First time in this restaurant. Was quiet as we were first in there. Ordered our food and didn't take long and it was hot and tasty but half way through eating my lasagna I found a PC of clingfilm. Put it on the side of my plate as I didn't know I had to complain while I was still eating and not at the end.although I didn't want to make a fuss but I told the girl that came to pick up our plates while we were leaving. She did apologise and said she'll tell the cook but again I was expecting of a more apologetic sorry than just be very calm about it.i would have been mortified about it.(I am a cook in my work)but hey ho.

Staff came across as professional. The cost of a pint of tap water and cordial at £1.95 was expensive. My other guests cleared their plates my meal chorizo mac and cheese was over cooked and crunchy plus the garlic cheobatta was just dripping with grease. I left all the food and don't plan on returning. It's a shame as the staff are friendly just poor presentation and over cooking of a very simple meal.

Had dinner tonight at White Willow and it was amazing. From the quick attention from when we entered, to the amazing service from Emily our server, to the food itself was just amazing. Emily was amazing, she smiled throughout and was very polite and pleasant to speak to, definitely an asset to the place. The atmosphere was lovely, and it was very clean throughout. The food arrived and the portion was great, Emily even managed to organise for me to bring home my left overs! Cannot recommend enough!!

My husband and I decided we’d have a meal out and were pleased to be able to get in at short notice. There were several others there but not too busy or too noisy. The food was delicious, my husband had a steak and I had the sweet potato curry, both meals were lovely. We shared a dessert, apple & cherry crumble- again lovely. Bonus was a 30% discount on mains, so a really affordable evening out and all the staff were helpful and friendly, especially our waitress Emily. Thanks for making it a good evening. Definitely worth a visit, and currently a 2-4-1 promo on no/ low alcohol drinks, so good time to check them out too.

I was in the pub on the evening of the 5th of January 2025 and was very impressed with the customer service from both staff on that particular night extremely friendly and professional and also the food was brilliantly prepared and also the chef had a degree of flexibility around choice which was lovely. It’s particularly around the steak. I was very impressed and felt very comfortable in the pub. If I’m gonna be honest, I’ve not been in the pub since December 2015 where I had a bad experience, but this was absolutely lovely tonight and I will definitely be going back in again

We had a great experience here! Millie at the bar was lovely, so calm and attentive to my large order and did not rush me at all. She got the order right first time and answered all my questions. Millie gave a brilliant first impression of what was to come. The food was hot and excellent quality and it was dog friendly too, with a fire. This was lush. The food came in a reasonable amount of time and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were lovely and friendly. Will definitely visit again.

The Christmas day 3 course lunch was absolutely amazing No complaints at all from any of my party. The staff were very friendly happy and welcoming the food was out of this world.

Lovely pub with great cosy atmosphere. All the staff were polite, friendly and accommodating especially as we were a walk in booking. The food was delicious and reasonable priced and the menu had something for everyone including children. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

A friend and I visited The White Willow today for lunch. The food was excellent and very good value and was served very promptly as we needed to leave by a certain time. Dean and Ashley were really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Very professional members of staff and real assets to the restaurant.

Food was lovely. Staff were attentive and friendly. We had a party of 9 for a Christmas family meet l with two kids. Put near the Xmas tree and we had pre ordered so it was super quick.

Spontaneous visit - Saturday evening and was fairly busy. Great service from Dean & Emily - friendly to both the adults and children in our party, nothing was too much trouble. Didn't wait long for food either - results. Would recommend.

The White Willow is a pleasant venue and the pub food is good.

Stay across the rd with work and visit this pub nightly, very good food, best in the area. All the staff a great and make you fell very welcome. Well worth a visit if your in the area.
