Delicious brownies! We love to visit here on our annual holiday. I’m sure it is a great stop for locals to order birthday cakes and any treats.

We always visit Sarah’s Cake shop when visiting Looe. Never let down, always lots to choose and very tasty. Friendly service and reasonable prices. A must visit when in Looe.

We are truly very lucky to have Sarah's cake shop here in Looe...their celebration cakes are just amazing so if you're looking for a delicious cake with also that wow factor then this is the place!

Visited during a week day as was drawn in by the fantastic selection of cakes in the window. Ordered two kinder brownies and they were absolutely scrumptious. Can’t wait to to return, or maybe order a box for delivery one day!

We had to try a traditional cornish meat pasty and a lamb / mint one just to compare. The traditional one was taste sensation, the meat and the peppery vegetables added to the taste experience . The lamb / mint pasty was another level , a little hint would be to have a little jugglette of gravy to complete the taste sensation

Customer service wasn't up to much. Lady (dark hair, lunchtime on Monday 24th April) rushed us to order when there were no other customers around and quite frankly made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Won't be going back.

Sarah’s cake shop sells the most amazing cakes! When visiting Looe this is our first stop of our holiday and we so look forward to it. The staff are so friendly especially Rachel who always has a friendly welcoming face. It’s a must visit!

Great selection of amazing cakes - some pricey but it shows in the quality and taste , brownies , tiffin & lemon drizzle all so nice.

Plenty of chain bakery offerings in Looe but this one stood out with huge cliff sized slices of homemade cake. We went for coffee and walnut, raspberry and white chocolate and a chocolate cupcake. They last 2 sessions believe me! Really fresh and tasty, good selection, especially of various brownies and bloodies too. Highly recommended. Don’t get cake elsewhere, you’ve been warned!!!!

Me and my family must have walked past this beautiful cake shop 5 times before we gave in and bought 3slices of bueno cookie pie and couple of brownies, absolutely beautiful, moist, when I found out they do delivery all over I was super happy and cannot wait to place a order with them back home! Very polite chatty ladies who run the shop, definitely recommend x

I can't stress enough how amazing and delicious the huge variety of sweet treats are from Sarah's. Every time we visit Looe we will come a couple of times to sample the new delights. Huge fan of the new Kinder slice

Found this little gem of a cake shop in looe. And the brownies are amazing. Even when we Came home from our holiday in looe I ordered a box of brownies to be delivered. Good price on delivery and very nicely presented too. The snickers ones are my favourite. Haha

We chose a snickers brownie and coffee cake, it was a difficult choice as there was so many to choose from. They were both amazing but didn’t last long enough to get a photo. The staff was very helpful and friendly. She made a special fuss of our two boxer dogs. Well worth a visit.

Great little find. My son was 16 whilst on holiday in looe. The lady could not of been more helpful she sorted us a great assortment of cupcakes.

Sarah's pasties certainly are good, we bought some to take home with us! The cakes available are also excellent, but in rather large portions.

Amazing find! Such a beautiful selection of fresh cakes, opted for biscoff cake cups which definitely didn’t disappoint. Really friendly girl serving, incredibly polite even while holding card reader in the window to get a signal. Will definitely return 10/10. 😊

Tucked away at the end of the high street in East Looe you stumble across this cracking little cake shop. It’s difficult to choose from all the amazing goodies on display. We came away with an enormous slice of lemon drizzle cake, and the most incredible salted caramel brownie. Lovely people in the shop too!If you’re after a delicious home made sweet treat then head down there, and prepare yourself for some of the best tasting cakes you’ve ever eaten!

So my daughter ordered this cake for my wifes 40th birthday party. I was excited to see the result as living locally, i know that sarahs pasties are highly regarded. The cake was in all honesty laughable. The detailing work looked like it had been carried out in a rush by a 5yr old. Luckily for us my wife found it hysterical. Not ehat we were going for but hey ho!To put it into context. My daughter provided a photo of my eife wearing dungarees and a photo of our 10kg dog. My wife looks very overweight and our dog looks like a gorilla.....

We always visit this cake shop when on holiday in Looe.. it’s something we look forward to. My sons and I had rainbow cake and coffee and walnut cake. Huge slices and delicious. A proper treat!

Visited during a stay in Looe, absolutely can't fault these cakes in terms of appearance - but the price is incredibly over the top. Almost certainly marketed towards the tourist folk as I don't think many locals would keep this business trading for long at these prices. In comparison the cost per slice rivals a deli store in Notting Hill or Knightsbridge. One and done, far more reasonable places in Looe for a decent bit of cake.

We went into Sarah's cake shop at fairly short notice to ask if they could make us a cake for a birthday a couple of days later. The lady in the shop was really accommodating. I went in asking for a victoria sponge and wasn't really sure what to expect when we picked it up a couple of days later. It's fair to say that we were blown away with what we got! The cake was beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. It was also absolutely delicious, we were sad when we got to the last few slices!!My mum (whose birthday it was) went as far as saying it was the best cake she's ever had. Highly recommend.

I am a professional baker myself of over thirty years and sponge,s are one of my signature bakes ,and it's very hard to find anything as fresh and light as I am used to ,but I found it here , between us all we have tried a lot of the cakes on offer and would say the sponge's are by far the best buys available as they are very light and fresh as the turn over is fast at this time of year.my son liked the salted caramel best ,I would choose Victoria sponge myself.which ever you choose I think is far better than any other cake shop in looe has to offer by far.well done lady's keep up the good work for fresh produce would be nice to see a fresh cream cabinet as looe seems not to have any!

Wonderful shop with a vast selection of tasty treats. I took a slice of the rainbow cake to go and it was mouthwatering. Excellent value for money as the slice was massive. Can’t wait to return.

Really friendly staff quaint little shop, we were drawn in by the Viennese whirls. They didn’t disappoint, crumbly buttery and big! Too much jam for my wife’s liking but not for me. Will probably go back for another.

Io e la mia amica siamo state attirate dalla vetrina di questo negozietto, che proponeva delle torte alte, pittoresche e coloratissime. Abbiamo comprato due fette diverse, una al cioccolato bianco con crema di lampone, l'altra al caffè, per mangiarle da asporto, dato che nel negozio non esistono posti a sedere. Speravamo che le fette ci fossero date in un vassoietto semirigido, invece ci sono state soltanto incartate, quindi abbiamo dovuto cercare un muretto per poterci sedere e mangiarle.I due dolci sono stati davvero buoni. Se devo muovere un appunto le fette erano davvero grandi, troppo grandi, talmente tanto che sia io che la mia amica siamo arrivate con molta difficoltà alla fine, quasi con la nausea per il troppo dolce. Questo non per sminuire la bontà della torta, assolutamente, solo per dire che la sua giusta dose era più bassa di quella che ci è stata venduta.

Got a slice of the rainbow cake they serve, and a Viennese whirl. The whirl was lovely and crumbly, the cake however, while it was tasty and baked to perfection, decorated with artistic precision, the buttercream icing tasted like artificial watermelon sweets somehow, which let it down; despite this I would recommend Sarah’s cakes :)

I love Sarah’s cakes and pastys. So when we were in Looe for daughters 18th they were obvious place for a lovely strawberry sponge.

We’re staying in Polperro for the week during which it’s my daughters birthday so I ordered a vegan birthday cake as a surprise. My husband picked it up this morning and it’s amazing,too good to eat in fact. Also the response and help by email was second to none and would highly recommend Sarah’s for cupcakes or a special occasion cake,thank you again.

We purchased two large pasties, which were well made, and a meal in themselves. Medium and small pasties are also available with a mixture of fillings. Service was very friendly, and the premises appeared clean.

Stopped at Sarah's for a pasty and you can see them being made at the same time. Very helpful as she cut a pasty in half and supplied in separate bags. Hot and delicious fully filled pasty

Whenever we holiday in the UK I look up cake shops that bake gluten free scones for my husband, so, was delighted to find that Sarah's cake shop in Looe provided GF scones and cakes and that the reviews were good. .Happy days!!!

Fresh gluten free cakes made in true gluten free conditions and kept separately from other cakes. Not just one option either. Brownie was squishy and tasty

We brought our Cornish pasty’s there. You can even see them cook them. Very tasty We even took some home with us.

I buy a cake once a month always delicious always looks fantastic lovely staff what more can I say next one July.

All the family like a pasty and have all had a few in our lives so this week we had a few. This place get's a great write up and it is cool to see the pasties being made in the background but they are, in our humble opinion, only above average at best. and they are expensive compared to others in town

Popped in for four different cakes for the family...yum all really nice, good sized portions price comparable, so yes worth the 5 stars today!

Brownies in particular are superb and staff in the past have baked to order if you are able to give a little notice.

We were on holiday when it was my daughter's birthday and needed a cake so gwent here. Wow the cake was amazing we could choose anything we want size, design, colours different icing ect. My daughter who was turning 4 do it picked some cupcakes out and we choose a cake design from them. She loved the cake when I picked it up and took it to a resturant for her. The cake looked amazing as well as tasted amazing. Would deffently come back.

A must place to get some lovely cakes. We always make multiple visits to here when we stay. Cannot wait for our next visit

El dulce aroma de las tortas en realidad me señaló a la tienda! Muchas tartas diferentes para elegir. Y todos muy bien decorada. Visitamos este lugar dos veces en la semana que pasamos en vacaciones en Looe sólo para volver y probar la tarta diferente! Visited Looe for 4 holidays. We always frequent the cake shop and the pasty shop too! Always great! Lots of choice and really tasty! Coming back again for our 5th visit soon! Yum!

El cielo. . . . . Las tartas caseras y deliciosos, los olores de pasteles recién hechos te golpea (de muy buena manera) tan pronto como entras en la tienda. El cielo. Dales una oportunidad no creo que te decepcionará.

Siempre voy a casa con estas empanadas cuando Looe, pero debes llegar temprano o pedir por adelantado, ya que se venden rápidamente.

My two daughters thought they'd gone to heaven in this shop, a firm favourite of our holiday! They both had a (huge!) slice of the rainbow cake each and me and the husband had a millionaires slice and a mint choc slice. The girls needless to say didn't manage theirs in one sitting but promptly finished it the next day!Absolutely mouthwatering shop, the cakes are a work of art and taste divine. Sarah was really friendly and chatty as well. The children have already asked if we can go there again :-)

Best Pasties in all of Cornwall and I've ate lots! PREFECT. Really moist inside and plenty of meat. The pies are the same too. Good quality. Lovely.

Seen a massive double chocolate cream sponge cake with chocolate flakes on top in the window and a just as impressive lemon drizzle cake so we went in and took away two slices.We had them at home with a cuppa and the cakes were very moist and fresh.The quality was amazing. Highly recommended.

Great take away cakes, neighbour needed a birthday cake quickly and they delivered, was delicious. Staff very friendly and you can see the cakes and meringues being made fresh each day.

Most people come to Cornwall for the scones, we come for this shops lovely treats. It's so quaint and so yummy! Every cake we have had are handmade and just the best I've tasted! Give Mary berry a run for her money

I'm an avid baker and love walking past the beautiful displays at Sarah's Cake Shop. However, I've yet to have anything that lives up to how good these cakes look. I've tried so hard to like these cakes but after the unimpressive cupcakes and the dry and completely hollow macaron I had last week, I think I'll settle for just looking.

In amongst the usual tourist offerings of fish and chips and sugared doughnuts is this wonderful little cake shop! The window displays drew us in and we enjoyed a slice of strawberry and marshmallow and cinder toffee cake. The portions were certainly big enough (especially as we had already had a pasty at Sarah's other shop!) and rich and indulgent without being sickly. It was our first visit to Looe and I would return for the cake alone! Divine!

Such a good selection of cakes it was difficult to choose which one to have.The solution was to keep going back and having a different cake each day!Every one was delicious.Will definitely return if in Looe again and continue working my way through every cake in the shop!

Love the cakes in here. The are fresh and the smell in the shop is so nice. If you have questions about the cakes and the ingredients they are able to give information. I even bring them home

Following a trip to Sarah's pasty shop we decided pudding was certainly on the menu, we found this shop just yards from the pasty shop and gazed through the window at all the goodies on offer. The gluten free offerings looked delicious and I plumped for a cupcake, I confess I should have gone for the lemon cake as it's usually my favourite. My husband had a giant meringue with strawberries, my daughter had a shortbread biscuit decorated perfectly and my niece went for the mint choc cake. We all enjoyed our choices and will be calling in again next time we're in the area.

My daughter ordered a red velvet birthday cake in advance of our holiday this week. The lady at the shop could not have been more helpful and everything was exactly as ordered. Delicious cake at a very good price mmmmm.

It is 8 years since we last visited Sarah's cake shop and the pasties are still as good as we remembered. There is a lot of very tasty home cooked goodies on offer. The traditional pasty is a meal in itself. Full of meat and veg with melt in the mouth pastry.

Been in here a few times. They window displays look amazing but the cakes aren't that good. I brought some yesterday and they were stale by that night. Don't think I will be trying again

the range of cakes were amazing! i generally couldn't choose what to have so i bought 3 types. All were reasonably priced and totally delicious. I wish i had a Sarah's Cake Shop here in Bristol! i would be a regular customer!

The best I have tasted. You can buy it in 3 sizes. The large size is a meal in itself or you can share it.
