Lovely food , good service . Will go back again

A brilliant pub in a great location. A lovely warm atmosphere. The staff are very welcoming and can’t do enough for you,they go above and beyond!! especially dean who welcomed us and made our experience better. A 10/10 pub! We will definitely be returning 😀

We've just had a very tasty early evening meal. Shay & all the staff were brilliant very helpful and friendly. We both opted for the pie , one Steak & Ale and One chicken & mushroom both of which were delicious. Thank you all at the White Willow we'll be back again!

Ok for a quick drink, food not so inspiring. Felt it was still expensive for a meal for 2 -£50 even with a 30% off voucher staff attentive and helpful

Nice staff, but the food I had was not nice. Everything I ordered appeared microwaved and lacked any real flavour, and the pint glasses had not been washed or rinsed properly.

We visited on Friday 8th March and were welcomed quickly and reminded about logging the car in the car park which was useful. We were served quickly and the menu had a great variety of dishes. The calamari bites as a starter were delicious. I could not fault the steak americano and haven’t seen this option elsewhere. The meat was cooked beautifully and had no gristle in it. When we finished our mains we were quickly served our desserts and they were tasty too. Maddie served us and she was really helpful, welcoming and nice to chat to and couldn’t have done more to make our visit enjoyable thank you Maddie

We swore we'd NEVER go back to The White Willow! After several dreadful meals and bad experiences with staff arguing in front of customers. After hearing froma friend, that he'd had a few good meals recently and receiving a 30% off voucher, we decided to give it one last try. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was good and friendly. The food was good and the place was clean. We may be back again.

I visited here with my mum and two young children on mothers day In March 2024. The staff were all lovely and accommodating of our needs. The food was quickly brought out and looked nice. Food quality was good and worth the money. The area we were in was cosy and clean and well kept. A nice atmosphere and good food. 👍 will visit again.

Fantastic Gluten Free menu- I had 3 courses - lots of options available - including desserts - not your usual option of fruit salad or brownie - I had Gluten free sticky toffee pudding which was divine - would definitely come back just for the pudding!!!! Good range of beers and non alcoholic drinks too. Highly recommend and Codi the waitress was lovely too

went in for a sweet treat with a few friends and was quickly sat down at a table. we were served by a girl named codi and she provided us with excellent service. we got a variety of desserts but all agreed that the cheesecake was our favourite!! will be back soon:)

The White Willow is a pleasant venue and the pub food is good.

Service was very slow took a long time to get drinks and food order taken, then even longer for these to arrive.

Great not sure how many miles the lass behind the bar does in a day but she never seems to stop, highly recommend

Had a lovely meal here yesterday and the food passed our expectations massively. Ashley was brilliant and made sure we had everything we needed and even helped me decided on what to have as I was stuck! A great decision too I must add.

I came in on Sunday and I regularly get served by Codi who never fails to provide great service! So glad the lamb shank is back! 😍

Had a good experience with good service. Dean, I believe he was called apologised for our food taking so long. It wasn't an issue for us as we knew we had ordered after lots of others, including a big group. Although our 4-year-old granddaughter was very vocal about being hungry.

Had a wonderful Christmas meal and Mac was very efficient and helpful.

Our waiter was so polite and helpful. The food was lovely and the kids had a play on the little play area. A gluten free menu. Perfect for our stay at a nearby hotel.

Popped over from the Premier Inn. Food was okay, usual pub fair. Service was really good from Codi, who was really helpful especially when there was an issue with our flatbread (rock solid) Would visit again.

Excellent visit to this establishment yesterday. Our server Codi was attentive and very friendly. She made us feel very welcome even though it was busy. I had a rib eye steak and my partner had the kebabs. My steak was cooked to perfection...it was so good that I asked to speak to the chef. It was busy but we waited until he was free. Out came a rather handsome man called Nathan. He oozed confidence and was eloquently spoken. All and all because of these fine two people we will definitely be coming back. My only suggestion is to let Nathan come front of house more because we can never have enough eye candy hey 😉

My second visit to the White Willow and the staff are so friendly, I was served by Shannon and she was so helpful and welcoming. The food was lovely, I enjoyed a burger from the specials board. I'll be returning, I live in Hampshire but travelled to visit relatives and we went back there for a second time.

Today I went in to the restaurant for a meal with 2 colleagues and 4 residents with learning disabilities 2 of which were in large wheelchairs we walked in asked very politely if we could have a table the lady who greeted us was very rude she took one look the the residents and said I don’t know if we have the space the place was practically empty she walked off then came back and said I will find you a table she took us over to the corner by the toilets and said this is your table do whatever you want with it and move the table if you like the space was tiny barely enough space for four people let alone 6 and 2 in wheelchairs the man at the bar was very lovely but the woman was rude she made us feel like we had been put out of the way so nobody could see us it was very cramped with hardly enough room to eat the food on the other hand was lovely and came out quite quickly but the way the lady made us all feel was not great

This was my first visit to the White Willow while staying with my boyfriend nearby. We took his mum out for dinner. We booked a table, which I'm glad we did, as Wednesday nights are pub quiz night so can get really busy. We were seated straight away, staff were all polite, friendly and helpful. The food was quick to be served and really tasty. We had a sharing platter to start, then scampi, along with a burger and a chicken dish from the specials menu. All really enjoyable, no complaints. Will absolutely visit again, I'm looking forward to trying more things on the menu.

Staff pleasant and service fine. The portion sizes of vegetables accompanying meal were very meagre (child portion).When asked for additional informed they are pre-measured and would have to pay to get an adequate serving. I suggest that these portions are reviewed by establishment.

We visited for lunch today. Our waitress Codi was brilliant. She was attentive, happy to amend our order for my fussy teen and check in to make sure the food was ok. The roast was amazing. Cant wait to come back.

A first visit for us at this restaurant. We live local but never considered popping in till we saw an advert online. The pub does have a big car park right outside the building. You can sit indoors or outdoors, and there's a small play area. Parking is free but you have to register before getting to a table. Ordering is at the bar area which is spacious and clean. The service was quick and friendly. We ordered fish and chips, and a burger. Food arrived within 15 minutes, well presented and hot. Everything was gone so that's a good sign. We didn't have deserts so I can't comment or recommend any. Our final bill was a very good price, as we did have a 30%off voucher to use, we found on the website. Overall happy and we will bring the kids next time 😊

Been here twice now with a friend and each time we have had the ribeye steak, food was great and the service was exceptional. Ideal play park for the kids in a great location. Would highly recommend.

Came in for a family meal, we were served by a lovely young girl named codi who made our entire night! Even though she was not our main waitress for the night, she still came over and provided us with such perfect assistance that i started wishing she was our waitress! Great meal, great atmosphere. Have been to the white willow a few times now with my son for food and I am never disappointed. Codi our server was fantastic,very polite and happy she made us feel very comfortable. My little boy jack thinks she’s great. Thank for yet again a great experience especially to codi for being great with my little boy. 👍👍

Came for lunch on Tuesday and everything was just the way it should be. The two girls knew what they were doing and so pleasant and refreshing. They were there every time you needed them but always came over to see if we needed anything else. Thank you to them both and we hope they get the recognition they deserve as they are both stars.
