Lovely family meal for our daughters birthday. Food was great

We arrived for Sunday lunch and me and the family really enjoyed it! The service was amazing we had a good laugh with the waitress, food was served quickly and it was all delicious! The beers were great I was recommended a nice pint of ale. My friends had ciders and a lovely gin and tonic was recommended. We will be back again soon!

We had an excellent visit, food was delicious, great drinks and good banter with the staff. We’ll definitely be back soon! Thanks to Meryl for the great service!

Went here for lunch on Sunday. The place was quiet but the food still took 30 minutes to arrive. That’s fine if the food was nice. Sadly it was average at best. My partner had a steak that was overcooked and tough. I had a lamb rump which was overcooked and lacking flavour. Our toddler son had roast turkey and the veg was undercooked and also lacking flavour. Not a great way to spend £60 and we won’t be coming back

We very often travel from South Wales to Cornwall and this is our stop-off point. We charge the car outside, if the weather is nice, the kids play in the garden and we always have a family meal together. We have one adult who is strictly gluten-free. We enjoy the fact that there is a separate gluten-free menu. The only frustrating thing is that there is no set lunch menu for gluten-free. Which means that it's significantly more expensive for just one person. However, we like the kids menu and that price bracket. And at the moment, there's 30% off main meals. And we love the fact that we can bring our dog inside. The staff are usually very friendly and helpful. The space is incredibly clean and has a welcoming feel.

Had a lovely meal with my partner last night and the food was fantastic! The venue itself was really nice, well laid out and very clean. The staff in there were very professional and accommodating. We were catered to by a lovely lady called Suzie, who was very polite, held herself in a professional manor and came across to us as a hard worker, as not only was she accommodating to me and my partner, but also to many tables on what was a busy night, all while smiling and making sure everybody was looked after. Will definitely be back again!

Visited on a Thursday night as we were staying at the hotel opposite. The staff were all superb and friendly and the pub was clean and inviting. Food itself was gorgeous. Starters and mains were demolished by all and comments made such as ‘best pub meal I’ve had’ Honestly wish we lived closer so we could visit again.

When Claire and her team are about you simply get the best service from the moment you walk in to ordering your food & drinks to it arriving on your plate we where a group of 12 and had lots of different requests and everything was no trouble and the food came out hot and most of all tasty and such good value for money

I went against my thought process that the food is below par but unfortunately I was right.I found it a expensive Harvester type affair but the food is better in Harvester.I won't go again.

Went for a meal with my family for Easter. Our server Suzanne was very attentive and always insured we were happy. I had the salmon and the rest of my family had roasts everyone was very content with their meals would definitely recommend

I feel £81 for 3 meals 1 desert 2 non alcoholic drinks and 1 alcoholic drink was way too expensive. I also has a 30% off voucher to use but because it was Easter weekend I couldn't use it apparently. So needless to say I really am not happy

Had such a great time here! The atmosphere was spot on – really relaxed and welcoming. The staff were all lovely, but a special shoutout to Ayrton behind the bar – super friendly, had a great vibe, and made us feel really looked after. Drinks were perfect, food was beautiful and tasted amazing. Honestly can’t fault a thing. Will definitely be back!

We were given a friendly welcome and our table was clean and well appointed. Service for drinks was prompt, but the food order was not taken for some time, and there was an extended wait for the food to arrive. However, the delays was not unacceptable, as it was clear that the limited number of staff were stretched to provide service to the customers. More service staff would have been helpful. The waitress who served us was friendly and efficient.

Service and welcome from the staff was brilliant. We took our dog, Molly and they all made a fuss of her. So welcoming for dogs. Food was excellent. Will be back in next week or two.

The staff were polite and friendly and the place generally feels clean with a nice atmosphere. However the service was extremely slow, we waited 40 mins for our starters and a further 30 for our mains. The only thing that came promptly were the desserts. It did not appear to be busy, but I could only see 3 staff for the whole place. The starter tasted good and was presented nicely but I would say over priced at 7 quid for halloumi fries. The cauliflower wings were lovely but neither starter came with the roasted garlic mayo advertised. The mains I would say were definitely over priced. I was glad I had come with a voucher. I had the signature flatbread with halloumi kebab, it was definitely not worth the £16. The kebab had precisely 3 small pieces of halloumi so I basically ended up with a mediocre flatbread with a tonne of wilting salad and then a few pieces of roasted veg and 3 bits of halloumi. I couldn’t understand why it was priced similarly to the meat which is obviously more expensive to produce. My son enjoyed his burger. My daughter ate off the kids menu and the mash with the sausages was in a round patty and my daughter didn’t really want to eat it. The desserts were faultless and delicious. Over all I would say not worth the prices on the menus, and even with a voucher I wasn’t thrilled with what it had cost me. If thinking about visiting maybe go for drinks and dessert.

We came in today and was greeted seconds from arriving in the door. We were shown to a lovely table which was very clean. Our server suzie was so polite and friendly, very helpful with the menu options, she gave up plenty of time to make decisions and was helpful when ordering more drinks when she checked up on us too. Overall, Was a lovely experience.

A great place to stop by for a meal, the sirloin steak was cooked to perfection and I loved the beef dripping gravy!

Popped in for lunch yesterday the guy on the front desk was very polite. Quite a few people inside and out in the beer garden .I had the steak pie with mash and veg and my wife had sea bass and potato's and veg both meals were very good .large selection of beers and ciders on offer .would definitely return plus the 30% did help thank you everybody at the white willow

Burger was a bit dry but overall food was nice. Most of the staff were friendly just one of the serving staff were rude and nearly tipped my whole drink over the table and just walked off leaving me to clean up the split drink.

Beth was our waitress, she was very helpful and made us feel welcome.

Another great visit. Last night we ate then stayed for the Charity Music Bingo! We both had chicken kebabs which were amazing, but the bingo was such good fun! Will definitely be back for food and would love to see a regular bingo!

My husband and I decided we’d have a meal out and were pleased to be able to get in at short notice. There were several others there but not too busy or too noisy. The food was delicious, my husband had a steak and I had the sweet potato curry, both meals were lovely. We shared a dessert, apple & cherry crumble- again lovely. Bonus was a 30% discount on mains, so a really affordable evening out and all the staff were helpful and friendly, especially our waitress Emily. Thanks for making it a good evening. Definitely worth a visit, and currently a 2-4-1 promo on no/ low alcohol drinks, so good time to check them out too.

Lovely pub and great service, the 2 burgers we ordered were delicious and restaurant staff were polite and friendly however, the bar supervisor was rude and told us that the table we had sat on was booked! And that we needed to move in quite an aggressive manner. As such we won’t be retuning! never mind the dirty fork , that Bar man had no interest in changing, simply dismissing it to one of the junior waiters to deal with….

For a burger i expected the cheese to be melted

New menu is great, the signature burger with beef brisket and smoked bacon is lush. Chicken thigh off the bone starter is yummy. Sunday roasts have good meat and lots of fresh veg. 😋😋 plus dogs very welcome and looked after

Definitely a lovely place to visit!! Used to be but they do not seem to have adequate members of staff to cope with lunchtime orders.

Emily our server never came to check up on how our mains where, nobody came to see if we wanted deserts which we had to go up and order by the bar when they finally arrived I asked for some cream which I was told she was going to get and never seen her again! Very rude customer service won’t be coming back!

We came here supporting a client with severe autism. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very extensive gluten free menu which was great for our client. If I could suggest one thing it would be to advertise the gluten free menu on your website as we nearly didn't come due to seeing only one gluten free item on the regular menu.

Husband uses wheelchair I pre-booked and they seated us in a lovely window seat not shoved in a corner that was appreciated reference toilets Very clean and the doors to toilet area stayed open as did disabled toilet door which was perfect when manoeuvring wheelchair,through New to area. We try lots of different eating places. So the disabled facilities are important to us give you a good rating for your thoughtfulness thanks

Loved the food/atmosphere would definitely recommend this place. We also had excellent service by our server Emily who was very pleasant.

Firstly they had run out of most things . I had a roast it was cold . Asked for gravy which too was cold . Very disappointed with the place . They need to bring back the old management as can’t see this place surviving without 30 percent off . I would not have been happy if I had paid full price .
