The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South West

Two male staff Creams Charminster. I ordered pistachio ice and chocolate brownie cream. There was leftover pistachio one scoop size in the display which looked stale and discolored. Asked if there was any fresh but they insisted to serve the left one before putting out a fresh batch. Anyway took it. Pistachio scoop tasted sticky and gummy like texture not like normal ice cream. Straight away went to the staff and asked to replace only the one scoop and leave the other the attitude was horrible and tried to argue with me to refuse. They replaced the scoop with obvious display of not being helpful. Would you like to eat something bad you paid for??? If you want to keep customers in, please make sure staff know what fresh ice cream is and not to insist on customers paying for the leftovers that looked and tasted awful. Usually like Creams but was dissatisfied with the attitude, quality and service altogether. Let's not get started on the state of the toilets there either. Totally filthy and stinks like a sewer.

I was in with friends for an evening drink between 11-11.30 pm & was served by a lovely young lady. Unfortunately, her hand was in a clear plastic glove, which was covered in blood. When I queried it, I was laughing thinking it was a prank. To my horror, I was told it was real blood. She had cut her finger on a bottle during her shift & was told by her assistant manager to carry on working. I am appalled as were my friends. How can this be allowed to happen? Surely the safety & health of the young woman should be put first. This is disgraceful. We won't be coming back!!!!

Beautiful hotel right on the sea front, staff are very friendly and welcoming, rooms were very clean and comfortable, nice shower and bed with amazing views. Food was exceptional, we had 3 breakfasts and 3 evening meals each and could not fault any. Highly recommend and look forward to a return visit.

Food great. Felt a little rushed

Five of us good mates popped in for lunch. Very good value for money, generous helpings and friendly staff. Recommend the chips. I had a BLT, others the curry and chicken mayo and joined the clean plate club

Wide range of food and drinks options, and the usual pleasing if eclectic decor for this chain. Food was hot and cooked well - the breakfasts are particularly good. This is a large place so you are likely to find a table and service is reasonably fast. The only issue was that used plates and mugs were piling up on many tables, and serving staff had to be asked to take them away when delivering food to us. Nobody wants to eat their meal among the remains of someone else's! In fairness, by the time we left a staff member was clearing tables and doing an excellent job, so maybe the preceding hour he'd been on a break, but the venue really needs to think about how to keep on top of things. And staff should be trained to take dirty dishes away when delivering a new order, regardless of whether or not that's their specific role at the time.

To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Having visited this pub twice before and had amazing food I was shocked to how awful my food was. I last visited just over a year ago and as for many reviews I was impressed. We were there just after 13:30 today and as we walked in we were bemused as to why we were the only people there. The pub was cold very cold. The chap behind the bar did light the fire when my wife asked if there was a blow heater. We had to sit with coats on. I ordered the trio of sausages, have eaten there before and enjoying chicken heart starter last time I had high hopes that my selection of sausages would include maybe a venison sausage or at least some old spot. I’m disappointed to say they were exactly if the same as Tesco sausages and to make it worse they were cut in half like you would for a sandwich. I however ate the offering as had my two girls with me who get very shy so didn’t want to make a fuss. Luckily when the bar man came to collect the plates both girls were in the toilet so I told him that I was disappointed to pay £18 for 3 Tesco sausages. He replied with I’ll tell the chef 👍 My wife had chicken and bacon linguine which should be called bacon linguine for obvious reasons. Very bland tasteless food. A crying shame to see such a beautiful pub in such decline as my experience today suggests. I didn’t ask for any money off as I did eat my 3 Tesco sausages and I just wanted to get out of there in to my car to warm up.

A goto place for coffee and cake on the way to or from shopping.

Great boozer. Friendly staff. Not the cheapest pint, but people need to make a living. If you're over 6 foot you'll bang your head on low ceiling/beams but that's part of the charm of this very old pub. Fish and chips excellent-piping hot. Parents well impressed. Wife and I enjoyed a burger each at a Wednesday special price of £9.99. Normal price would have been £15.75 for the burgers. I'd have been disappointed at that price, but burgers deffo worth a tenner. Highly recommended pub.

Amazing spot to start a walk parking is expensive

Great service. Poor quality food. Chicken burger overcooked. Hard to eat. First time here probably the last!
