We were so impressed with everything the Pub had to offer that we found it extremely clean and comfortable Before we left, we decided to book a Sunday lunch for a few weeks' time, as so impressed we're we !! Code our waitress was amazing! Such a happy girl and so willing to please! She knew how much I loved the sauce with the sticky chicken so brought me a bit more! Food was also lovely!

Codi served us today lunchtime. She was very friendly, bubbly and professional. She even got different alternative foods for my brother who is a fussy eater.

Lovely place.Staff were totally unable to get an order right.I heard a lot of people complaining about wrong food.Their idea of a salad was half a plate of shredded lettuce covered in oil.

My first time, my wife is a regular who ordered her usual, which included Sweet Potato fries which arrived burnt. A member of staff took her plate to the kitchen and returned with it saying that 'Its ok, they are meant to be that colour. I informed the young lady that we were not complaining that they looked burnt (which they did), but that they tasted burnt. Away she went again and returned saying it would not be worth replacing them, as they all come out like that... But offered to replace them with normal chips. By the time they had done all this, the rest of the meal was cold... So, if you want awful customer service, consistently burnt fries (remember, 'they all come out like that'), or an adequate burger that's more expensive than a Burger King but not quite as good, or indeed Jingle Bells being played to you in September (I kid you not) - The White Willow is the place for you... 🤦

Just called in to the white willow (again) for bite to eat and a pint, Codi was dressed as a Christmas tree, which was a bit of surprise as it’s only September, she’s always bubbly, friendly and works really hard 👍

I have been to The White Willow many times and this past time was my favourite. My server ( Cody or Codi not sure how it was spelt) was extremely polite and helpful and truly made the experience more enjoyable. Food is always amazing.

Easy to book online, accept dogs, and the food is always fresh and very tasty. Staff are always polite and it gives the impression of a 'well run ship' not like some establishments where people are running around like headless chickens, staff here co-ordinate bookings and you hear them talking and working together as it gets busy.

Down visiting family and came in on the Saturday night for food. Seated straight away. Lovely surroundings and atmosphere. Served very quickly for food and drinks order. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time. Stopped in for dinner and had a lovely meal. It wasn't too much. We had a soup of the day, which was tomato soup, then sausage and mash and cherry and apple pie. The sausage and mash were very delicious. Wasn't keen on the cherry and apple pie. Overall, it was a good experience.

A further visit listed below - not so good this time! Helpful staff, food very good, service could be a little quicker AND WHY only one proper beer - you have 8 pumps! At least your other site, The Bear, often has a guest ale? Edit: Just had another visit with friends and very disappointing - probably should downgrade the stars but I am hoping it was a one off? Any way, this is the feed back review they asked for - We are regular visitors and have had some enjoyable meals previously although as I commented in a previous review it is disappointing to only have one ale available with all those empty pumps on the bar! For this visit we brought some friends and unfortunately it was a rather poor experience. First of all there was a problem so there was no Prestige on tap. We were told that bottled Shipyard or Prestige were available so we ordered Shipyard then were told you actually only had Prestige! We all ordered roasts and my wife and I also ordered our usual Cauliflower cheese addition. When the meals arrived I noted that none contained the usual Parsnips? I queried this and was told none were available and were offered an extra piece of Carrot as an alternative. Surely this is not a professional attitude - to supply a meal with one of the constituents missing and hoping it would go unnoticed? As it happens three of us love roast Parsnips so we did notice! Obviously we should have been informed when the order was placed? Then the Cauliflower cheese arrived which comprised two scrawny small pieces, overcooked and with virtually zero cheesy sauce, looking lost in the bottom of the dish! Obviously I asked for a replacement and was subsequently informed they had run out. So, we obviously got the last scraps from the tray served up as a normal portion! All in all, a very disappointing visit and we almost felt cheated? I made our concerns known when I paid the bill but the attitude seemed to be that we should be grateful that we were refunded the Cauliflower cheese (!!!!) and we had one of your 30% codes for the meals and "did not know we had no Parsnips or Cauliflower cheese" Perhaps your kitchen staff should keep front of house staff a little more informed and not serve a sub-standard portions hoping the paying customer won't notice?

We've just had a very tasty early evening meal. Shay & all the staff were brilliant very helpful and friendly. We both opted for the pie , one Steak & Ale and One chicken & mushroom both of which were delicious. Thank you all at the White Willow we'll be back again!

We visited on Friday 8th March and were welcomed quickly and reminded about logging the car in the car park which was useful. We were served quickly and the menu had a great variety of dishes. The calamari bites as a starter were delicious. I could not fault the steak americano and haven’t seen this option elsewhere. The meat was cooked beautifully and had no gristle in it. When we finished our mains we were quickly served our desserts and they were tasty too. Maddie served us and she was really helpful, welcoming and nice to chat to and couldn’t have done more to make our visit enjoyable thank you Maddie

Nice staff, but the food I had was not nice. Everything I ordered appeared microwaved and lacked any real flavour, and the pint glasses had not been washed or rinsed properly.

We swore we'd NEVER go back to The White Willow! After several dreadful meals and bad experiences with staff arguing in front of customers. After hearing froma friend, that he'd had a few good meals recently and receiving a 30% off voucher, we decided to give it one last try. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was good and friendly. The food was good and the place was clean. We may be back again.

I visited here with my mum and two young children on mothers day In March 2024. The staff were all lovely and accommodating of our needs. The food was quickly brought out and looked nice. Food quality was good and worth the money. The area we were in was cosy and clean and well kept. A nice atmosphere and good food. 👍 will visit again.

Fantastic Gluten Free menu- I had 3 courses - lots of options available - including desserts - not your usual option of fruit salad or brownie - I had Gluten free sticky toffee pudding which was divine - would definitely come back just for the pudding!!!! Good range of beers and non alcoholic drinks too. Highly recommend and Codi the waitress was lovely too

Had a good experience with good service. Dean, I believe he was called apologised for our food taking so long. It wasn't an issue for us as we knew we had ordered after lots of others, including a big group. Although our 4-year-old granddaughter was very vocal about being hungry.
