Absolutely gutted by the news. Thanks for some brilliant memories and good luck to all the staff and management. Top pub with brilliant locals.

Very disappointed with our meal, my mussels had small pieces of shell throughout the dish which was really unpleasant, also i think they were frozen not fresh which is appalling considering where we are, my friend’s salad was not appealing and we felt like the staff couldn’t be bothered. Will never go back there again.

Food was lovely well cooked and well presented. My wife and I spent a lovely time here. Waitresses both extremely friendly and a credit to the establishment

Booked up for 17 of us to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday- The staff were brilliant and the food was fantastic - nothing was too much trouble.

Stayed in Looe for a week ate here every night because we wouldn't have found better. Two fantastic chefs friendly bar staff and delicious meals why go anywhere else

Part of my holiday in looe over the years with my dogs is the anticipation of coming back to the globe! If you want a sincere pub that is a real pub then walk the extra yards and come darken their door. Always feel welcome, food beyond great and lovely staff. Always my thanks to Conner for putting up with us and changing the menu! So good to be back and look forward to our return again next year. Meanwhile sincere thanks for fabulous meals and happy memories of being here . Wish all a prosperous close to the year 🎉

To be fair the food was ok. Just be aware if you're not a local. It can get very hostile if you're an outsider. My wife and I witnessed a young man getting beat up by some locals, I believe one of the perpetrators was a relative of the landlady. The poor lad (Northern accent) didn't stand a chance. They really need to calm some of the locals down.

The food was great just had to wait 1.5 hours for it pretty poor really since we had booked a table .

We came here in 2022 for sunday Lunch which was delicious. So made sure to visit again when in cornwall this year. The food was excellent again. Just a shame the surroundings are not.The Staff are great but place is shabby . The landlord walking round in barefeet, which are filthy doesn't look good either.. Such a shame as the food is so good and i'm sure when people walk in it would put them off. Honestly...the food is really good its a shame the other bits let it down. I had 3 lasagnes in 2 weeks from different places and this one was by far the best as was my friends burger...... please get it tidied up...

there was dog poo on the floor and wiped on table leg and i asked for my burger completely plain and it came with cheese which i’m allergic too but to be fair she did refund it.

If you want to know what a pint of Tribute looks and tastes like, then this is the best pint in South West. The only problem is that it is too easy to drink !!!

Visited here with a group of friends, stupidly let our friend book a table without asking to see a menu/reviews. It was extremely busy which is expected for a Saturday but we found it quite rowdy and excessively loud, definitely not a family friendly place. There were also dogs running around on furniture. It isn't very accessible for prams/wheelchairs, even more so inside. The choice of food wasn't great, very basic menu and also no gluten free options which we didn't realise upon booking. The food was extremely overpriced for how poor quality it was. We all had different meals and most of us disliked our meals. It seems a popular pub amongst locals but the dining side of this place was just extremely poor and we definitely wouldn't recommend.

Reviewed trip advisor & decided this would be a good choice for Sunday lunch, unfortunately it didn’t live up to those reviews. The place is tired & dated, tables sticky, with flies & no menus! The Sunday lunch was beef which suited us although it had been very over cooked & veg under cooked. Staff were friendly & it seemed to appeal to locals but not for me although this could be a one off.

We visited here this week and it was amazing, the staff are so natural and friendly we just felt welcomed straight away, we had a meal here which was so nice and great value for money, music playing was awesome too, kid and dog friendly, if you just want to sit outside with a pint and watch the world go by or have a good drink and food, this is one not to miss. Thanks to Jon Anouska jade chef Johnny Elise and Connor, keep up the great work, will defo be returning in the near future.

This was our first and will not be our last visit to the Globe Inn. Food was fantastic - homemade & thoughtfully presented. Staff were attentive friendly, working the room well ensuring all their customers were catered for. A great unexpected find :0)
