The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South West

Ordered an hour and a half ago delivery time kept getting pushed back toastie is stone cold and the whip cream on my coffee has all melted into the drink

So, Tailors has some new additions to the menu! Last week we both tried the Shepard’s pie, absolutely delicious! Big chunks of lamb and really creamy mash! Yesterday, I tried the toad in the hole and was once again really pleased with my meal. Really tasty sausages and home mad Yorkshire pud, really lovely. Comfort food at its best. I’m moving on to their new range of jacket spuds next. See you soon team Tailors!

I can't put into words how bad this meal was and how extremely disappointed we all were. For many a year we as a family revisit Mevagissy as this was our parents favourite part of Cornwall. It's bad enough that all of their favourite haunts are closing or changing hands, their favourite fish and chip shop is rock bottom of the list. We have never been so disappointed with any food but this Wednesday I wanted to refuse payment but my brother wouldn't let me. The batter was burnt the fish inside was dry, my sisters plaice tasted funny but that was probably down to the stale fat it was cooked in, all the chip tasted like they had been over cooked, they were dry and crisp. My brother ordered ham egg and chips, after about 15mins he was told they had run out of ham but he could have an extra egg, when the bill arrived he got charged an extra £4 for one bloody egg, that's disgusting.

I love this place. Maybe I'm a bit biased as I grew up in st Ives but the location and the atmosphere especially during winter with the two lovely log burners set in grand old inglenook fire place really gives a cosy old traditional feel. The owner and staff were very friendly. I haven't tried the food yet but certainly will.

The worst Jane’s in Gloucester. 2 awful women in there, try and avoid and got to Greggs or Costa nearby decent service there

We dropped in on the off chance based on the reviews that we’d read. I had tried to call to book a table but got no reply from either number. We didn’t feel at all welcome when we did drop in and didn’t bother staying for food. Won’t be visiting again.

Great food lovely staff highly recommended

Visited as a group of ten at 4pm on a January Thursday early in the New Year. To some establishments a larger group turning up unexpectedly at that time of day between lunch and evening could cause some issues with the quality of service or food, but not at The Floating Bridge. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the level of service and hospitality throughout was excellent. The food was served in good time and was excellent quality that everyone enjoyed. The selection of deserts on offer was tempting, but in my case proved to be more than my appetite would allow! Many thanks for your care and attention during our visit, we would highly recommend this restaurant and bar to visitors to Dartmouth.

I was in the pub on the evening of the 5th of January 2025 and was very impressed with the customer service from both staff on that particular night extremely friendly and professional and also the food was brilliantly prepared and also the chef had a degree of flexibility around choice which was lovely. It’s particularly around the steak. I was very impressed and felt very comfortable in the pub. If I’m gonna be honest, I’ve not been in the pub since December 2015 where I had a bad experience, but this was absolutely lovely tonight and I will definitely be going back in again

The prices have gone up slightly, and the amount of food you get on the plate has reduced
