service took 20 minutes, they forgot my order, it was crowded and hot in there, and when i eventually recieved my drink, they gave me the wrong straw for the boba, so i couldnt even drink it. Not impressed, will stick to starbucks.

Staff are friendly and coffee is good, have only tried food once so gave 5 stars.

If you get the right staff the service is excellent, however there a couple members of staff that seem lazy and just want to gossip so you have to wait. The coffee is consistent. I do prefer the taste of Starbucks but it is one of the better coffees in wadebridge. I did complain one day and they did replace though. Shame a couple lazy members of staff drag down all the good ones. Update 06/07/24 Went in today. Waited for ages to be served. No one even bothered to acknowledge me. Manageress was too busy talking to some one on her phone. Been in three times since my original review and similar service each time. Very slow service every time. The staff come across as if you are a burden. Star rating reduced to 1. Doubt I will go again. Costa should take a leaf out of others. At least acknowledge customers. After all the service industry is complaining it's struggling. No wonder when you can't get a coffee from a coffee shop in a timely manor.!! Wasn't that they were busy

One of the best, most cleanest Costa I’ve been to. Lady at 8am works so hard to take everything thrown at her so early. Lovely people. Thank you. The only coffee shop open at 8am.

Lovely place nestled away on the high(?) street of Wadebridge. My drink was strawberry frappe 🍓 and I had a biscuit to go with that. It was delish! Value for money. It is spacious, has charging points for mobile, has clean toilets which are accessible too! Everything I needed in a place while I was waiting for my next bus to Bodmin.

Food good selection as we only need a little bit to bite before we go somewhere else. Clean place staff are friendly most importantly is the membership we did join it's a useful weapon get treat drop via apps and we even get 2 beans for our own cup! Which is advantage what else we could ask for. I know price is increasing but hell who knows everywhere is also increased so it's down to your personal choice no complaints.

Awful, lady serving was staring us down as soon as we walked in. We have two young girls who where choosing cakes, giving us death stair. When we ordered no smiles, just the whole aura was uncomfortable, her tone of voice. Everything about it seemed rude, so I cancelled my order and chose to leave. If your going to serve people. Be nice and smile. Simple.

Simply awful and a criminal lack of heath and safety. A very quiet Sunday and 3 miserable looking staff behind the counter. After being served, we took our place waiting with the rest of the folk waiting, there were a few orders in front of us but it was taking an age for the 3 staff to work their way through things. After about 10 minutes a man walked in with a small dirty looking dog, he clearly new Lucy (the shift manager we assumed) who immediately cheered up when she saw him and his dog, she came out from behind the counter and made a fuss of the dog, feeding it treats and letting it lick her hands. She then went back behind the counter and carried on preparing food, SHE DIDN'T WASH HER HANDS!! So dog spit and worse now being transferred to the utensils, food and entire serving area. We weren’t the only people to notice this. No staff had hats or hair covering near the food prep and were constantly touching themselves on the face/ears/nose/hair/mouth. To add insult to injury, the man with the dirty dog who was on first name terms with Lucy was made his drink before those of us waiting!! AVOID.

Staff are friendly. They always busy .Drinks are quality they got alternative milk such as Oat , Soya , Coconut, Ultimate blend , semi skim, whole milk , skim milk which enought choice already.Place is cleaner, great atmosphere. They open quite early like 8am.-17.30pm Mon to sat and Sun 9am - 16 pm. Best freppe in town and defo happy with price if you are members of Costa which is great value got many rewards every other day or weeks been collected beans 10 get 1 free. Gettreat birthday cake. Get 10% up to 40% discount of many thing in there.service Happy over all. 🤍

Amazing stuff both a lovely girls who made are coffee and taken our orders, very clean stories, we really enjoyed our drinks before had down to our holiday cottage.

Just like your normal Costa, it has lots of seating inside and around 4 tables outside, the prices are just like all the rest but the staff are friendly and happy! Which is helpful!

Staff seem to be too busy, a bit untidy and accessible toilet was broken.

My wife and I took our dog out for a coffee and Pup cup - only to be told that we could NOT have her inside the cafe and she must stay outside....."Only assistance dogs are allowed inside." What sort of attitude and policy - in this day and age - does this portray for Costa? Our dogs are much more well-behaved than a lot of children ... they do not shout and scream, jump over the furniture or annoy other people. They ARE our family. Come on Costa, please reconsider this outdated attitude to Dogs.

I use this costa probably once a week, I haven't yet had a decent visit! Not sure why I keep going back to be honest. The staff turnover is very very high and I haven't come across a friendly one yet. I've previously been told that I can't pay for an extra shot of coffee in my flat white due to it already having 3 shots of coffee in?!? The costa flat whites are far too big to be an actual flat white any other coffee shop it would be large latte. Today's experience we ordered a medium cappuccino, 2 bubble frappe's, tea cake and 2 slices of cake. My tea cake was toasted 10 minutes before my cappuccino had been made. The young lad making coffees was soooo slow throwing things around like a barman making cocktails when he had at least 6 checks on. The older lady possibly the manager is so rude she shouldn't be allowed in customer service.

Can't beat a Costa coffee I like the variety of drinks on offer I particularly like Decaf coffee not all places use it

The staff were so lovely and patient explaining the difference in the coffees to me for my grandmother. They were happy to make me anything drink with any adjustments for her. I will definitely go here again! It's was so clean too !

Chain owned by Coca Cola staff never stay long weeks if not days. speed not quality is the benchmark at all Costa outlets this one is no different

Nice town centre location and easy enough to tuck yourself in a corner to get some work done.

Young lad making Coffee had no idea bless him. Everything came out the same, I only know how to make a Latte. Costa please train your staff in the art of making coffee. Oh and you need more than 2 staff on shift, dirty tables everywhere. Feel sorry for the 2 staff members they had no chance!!

Quickish service and lattes made were standard ones, quiet and peaceful. Strange ordering as everyone seems to stand around after ordering...

Our visit this Sunday morning was ruined by a wet & very smelly dog (Not an Assistance Dog) Laying under a table inside the restaurant!?

I went in just this morning and staff were very lovely, accommodating and patient. As someone who struggles with autism sometimes people can be quite impatient with me but this was not the case. Cafe was very clean, excellent coffee and a great space to sit and write/read. Overall, I had a very good time and will definitely be coming again.

Starbucks makes much nicer hot chocolate. Staff are friendly here but the food and drink I am disappointed in.

Great costa experience this morning, the man who served me (I think he might be the manager, not entirely sure) was absolutely lovely, so friendly and chatty. Costa itself was immaculate and tidy!

The Costa Coffee in Wadebridge probably one of the nicest ones I've been too. Not really a big fan of the Costa , Starbuck's, Nero's chains , would rather support the local businesses. But.. have enjoyed coffee here. Nice feel to the place. Used to be a bank. Staff Friendly and pleasant. Would recommend to anyone if in Wadebridge 👍

My wife and I went to Wadebridge Costa for an apple drink and a cup of coffee. Very friendly staff and an excellent cup of coffee. Two staff member, no waiting and no queue.

Visited Wadebridge on Sunday, place not very busy but also many shops shut. We were pleased that costa was open. Not many customers no queue. Choose our toasted sandwich (not a big selection) and coffee Found a table. Food ok. Coffee good.

Very sparsly furnished with plenty of space but insufficient seating. I have been in many times but left to go elsewhere as unable to get a seat. When there were empty tables they were mainly uncleared.

Went there as a family waited half an hour to get served due to the staff being completely incompetent and didn't seem to have a routine or know what they were doing. Normally 1 staff member takes your order whilst you then wait for the other to make it. Not this time 1 member of staff takes your order then goes and gets it ready with the other one whilst standing around looming obvious not really knowing what was happening. The que was out the door, when you get served you her a weak "sorry it took so long" this was so insincere it was ridiculous. Other people in the que said the same and couldn't believe how long it took to order a drink and que up. Won't go back!

Today was the first time in Wadebridge and a visit to Costa to refresh. Unfortunately the staff are not very customer focused. The day was raining and it was freezing inside. Asked the staff can the air con be turned off or made to blow a little bit warmer. The reply was from the female member of staff it only blows cold it's not a heater very rudley. I also asked if the WiFi was working to another female member of staff, the reply was maybe 02 but we don't have anything to do with it you just need to keep trying and snubbed me and walked away. It costs nothing to be polite. The staff need to understand there are other coffee restaurants in the area we the customer pay their wages. We would not return to this restaurant if ever in the area again. Staff like this tarnish the Costa brand name.

Went to this town with my brother in law and while there went into Costa for refreshments.

Excellent service, clean. Staff more concentrating on their job rather than interact with customers (head down all the time serving). Having said that they were very polite

Lovely size coffee shop but the two staff were too busy chatting to each other, consequently there were many tables left uncleared, tables and trays not wiped down/disinfected, and worst still - when I lifted my cake off my plate I could see there was dried coffee stains on the plate where it hadn't even been washed from the previous customer. Coffee was reasonably good but nothing special and the service so slow despite very few customers, several customers got fed up of waiting and walked out. Won't be returning to that shop!

Came in for a coffee and to do some work and I cannot stress how amazing the staff were at following Covid guidelines, telling people kindly to step back and following all procedures. Absolutely amazing customer service when issues arose from other customers, and staff were extremely friendly to their customers. A real credit to the town 🌟

Best coffee shop in Wadebridge and that is saying something as there are now four million cafes in town. Staff are very friendly (especially Sonia) and the flat white is always lovely. The only negative is that I’ve spent way too much money here. Thanks and keep up the good work Costa Wadebridge.

Decent sized cup/bucket of coffee for the price I paid, pleasantly surprised actually having had experience 'elsewhere' of smaller drinks for the same price, so really great value for money. Friendly service and quick. Nice selection of treats too though we didnt indulge this time! Thumbs up!!

Haven't been to Wadebride for a few years so decided to pop in to see what has changed. Was quite a pleasant surprise to see a Costa in the high street now. The service was great, nice and friendly..just what you expect from a chain...

Called in for a coffee and although not busy the tables could have done with a good clean down. Service slow and not sure if they know what they were doing?

Recently opened on the site of the old Nat West bank in Wadebridge, finally a straight forward non-pretentious coffee shop to challenge some ( not all) if the overpriced ‘high-brow’ coffee shops in Wadebridge. Spacious seating area and of course the well known coffee blend....

So Costa has arrived in Wadebridge in Cornwall....Staff very friendly...and the one thing I found amazing is the amount of room inside. The establishment was busy but because it is very large indeed it was easy to find a seat..The site of an old bank...
