The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South West

The most disgusting fish and chips we have ever had. The piece of fish was so small, I've had bigger fish finger. So little fish in awful hard batter. The only recommendation I have is don't buy food from here.

Best pub I've ever been with my dog, they love dogs here, everyone was really friendly, and made a big fuss of our dog, treats, doggy bags, and water supplied, great little pub.

Very much enjoyed my Mother’s Day carvery, and I wasn’t the only one! Thank you. Excellent food and very friendly staff in a laid back, dog friendly setting. Replete, we enjoyed the beach view and then the walk after.

What a farce! I was so looking forward to having a lovely meal with my family, but the incompetence and rudeness of the staff completely ruined my visit! I have a list... 1 , before you give out the menu know what's available and what's not . 2 , have suitable options and if a error has occurred at the least show empathy instead of making the customer feel like they are being awkward. 3, if the customer gives you a dietary requirement, please do not bring out somthing which is not suitable fir them, and if they try and make your job easier by instead of sending the product back handing it to another family member , maybe don't include that item against their order , but allow it for a complimentary option , seeming it was the error of the kitchen. 4, when issuing the bill at least double check that the item which was not available, is not left on the bill . 5 , when the customer lets you know and explains that the meal they had and the service was not what is considered "good service" then the response given is "we are all human and it's a small mistake" 6 , then the staff member takes the bill away and takes forever to return it with not so much as a polite smile , but a real crappy attitude. 7, just maybe Fox and Hounds compensate for your mistakes and work on training a certain female staff member what good customer service looks like????

Best beers in Taunton, recommended. Have around 10 on tap rotation on a Teletext style board above the bar, as well as a fridge of cans. The tap takeovers are usually quite busy and a nice atmosphere. They close relatively early so good for a few relaxed pints.

Booked one of the huts for a Mothers Day treat. On arrival, this was clearly signposted as reserved and inside looked pretty with fairy lights and fresh flowers. We were hoping for sandwiches and cakes, but unfortunately, the only option available was an all-day English breakfast! A bit odd for Mothering Sunday lunchtime. However, the cream tea we ended up with was delicious. I think they are missing a trick here...could offer so much more.

Visited for dinner but wish we hadn't. Service was slow and food underwhelming. 5 staff for 10 (ish) tables and only 1 person was dictating what was needed. Flagged someone down for drinks and he said he needed to get a tablet but assume he wasn't old enough as finally sent someone else. Finished dinner but was waiting for around 15-20 mins after. Main chap came for pudding choices but we hadn't even been given menus. When I made a comment to suggest it was slow service he said he had new staff. Fair enough as everyone needs to start somewhere but if the whole team is new should we pay the full price? Food wasn't overly great. Childrens mini steak was probably the bit they didn't want to give to anyone else as had grizzle going through and given it being small there was about an inch square that could be eaten so not even a child's portion. Children's Sunday came with 2 tiny bits of brownie and whipped cream. Sent it back as not even any ice cream. Adults cheesecake had no cream or ice cream and was typical frozen rubbish. Overall just not worth the money and wouldn't recommend or re-visit. A lot of money spent of not great food

By far the best ploughman’s we have ever had lots of great cheeses and ham, lovely pints of real ale, great staff, log fire, great location. What a great pub

I read lots of reviews about the Horseshoe Inn being good. We found it far from that. We felt very uncomfortable when we came in. The landlord was sat chatting to friends and we didn’t get much of a welcome. We ordered food which took an hour & quarter to arrive which considering we were a table of four and the only ones eating was far too long to wait. The food was mediocre but overall the whole experience was poor.

Been a number of times as we normally have breakfast or lunch before leaving for home. Today very disappointed. We were the only customers at 10 30, didn't have to wait long but didn't appear fresh. Smashed avocado was clearly brought in and very cold, tomato salsa just chopped up tomato's and toast cold and soggy. Did ask for extra egg which was ok. Husband's sausage bap came already buttered which he didn't want or asked beforehand. Coffe not the normal tasty quality. Unsure if this is why it's not busy or just trying to cut corners , as years gone by have been much better.

We had lunch here and chose egg mayo sandwiches on brown bloomer bread, tea, and the special offer of two scones with jam and cream. Strangely, we were not allowed a choice of scone and were given ginger scones. They turned out to be pleasant enough with not too strong a ginger flavour although they fell apart when you tried to eat them and I ended up using a spoon. The sandwiches were well-filled and good.

Great little venue for light lunch and a beer! Mainly outdoor seating at present, but plenty of umbrellas and indoor area for shade or keeping dry. Easy access from water using hire boats, canoes etc for visitors - worth a visit, but don’t expect ‘fine dining’ choices - good basic stuff! Rob and Sue + staff very welcoming. Lots of boat activity from dinghies to small cargo ships to watch.

We all enjoyed a great Sunday lunch and the staff were so attentive and helped to take plate to table for me. Pleased to see the place was busy and well supported by locals.

Hemos aparecido por algunos bits en varias ocasiones, los precios son altos, ¡pero eso es lo que obtienes con una tienda agrícola! Necesita más cantidades de quiches disponibles diariamente, ya que nunca hay muchas opciones cuando visitamos y necesita más personal para manejar las cajas, ya que siempre hemos tenido que esperar un tiempo antes de que nos sirvan, lo cual es un poco molesto en ocasiones cuando ve a los miembros del personal. detrás del mostrador de delicatessen no haciendo mucho.
