The best restaurants in South West

Stopped for Sunday lunch, lovely roast, was cooked perfectly, lovely veg and pipping hot. Lovely pub with log fire.

Found this quaint tearoom a couple of years ago and now we always pop in for lunch when passing through the area. Consists of two lovely rooms to enjoy a good selection of food and beverages. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and in our book is always a plus (as there is nothing more displeasing than staff that don’t want to be working)! If in the area would recommend you take a break here, you will not be disappointed…..

Nice atmosphere good friendly service but generally overpriced for what you get. There was a group of us eating out Saturday night. We have a variety of dishes from the daal to chicken, lamb biryani, aubergine and butternut squash. Food was tasty very nicely presented if somewhat lacking in spice for an Indian restaurant. The lamb biryani definitely the biggest disappointment as we struggled to find any lamb in there. However the squash and aubergine dishes definitely the best. Unusual and tasty. Nice food but portions relatively small and pricing quite high. Didn't feel quite value enough for money.

Best Italian I have had in a long while I asked for some additions to my arrabiatta and nothing was too much trouble the hand made linguine was superb Each of the 5 meals between us were excellent and we look forward to coming here again

Fabulous Italian food very well cooked and prepared by great people. Whether you have pizza or pasta you won't be disappointed. The starters are rather filling so be warned as the main courses need to be done justice to, the chicken fusili or the carbonara are both awesome as are the freshly made pizzas which you can design yourself. Add to this a good selection of wine, cocktails and limoncello than you have a great time to look forward to. Just remember to book a table as it's a small place. Even better book for two nights, one for pasta and one for pizza!

Fuimos con un pequeño grupo de amigos. Excelente cerveza (que también puedes comprar en jarras). Muy ocupado cuando fuimos (alrededor de las 7 - 8 pm sábado por la noche). Ambiente agradable, buen servicio. Bastante ruidoso debido a la acústica, pero eso es una discusión muy menor contra todos los aspectos positivos.

I stayed two nights. Its owner, Jean, with an unstable character and dishonest personality, made our stay a real suffering. He was unhelpful (he didn't want to give us information about means of transportation), bad disposition as a host (she didn't want to acclimatize the room), he is a person who lacks the truth in his opinions. Not recommended. Save yourself problems. I will not come back .

well i don’t know what the last two reviews were about ,but it was mother and daughter ,we were there !!! and have dined there many times it’s 100/ we couldn’t fault the food ,the rest of the company, apart from the said people that were impatient rude and clearly not educated the amount of people dining were very respectful to a little wait and between courses it it nice to wait chat have a drink ect , if you want rush nisi is the place to go i suppose according to these customers !!!! 🥰

Food took ages all had our meals at different times. Food wasn't the best and missing items off our breakfast. Wouldn't come again

Always a lovely time when we go to Brimbles. The food and drinks are delicious, and the service is amazing.
