Beach Bar And Bistro in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Had a lovely breakfast here in March. All the staff were so friendly and attentive to us. The views around the shack were beautiful with big windows looking onto the beach a lovely spot and a must visit if you’re in the area!

Just got back from two weeks camping in Cornwall. The beach shack was amazing. Wonderful breakfast and snacks. Cooked fresh and served by really friendly and polite staff. Came for one snack and ended up eating most days I have to say a special thanks to Anouska for being so helpful and a real gem. Excellent service and smiles from her. A credit to the business. Hope you all have a great season and wish you all the best. Thanks and can't wait to come back and see you all for that amazing breakfast.

Lovely spot but such a shame the food was a let down. We are local and when this place re opened with new owners a couple of months ago we came by and were super impressed!! We returned at the weekend with family visiting from Birmingham and was instantly disappointed when the food came out. They forgot 2 of the orders firstly. Then secondly the sandwiches that used to be served on thick tiger bread came out on thin slithers of toast. I asked for no butter in my sausage and bacon sandwich and when it came out it had butter on it, not only that all the other sandwiches had 2 sausages and mine had 1. When I sent it back and reminded them I asked for no butter they took the sausage and bacon out and just put it on 2 slices of bread. This for 1 I was shocked with because if i had an allergy to dairy then I would have been hospitalised. Luckily for them I don't have a dairy allergy and Secondly they didn't even slice the sandwiches in half just came out in whole pieces of bread. It was just shocking in itself.

Went for breakfast before leaving for home, just needed one last time sitting overlooking the sea, weather awful this morning but a lovely breakfast & the view of the choppy sea sat indoors was great. As said, breakfast was great, thoroughly enjoyed my cooked breakfast & my daughter her vegetarian sausage sandwich, great value, coffee was hot too 😀. Staff were friendly. Been here a few years ago for drinks only, definitely recommend for breakfast & will be back again when back in the area. Only negative was the toilets, sorry but whilst it’s good that toilet facilities are available these I’m afraid are dire, a major upgrade is well overdue, we actually couldn’t use them & drove to the nearest services to use there facilities 😞

Prebooked a table for 2, couldn't order from Christmas Menu as apparently that has to be ordered in advance ( that wasn't mentioned when we booked) ,staff seemed indifferent, so we finished our drinks and went elsewhere to eat. Sorry, but felt rather disappointed having travelled 16 miles in very bad weather and paid £3 50 to park.

Haven’t been over this way for a few years now so decided to ‘pop in’ for a visit. Have to say, we weren’t disappointed! What a lovely Sunday Roast. And plenty of it. But mainly it’s the setting we come to enjoy. A nice meal and a few pints whilst overlooking the beach and the sea. What’s not to like!!

Great spot by the beach with super friendly staff. Popped in for Halloween drinks and had a great time. Best expresso martinis that I have had for a long while. Great location, great shack and good times.

Just fabulous; relaxed atmosphere in beautiful setting. Staff great, breakfast amazing 🤩 will be our new regular haunt!

After a lovely swim and beach walk, nothing beats a welcoming beach cafe, especially one that's dog friendly. We were both hungry so had Breakfast sandwhich stack, sausage, bacon, eggs and mushroom, you could tell quality produce, tasty lovely, and the 2 guys working were really polite and welcoming.

Friendly staff. Good service. Fantastic breakfast and sensible prices. Also stopped for an afternoon cuppa a couple of days before. Certainly recommend eating here if their breakfasts are anything to go by.

Welcome back the roast!! Just had another smashing roast down here!! They stopped doing them in summer but crikey, it's back with a delicious bang! Jodie (chef) knows how to cook a roast!! Shocking day weather wise but warm and toasty inside with the loveliest staff. Always welcoming and always delivers xx see you next Sunday!!! If not in the week!!

Stopped off for coffee and breakfast sandwich not at all busy ordered to eat in and gave table number was given a "chipped" mug of tea and then food came out in a takeaway box no apologies just chucked on table which isn't the end of the world but the attitude of the two staff (especially the man) was awful and to top it all teabag left in cup!!

Great place with a relaxed vibe and good music playing. A tad expensive for food and drink, but so is everywhere these days!

Manager really helped us out when we were in a pickle. No questions! Breakfast was fab. Spent a great few hours here. Wonderful service and food 😀

We visit this place a lot when we go to Cornwall. It’s a hidden gem of a place with stunning views of a sandy private beach that has ample car parking (which you have to pay for). They cater for everything Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Dinner weather it’s a quick bite, a full roast on the coast, a take away or nipping in for a coffee or alcoholic drink. We just love the staff, friendly without being overbearing and genuine. They always remember us even if we haven’t been for a couple of months. We have been every season and it’s so lovely to go to the beach bar and restaurant no matter the weather. It’s warm and inviting in the winter months and you feel like you’re abroad in the summer. All are welcomed including dogs which is lovely. We don’t have a dog but it’s so nice to see them relaxing too with their owners. The loos are basic it would be nice to be updated a bit but it doesn’t affect my review as it’s the least thing I’m worried about when visiting. We love this place and hope it stays true to itself and doesn’t become too commercialised or expensive. It’s a fantastic place to eat and relax 🩵🐚

Stunning spot on Millendreath Beach. The staff are lovely and friendly and provide excellent service. We didn't come for food but its such a nice spot decided to have the Save the Planet breakfast which was super value for two people and really tasty. Coffee and tea was really good too. Brilliant spot to walk to or stop off at along the coastal path walk. Thanks to the staff. Loved it.

This was our first visit here and if we are back on holiday in the area again, we would definitely come back! Super service; the staff are all very friendly and polite. We ordered food and had a burger each, which were cooked fresh to order and very tasty. A great beach cafe, with stunning views! It’s a popular place and it’s not hard to see why!

Having come down for a long weekend, we did not have the best of weather but luckily we had this great little bar/restaurant on our doorstep by the beach. After initially just coming in for a coffee in the morning, the staff were so lovely we decided to come back for lunch. Due to constant rain we stayed all afternoon, watching the 5oclock Euros game with some friendly locals. The food and service was excellent from Charlie, Yasmin and Anoshka . The England game was on the following day so we again came back for that and couldn’t have been made more welcome. We couldn’t leave without having Sunday lunch which there was far to much off and such reasonable price as was the wine. Highly recommend for food wine and drinks anytime of the day, especially for the staff!

Absolutely amazing from the start to the end of our small break away! Food is fantastic with a delicious Sunday lunch to top it all. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly and feel we’ve made friends. Watching the England game on the big screen was a huge bonus and the managers getting more of our favourite drink in was so lovely! Thank you to Yasmin, Charlie (can’t remember other names!) you were perfect 😍 we will be back!!!

Step in from the cold for a warm welcome, good menu and lively food. A useful stop when walking the footpath.

Absolutely lovely couple now running this place who are engaging, enthusiatic, and hard working on top of providing first class food and service with nothing being too much trouble. You have to try the pizzas which were fabulous and properly loaded to the eddges for once and terrific value for the amount you get. Hope to be back very soon.

This reopened as the Millendreath Beach Bar and Bistro at the end of May 2022. We visited Wednesday 15 June 2022. Nice selection of beach-side food - pizza, hotdogs, filled baps, fries - eat in or take away. Also great selection of crisps, snacks, cakes and ice cream. Various soft and alcoholic cold drinks and hot drinks too. Fantastic beach side location, food was fresh and really tasty. Prices good for the location. Would definitely recommend a visit.
