The swan in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

I have been staying local to this pub for a few months - 2 or 3 nights at a time. Just happened to pop in when music was being played. Loved the local atmosphere and made welcome straight away. This is a no fuss pub with spotless on TV and friendly bar staff and locals. I will definitely be in again when I am in the area. It’s a pub - drink with friendly people and relax - it’s not complicated! ……!

Brilliant atmosphere away from the town centre so it's more traditional than the usual chain pubs. Strong connection to Veterans and their charities and a great place to find support for those from a military background seeking help with all aspects of life. Traditional ales along with some modern ones like Madri and Guiness of course. Traditional Sunday lunch on Sundays.

Had a weekend to enjoy myself so wow did I made the right Choice what pub to choose ! From the moment I walked in on Friday to visiting Saturday and Sunday and was so welcomed by many friendly customers and Bar staff so attentive and professional , Emma and Harriette Tom etc….. The bands are still going to make this pub still awesome atmosphere and well done on Gavin for being a great DJ too! Thanks 😊 to Brian and Val for all their hard work to making this pub great again 😊

A welcome always awaits. Sponsors of local Armed Forces Veterans Branch. Good social activities. Friendly host and also has music nights. Well supported pub. Nice pint of Guinness.
