have stopped at this cafe several times now, always good service and value for money cooked food. plenty of parking and dog friendly.

Great breakfast well worth the money & kid friendly

A stopover on the way to Padstow with good accomodation and an equally excellent evening meal

Visited for the first time with family members including a baby. Was shown to a table that was dirty and food on the floor despite the restaurant being nearly empty. It was wiped as we sat down. Was provided with a high chair that the buckle was broken so couldn’t strap my baby in securely. When trying to order, I explained I had a dairy allergy. Staff were extremely unhelpful and made me feel uncomfortable for asking for a dairy free meal. The waitress was rude and got another member of staff when I asked about ingredients. When the food arrived it was mediocre. Very greasy chips. A five star food hygiene rating is advised therefore they should have an allergen list! Avoid if you have allergies!

We went for lunch and had the ham, egg and chips, they were absolutely delicious, lovely thick ham and the very good chips lived up to their name. Friendly service, very enjoyable!

Amazing Sunday carvery as normal, we visit every year & are never disappointed, Portions are so generous & food so tasty, just wish we lived closer to be able to visit more than once a year

Excellent quality food Worth a visit

Very disappointed with our visit to this restaurant. Greeted by a very rude and obnoxious waitress. My partner very politely asked for a cider advertised on the wall to be very abruptly told “we don’t do that cider” with a sulky face and was made to feel very small. The way she spoke to us was just shameful. Slopping around in a skirt that was too tight for her barely holding up her tights( good job she didn’t bend over- we would of seen her knickers if she had any on)We did complain about how we were spoken to and treated , as it just spoilt our experience! We have both ,over the years worked in pubs and restaurants and actually my partner used to own the halfway house pub in the 90s! We ended up sitting there in silence the rest of our meal, really seething and asking ourselves what we had done to be spoken to like that! It was our last nice day out together before our baby arrives! Turned out the food was all we thought it was going to be either and it was a pile of grease to be honest! Won’t be coming back

It's a very nice place to stop for food they also sell alcohol if you fancy it. There is a garden centre with some original different items and doggy shop for your best friend 🐶

Visited here for both lunch and brekky the next day as we were staying near by. We sat outside. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Decent coffee. Overall excellent place for lunch and also a Potter round the shop.

On holiday in Cornwall and on our travels we found Treviskers kitchen/ garden centre . After a look around the garden centre we decided to have lunch there! It was the nicest , ham , eggs and chips we have had in a long time. Everything lovely and fresh and delicious! The girls there were so nice and friendly too. Thank you all 🤗

Nice sunday lunch meat was superb and the chilli potatoes were amazing i could eat them all day however some of the other veg like the cauliflower was a little too hard for my personal taste. Over all though quite tasty.

The worst sunday dinner I have ever had. The turkey was dry as a bone and the beef the wife had more chance chewing through leather. The cauliflower cheese I could not cut with I knife because it was so raw it was like they had just poured sauce over it. The wife had only just finished her meal and the fork had just touched the plate when they came over and said are you done. At £19 each never again

Stopped here for breakfast. We chose the full english, which was delicious. We were served very quickly, the staff were friendly and we would definitely visit again. They are also dog friendly which is a bonus.

stopped off for Sunday Lunch, the restaurant was busy but was found a table, most were having Carvery so we joined in. At £18 per head it seemed a little expensive but not when you saw the amount of meat on your plate, beef, turkey, pork and ham and lots of it. Large variety of veg, Yorkshire puds etc. The waiting staff looked young but were excellent, the place was clean and tidy.

We visited Trevisker on Easter Sunday (our second visit after a trip with family at Christmas). The carvery was incredible! Very tasty and plenty on offer. 4 kinds of meat to choose from as well as lots of veggies. Even the fussiest eater could find something to enjoy. I particularly enjoyed the pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese. Drink options were great, my husband was pleased they had Cold River on the menu. We had sticky toffee pudding for dessert and it was mouth-wateringly good! We shall definitely be back for another visit.

I don’t know if this was a special occasion, being Easter Sunday and all, but omg the carvery here is just incredible. Let me list everything you can have from the buffet. Yorkshire pud, big roast potatoes, small roast potatoes with herb stuff sprinkled on, peas and carrots, parsnips, some sort of purpley cabbagey stuff, mashed swede, stuffing, cauliflower cheese, normal shredded cabbage done in butter, then for the meat eaters there’s little sausages, roast pork, lamb, beef and chicken, plus gravy, apple sauce, mint sauce, mustard etc, and for vegans you can switch the meat out for nut roast and vegan gravy. Not bad, not bloody bad!! And the staff are really friendly too. We won’t need supper, we are properly stuffed. Thank you for your generous portions and generous spirit, Trevisker!

Bubble and squeek superb . Promptly served good bar . A little too open for our party but that's a personal thing . High price point for lunch imagine would be better for evening meal prices . Will go again to see if as good within the year

Went for lunch. I ordered chicken, ham + leek pie. I did not get a pie but a ‘floating crust’. The filling was barely warm and the crust was puff pastry which when you tried to cut into it just disintegrated into a pile of crumbs which you couldn’t even get to sit on your fork to eat! Along with the chicken, ham + leek there were little silverskin onions in the filling which tasted vinegary. It was served with chips which were ok and warm cabbage which was ok. Not a great experience really, a waste of money and a disappointment.

a cozy place for stop over! tried hot chocolate, taste is not too bad but can improve. nevertheless, i can highlight the drink was serve hot enough to make me feel warm.

What a welcome! We were made very much at home and the dogs were offered water as soon as we arrived. A fantastic cream tea and amazing vegan chocolate cake. Revived us after our long walk. We will visit again. Thank you ☺️

Outstanding welcome very personable staff. Cream tea large enough to share with my brother very ample portions but should consider quality jam form say Boddingtons. Wonderful (I am told) Vegan chocolate cake. Everything was clean and tidy. It was the end of their day and the kitchen floor was clearly being give a very through clean.

What a great find this place was. Stopped here for a bit of Lunch and wasn’t disappointed. Had the fish and chips and the goan fish curry. Both were lovely and very tasty. Star of the show were the mushy peas.

Plants were great. Pet shop great. Clothes shop untidy nothing folded away again. Went for hot choc n cake. Very strange smell in the cafe a bit like off chip fat. Place looked tired and unclean. Lights over counter filthy. Lampshades covered in fly dirt.

We were looking for somewhere to eat on way back from Wadebridge and stumbled upon this garden centre. We arrived at 12pm and there was a queue of people waiting for tables both reserved and not. We had the dog so were a little worried we would not get in, however, we were seated in the last unreserved table. The set up is you pay for your food and are given a ticket to then go to the carvery and get your food, drinks are brought to the table. The food was amazing and a brilliant selection of meat (beef, pork, gammon and turkey) and so many vegetables. Puddings were also very good. It was slightly on the pricey side but you got a very good meal for your money. Would recommend.

Stopped in for Breakfast after the staff at the Halfway House Inn told us about it, and as we had a great meal the night before we thought we would give the Treviskers Cafe a go before a day in Padstow. Once again we were not disappointed, generous portions, good value and a very friendly welcome!

Really good service out of season, but a little slow when busy.

A disappointing meal today, nothing like the Treviskers we knew and loved. We ordered a bowl of chips to accompany our fish gougons and salad. The half cooked sorry looking offering was positively disgusting.

WOW WOW WOW!!! Eat before padstow trip - ample free parking!! Forget the standard menu - there is an amazing chef who is starting to showcase his talent with special board menus! Herb crusted pan fried bass was soooooo delicious - roasted carrots,new pots, samphire and cream sauce. Luckily for us we live in Cornwall so we will be back very soon!

Seems a little grubby, though very busy at the time, crockery, glasses etc not very clean. Toilets needed a good regular scrub. Food was OK and staff friendly, but I'm not inspired to come back.

Sausage and mash with gravy swimming in grease £14 , I didn’t eat it and told the waitress, she then told the ‘chef’ I doubt he was to be honest , his reply was ‘ the gravy is made with meat juice ‘ well I skim off any grease when I use meat juice and so would any other person Of course this must be too time consuming so it’s served up , yuk !! My advice to prospective customers is don’t stop here , keep driving and find somewhere else

Absolutely shambolic avoid at all costs arrived on a normal Monday around 1100 ordered 5 coffees and 3 slices of cake staff were very angry and rude extremely bad atmosphere didn’t feel comfortable, waited over 45 minutes and had to ask where the order was...

Really fantastic full English. Good coffee . Pleasant friendly and quick service -very dog friendly too. Lots of interesting shops in this small complex of retail outlets . Easy parking. I don’t understand the spate of bad reviews I’ve just read. I’ll be back when I’m next in the area for sure.

Waited over 30 minutes for cake and coffee although one family member’s toasted teacake turned up right away. Coffee wasn’t very warm and no glass supplied with a bottle of juice. Very short staffed and very unfriendly staff, will not be going back.

Disappointing visit today. Long wait to be seated. Advertised as “very dog friendly” but one of our dogs quickly became stressed by the noise of cutlery being clattered around in the restaurant area by a gentleman throwing it into drawers. This continued throughout our visit. With dogs returned to the car, I had to ask for glasses for our drinks and there was a long wait for food. Others had complaints too. After raising concerns, part of our order appeared. One incorrect meal had to be returned. Vegetables were scarce in the roasted pveg panini.
