Brilliant sunday dinner ! I had melt in the mouth lamb , good choice of veg and meats

Excellent pub who host a bike nite that has some truly amazing and welcoming people who attend. Staff are very polite and friendly and they do an awesome burger 🍔

Good food. Went on sunday for the carvery. Party of 12. Staff couldnt have been more helpful. Original booking was for 8 but they moved tables around to sit all 12 of us together. Been back again tonight and food was good again. Anyone staying on the Haven site across the are better of going to the lighthouse.

We didn't eat here, but the menu looked great and what we saw being served looked delicious. The music was loud but the atmosphere was good.

Bike night on Tuesdays is awesome, nice to see a place bikers are welcome. Nice place, nice food and super staff. A really nice pub, how a pub should be, before chain pubs ruined them all. Lovely atmosphere will definitely return here.

Booked a table for fathers day. Carvery was amazing. The guy serving the carvery was amazing and polite considering he was doing all the work himself while the bar staff stood around chatting. Food could have been a little hotter but was understandable considering the lack of assistance to the guy serving the carvery.

The food was very tasty but the chips were cold and the music was very loud and you couldn't hear yourself talking

Food wasn't great. It was edible but spoiled by being overcooked. Pity because the burger was a nice thick one. It was beer battered. It was this batter that let it down. My sister had the beer battered cod, again overcooked and the fish was dry. May have been better by keeping it simple. Plain burger and normal batter on the fish. There weren't many options on the menu that didn't contain some kind of pork product, sausages or bacon. Would have liked to see more alternatives for non pork eaters. A vegan/vegetarian version perhaps? The breakfast sounded lovely, but with pork sausages, bacon and black pudding being the bulk of it, I couldn't risk it. It causes havoc with my digestion! The staff were very pleasant and friendly,and service was good.

Nice little boozer off the holiday park reasonably cheap lager wise staff were fantastic 👌 I went in a couple of times I watched the football and got speaking with some locals I was made welcome if I ever get down that way again I'll definitely pop in 👌

amazing family friendly pup that hosts a motorcycle night every Tuesday. everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the bikes and a nice cold pint. they also serve food and occasionally have a BBQ. Great place to relax

Husband and wife hosts Ben & Sophie are the most warm and welcoming a couple as you could wish to meet. The staff are great too and the food exceptional quality and not overpriced. There was brilliant live entertainment when we visited and we had a fantastic time. A real must visit !!!

Absolutely awful. Went here this evening for New Year. Was a complete shambles. My friend complained and the landlady literally chased us including my children out of the pub and car park whilst verbally abusing us. I have honestly never witnessed anything like it

The food was very good value and all four in our party were satisfied with the service. We had seen some poor reviews and were concerned that we might be disappointed. Not the case at all. It may be different if there is football on one of the big screens, conversation impossible and slower service but I enjoyed my beautifully cooked surf and turf and would happily eat here again.

Lovely little pub. We was staying at Haven Burnham on Sea and wanted to go out for a good roast. Looked it up, couldn't find how to book a table but luckily we squeezed in at 1.10pm. They let us sit at a table that was booked for 2pm, we said we would be quick. For a wine, a orange juice, adult carvery & small carvery it was less than £25 and it did not disappoint! So tasty the beef and turkey was so juicy. My daughter demolished hers as did I. Great choice of meat - beef, lamb, pork, turkey & great choice of veg - broccoli, peas, sweetcorn, carrots, green beans, cauliflower cheese, parsnips and of course roast potatoes - which were amazing. Can add all the condiments you want such as apple sauce, cranberry, mint & horseradish and loads of gravy. Highly recommend!! Service was speedy & they were friendly too. Nice little pub with a mini park too

I've just popped in for lunch with my boys and whilst they only serve Sunday carvery on a Sunday I must say it's one of the best Sunday lunches I have ever had. For a large roast at £12 the portion was huge a great selection of meat I had lamb and turkey with all the trimmings. The gravy was insane I'm very full. My boys were happy with their ice cream and snacks. Lovely pub and will return again when we come for another holiday. Very happy satisfied customer thank you

You'll find this very friendly local a two minute walk from Haven Holiday Village, Burnham-on-Sea. Very welcoming and friendly. A proper local pub/eatery. Would definitely visit again.

We'd heard this was a great place to eat, so thought we'd give it a try as passing. Very quite. Restricted Menu as they had a busy weekend. No Chicken, Pie, or Lasagne. We managed to find a couple of things we liked. Not very busy, but food took sometime to arrive. It was OK. Pub could do with a paint, dead flies on windowsill, very sticky tables. Staff were pleasant.

First visit to watch tribute band Rude Awakening, excellent atmosphere and fast Service at the bar. Well impressed overall. Will return and sample food next time

Awful place with terrible staff and an aggressive rude landlord. The place has an unpleasant odour and is very unwelcoming even to local folk. It’s about time this place was bulldozed and made in to housing.

Cutlery not clean tables wet and sticky. Food not in any way like pictures on net. We’ve been there a lot in the past but will make sure we avoid going there again. Pity we would have gone there from time to time

We were staying at a nearby caravan site and decided to try this pub for a few drinks and dinner. It was a very hot Saturday late afternoon and we had our 3 grandchildren with us so the bouncy castle and sandpit would have been very welcome, My husband waited patiently at the bar and when it was his turn a local man walked to the bar. The barmaid went to serve the local man who very kindly said that my husband was next to which the barmaid gave the local a big smile and said no he’s not you are and then glared hostilely at my husband. When my husband eventually got served he commented on her rudeness and hostility. We drank our drinks and went somewhere far more friendly and welcoming for dinner. Customers all seemed friendly enough, the problem is the staff, well one of them at least! Not somewhere I would recommend unless you live locally,

Nice pub could do with a refurb inside though as looking very tired, large outside area good for kids, food is decent and tasty, menu looks good, drinks are reasonably priced, staff cheerful

Thought we'd give the venue a try as we read they had a new chef and good reviews. Upon entering we got a very frosty and unwelcoming feeling from the Bar staff. The place smelt of urine. Ordered a cider and had to go outside to drink as could not stand the smell. so decided not to order a meal and left . Will NOT return

Diamond in the rough this place! We stayed at the haven sight opposite the pub with our 5 and 8 year old. We visited 3 nights in a row, the kids loved the play area and bouncy castle, plenty of other children too. Service excellent, great value too! If you are in the area I would highly recommend

If you want to play pool don’t come here u will have to pay £5 in cash plus 50p for a game and it’s a tip off

Nice pub l, lots of event and live music etc. Great selection of drinks....old rascal on tap is always a win 😉 play ground outside for kids plenty of seats in beer garden.

Typical local pub, with friendly and helpful staff, but what is outstanding about this place is the quality of the food. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area looking for something decent to eat.

Part of the local group of bikers that meet on Tuesday evenings 6pm until 9pm. We are a very friendly group of mostly mature bikers riding a mixture of trikes and classic tourers and some dantastic hogs .We travel from all over Somerset. It has a good atmosphere better than some bigger bike nights that loose that atmosphere. We welcome anyone to come and see our bikes or have a chat. We are very friendly as are the group organisers and Landloerd is very accommodating. The food is delicious. We are based around the side and back of the pub

Pub now has new menu, four of us had, lasagne, steak and mushrooms, chilli burgher and a chicken burgher. Chips were great, salad lovely and fresh. Food arrived hot, looked great and tasted even better. The steak was really nice.

We had a lovely meal and the owner's are really friendly.

2023 and under new management, was a nice atmosphere, new menu was all nice and a live singer who was great. Will definitely go back again now.

The New Managers have began to put their own stamp as only took over in April. Ben has introduced a great menu which is served all day (love the subs @ lunch time). The Lager is served in Ice cold glasses, which keep the drinks lively throughout. Dog friendly in all areas. Great pub right opposite Haven. If your on holiday give it a go, it's a great place to take the whole family, as it has a play area to.

Super Sunday Carvery (cauliflower cheese was absolutely amazing)! Staff were friendly & helpful, particularly the chef who chatted to us all telling us about the new opening and how he’d cooked the beef, which was delicious, despite being extremely busy. We were a party of nine with a very little one and all thought it was lovely. Few tweaks which I’m sure will be ironed out as just reopened. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again when back in the area.

Lovely carvery and friendly staff, especially the chef who was happy to chat to us, and told us all about the new opening. We visited as a family of 9 with a very little one and they were accommodating and kind to us all - nice atmosphere. Only thing is as it’s newly re-open there are of course a few tweaks to be made, and could perhaps do with more staff to keep tables clean and things running smoothly.

Lovely little pub with decent sized portions of food. Friendly staff and not expensive. Had some lovely games of pool with the family and we very much enjoyed ourselves.

Visited twice whilst on holiday both times staff were extremely rude.Customer service training needs to be given here I think.Pub was also dirty and rundown would never attempt another visit here.

Went on Sunday night was told could not have a drink as it was 10.31 pm. Next evening the staff said they were open until 12.30 so why were we not served. Went to have a drink on Monday night at 21.50 staff came out...

Went for Sunday lunch, service was very slow and very poor. Obviously a new lad on duty who had not had enough training. Order roast pork lunch, food was OK but it could have done with being a bit warmer. No puddings available at all!...

Waited outside as per socia9l distancing waited 20 minutes to be served staff coming in and out but seemed locals served but tourists ignored. Eventually got served but no chance of being served again walked out in the end they need to get there act...

Called in when passing through, we both chose corned beef hash. The bowl it came in was hot, the cheese on top was warm and melted, but the corned beef underneath was stone cold. The onion not cooked through either. Clearly no temperature probe was...

This is the best meal I’ve had in a long time! I had the tortellini with ham and my partner had the beef lasagna. The presentation was outstanding and it taste just as good. Would definitely recommend to someone who is looking for good food...

Excellent carvery. Meat very tasty and well cooked. Good size portions. Choice of small or large and good selection of veg. Small is definitely not small. Will certainly come back.

Once again a lovely meal, pipping hot. Friendly atmosphere awaiting the England game against Sweden. The staff welcoming, friendly and very pleasant.

Dropped in for Sunday lunch with extended family. Great meal with good choice of meat and especially good choice of vegetables, managed to get kids to eat several veg. Especially good yorkshire puddings. Did book but it wasn't too busy and there was tables available.

Heard about the food here so was looking forward to a nice family lunch on a Saturday Afternoon. Was VERY upset to witness a fight between a large group of men and another table having a drink in the garden!! Based on their clientele I...

On the whole this place has a pleasing and roomy atmoshere and there are some nice finishing touches with teapots on display.... i was particularly impressed with some of a tapestry and big screen tv but very disappointed with the meals served on the day of our visit... the last time we came here an excellent carvery was served but midweek meals seem to be sometimes a bit mediocre and I would have thought more attention would have been given to meals for a Friday... the Gammon and chips with egg turned out to be 2 slices of ham... chips were cold and the peas served with them could have been used in my grandsons pea shooter.... my husband's meal of hunters chicken was rubbery. . It was served on top of a tepid bbq sauce instead of having it's sauce served over the meat leaving it dry and tough the only thing decent on it was the bacon.. another family member ordered the pie whose crust was still soggy and not even cooked properly..one of the lighthouse assets seems to its carpark which has room for visitors but it falls down on its toilet facilities where its only hand dryer is on the wall over the sink making it impossible for disabled people or small adults unable to reach it.. we met a person in the toilet wirh a height genetic condition and asked her how she dried her hands when the dryer was situated over the sink.. she informed us that she had to use toilet paper from the toilet.

Our second time coming to the lighthouse inn for Sunday dinner we always get welcomed and the food is always fresh and lovely to eat.

This is a strange one to write, as I’m not really complaining, but just have to say we found our Sunday carvery a bit boring I suppose? Just lacking in the nice varying tastes that you normally get from a carvery.

We visited this pub yesterday having looked for somewhere close to the haven site. The exterior appearance of the property is a little off putting ( I'm thinking the jockey from shameless ) but inside a friendly welcome, lovely good quality food and nice ambience awaits. Kids had a Carvery and it was amazing value.

Visited for food and drink one night while staying at haven over the road. Ordered food which was ok but nothing amazing,also staff couldn’t wait to get rid of us started clearing plates while people still eating. Staff not overly friendly.

My husband and i had a meal here on saturday afternoon and it was lovely. Although the place was busy with a party the food arrived in quick time. Hot and tasty. We had an evening meal here on a Friday - staff very friendly. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Fantastic play park for all age children. Food was very reasonably priced and all home cooked. We all had a delicious meal. Lots of locals were in which gave it a lovely feel. We would definitely come here again when we come back to Burnham.

Have been here several times over the years, the last time in June 2016 and will definately be going again in 2018.
