Never known a bar to charge £1.70 extra for a tiny dash of lime in a beer.

Went here to have lunch after walking the south west coast path. To met by not one, not two, but three rude members of the team to advise no dogs allowed in the most stuck up snotiest way ever. No wander everyone on our site slates your site. Place looked dirty dingy and the walk up from the coast path dirty nappies. Horrible park and restaurant 😫

This place perfectly balances a casual laid back atmosphere, with really good quality food and top-notch service. A real hidden gem. We booked a table for a large group, and didn't pre order our meals, there were at least 3 other large groups being served at the same time. Despite them warning us there could be a delay for the kitchen to keep up, our order came out in good time, hot and perfectly presented. Definitely visit this place if you are in the area, you won't regret it. Finally, a special mention for the staff, rushed off their feet, but all incredibly happy and welcoming. We could not have asked for a better experience.

We've been to Beachside several times and this restaurant never fails to disappoint. The chef is decent, but they didn't have any peppercorn sauce or churros and the staff are like teenagers on work experience. They've literally never had any professional staff. The atmosphere is zero, when it used to be buzzing. Personally, we liked it better when it was just a bar and you could order takeaway from the shop below. Don't even get me started on what they've done to the shop! Dreadful. Good service is important guys!.... Argh, they don't care. 🙄

Stunning views across the bay front the terrace where you're sheltered by glass screens. Really generous Sunday roast, lots of tasty vegetables and well cooked meat. Good value for money, great service.

I loved my food here. I got the veggie burger and grilled hummus and it was all delicious. I'd definitely get it again. The staff were lovely. There's lots of space and beautiful views.

Had our 80th Birthday celebrations here, excellent venue, attentative staff, delicious food which made it a special occasion

I really like this place. It’s been going a few years now as part of Beachside but open to anyone so don’t feel like you’re not allowed to enter the campsite to drink/eat at Coast! There’s a lift too, so if you’re disabled or not great on your feet then it’s all good.

A massive let down . A limited menu to start with ,but tonight there were no chicken dishes whatsoever, curry choice was Tofu. No steak available no kids pasta meals. So it was literally fish and chips or Beefburgers. If you advertise as a restaurant there should at least be a choice of different foods and not run out of food at 7pm at night on a saturday. When it did eventually turn up the chips were cold and there was no added cheese and bacon on the burger we paid extra for. A disappointing family meal out. We will definitely not be returning

Took my dad and daughter here for lunch food was amazing, my daughter thought The Slab , veggie halumi burger was the best shed ever had .

Had dinner here with the family, very reasonably priced and good portion sizes. Order at the bar and wait for food to arrive, nice and simple. Kids food was very good and fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend and visit again.

Steak £30 for what... ordered sirloin, got rump steak, overcooked aswell when asked for medium-rare. It was also frozen so half of it tasted like cardboard. Atmosphere 5/5, service 3/5 (they stood there for 5mins looking at my sauce as if they never seen it and had no idea what it was, had to approach them myself and take it, food 2/5.

Wonderful views and attentive service for afternoon tea. This is also a wedding venue which, with the on-site chalet accommodations, would be an amazing location for that special day

Really nice place with fantastic views of the bay. The food (poke bowl) was really nice and the roast was fantastic. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a brilliant indoor play thing on the side. Living in Hayle, it is quite a quick trip we will make more often

We had our work Christmas lunch here this year and from the moment I made the booking, Beki was really helpful. The venue itself was really nice and very Christmassy with lovely views over the bay and both the food and the service from Beki and the team was brilliant. Very friendly and welcoming. First visit but definitely not the last and highly recommend.

Our art group went to Coast for a Christmas dinner. The food and service were excellent. Beki and her team were brilliant looking after us. This was our second visit and I'm sure we will go there again.

We had an amazing Xmas Lunch here at Coast. Lovely Christmas atmosphere with beautiful sea views. The food was amazing and the staff and service were second to none. Coast hosted a party for my dad's 90th birthday. Beki and her team couldn't have been more accommodating. The food was great (veggie and gluten-free options accommodated happily), the views were fabulous, everything was spotless, they were happy for us to bring our own cake, and we had a wonderful day. Totally recommend!

Visited today to celebrate my son's 21st Birthday - we had been told that the Sunday Carvery is excellent and it really is... The staff made sure that the table was decorated for my sons birthday and the view from the restaurant overlooking St Ives Bay is stunning this place is a hidden gem will definitely come again..

We were celebrating Hayle Surf Lifesaving at Coast last night for a large event. The food was delicious served very quickly and the waiting staff were very lovely. We had such a great evening and didn't need to leave Hayle to do so. We will keep this venue in mind as it was wonderful. Thank you to all staff that worked last night!

Was quiet so 3 star atmosphere. Fab chips. Crushed and fried mmmmm.

We chose Coast Kitchen Bar for our Sons 4th birthday party (the soft play section) It absolutely didn't disappoint. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. The spread of food for the kids was so impressive. Not only was it displayed to appeal to young ones. Bananas and kiwis shaped into palm trees and various other characters too, it was also healthy! The other parents all commented on this. Beki was always available to talk to and helped make the experience run so smoothly. The kids had the best time and the other parents were so impressed that they will be considering the venue for their young ones birthdays too. Thank you to all involved :)

Lovely Sunday carvery in pleasant modern dining room with good views of the sea at the window seats

We came in for a carvery. The food was delicious with good portions. The restaurant was really clean and bright with panoramic views of St. Ives bay. It was our anniversary and they laid out heart shaped napkins and gave us a table for 2. Had a nice walk down to the beach after. Thanks for making it a great day!

First visit although I'm local, very impressed with this restaurant, it's view, over St Ives Bay, the food and service. We were a large group, all food was served so that we were all eating the mains together. Plenty of tasty food and there was table service. Although it is a tourist Beachside resort is open to none residents.

We went for a sunday carvery after a recommendation from a local. The food was cold, food dished onto plates for you. The potatoes had run out, gravy was empty as was horseradish sauce. You had to collect own cutlery, salt and pepper were in paper sachets. We wont go back...lots of other local pubs/restaurants doing sunday lunches.

Nice food and good service but could do with a few more choices on the menu

We headed in on a rainy Sunday. It was fully booked but the restaurant manager pulled out a table and squeezed us in. We were so grateful. Her friendly 'can do' attitude really set the tone for our day. The roast beef carvery was perfect. Good beef and generous vegetables. Just a very happy experience.

Only 5 Star's because that's the maximum allowed! Absolutely lush time, view, food and the service alone is well worth the visit! I was trying to find a venue with a view, great food, service with a large party of people to kick off my engagement ideas and the young ladies there, the management and head chef accommodated all of my needs and plenty more with planning of the engagement for my now fiancé! The food was so good, very well prepared and presented! From a previous restaurant owner, this was a very memorable experience with the staff, food and atmosphere! Keep up the good work everyone, myself and everyone with us will most definitely return! Thank you all again for everything and being apart of or special occasion!

We have been intending to book in for a Sunday roast for quite a while due to the positive reports. Firstly the location, it has amazing views perched up on the first floor. Situated within a holiday park. We were pleasantly greeted - in fact all staff were very friendly and made up for the next part of this review. The food. The Sunday roast option is a carvery which had two meats and a nut roast on offer. An array of veg. Our group chose a mix of meats. Veg was dished for us which we usually like to do ourselves. Back at the table the food quality became a reoccurring comment amongst the group. The meat was very chewy and of a poor quality both beef and pork not very tasty at all. The veg was ok but single scoops of veg issued. Potatoes were odd tasting and seemed to be old when cut through. Dare I say it, past their best? So in summary, great location. Great staff! Food let down by a couple of things could easily be fixed to make this a go to place for a Sunday carvery. Unfortunately we will leave it for a while to see if things improve.

Amazing location, beautiful views, lush food, plenty of options to accommodate all, small indoor play area, outdoor play park right on the sand dunes, with a small cafe attached, nice field which has football goals and tennis net, amusements arcade below the bar, another cafe shop next to that, its a great spot which leads onto a gorgeous beach! Staff are brilliant, and its a nice chilled atmosphere too. As a local, definitely one of my favourite spots!

Lovely atmosphere and very welcoming as soon as you enter...nothing was to much trouble when we changed tables for the stunning outside balcony with sea views...The food was excellent and highly recommended...Thank you for an enjoyable evening.

Stunning views, great place and very clean.

To my admittedly modest experience, the Coast Sunday Carvery is arguably the best Sunday carvery between Newquay and St Ives, and without doubt the best value roast on offer in the same region Great service too: polite attendant chat from all the staff when we visited, from Beki the greeter, the chef and carver, server, and restaurant and bar staff. Honestly couldn't fault it. You can confidently ignore the 1 and 2-star reviews as people projecting frustration at their own lack of prep and anticipation of what's on offer at Beachside.

Great views of St ives Bay from the balcony. Good choice of food from steak, burger , fish, and chips . Vegetarian and vegan options, too. I had loaded burger , fantastic 😋. Chilled atmosphere and friendly service. Great place to see the sun set. Small children play area to keep them entertained. Open to non-resident, parking available.

We booked a table here for 8 people for my 50th and was delighted. It was very well set out beautifully decorated lovely atmosphere the food was awesome and was served very quickly the prices are very reasonable and the location made it magical, will most definitely be going back here that's for sure, one of our favourite places now to eat in Cornwall Well done to the owners for letting it be available to the locals. Wonderful looking restaurant overlooking St Ives Bay was booked in for Sunday Roast at 2-30 pm on Sunday 28th and we were all hungry after buying plants, not many people in the restaurant but had to wait till we were called to get our food all looked ok although there was a limited choice of veg, but although the plates were warm the food was not hot enough and the roast potatoes must have been cooked twice. If you take bookings and you serve from mid-day then you know the food must be fresh for the late diners so why not cover the food or have the Ban-Marie on a higher setting? My wife did point out that she was disappointed with the food, we left soon after

The venue was amazing with excellent views, the food at this time of year was limited but the fish, chips and peas were fantastic. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The disabled facilities were great, good disabled accessible toilets, a lift go the 1st floor, and comfortable seating. Allows dogs in the venue which is brilliant. Will definitely go again

Beautifully kept Restaurant with the most stunning panoramic views over to St Ives. The staff at Coast are very friendly & lots of fun, while running the restaurant efficiently with first class service. Food is good, with a very nice carvery on Sundays.

Decent prices, polite and friendly staff, and a very nice view to either have a drink on a sunny day overlooking the sea or sit for evening meal. Lots of drink options available and a good selection of food choice, but not massive amount of choice 🙂⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Popped in today for a quick lunch before going to the beach. Menu selection wasn’t great so we ended up getting carbonara and a loaded burger. Food came fast but it was all rather low quality. The carbonara seemed to come out of a jar with the toppings also not being fresh. The beef burger had a sliver of pulled pork on to make it loaded. The burger itself made both our stomachs turn. Just tasted like sweaty mince meat and not in a good way. Even though we were hungry we couldn’t finish our meals. My girlfriend was so disappointed she even shed a tear over this awful lunch. Meant to make good memories on holiday. It’s a shame when the only redeeming quality of your food is the chips. Would have raised these issues to staff but they were all busy behind the bar and nobody was really paying any attention to us in the restaurant. Doubt they’d even want to hear it. Other than that the location is wonderful and the venue is fairly clean. It seems the staff are on it, even in the kitchen, if the menu, food and waiting was improved could easily be 4 star.

Rang up at 10.30am on the off chance that our party of 9 could be accommodated for a carvery and were lucky enough to get in at 12.30pm. Having 4 adults, 4 kids and a toddler in a high chair was absolutely no bother, even...

Fantastic restaurant, very friendly staff, and quality food. We have eaten here several times now, when we have stayed on the site.

Unfortunately their website mentions dog friendly but they are definitely NOT. Having made the mistake of visiting today via the beach we enquired about eating on the empty terrace. We were told in no uncertain terms that dogs are not allowed anywhere on the site +apart from the winter - clearly we are welcome when no one else is around!!! We politely left and two minutes later a woman literally ran out to chase us off the premises! Needless to say we won't be back - winter or not!!

We decided on a whim to come here for lunch on Sunday (15.5.22) as some of our family were already here enjoying their own roast dinner. The staff were wonderfully accommodating in turning a table of 3 into a table of 6 (including a toddler)...

First discovered here in Dec 2021, since then I regularly visit. I'm local to Hayle, it's great that locals are welcome to visit here. I often come up for a hot drink, usually a hot chocolate which is served with cream, marshmallows and a chocolate...

First time for us for breakfast at Coast - so impressed we have booked to go back for Sunday Roast. Breakfast was the full Cornish although lighter options were available and the view from the restaurant is just amazing. Super friendly helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Fabulous tasty freshly cooked food from Coast. The whitebait was lightly fried ( not smothered in breadcrumbs or battered ) and the burgers were freshly ground beef or fillet of chicken. with lovely crispy chips. Highly recommended.

Excellent quality food, generous portions, very reasonable prices. Brilliant views and very clean. Staff were very helpful, food is cooked to order and fresh. We will be recommending this restaurant to all of our friends.
