Went there Tuesday lunchtime and it was very cold. Nice atmosphere and they did have a real ale but there are nicer places very nearby

Llevé a un amigo a un almuerzo de cumpleaños tenía un cupón groupon. No tenían chef, pero dijeron que podía manejar una pizza ... jajajaja el vale era de £ 24 para la comida por valor de £ 48. Después de no estar contento y conseguir que llamaran al gerente me dirigieron a otro pub. así que aunque discapacitado me acerqué a ese pub y luego dijeron solo hamburguesas . . tenían una . mi oferta de hamburguesas y bebidas por £ 8 buena relación calidad-precio y mucho menos de lo que pagué. mi amigo preguntó si podían tener el nacho . . pero no querían darles. terminó con solo patatas fritas . . peor experiencia de mi vida absolutamente ningún servicio al cliente . . . . nachos en lugar de una comida ya pagada por bot no.

Had a bottomless brunch for my birthday and it was so much fun! Service was great and we were never left waiting for drinks. The pizzas were tasty and a great selection of cocktails. Highly recommend!

This pub has such a good atmosphere. The staff are really great,friendly and helpful. It's a good idea having the large TV screens for the sport too, also a bonus having the outside seated area. Keep up the good work all of you.

Always a good time down the Prince. Eng v Columbia was a great memory ill never forget with Eric Dier rolling that pen in. Top location for football / drinks and service is always immaculate. Also, they randomly get neo-soul 3 pieces in on a Friday. Check it out.

Clásico absoluto de un pub. Gran selección de cervezas y un acogedor jardín de cerveza. Menú muy limitado y un montón de comida no disponible un viernes por la noche, lo cual fue una pena, pero la pizza que tuvimos era sabrosa.

Great place to watch the football. Easy to book tables and always a great selection of beers. Staff really accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend!

Rude staff. Especially the young man in charge on Saturday the 9th march. Atmosphere he gave the pub was disappointing, power has gotten to his head. Owner of the pub should be embarrassed with their staffs actions and language towards paying guests.

Terrible service, me and my family was treated with nothing but disrespect as soon as we walked through the door. My poor old mum was so up set she wanted to leave. The staff wasnt helpful they completely messed up the reservation., they looked like they rather be somewhere else.

We booked a table for the england rugby match this evening, went in yesterday and spoke to a young lady who took my mums name and number. We arrive at the time we booked and who I’m assuming is the manager this evening says he doesn’t have us down.He says she obviously hasn’t passed it along to us so we don’t have a table for you, I can give you one until 6. My mum turns to me and says I told you I didn’t think she was writing it down formally she wasn’t very professional a bit dopey. Then he turned around and said no I’m not serving you at all you have to leave immediately and then proceeded to walk around the bar telling everyone working to never serve us. This is very disappointing as this is our local pub and come here regularly normally with great service. We were upset that we had booked a table and then arrived and told that they had no table for us so obviously we had a reaction. This has ruined our evening that we had planned and we will not be returning.

Due to bullish staff member. The previous day I made a special trip to book a table for the rugby. The girl who wrote my name and number and confirmed the booking seemed vague and unprofessional but I assumed she would be able to manage the task. On arrival the man said my booking wasn’t down. I described my visit he said she hasn’t passed it on. I said to my daughter can you believe it. How dopey. This man presumably a manager said you’ve called my staff dopey so I’m not serving you. He then told all the bar staff to not serve me. I explained that I am extremely frustrated and dopey seems accurate for such poor customer service. Clearly enjoying his power but very embarrassing for him and your pub.

Came on a Tuesday. Reasonably well priced drinks, cracking fairly lights. Yet we didn’t see the prince himself which would have given it 10/10 !

Great spot in the midst of the famous Gloucester Road!! really decent food and drink but we really all come for the ‘unique’ quizmaster! He has us falling out of the chairs over and over to the point I even forget there’s a quiz going on. Haven’t laughed like that since I moved to Bristol years ago, will definitely keep coming back!

How do you justify over £9 per pint for the 330ml of AF beer (with no duty!) So something costing you about £1 ~ is there any justification?! Surely EVERYONE feels that this is overpriced!? ref... COST OMG! over £12 for 1 pint of 'hazy' £6.90 and a 330ml can of AF (supermarket £1.30, £5.40, thats works out at over £9 a pint)

I had not been for ages so arranged to meet up with a couple of old mates, unfortunately it was quiz night. Most of the staff were great but Mr Obnoxious running the quiz clearly does not like customers that just want a drink and perhaps not join in with the quiz. After referring to everyone in the pub as a c**** the quiz off along with a barrage of abuse to anyone who did not wish to take part. AVOID AVOID AVOID

It’s a decent spot in a good location but pints are overpriced. The food is fine - typical pub food and quality. If you’re into sports, the big screen is ideal and the outside area is a good size. Wished the loos weren’t based outside though as it’s freezing in the winter!

I've been here twice in the last 2 months and both times I was very disappointed by the beer on offer. I'm a real ale drinker and when i went in August i was told nearly all the beers were off, so i ordered a Butcombe Gold which was basically warm and flat and halfway through my pint i was struggling to get it down me. I put this down to a one-off and went again last fri 22nd Sept and found a similar situation. This time i ordered a 'something' Turtle (?) which again was warm and flat and unpleasant to drink. Can you PLEASE put some decent real ales on!!
