We popped in for a pasty & were so pleased we did - they were absolutely delicious. So yummy that we tried the scones too. Equally delightful. Lovely place with delicious food - now our favourite bakery in Love.

On Saturday morning we popped in to buy a few things and were extremely disappointed , especially after asking about the freshness of the products meaning was it baked this morning and being told yes and coming back to our lodge to find that 90% of the goods were at least a day old and 10% two days ... I understand that foods have a 3day shelf life but not in a bakery, at least the woman serving gets 100% for lying thru her teeth about the freshness ... my recommendation stay away from this place and try some of the other bakeries in the area

Called in for a couple of sausage rolls WOW how expensive approx £5 for two and they were poor and didn't even taste fresh. It's out of order charging these prices for something that costs you very little to make. I understand you have to make a profit but do you need to fleece customers! I won't be calling again that's for sure

Better Cornish pasties from the supermarket…. Nothing special at all - wouldn’t return + way too expensive. Also not sure if some of the bakery items are bought in - in particular the Bakewells? Looks great from the outside but wish I’d checked reviews on here!

I’m absolutely disgusted!!! Me and my family were looking at which cakes to buy and 2 young ladies one brunette and one blonde were fingering the pastries and cakes. Prodding them all around. We even saw one of them pick a small bit off of the carrot cake and eat it.The ones on display are used and served you would expect to have sanitary and hygiene across all sections. If the standards are set like this I’m appalled. Eating parts of the cake !! Vile 3:15 pm Thursday 6th July!

Called in to the bakery just after opening time to get pasties to take back to London. The café and shop were crowded, always a good sign. After waiting in line we bought four pasties to take away, Pork and Apple, Traditional, lamb and a savoury. They were quite flavoursome. The pastry was good but tended to dominate the filling. Good satisfying food on a cold day when you are hungry. £18.40 for four fresh pasties seemed reasonable.

Really disappointed and frankly upset. Bought two pasties in here earlier. Discovered that they were not the usual golden brown that you would expect in Cornwall (I’m Cornish, I know what a proper pasty is). It was pale, doughy and barely cooked. When I went in to the shop to request a refund I was told very rudely that I wouldn’t be given my money back as there was “nothing wrong with them and they’re all the same”. I’m not one to complain, but the customer service and pasty were both vile. £7 isn’t much money to some, but to be refused our money back was disgusting. Would NOT recommend.
