I have been staying local to this pub for a few months - 2 or 3 nights at a time. Just happened to pop in when music was being played. Loved the local atmosphere and made welcome straight away. This is a no fuss pub with spotless on TV and friendly bar staff and locals. I will definitely be in again when I am in the area. It’s a pub - drink with friendly people and relax - it’s not complicated! ……!

Brilliant atmosphere away from the town centre so it's more traditional than the usual chain pubs. Strong connection to Veterans and their charities and a great place to find support for those from a military background seeking help with all aspects of life. Traditional ales along with some modern ones like Madri and Guiness of course. Traditional Sunday lunch on Sundays.

Had a weekend to enjoy myself so wow did I made the right Choice what pub to choose ! From the moment I walked in on Friday to visiting Saturday and Sunday and was so welcomed by many friendly customers and Bar staff so attentive and professional , Emma and Harriette Tom etc….. The bands are still going to make this pub still awesome atmosphere and well done on Gavin for being a great DJ too! Thanks 😊 to Brian and Val for all their hard work to making this pub great again 😊

A welcome always awaits. Sponsors of local Armed Forces Veterans Branch. Good social activities. Friendly host and also has music nights. Well supported pub. Nice pint of Guinness.

It's not every day you see a cat take its owner out to the local Costa 🤷♀️ and not every day the staff are still meowing ten minutes later 😂 The barista wasn't happy that she had started to heat semi when I asked for skimmed and telling the first person was what was required, very sorry, I will remember next time.

Rock Road, RockWe were on holiday and ended up eating here 3 times. We had our dog who typically was nervous in eating places so we never bothered eating out, we were given a table in the corner and asked for the same one every time which they obliged as she was settled, it helped that the staff were all so helpful and the food was so nice, would highly recommend the Pityme Inn and we will visit again, it made our holiday

2 Bank StreetAlways friendly staff, helpful and informative of special coffee blends Dog friendly and they do sell doggie treats, plenty of water bowls inside and out Seating outside and great access for wheelchair users Great selection of cakes and savouries to choose from Also, a selection of books and games if it's a miserable day outside Comfy sofas, a good place to chill, work on your laptop solo or with friends

Callington Road HattHad a lovely meal,Rump Steak& Croft Burger,then sweets to finish. Great food and service. Shame the weather wasn't a little better as we would have sat outside after our meal.

5 Fore StreetJust cooked a cheese and onion pasty that I bought on our last visit in Newquay. The disappointment is massive as there was no detectable cheese in the pasty. Sadly have another one in the freezer. An awful lot of money paid for potato and onion. Definitely won't be back.
