White Willows in Sedgemoor

The staff were polite and friendly and the place generally feels clean with a nice atmosphere. However the service was extremely slow, we waited 40 mins for our starters and a further 30 for our mains. The only thing that came promptly were the desserts. It did not appear to be busy, but I could only see 3 staff for the whole place. The starter tasted good and was presented nicely but I would say over priced at 7 quid for halloumi fries. The cauliflower wings were lovely but neither starter came with the roasted garlic mayo advertised. The mains I would say were definitely over priced. I was glad I had come with a voucher. I had the signature flatbread with halloumi kebab, it was definitely not worth the £16. The kebab had precisely 3 small pieces of halloumi so I basically ended up with a mediocre flatbread with a tonne of wilting salad and then a few pieces of roasted veg and 3 bits of halloumi. I couldn’t understand why it was priced similarly to the meat which is obviously more expensive to produce. My son enjoyed his burger. My daughter ate off the kids menu and the mash with the sausages was in a round patty and my daughter didn’t really want to eat it. The desserts were faultless and delicious. Over all I would say not worth the prices on the menus, and even with a voucher I wasn’t thrilled with what it had cost me. If thinking about visiting maybe go for drinks and dessert.

We came in today and was greeted seconds from arriving in the door. We were shown to a lovely table which was very clean. Our server suzie was so polite and friendly, very helpful with the menu options, she gave up plenty of time to make decisions and was helpful when ordering more drinks when she checked up on us too. Overall, Was a lovely experience.

A great place to stop by for a meal, the sirloin steak was cooked to perfection and I loved the beef dripping gravy!

Burger was a bit dry but overall food was nice. Most of the staff were friendly just one of the serving staff were rude and nearly tipped my whole drink over the table and just walked off leaving me to clean up the split drink.

Beth was our waitress, she was very helpful and made us feel welcome.

Came here on my birthday, they managed to get me a table in a quiet area of the restaurant/pub, suzie was our waitress and she was lovely and inviting, would 100% come back again for a cheeky pint and food 😀 👍

Another great visit. Last night we ate then stayed for the Charity Music Bingo! We both had chicken kebabs which were amazing, but the bingo was such good fun! Will definitely be back for food and would love to see a regular bingo!

My husband and I decided we’d have a meal out and were pleased to be able to get in at short notice. There were several others there but not too busy or too noisy. The food was delicious, my husband had a steak and I had the sweet potato curry, both meals were lovely. We shared a dessert, apple & cherry crumble- again lovely. Bonus was a 30% discount on mains, so a really affordable evening out and all the staff were helpful and friendly, especially our waitress Emily. Thanks for making it a good evening. Definitely worth a visit, and currently a 2-4-1 promo on no/ low alcohol drinks, so good time to check them out too.

Lovely pub and great service, the 2 burgers we ordered were delicious and restaurant staff were polite and friendly however, the bar supervisor was rude and told us that the table we had sat on was booked! And that we needed to move in quite an aggressive manner. As such we won’t be retuning! never mind the dirty fork , that Bar man had no interest in changing, simply dismissing it to one of the junior waiters to deal with….

For a burger i expected the cheese to be melted

New menu is great, the signature burger with beef brisket and smoked bacon is lush. Chicken thigh off the bone starter is yummy. Sunday roasts have good meat and lots of fresh veg. 😋😋 plus dogs very welcome and looked after

Emily our server never came to check up on how our mains where, nobody came to see if we wanted deserts which we had to go up and order by the bar when they finally arrived I asked for some cream which I was told she was going to get and never seen her again! Very rude customer service won’t be coming back!

We came here supporting a client with severe autism. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very extensive gluten free menu which was great for our client. If I could suggest one thing it would be to advertise the gluten free menu on your website as we nearly didn't come due to seeing only one gluten free item on the regular menu.

Husband uses wheelchair I pre-booked and they seated us in a lovely window seat not shoved in a corner that was appreciated reference toilets Very clean and the doors to toilet area stayed open as did disabled toilet door which was perfect when manoeuvring wheelchair,through New to area. We try lots of different eating places. So the disabled facilities are important to us give you a good rating for your thoughtfulness thanks

Was picking up brother after a business meeting. Cleantidy bar and restaurant. Friendly staff and menus looked good. Clean toilets. I need to usedisabled ones very clean. Easy parking.

The lady that served us was very nice. But the size of portions of main meal and child meal was small for the cost. Also was over charged by £37 as bottle of wine and over alcoholic drinks were put on our bill. Older relatives paid and didn't read receipt till home and then had to go back up to get money back.

Not as easy to find as it used to be because of recent developments adjacent to the pub. Still a very nice place to stop at. The food we had ( sandwiches were excellent as was the Inch cider. The only downside was that I thought the priced were about 20% to high. Other than that, will recommend and continue using, when in the area

Place looks wonderful, very clean and tidy and attentive staff members. Felt very welcome and the staff did an incredible job throughout service. Can't fault that one bit. We ordered 3 Sirloin steaks to our table and when they arrived presentation was faultless. The issue for such a poor score with food was the quality of the steak. It was by far the worse I've ever had and the two people with me didn't enjoy there's either. All ordered medium rare ans they all arrived medium rare. Can't fault the chefs, just the meat quality was absolutely horrific. Change Butchers immediately

Taking daughter and son-in-law out for dinner, we had not been to White Willow for some time, perhaps not even since its initial opening. We have to say the service was excellent (thank you Suzie) the food was very tasty. The menu can be said to offer fairly standard fare but there are some items which make the choices more interesting. Much enjoyed by all, and look forward to returning again sometime soon.

We have been staying at the premier inn and came to the pub for food and drink, staff are very friendly and welcoming, jade was very accommodating and always remembered us even down to our drinks, will definitely return as we stay in bridgewater frequently due to visiting our daughter and grandson. Absolutely amazing service. Quick to be seated - our waitress, Suzie, was so attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed - nothing was too much trouble and she was quick with the cloths when our two year old spilt his drink down himself and his dad. She was really engaging, friendly, chatty. The food was incredible - I had a Hunter’s Chicken Schnitzel with sweet potato fries which was delicious, and my partner had sausages and mash which he loved - he gave me a bit to try and it was amazing! The mash was smooth, sausages were perfectly cooked, and the gravy was to die for. Our son had macaroni cheese with a slice of garlic bread and he loved it, he kept asking for mummy and daddy to try a bit and even told Suzie it was “really delicious”. He’s not normally keen on eating all of his dinner, or talking to strangers, so this just goes to show the extent of how amazing the food was and how welcoming the staff were! Will definitely come again!

Went here for a meal on Saturday 1/3/25, the food was dreadful, the kids meals came with more chips than the normal meals. The signature burger is just pepper overkill. The white willow is normally nice for food but this time was vile. I would sooner have gone to a fast food place

Our server Suzie was absolutely fantastic, she was extremely polite and very patient with our at times feral toddler. The food was incredible, not only was the presentation lovely the taste was incredible too. Very satisfied with our visit and would definitely come again 10/10. (Minus the children next time though)

The White Willow is a welcoming and relaxing pub, with a fantastic atmosphere at all times. The staff are all very attentive, especially Ashley, our server who went above and beyond to look after us while we dined. The food and drink is of a high quality and priced very reasonably. Will definitely be returning!

The staff were polite, courteous, respectful and friendly. The service prompt and availability of food / drinks good. The facilities were clean and the meals were very good. All in, superb experience.

We were served by a lovely lady called Suzie who went above and beyond. Our friend was stuck in the rush hour traffic and Suzie made sure our food was fresh for us all.
