It's always such a pleasure to come to lounge, their time out Wednesday sports night is often the highlight of my week and I can't think of a better environment in which to boogie late into the night. Staff here are always really friendly and the music is always on point, especially when they open room 2! I'm a big fan of the photographer who goes round capturing some of our best moments here, thanks to them those memories can last a lifetime. A given in lounge is the infamous VK, one of my favourite nights here was the recent VK party during which VKs were just £1 (!!) and I managed to win some awesome free merch, that I now frequently wear with pride. If you haven't already, I cannot recommend visiting this club enough for anyone looking for a fun night in Bristol. I personally cannot wait for many more nights to come!

Why would anyone ever go Fishes when Time Out Wednesday’s exist. I mean Lizard Lounge get’s me up in the morning with its insane music (room 2 energy is superb) and VK merch galore. Can’t wait to be back again on Friday, and then Saturday, have a break again on Sunday, back again on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday with Squash, Thursday, and Friday again. What a week. Despacito with Cal the Dragon the other week made me want to cry with joy; the photo with him caused me to break down with happiness. I can’t wait for more great things to come in Lizard Lounge. Best club in Bristol, England, Europe and most definitely the world.

Lizard lounge is without a doubt my favourite club in Bristol. My mum used to go here when she was at uni, and following her rave reviews I just had to try it! I am there every week for the great music and atmosphere. I especially love it when room 2 opens, the vibes are always immaculate. There are always really great drinks deals available, and it’s hard to think of a night where I didn’t buy at least 2 VKs. Lizard lounge often invite special guests, and last week I had the pleasure of meeting my idol Cal the Dragon. That was probably my highlight of uni so far! I can’t wait for the many more fun nights this year in my favourite club that are still to come…

A great nightclub - my favourite way to spend a Wednesday. The vibes are always immaculate

The atmosphere is lively and energetic. It has nice decor and lighting with 2 sofas to take lovely instagramable pictures on and amazing Halloween decor. I love the music and the reason I always chose lizard lounge is because it has 2 rooms of music so if you are not feeling it in one of them you can always move to the other one. Drink options are very good as it has everything and the prices are really good. I usually pay 1 or 2 pounds for a VK depending on the day. The location is ideal because I don't have to walk up park street at the end of a night out and I feel quite safe as there are security guys frequently checking if everything is ok and there are people to pick up broken glass as soon as an accident happens. Thus they are very organised and maintain the venue well. It is by far my favourite club and the one I had the most memorable nights. Can't wait to have many more!

The bouncers were looking for any excuse to throw us out from the moment we arrived which made for an unpleasant experience. Yes, we were a large, loud group, but we weren’t causing any trouble and didn’t have these issues anywhere else in Bristol. Other than that, club is fine - it’s a typical, basic club with one main room and dance floor. Didn’t like the feel of the place. They were good in advance of the night allowing us to pre-book entry. The place would do a job in the right circumstances but we had a poor experience.

Great club with a brilliant atmosphere. The DJ was on their A GAME and the dancefloor was packed. Would be great for larger groups or special nights out as their VIP are is chilled and away from the crowds. Would definitely recommend paying these guys a visit id you're in Bristol 🍾

An amazing night out, we had the best time! Every team member and security staff were absolute legends and made us feel totally safe to enjoy our night. They looked out for us and were quick to solve any issues that arose to keep people safe. Can’t thank you enough LL team

Lounge have been a fantastic sponsor of our Medical Charity society, CLICENDALES this year. Annually, we hold a charity dance show and further fundraisers throughout the year all in aid of Young Lives Vs Cancer. Lounge we’re on of our main sponsors this year, helped organise and host club events for our members and supporting us all the way in anyway they could! We would highly recommend them to other charitable societies and want to thank them for all the support in helping us raise almost £70,000 this year our largest fundraising total yet!

I was denied entry for not having "immaculate shoes", while I observed numerous females wearing identical footwear who encountered no such issues.

Big thank you to the security who were on duty on 24/03/23! My girlfriend had a seizure (she's epileptic and meant to be fine with flashing lights; turns out it was the caffeine in VKs). They were very understanding, helpful, and patient. It was a good night out as well before that!

I've waited over a month to post this review. Had a night out in Bristol early February. Was a fairly quiet night and our party (all men) got to Lizard lounge fairly early around 10ish. We paid the cover and went into a quiet Lizard Lounge. Stayed quiet for the next 30 mins so we asked the bouncers if we left and went to a pub and came back in a while if we'd get back in without paying cover or queueing again. They said yes and stamped us all before we left. Went to another pub 5 mins away and came back to Lizard lounge closer to midnight, maybe slightly after midnight. We all went up to the bouncers (same ones that told us we could go back in) and flashed our stamps and they stopped us and said 'sorry, management has said you guys can't go back in'. We didn't cause any trouble, argued a bit to no avail and then left. Extremely unprofessional of this establishment is all I have to say.

Had an amazing night in what is more than just a nightclub. The owners have definitely not been napping during lockdown and have obviously invested in the decor and interior design quality. If you transported this club and the nights they put on across to London it would be where all the A Listers went. Thank you to Nitevision for making is feel like more than just a number. Great venue. Awesome DJ & welcoming staff..As a regular patron of Londons club scene I felt right at home at Lizard Lounge with its surprisingly diverse and vibrant entertainment. No better place to party in Bristol in my humble opinion. Recommend.

Being a guy who is very aware of what Bristol has to offer for nightlife you cant go wrong with Lizard Lounge, a friendly safe venue whose aim is to provide a fun/party night out that people want to keep reliving... and that's totally achieved - I love my nights there - Two Brilliant rooms offering a wide range of music to dance the night away, DJs who listen and staff who care, in a place which is "Tidy" in every sense of the word and thats why people keep returning!!!!! 🙂

Worst night out ever in my life, bouncers overused their power and kicked out my friend who has never drunk in his life ever. Went up to tell the bouncers the truth and kicked out too.

Rude and recist security I don’t recommend it to anybody

Decent club ruined by security. I got kicked out within an hour of arriving. I was shouted at and physically grabbed and removed by security claiming I'd been out to the smoking area with drinks 5 times which is entirely false and CCTV will confirm my story. I accidentally brought a drink outside to the smoking area and they forcibly removed me with no opportunity to apologize or explain. Security are simply on a power trip and do not deserve to work at a club

All my friends love lizard lounge. Every time we go we have an amazing night out. The security are also amazing and it’s one of the only clubs we feel safe in. There’s been many occasions where I’ve watched them provide amazing first aid to anyone who needs it. Not only are they well trained in first aid, but they also take incidents seriously. Any problems and the security are quick to solve it. It’s one of the only places where I feel like the security actually care for the people.

This was a great night! Lovely staff and the dj was on point! We went to Pryzm the day after and just could not compare, lizard lounge was 100x better!

Great place just don't get smashed or they will kick you out but drinks are pricey on weekend but Wednesday is nice and cheap always a great atmosphere as well

The best club in Bristol - both my house and society love the place more than anything else - nowhere else has such a supply of VKs. Lounge got my mate to go out for the first time in months and he had a great time. Bouncers and the toilet guy are all legends, and I've never had a bad night coming to the Lizard

Rubbish Club, tried to take my friends jacket and the bouncers kept turning her away despite showing them the ticket and her Id. Absolute rubbish Club, only go there if you want your stuff stolen, and the bouncers were rude.

Terrible experience, all three bouncers incredibly rude and banned me for trying to get my friends coat back after telling me they didnt have it, even though we left it there less than an hour before. Had no intention of ever coming back even before the ban

Easily one of my favourite clubs in Bristol, there’s a safe environment with great music and reasonable prices on drinks. As a social secretary for my society I can say that the staff are very honest and upfront about deals and overall a great place to host socials. If going casually or with a society, a good night is guaranteed with lots of memories to be made! 🦎🦎💚💚

Best club in Bristol, it’s the only place you can guarantee a fun, judgement free night dancing to today’s hits or some old school bangers. Still to this day the only club I’ve been to where the bouncers aren’t confrontational and is the perfect place for any society sponsored nights. Get those Vks in and head to lounge. Defo one of the best clubs in Bristol, I always feel safe there, and have never had a bad time. The staff are always super helpful and are also having a great time. The queue times are always quick and the extra precautions about spiking are super successful and staff here actually believe in it too. The bouncers are really great too and sort out any problems. Defo worth a visit!

Despite the Blinding Lights, I Can't Help Falling In Love with Lounge. Music is Fire. The atmosphere is that Electric Feel. True fans go at least 3 Nights a week. I can't guarantee you'll Get Lucky but look on the Brightside, you've come to the VK capital of Bristol. With two rooms it's like Walking On A Dream. Lucid Dreams. There are very few institutions in the fine city of Bristol that consistently guarantee more than a distinctly average night; Lounge never fails to do so. Whether it be filling the void in my life on a Sunday evening, or even destroying the bank account on a Wednesday, Lounge convinced my worryingly in love friend to attend his first night out with the boys in over a year (his name is JT for anyone confused), and for that I will forever be indebted to them. If Lounge survives the flood of VKs over the next decade, I'll probably have my wedding there - or at least hire the DJ to play at it. The only negative to this absolute beast of a club is the queue length and of course that is entirely understandable. The staff manage to bridge the gap of being completely professional yet extremely friendly at the same time. It's nothing short of an honour to walk down those stairs and get stamped numerous times a week. Live, laugh, lounge.

It's cheap and cheerful. All ways a good night not to big so you spend half the night trying to find your friends again when you go get s drink. Two rooms with a good range of music being played.

I love lounge, from the way they accommodate whatever stupid, revealing dress code we have for Wednesday socials to belting S Club 7 at the top of my lungs in room 2 it’s an immaculate experience.

Can always rely on a good night in lounge, a great substitute for fishies with which our society has had many problems in the past. Whether you like classic hits or cheesy bangers there's a room for you, and its the setting for some of my best photos from uni 👀👀

I love this Club. Been brilliant supporting the Bristol uni squash club. They are always friendly and accommodating of what we request. They have worked hard to combat the spiking issue in bristol. Would recommend to anyone for a great night out

Lizard Lounge is by far the friendliest and most welcoming club in all of Bristol, their team are all lovely and really do their best to make everyone’s night, every night!! As part of a society, they are flexible with our socials and always take us in, sometimes with very little notice! I can hand on heart say I’ve never had a bad night in Lounge, a must for anyone visiting Bristol Nothing but love ♥️

A real shame, I’ve heard good things about Lizard Lounge but I was very disappointed. It was so hot downstairs, which is fine it’s a nightclub, I went to get some water from the bar to take it outside and have a breather. As I went upstairs, I was greeted by the unfriendly female bouncer who instructed me to leave the club having taken a sip of my drink outside. I appreciate that alcohol licensing means you can’t drink alcohol on the street but the bouncer failed to take into account the situation and seemed to enjoy the power trip of kicking out someone who just wanted a break from the sweat box downstairs. If you are in the area go to Lola Lo instead you’ll have a much better night with much friendlier bouncers.

Awful club that lacks any sort of ventilation, creating a musty, sweaty scent. Went outside for some fresh air and got kicked out for drinking some water. If you are in the Clifton area definitely do not go to Lizard Lounge as the bouncers, specifically a 40 year old woman, have no manners and no sense of curtesy.

The stuff always forget to close the backdoor in the dark night. That sound disturbed people sleeping.

Decent dance floors, two rooms with different music are great to mix it up a bit. However the drinks are genuinely undrinkable. I had a double vodka redbull for 7.20 which was awful and a double vodka coke (which was apparently cranberry) that was genuinely undrinkable. No cranberry at all in there I wasted 15 on two drinks and went home. Good drinks and this place would be epic in my mind

Bouncers push you if its busy and they have no respect for their customers who pay money there (person in charge is the worst for just wanting to take money with no respect)

I've been here 3 or 4 times and every time has been an incredible experience. Drinks are cheap, staff are friendly and the music is only the best! If you're sick of going to clubs where they play chart or generic dance music, Lizard Lounge is the place for you! On previous club nights, I have danced and sung my heart out to Mr Brightside - The Killers, Year 3000 - Busted and the classic All Star - Smash Mouth. Lizard Lounge is my favourite place to go!

Set in a tight underground space, very packed with sweaty people on a night out, commonly referred by us as 'The hole'. Some people love it but not for me.

Lounge is a quality night. Bouncers are always decent crack. VKs are £1 so usually buy five at a time. Music choice is always great. Floors maybe slightly sticky. The highlight of the evening is always the cloakroom attendant; his 98' AC Milan tracksuit is well known amongst Bristol students. A great night- always stay until the lights come on.

Student nights are the best, £1 for a VS, what more could you want? DJ morf was wonderful, playing the tunes all night long, thanks morf! Bounders are so lovely, if you go regularly enough you can get to known them, its great! Tuesday and thursday are the best nights!!

This is a lovely little bar to go, it does need a bit more attention to the cleanliness but what do you expect on a sat night. Music was good and just lots of fun compared to the some other huge clubs.

Horrible place with horrible staff and horrible customers. Bouncers threw young girl on the floor after dragging her up stairs! Bouncer chose to let male stay who hit girl in face as he was friends with him. Absoloutley disgusting. Avoid at all costs. Should be shut down.
