and cheap! Had crab and prawn sandwich 🥪 and latte

Ordered a Bacon and chicken pasty and BLT baguette and both were really poor. Clock cold pasty that tasted rank and the baguette looked under baked,really pale. The bacon was just little chopped ham like pieces and tasted disgusting. If you want a proper pasty, go to Sarah's further down the road. Shouldn't be allowed to sell rubbish like this.

The vegan sausage rolls are excellent and the price is great

Saved my bacon! Found ourselves out in Looe later than expected and have a small person who has sensory issues resulting in limited food she would eat. This amazing shop whipped her up a plain white bread bacon sandwich n a heartbeat. The staff were truly amazing, kind and caring and genuinely saved the day. I was literally in tears from their kindness. Little one loved her sandwich and said it was the best she had ever had and extra brownie points for it being cut into triangles! Great shop, wonderful staff and very tasty food.

Had large steak pastie x2 today. It was bit disappointing the taste was a bit bland like it had been frozen . On the positive side it was served hot .

I called here to get pasties for the family who were on the beach. I was standing at the counter for over five minutes without any of the members of staff even acknowledging my presence nevermind actually serving me. Not a problem, plenty more places to buy pasties in Looe.

When ever we come to looe we always come here to buy a nice pasty! They are to die for! Nice tasting pasty’s! We have also tryed their sweet selection their chocolate brownies are also very very nice! Had to get a couple to take back home! Very well priced nice friendly staff and good food!

They do lovely sandwiches and make up any ones that are not on the lists we had baguettes wraps and sandwiches on bread all great and tasty fillings. We bought pasties to take home because they do the best ones here , I would highly recommend

Had a large tradition Cornish pasty...the filling was tasty, but unfortunately the pasty crust was still raw in places

Purchased a large Steak and Ale pasty, very disappointed as I’ve had pasties from here in the past it was very bland and the meat was really chewy, don’t think I will return, standards seem to have dropped.

Wherever I go, love to enjoy the Cornish pastry. So here I am again. Staff and service is ok but I like more the delicious pastry.

Really nice food, good coffee, can be queues but service is usually fast just an all round good place for a bite to eat.

We’ve tried a lot of traditional pasties around the area and these so far are the best! A good amount of peppery steak with equal amounts of potato and suede. Great stuff too.

Excellent as always. Great service with top quality coffees, pastries and such. The hard working team keeps everything clean and tidy too.

Bought pasties for picnic. Also bought some from Sarah's. The bakehouse were 1/3rd less weight and cost £1 more. The difference in quality is indistinguishable. This place is a rip-off - go to Sarah's.

Lovely pasties, bit expensive really considering other places are over 1.50 cheaper and equally tasty Still nice the day after in the oven gas 5 for 25 mins. Extra gravy required though.

My husband had the extra large steak and ale Cornish pasty (it was huge and tasted so good)… and I had the Cornish crab sandwich (best sandwich I’ve ever had). If we ever return to Looe we will eat here again. Great food!

Whenever we visit cornwall for a holiday this is the only place i will buy a pastie from. A perfect amount of filling, not greasy and beautiful light pastry. They come in different sizes too small for the kids is more than enough and a large for me fills me for hours.

Had a couple of Cornish pasty’s from here during our visit last week and found them lovely, nice and hot and tasty ingredients. Beware though they are so popular they run out late afternoon.

Excellent selection of pasties, panini's and baguettes, they also have giant meringues along with a variety of other sweet treats too which all looked delicious, quick and friendly service, depending what you order they will give you some items to start with that they have in the counters and then you will be asked to wait by the side of the shop for the rest of your order we waited for a panini' and baguette, the food was delicious, I would recommend going here if your in the area

Visited on Sunday in August, ordered a bacon roll and some other food. Hot bacon had finished but the guy making the rolls offered to microwave is for me. Rolls were filled to the brim, you will not go hungry!!

Ordered 5 baguette from the young red headed guy with the best smile in Cornwall. I’ve had plenty of food out this week while on holiday but this takeaway was the best. Wonderful service lovely friendly staff and tastiest food would recommend and would use again x

Second time visiting this bakehouse today. First time was amazing with no complaints whatsoever. However, today I found the young man serving quite rude and abrupt. He had no customer service abilities and no hello or thank you. What happened to manners?

Was there this morning in Colchester and the customer service was so rude and stupid. Went there to buy pastries and had the great shock of my life. Was racist and very rude, won’ like to go there again.company should employ people who have the right skill to do business and treat customer well. Spoke to me rudely without any reason. So shameful.

The best cheese and onion pasty in looe ! I buy at least two a day when visiting Cornwall! I always preordained to take home 12 too. Vegetable pasty is also good I just personally prefer cheese and onion

Ordered a sweet chilli chicken baguette. It was a shame it was just small pieces of chicken with a basic salad covered in a sweet chilli sauce that clearly came out of a bottle. It wasn't bad, but was no different to buying basic chicken pieces, adding a sauce from supermarket and some iceberg and cucumber. Chilli sauce was very uniform. No flecks of chilli at all.

The chicken pasty was very tasty, hot and fresh. The apple cake slices in the window were absolutely divine. Worth a return trip to take some back home! We would have liked some filling on the panini as there was hardly any (in particular the pepperoni & jalapeño) but the sauce was tasty so it wasn’t lacking in flavour. Overall a great pasty shop.

Went twice over the weekend , bbq pork baguette was amazing and my little one loved her cake and sausage role . The staff were extra friendly

Went here today for lunch with my Mum and Dad. Great location in the heart of Looe town centre with great food (I had the chilli chicken and salad sandwich and a cherry bakewell tart) and friendly and professional staff. The hot chocolate and tea are lovely too! Highly recommended!

A lot of good looking bakery stuff but the pastery was not warm enough!

Pasty was lovely and hot. Asked for cheese and onion, being pregnant and wanting onion to find it didn’t have any in was disappointing to say the least. It was cheese and potato but still enjoyed it.

We purchased 3 "hot" pasties or thought they were hot until we bit into them, it was only then we discovered they were luke warm at best, I spoke to the sales assistant and asked if they could be replaced, she then pointed out that we had bitten them, how does she think we knew they were cold, she took them off us and reheated them in a microwave, not the best idea, she returned them to us with no apology, turned and went back behind the counter, if we hadn't bitten them would they have merely been put back on the shelf?

They gave us the wrong pasties, I asked 3 times for vegan pasties, I checked with her a she put them in the bags too, then asked finally again "So that's 3 vegan pasties and a bottle of water. yes?". Got to start eating them, not vegan at all, got cheese in them, Queue to take them back, manager asked where the other one is, I tell him thrown away so he will only refund one. No apology, not sense of customer service or the health and ethical implications of that level of carelessness when handling foods, Never to be trusted, No wonder people get all Karen on these types lazy clueless idiots.

As much as they have a great vegan and veggie selection of pasties, I was disappointed that they no longer seemed to offer the vegan pasty? Maybe I was unlucky each time I asked. I opted instead for a cheese, sweet corn and broccoli. An odd combo that was tasteless and bland.

Always a queue and when you see a queue Usually means good food and in this case Really is worth the wait.So go queue and write a REVIEW.

It's a small shop that sells different flavours of Cornish paste. I had their Hot Chocolate drink which I must say was the best I've had in Looe. I would recommend a trip here if you are visiting the town.

We picked up some lunch from here and sat above the beach in the sun! I had a lamb and mint which was ok but there seemed to be more potato than anything else. My partner had a steak and stilton pasty and said it...

Forget the pasties. The strawberry and rhubarb cake was gorgeous. Moist, melt in the mouth heaven. I would happily eat it every day but live a 4 hour drive away. Please open a shop in Portsmouth.

My husband popped into the shop to get some cakes. He qued up and when he was next to be served he was just ignored. The staff just continued to chat to one another. Eventually my husband got someone's attention he asked for a 'raspberry...

tried steak pasties recently even though we paid £4.50 (extortionate) they weren't even that nice...wouldn't go again

Decided to have a fish and chips free day. The Grandaughters had a pasty and also a large sausage roll, but I went for the heavy Looe cake ( very filling ) we all enjoyed the change and certainly recommend this pasty shop.

I visit this shop every year the pasties are always to standard. Coming down from stoke excited to have one with the family but to our disappointment none of the staff was wearing face coverings. During the pandemic I think this is disgusting as the staff aren’t distancing from each other and are working around food. We all had to redirect to the Cornish bakery as they were responsible and wore face shields. I must say I won’t be visiting here in the near future!!! Such a shame.

Very nice food. Had a traditional Cornish pasty, Chicken Thai Red curry pasty, beef and Stilton pasty and two Chocolate Brownies. Food was delicious and served by very friendly staff, will be back for more!

If ordering anything make sure you ask them to warm it up because apparently that isn’t just common sense, if you want a pasty from this shop you’ll need good credit score because you’ll have to take out a loan something like £5 for a...

You can basically choose what you want from the menu and then pick and choose what you want in the baguette, very helpful and friendly staff.

Pasty was way over priced and average. Not much flavour and cold. Shame as it states Cornwall Bakehouse, you would think they would be good.

Love this bakery we visit every time we go to Looe. The steak pasties are amazing, my son loves the cheese and onion, and my other son the sausage rolls. They accept card and cash. Definitely worth a visit just for the pasties 👌

Lamb and mint pasty Delicious as are all items.baguettes are tasty to.😁sausage rolls better than Greg's.lol but we had something different every day and no complaints.

A short review- it’s a pasty shop. But as they go, we don’t know any better. Long queues tell you everything you need to know. Keep the service and standards up, guys- you do yourselves proud.

Called in here yesterday for takeaway lunch. It has been refurbed since I last bought from it and I was impressed with the layout and choices on offer. I like the fact there was a small pasty option for my youngest and I was able to buy a vegan sausage roll and a regular sausage roll for £2! Bargain. Will shop here again. Vegan roll was lush.

Bought both as takeaways and there were lovely, fresh and hot and reasonable price. Well worth a visit !

The Cornish Bakehouse has all different pasties in various sizes swell a great sandwich and baguette selection sop plenty of choices.

A wide range of pasties to choose from. Obviously there are traditional Cornish pasties, but there are also a wide selection with different fillings to choose from. All of which are baked in house. My favorite is the chicken, bacon and chorizo pasty!

One of, if not the best Cornish pasties i have ever had, absolutely huge as well to enjoy even more. would defo recommend this place. Even had a good laugh on Friday evening as well when one of the staff or owner where cleaning the shelves in the window at the end of the day and lent too far forward and banged her head off the window just as we were walking by. She was hoping nobody seen it but she saw the funny side when she noticed we saw and laughed it off.

I've always though that the pasties in Hayle were the best I have tasted, but now these are the best ever. Full of steak with swede for a wonderful taste. good service.

We visit Cornwall every year for our 2 week summer holiday and as Looe is the nearest beach, we visit quite a lot. The Cornish Bakehouse has always been my favourite pasty shop doing the tastiest pasties in Cornwall. However, I bought a pasty from here on the last day of my holiday this year and I could not have been more disappointed. The pasty was barely warm and it didn't feel cooked properly when I was eating it as the veg still seemed hard in places and it felt cold. Incredibly disappointing and I don't think I'll be back next year :-(

Highly reccomend to anyone that's passing through looe, the prices are a little high but i wouldn't mind paying it for good food

On holiday in Looe, called in for a couple of traditional pasties and sausage rolls. Queue was out of the door (good sign), piping hot, plenty of filling and well priced!

Again I go to the bakehouse just before I go home where I ordered day before which was 9th of August my two boys of pasties and my wife collected them and brilliantly left me with the see u next year feeling I cannot fault the staff in anyway I recommend this place very highly they are always busy let's make them more busy go and get their pasties staff are never rude and they leave u with a smile on your face I'm going back next year I reviewed this place last year and it's the best thank you to all the staff hope to see u all next year from Chris

We had the traditional steak Cornish pasties which we had been told were the best we'd ever taste... we weren't disappointed they were to die for!

Not a pasty fan but I had a Thai chicken one and it was lovely also had a little Italian cannoli pastry which was a bit hard.

I wanted to try a proper cornish pasty and for my children to have one too and this place had the longest queue so I figured that it must be good. The queue was long! My son wasn't keen on a pasty so I was going to get him a jacket potato but they'd run out. Their pasties came in lots of different flavours but we just had the standard ones. It was quite nice but nothing to write home about. The meringues were absolutely delicious though and very tasty.

Bought some really lovely crab and prawn sandwiches today from this shop to have a picnic on the beach . Really tasty and full of filling !

Had a pasty 4 days out of 7 all from Looe. this is the best place in our humble opinion and will definitely bring the family back her if in the area again.

Good variety of pasties, sandwiches, wraps etc pasties are not my favourite in Looe but my partner likes the lamb and mint ones, I normally go for a wrap or sandwich which is always pretty good.

Always have a pasty here when visiting Looe. Very tasty and not bad price compared to others in Looe. Definitely worth a try. They do charge extra to eat in.
