Breeze Bar & Grill in Weymouth and Portland

Fantastic restaurant food & staff excellent, very friendly here too. This is within waterside holiday park, chesil beach.

Delicious Sunday roast, tasty veg, crispy roast potatoes and gorgeous meat, all served with excellent customer service from Josh, nothing is too much trouble would highly recommend

Had a very nice Sunday Lunch BUT the new Menu has now come into force. Out have gone all the adventurous dishes from the previous menu, in have come...Beef Stew...Lamb Shank and Cumberland Sausage and Mash. Boil in the bag meals that were outdated in the pubs 5 years ago. I was told that the Chef??? wanted to put his own mark on the menu!!!! I was told that the menu will change in the Summer. I will have to wait until then before going back.

New staff still to settle down and be more customer orientated. Just relax and become people persons.

We stayed at chesil beach for a week last week The food in the restaurant was really top drawer cooked to perfection with high quality products. I had the rump steak & it was probably one of the best steaks I've eaten in a long time , probably better than I've had at a high end restaurant. The beer is also well looked after on site & as we had a deluxe caravan we got 10% off in the bars n restaurants which is always a bonus.

Breeze Bar and Grill in Weymouth nails the seaside coast aesthetic with its decor, transporting diners to a beachside retreat. However, the food fails to match the ambiance. While the side of chips was enjoyable, the rest of our meal left much to be desired. The pepperoni pizza tasted disappointingly like something straight out of a supermarket, lacking any distinctive flavor. Similarly, the mac and cheese lacked the indulgent, creamy texture one would expect from a sit-down restaurant. Despite these culinary letdowns, the saving grace of our visit was the fantastic service provided by the staff. In conclusion, Breeze Bar and Grill offers a pleasant atmosphere and great service, but the food falls short of expectations.

Stayed here at Easter, the restaurant is very well run, the staff are wonderful, food is lovely, we had breakfast & evening meal every day & couldn’t fault it. Unfortunately one night we were evacuated from the restaurant as the fire alarm went off but the staff were extremely professional & knew exactly what to do & apologised for the inconvenience, we were all ushered back in very soon after all the relevant checks had been made. Had 2 lovely walks on the Rodwell Trail which starts pretty much right outside the site & takes you into Weymouth town. Will definitely be back ☺️

Visited as recommended by friends local to Weymouth, we had the escalope and nice and spicy pizza and both had the caramel sundae. The food was cooked to perfection. And the sundae was delicious. Our server for the night was Becca and she provided excellent service. Thank you to all the staff for our amazing evening

The lad we spoke to on the phone this morning was very knowledgeable and very helpful. We both have Gluten Intolerance and my Wife has Dairy Intolerance, and the lad couldn't have been more helpful.

Great place to eat the only thing is could do with basic meals IE pie and chips curry night on a Wednesday starters need to be basic IE pate breaded mushrooms chicken goujons however the food is fantastic

Sampled a breakfast, evening meal and a Sunday lunch at this restaurant and can safety say it is great! The establishment is very warm and welcoming in a relaxed environment. The food is well portioned and is good value for money.

Absolutely lovely food and great service from friendly staff. A bit of a wait for food to arrive and the music wasn't exactly background, so the volume could be turned down. I didn't really want to eat my dinner with Rihanna yelling in my ear! Apart from that the restaurant was spotlessly clean and a nice variety of food on the menu.

Had a great Sunday roast here. Portions were huge. Beef was cooked nicely and yorkshire puds were great too. All served with nice veggies and plenty of gravy. This is the 2nd time I've eaten here and both times were excellent Staff very reasonable and prices were good too. We were staying at the park and they hadna kids meal for £1 offer with an adult main meal which was excellent value for money and good quality too. Would recommend.

Ordered a takeaway a few times whilst away. Food was of good quality and was even delivered to our caravan! Was a great service and only took 20 minutes. Would highly recommend eating here.

Ordered chicken and beef burger… both of them were over cooked, dry. Fish was also dry and awful. They asked us if the food was fine, we gave them this feedback but nothing was done to at least try to make us happier. They don’t care about their reputation at all.

The food is SO good here! We enjoyed breakfast, an evening meal and a Sunday roast whilst staying on site and every time it was delicious. The staff are really friendly. However I will say the wait times for drinks, cutlery or just to order are really long and let the experience down. They definitely need more staff and also just to train staff better i.e bringing out cutlery once food has been ordered (no one wants their meal in front of them but no cutlery to eat it with) and also clearing tables as they go.

We order 2 pizza's to our caravan and was really disappointed they were under cooked and not much topping on them for the price they are charging we expected better it's a shame because we ate in the breeze bar and the food was nice

Eaten here a few times now whilst staying at Chesil Vista. It’s a beautiful location and the staff work hard, there’s great live music on occasion too, some of the meals have been very good (hanging kebab, fish and chips) but some just haven’t been up to scratch (not at all as described on menu and clearly just thrown together). At times the restaurant is clearly understaffed and this brings down our rating as the service, clearing tables, giving customers sauces, cutlery etc just isn’t being done.

We were staying at the park and ate here twice. Both times the staff were great and friendly and took orders quickly. Unfortunately the food on both visits was not cooked well, meat was overcooked and the burgers especially tasted burnt from overcooking. We sent one burger back for something else. Also the kids meals came out last after all the adult meals, the kitchen needs sorting out as it's letting the other staff down.

Great food and reasonably priced with lovely surroundings. The hanging kebab was delicious and great value and the pizzas are really nice too. Unusual but tasty chips!

Me and my husband came for dinner. It was a last minute booking. We were staying close by in Portland. The food was really good and nicely priced, not too expensive or overly priced. The service was great too. Staff were attentive. Would recommend the monkfish tacos for starters! Would return!

A month ago I wrote haw disappointed I was with this restaurant and its new Menu. I am pleased to say that the Management listened to some of the criticisms, not just by me, and a few weeks ago the Menu was changed. It now compares favourably with the Menu that won this reataurant its awards. Additionally, the cost of the Sunday Lunch was reduced. Since the change I have eaten at the restaurant twice. On both occasions it was a pleasurable experience. Food and service were good and it will, once again, be a regular, to visit

Raw/undercooked food, understaffed & no one coming to check if food is okay, no sides available for gluten free, air con on full blast in the evening 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Currently on holiday here and the food is second to none! Very tasty 😋 fresh and hot ! However the service needs more attention ! Understandably we are just coming out of a pandemic 😷 however only having 1 person working at any one time is ridiculous !! Drinks come out slower than the food! We waited 15 minutes after our drinks order had been taken because the poor girl was the only one working and she had to keep stopping to go get the food from the kitchen. I also noticed an area in restaurant pro dominantly used by staff where they gather sit down and have a chat always someone there with a lap top and coffee! Not very professional for guests to see staff huddled in the corner ! Less time spent sat down and more people working may make for a smoother experience.

Ordered Scampi & Chips as a take-away. Arrived on time and hot. Scampi and Chips beautifully cooked. It is a shame that the kitchen is shackled by a Junk Food Menu. All hamburgers and Pizzas. Healthy Options within the Waterside group? Not in 2021. Living in the last century.

I had the nachos. 2 spoons of rubbery beef chilli, 2 spoons of salsa out of a jar, 2 spoons of guacamole out of a plastic container, 2 spoons of sour cream (this was the freshest part) on top of nacho chips that didn’t even have cheese.... it was cheese sauce (yuck). That cost £11. Wow.

On holiday here and with family I found eating at the complex was ok although I found the staff extremely unprofessional rushing customers to order telling them what time they closed, not giving the same customer the brush that should come with their hanging kebab and just walking away from them. I will not eat here again on this holiday. For the amount you pay for food you should at least get good customer service.
