Fabulous location, right opposite the harbour. Perfect stop for breakfast before making a huge journey back up north after a week in Looe. Ordering was really easy, everything was cooked freshly and the host was so pleasant whilst we were waiting for our food too

We found it by chance and are glad we did. Really friendly staff, yummy cream tea with lovely coffee. All at a good price. Unfortunately, we left it too late to go back another day, and they were closing, but the staff was lovely and would have even served us despite wanting to go home. Highly recommended!

Warm retreat from a cold and rainy afternoon , located near the harbour and beach. Bijou deconstructed interior . Heartfelt welcome. Excellent cakes and tea. They prefer cash, but cards also accepted. Definitely worth seeking out,

A morning coffee visit on a crisp January day saw a warm welcome to The Lookout. Greeted by friendly staff, where nothing was too much trouble. Busy cafe with indoor and outdoor seating and perfect views. Will happily return for hopefully more than a coffee….can’t wait to try the gluten free treats that were calling my name in the shop window! Thank you so much for the friendly welcome

This place is a little gem. We were staying just down the road and even though the place is small they will take your number and call you when a table is free. The menu is varied, breakfasts, lunches, cream teas (which are amazing) and a large range of hot chocolates of all flavours, coffees, teas and cakes. The staff are the most happiest and helpful I've ever come across, especially the young lady with long blonde hair who was so cheerful and happy despite our teenagers having a variety of requests to their order. We went in there 3 times when we stayed in Looe. It's by far the best little coffee/breakfast/brunch/lunch/cornish cream tea place I've been to and I've been to loads in Looe. They are all nice but this one has a very nice atmosphere, twinkly lights (perhaps down to it being Christmas) and very nice decor throughout. We never had to wait long for a table, they would call us normally within 10 mins of them taking our number and we were a large group of 8. They always managed to squeeze us in without too much of a wait. The food was always amazing !!!

What a nice find and experience. Took a quick November trip to Cornwall Looe - and looked for a place for quick coffee and cake but and went past this place which looked cosy and quaint. Was buzzing and full so we so we tried several others in the Looe over the week. The last 2 days we got in early - and glad we did nice classy cozy and warm on a wet morning with a gentle buzz of chat and homeliness. First time we sat next to a guy working on his computer - who shortly after us sitting down, engaged us in a friendly chat - it was in fact Adrian one of the owners........what an interesting guy - a magician who moved down set up the cafe with his wife. But not just a cafe for visitors but for the community, hosting now and again small gatherings (eg mens, womens health meetings, jazz and gin nights etc). So not just a cafe but also supporting the community - and promoting interaction. However, we went there for a nice coffee and cake - and were not disappointed - coffee was great - best americano i have had - and i thought they were more or less all the same. Waffle was perfect sized portion. Second day, our last day in Looe - we went for the cook breakfast - again perfect size (and great to see three sizes of cook breakfast) - excellent portion size and local sourced produce. Although normally i am not a chatty guy in that atmosphere breeds casual interaction - and learnt alot and felt as a valued person/visitor........what a nice experience.....something i did not experience in other cafes in Looe/cornwall - that was just cafe and cake. I have to say loved the ethos, loved the experience and wished i had one of these on my doorsteps - i would be down then nearly every day.

Dropped in for lunch on a Saturday, what a fantastic find!! Funky and quirky vegan cafe. Loved the layout and decor. Best chai latte ever. Absolutely gorgeous tofu tacos, and the squash salad was sooo tasty. It’s dog friendly too!! Young lady was on her own front of house, and the cafe was full, she was run off her feet, but she was brilliant - well done!! Now top of our list for lunching in Mousehole!

Very good B&B in a very central location. But it is very expensive so 'value for money' comes into question. Very good cooked breakfast served in the mornings but for the money it should provide freshly squeezed orange juice.

We found our way to Freathy Farmhouse Cafe by following a sign from Whitsand Bay. What a lovely find! Very rustic and charming cafe. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed very generous sandwiches served with delicious salad. Some of us even managed cake! We will definitely return although I understand it is best to check opening times. Ps Loved the decor in the loo!
