Lovely cafe offering a good selection of breakfast, lunch and snacks. I a crab sandwich roll today and it was delicious 😋 My family also enjoyed fish & chips here 👍🏻

A superb cafe a few metres from Michael's Mount causeway. Perfect for that pre crossing coffee and cake. Or a nice breakfast. Lovely staff and great coffee.

Blah blah! Very poor quality/price ratio. The fish and chips are ok. The pasties are not good. And above all, keep in mind that the prices are 25 to 50% more expensive (depending on the dish) than the prices displayed on the blackboard at the place where you order if you decide to eat there. You will be told that It is written on the slate displayed on the wall of the downstairs room. But hey, it's not written on the menus that are on the tables. And a tip: write it legibly on the slates at reception, behind the counter. All you need to do is make 2 price columns: “to take away” and “on site”. This will prevent people from asking you where the surcharge on the bill comes from, which also seemed to annoy the young man at the checkout. In short, £45 (so €50) for 1 fish and chips, 1 pasty, a plate of fries/beans and 2 ciders, considering the quality it's very expensive.

Welcoming staff, great ambiance and the place looks cozy and cute. Had some coffee, tea and scones with jam & clotted cream.

Not happy as we called by at 5pm on Friday afternoon for fish and chips to take away and we're turned away, saying only pastie and chips..... 1 hour before closing discusting!!!! Where is the service now days .... I work in this industry......

A lovely café which had been at Marazion for years but is modern. Great cakes and sandwiches.

Although the very young staff were trying their best the service was extremely slow, the cup of tea came promptly but the scones jam and cream which make a cream tea followed some 30 minutes later with no apologies,which spoilt the cream tea experience.

The most plain fish and chips ever. Literally didn’t taste like anything. Did takeaway and they didn’t provide any sauce or ketchup at all. I wouldn’t bother.

Nice stop off on the way to St Michael's Mount. Just a couple of minutes walk from beach. Ordered two bacon baps lovely cooked bacon on lovely toasted buttered brioche buns. I had a nice black coffee, and we ordered a hot chocolate that's topped with whipped cream and marshmallows. Nice clean cafe with toilets. Very friendly staff and perfectly positioned before that big walk to the mount. Well stocked menu with lots of food and treats.

Decent food, spend about £70 here on breakfast for a number of folk. Not the best accessibility for prams, almost impossible/non inclusive for those in wheelchairs. Food was good so can't grumble. Service was poor, got spoken to quite badly from one of the team as the kitchen (and myself) made a mistake. They delivered the wrong items and they were kicking off over a piece of bread. Food was decent but wouldn't head back for that. But likely you'll get a better experience so don't let this review put you off. Pram couldn't get upstairs but photos look like we missed out it looks good up there Vs basic cafe downstairs.

The “chips” aren’t the expected chip shop chips but kebab shop fries… for £4.50.

Whilst our ham and cheese, and falafel ciabattas were nice, we felt it was extremely expensive for what was just a sandwich. Felt like some crisps or salad should accompany it for £8.95 each. Our son had a kids lunchbox for £5.50 which consisted of a cheese sandwich (not even wrapped just put straight into the cardboard box - seriously just give a plate if people are eating in), a pack of hula hoops, a small carton of juice and one slice (yes you read that correctly) of apple. To not even include a whole apple is beyond stingy, and when we questioned the waitress about it, she said she would check. She came back up but totally ignored us, either out of embarrassment or didn't want to deal with us. I wouldn't have caused any issues, I was just entirely curious as I thought that was just laughable!! Not worth it and wouldn't recommend.

The view is excellent, food is nice. But…order came incorrect. The service after we claimed the error was really poor - girl almost dropped food on the table with angry expression.

Got two scones to takeaway from here. Plus points - fresh, warm scones which tasted great. Cons - only one small jam package and clotted cream provided. Jam only enough for one scone! Couldn't be bothered going back to get more having walked a fair distance. A little reminder to self to check the box before you leave!

Excellent takeaway sandwich - seating was full at lunchtime but we were able to take away with about a 5 minute wait. Very good, tasty, filling, would recommend.

The food was delicious but a little expensive for the portion size. The falafel salad bowl had 3 pieces of falafel costing £15. A portion of fish and chips was also £15.

What a pity the owners are completely ignoring the comments on this site. This perfectly positioned cafe, seconds from the beach is a disappointment t. On entering the building everything looks superficially ok with white walls. a large blackboard with chalk written dishes but look a bit deeper and you will see waitresses behind the counter chewing. sultry and disinterested servers, a tatty carpet leading to the toilets on the first floor and speaking of which are way below par . The too area needs painting and renovating , the sink doesn’t empty and has sa d in it. The whole of the top floor needs redoing and part of the wall is deteriorating. On a beautiful warm day as was our visit this place should have been full but wasn’t- now we understand d why- sadly😩

We called here on our way to the castle. I got a drink and a ham and cheese sandwich. My daughter got a drink and a sausage sandwich. There was only one sausage inside the bap ( loads of bread with one small sausage cut into two.) we went back inside to ask if this was correct as it was £5.50 they said yes you only get one sausage they are good quality tho. This cost me £18.45 for two sandwiches and two drinks. I think this is a ridiculous amount for what we got. We won't be going back again. They didn't seem bothered and not very friendly either.

Had Cornish pasty that was dry and the crust was so hard . Cheesy chips had very little cheese on them . Overall food was overcooked and dry would not recommend

We called in to get a takeaway sandwich which was very nice. It was busy so had to wait about 20mins.

Ordered a sausage butty for £5.50 and when it came it was only 1 sausage cut into 4 and a small bun, for £5.50 I would expect it's do be double the size. Plus it stunk of feet inside

We had an excellent beef pasty and a cream tea. Delicious tea and warm scones. Great views of St. Michael's Mount from the second floor windows.

Awful coffee. Barista untrained and unbelievable lack of attention during preparation (please, at least, purge, clean the basket of the portafilter and do not oversteam the milk) Very common selection of commercial cakes. Not particularly good prices. The only positive thing is the location.

Had a couple nice lunches here. Drinks are nice as is the food, reasonable prices. Not a massive menu but good options available. Lovely view from the upstairs seating area.

Had sandwich and a cream tea. Had to ask a few times for missing items but didn't realise till we left that the sandwich had come without the stated slaw and rocket.

We came for lunch after visiting St Michaels Mount and were very impressed. Lovely views, delicious fresh crab and great service. The staff were so friendly towards our 2 kids under 3 😁

Amazing Breakfast... Amazing View. Quality ingredients, cooked beautifully and tasted fantastic. Very reasonably priced considering the quality of food. Great service front of house and kitchen went the extra mile serving breakfast after 11:30am cut-off time. Will be back again for sure! Keep up the great work guys... 👌🏻😎

Very rude woman assuming owner, we left due to poor service. Place over priced, not much selection on menu and very dated and run down, tables could do with a wipe down. Much better places to go with nicer staff

We ordered in a rush as close to 11.30 and breakfast was stopping. Didn't notice it was £6.50 for 2 fried eggs and 2 slices of standard white sliced supermarket bread!

The atmosphere is fine..but bit noisy because it is very closer to the road.the staff is friendly. Also they are giving the very big portion of food. However, the cream tea option is not good as i expected because it didn't taste that much. The sandwiches are fine.

TERRIBLY RUDE & INDIFFERNT CUSTOMER SERVICE We went for lunch, ordered fish and chips and ordered pasty to take-away in advance to save time as we were in rush. However, we were told that only after paying for lunch, they could put pasty in oven!! We were eating lunch, hence, no one is going to run away without paying. I ate quickly and paid for lunch + pasty and asked me to go outside and wait for it while my family is still upstairs, not finished yet. I was told that it is different price for eat-in and take-away!! DO NOT BOTHER - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, PRICY AND NOT VERY GOOD FOODS EITHER. There are plenty of restuarants at town-center/ near train- station, right on the beach.

I recently dined at Chapel Rock Cafe and ordered 3 sandwiches, 3 drinks, and a kids meal. The total cost was £32, which I found a tad high. However, the quality of the sandwiches was impressive and made up for it. I did encounter a small hiccup when I asked for two 'just cheese' sandwiches, as the staff had to check. But apart from that, the food was excellent and enjoyable.

We had early dinner at Chapel rock. The Cornish past was delicious and service was so good.

Disappointing.... Re-heated pasty! We stopped for a pasty after walking part of the coast path from Praa Sands. Ordered 2 pasties, a caramel slice and a bottle of water as takeaway which came to just under £14. We were given an order number and asked to wait for our food outside which was a bit strange as they were all grab and go items. I took one bite of the pasty and immediately returned inside to request my money back. It was soggy and had quite clearly been re-heated. To me, it tasted and felt as though it had been microwaved but the girl who was serving quite openly said that they bake them off in the morning and reheat them as they're ordered in the pizza oven. It was soggy and had no bite to the pastry. I was refunded as requested and the girl serving was polite and pleasant to deal with. You absolutely need a heated pastry cabinet!

Food was good customer service wasn’t great staff just looked acted like they was bored and didn’t want to be there not a single smile.

Please check you bill as the prices on display are not what you will be charged and when you bring to the attention of the staff they take no action. maybe this is because the staff are young and no one is in charge. Perhaps you should try somewhere else although choice is limited in Marazion.

Train your staff with basic customer skills, upon arrival there was no greeting and when asked we were told there were no available table for 6. To the contrary, there was ample seating upstairs, would be nice to be advised why if not in use. We were told to help ourselves to the sauces, which was in the restaurant’s mantle on the other side of the restaurant - how on earth do you expect people to walk into a busy restaurant when you are “full”. An absolute pisstake, fish and chips were atrocious with a whim size for a fish and chips were not your standard chippy chips. Save your money and go to Tudor’s a min walk from here.

A super friendly cafe. We visited 2 years ago and came back this year with our dog. The team were so hospitable and welcoming. I definitely recommend this as a nice short stay for coffee or a light lunch.

We saw the rain coming in before we ventured out towards St. Michaels Mount so we came into this cafe to take shelter. We ordered a few hot drinks and breakfast sarnies. (See pictures attached) Sausages were curly and strange but tasted ok. Views from the cafe are ok, and the place inside was ok. A standard cafe that does the job.

Disappointing! Ordered a chicken and bacon sandwich on Italian bread and asked if we could leave the bacon off (this is how it was listed on the menu) as just wanted a chicken mayo sandwich and a bottle of Lipton iced tea. We were then asked to wait outside despite it drizzling and nobody else waiting at the counter which felt a little odd and rude. The staff are really blunt and disengaged so make you feel unwelcome from the moment you enter. We waited around 10 minutes for the order which then turned up wrong. We were offered another sandwich but didn't want to wait another 10 minutes outside in the rain so took the sandwich as it was. The food was bland and over priced. I expect to pay more in tourist hotspots but paying around £3 for a Lipton ice tea that Costs around £1 is just pure profiteering imho. I like to support local businesses when on holiday but when you are made to feel unwelcome and ripped off then I won't be visiting again.

Been here in previous year's.Lovely place.Views from upstairs are fabulous.I had a dog with me this year so sat downstairs.Ordered food at the counter and was brought my food and drink very quickly.I had a ciabata roll with cheese and chutney, very tasty.Followed by a piece of delicious coffee cake and a pot of tea.😋My family joined me and agreed the food was lovely. Child and dog friendly 😊🐶The young staff serving were very friendly and helpful, and I left a tip.I am shocked by the people giving 1 stars. Would highly recommend this place 😍 May 2023

As Cornwall tends to close up shops and roll up the streets at 4pm this cafe gets stars as they are open until 6pm. HURRAH!! Food, pasties, cakes are good. Service is seldom with a smile but obviously it depends on who serves you. You'll need to go to the cash register to order and pay which is by the door, but do have your table number. Crab is good (mix of white and brown crab) but definitely not white meat nor stated on menu so took a chance. Sit upstairs as the views over Saint Michael's Mount from I think all tables is magnificent. Moomaid ice cream so another good point!! We are repeat diners here and still appreciate.

On the whole it is a lovely place with delicious food, friendly staff, fresh interior and a happy feel. We had breakfast and it was delicious and properly cooked. Service was excellent and young staff there were chatty and helpful. There were plenty of seating and had a lovely feel to the place when one get in. Also, it is conveniently located if you have St Michael's mount visit planned as very close proximity to couple of car parking, also close to most of the boat /visitor pick up spots. Please mind that there are few colour coded points where the boat arrives and are dependent on the tide level. It's worth finding out your correct location in advance!

Cornish pasty was undercooked raw pastry and rubbery like it had been microwaved and very overpriced worst Cornish pasty in Cornwall

Perfect place for a little pit stop after visiting the island, we first got my little girl a kid's box which was good value for money we then went back for some sandwiches (crab, chicken, bacon & mayo and ham cheese & cider chutney) all of which were delicious made even better sitting on the beach with a bit of sunshine!

Really nice cafe with some decent views of st Michael from the top, the food was good, the milkshake was so delicious, centred in an ideal Location, the service was impeccable and the food and drinks delivered in a good time, it really made the start of our day a lot better, the toast 🤤

Food and coffee were very pleasant, but sandwich/food was overpriced. Ciabatta, pannini style roll with filling for £7.50. Would have been nice to have a side of crisps or salad at a minimum. Cheese and chutney sandwich also came with cheap, grated cheese which for the price was underwhelming. As I say, it was still tasty but were left underwhelmed. Coffees were nice after getting out of the cold, cornish rain.

Loverly little cafe was treated very well by staff no complaints food and coffee was really nice.

The young staff didn’t appear to have any interest in delivering good service. They were not welcoming and mumbled responses to queries from customers. The food was average, but the prices were not. All in all, not a great experience. I don’t blame the staff, as they seem to have had little or no training. It’s a shame, as the location is terrific.

Copped an milkshake with the boys, expecting it to be lovely for £5. However, they just poured some flavoured milk into a cup (Crusha) and called it a day. Was not a milkshake by any stretch of the imagination, as the ice cream was no where to be seen

Utterly ridiculous prices. Portion of small thin chips for £4. I'm talking the cheap, thin chips you would find in a chicken & chip shop, for which would set you back £1 or £1.50 at the very very most. Bland and very small portion. £4 was genuinely insulting. Not impressed.

An all-round disappointing experience, the food was edible but most of it wasn't enjoyable, there was a distinct lack of flavour. It was also quite expensive to add insult to injury. Not likely to come back again.

Quite a decent cafe. Food was very good (spicy fish tacos spot on). Its a case of finding a table then ordering at the counter rather than table service. Upstairs has great views but when it's hot, it's too hot so try downstairs first when the sun's out.

Quite expensive with disappointing portion sizes for the cream tea. Two scones is good, but then such a small amount of cream and jam is not sufficient for two scones. Tiny pot of tea is only suitable for a single cup. All in all, £7.50 is unreasonable.
