Nautico Lounge in Weymouth and Portland

Came in for brunch as we love the lounges and go to the one in Dorchester 3 or 4 times a week. I had the Moroccan aubergine flatbread which was supposed to have chickpeas and pomegranate seeds on it which is part of the ingredients they was missing which made the flatbread not really tasty. The waitress asked how our food was and l told her about the missing items and she just muttered sorry ok fair enough not really the good service that we normally get so l was disappointed . My husband’s food was good l wish l was informed about ingredient’s that would be missing so l could have chosen something else.

Love going to Tapas evenings on Tuesdays , the relaxed atmosphere and helpful staff make the place work so well.

Stopped here for lunch, would have scored 5 but there was a 40 minute wait for food, which we were informed about, but 2 of us ordered Lounge Eggs, and both of us had an egg that was hard/over cooked. The service.was.friendly and food.mostly good.

Food was good always reaches you hot. I used the app to order so couldn't give full stars for service but nothing was any trouble!! I personaly haven't had a bad experience there.

This is the worst experience I have had of a lounge. We ordered drinks and then found out that lots of the menu wasn’t available! When I approached the assistant manager after the meal he was not in the least bit interested in my complaint. In fact he admitted that we had been told some items weren’t available and he said they were!! What an absolute shambles. I have to say I have not been so unimpressed with the service or lack of response from management from any other outlet. I hope you are ashamed of this and I do hope some disciplinary action is taken.

Had coconut curry which was excellent. Staff not very good waited ages to be seated ended up seating myself. Have been to several lounges and this one is probably the worst I have been to lots of Staff around just not helpful shame because the food was excellent

Loved this quirky cafe/lounge, set in the old post office, in the centre of Weymouth. Food and drink available all day including breakfast items. Good service at this popular spot.

Very poor won't be going back in a hurry. 5.30 on a Monday evening place half empty so expected no problems. Did a app order for 2 drinks took 25 minutes to turn up. 1 guy working the bar another girl for some reason cashing up a till while the bar Queue got to 5 & food waiting to go out. First till done bar Queue at 7 rather than serve paying customers moved to do the second till only when the Queue got to 11 did she stop & help and serve the bar. We was going to stay for food but decided the wait was not acceptable. If you are going to offer a iorder service then attend to it. In comparison the local spoons brought our next 2 drinks in 3 minutes despite being 5 x busier.

The Miami Brunch, Smashed Avocado Brunch & Lounge Eggs all nice. Although all the poached eggs (4 in total) were overcooked massively. Super firm. The stacked pancakes were a little underwhelming. The flavours of the three dishes mentioned above overall were good!!

Popped in for breakfast, great menu for gluten free and kids. Miami brunch was amazing. Highly recommend. Staff were brilliant.

Popped in here on a Saturday night and was seated straight away. Was great as the food was all ordered on your phone and was out very promptly.

Nice dog friendly spot (we don't have a dog but enjoyed seeing everyone else's). Great milkshakes!

While on holiday for a week, myself and family visited twice, once was a huge party of 14, which they happily sat us with only having to wait a short while, and the second time was just 2 of us. I am celiac, and the gluten-free range, care , knowledge, and taste of the food was excellent. There were no complaints from any other meals either. The staff were absolutely shining stars on both visits. Can't rate them high enough. Thankyou

We had an amazing dinner at Nautico Lounge tonight. We were especially moved with the Manager's random act of kindness. The children absolutely loved their complimentary dessers! It is a shame that our holiday is coming to an end as otherwise we would go back again soon! Looking forward to dining at Nautico Lounge again on our next holiday in Weymouth!

Great food, great customer service, reasonable prices and great vibe. We turned up as a table of 7 on a Saturday night without booking and They seated us quickly. We order at the bar, the bar tender was really lovely, took our large order and was very friendly. Food came quite quick and all at the same time. All 7 meals were really nice (empty plates!) They have a good selection of books, board games, colouring for kids, dog bowls and treats for your pups and tap water to help yourself too. Highly recommend

Absolutely loved dining here, it's fairly pricey (then again most food places in Weymouth are) but the quality of the food is amazing! Staff were very friendly and helpful, service was fabulous, and the place itself was lovely, definitely has a trendy feeling and very clean. 3 of us went for their breakfast at £10.50 a head which was beautifully presented and super yummy! My daughter had the child's breaded chicken, beans and fries (£7.10 if I remember correctly) which she also loved! Our food arrived fast, hot and none of us had any complaints at all. Would come back here in a flash and would recommend to anyone wanting a delicious meal 😁

Been there a few times but OMG don’t get the Tapas can you imagine paying 4.95 for three bits of cauliflower or 4.95 for four bbq wings or 4.95 for two quesadilla ,13.25 Total , ripping off the locals priceless !!!!!

I always have a lovely experience in Nautico Lounge. It has a warm, friendly, relaxed atmosphere and a fabulous range of meals, consistently prepared and presented well. This evening, I took a friend who had never been to a Lounge, and she had trouble deciding what to eat - she was so impressed with the choice and was tempted by several dishes! She was delighted with her final choice. We were served by Reece, who was friendly, polite and helpful. He checked that we had everything we needed, and that we were happy with our meals. Thank you, Reece. We had a fab evening.

This is a lovely place with friendly and polite staff and delicious food. My only criticism would be that the chairs are hard to manoeuvre. Other than that, a lovely place for a big breakfast!

It was a busy end to a lovely sunny day but the staff were still cheerf and helpful especially Aaron. We had a great evening.

Even if the service is no longer available due to digital ordering, they are super nice and, above all, fast. Tapas were great and the cocktails were great too. The best children's menu you can imagine. I thought it was great that the calories were listed per dish.

Lovely place for a drink or food. Coffee, tea, soft drinks & alcohol available. Snacks and main meals all available. Staff were really lovely and were very understanding when our dogs got excited & spilt water everywhere 🤦‍♀️

Ended up here because after 8.30 in Weymouth, a seaside town that closes too early as if everyone has to get up for work at 5 the next morning, your choices seem to be limited to Weatherspoons or here. Now, as I will not darken the door of Tim Martins awful establishments here it was. We both ended up with the all day breakfast which we have had before and the only difference we could see is it got slightly smaller but not more costly. My wife also had two cocktails which apparently were very nice and this time were in time for two for one which sadly we missed out on last time as it ends at 8. Monday is Quiz night, apparently, and it was fun answering the questions without entering, although we suspect the table next to us cribbed our answers 😀.

One of the best all round restraunts to go in Weymouth. Customer service amazing as always, and they kept the chicken club sandwich up to their usual amazing standard.

So we arrived in Weymouth Sunday morning looking for somewhere for breakfast and stumbled on the Nautico Lounge. Entrance was inviting so went in and was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance of the place and the spacious interior. Quickly seated it didn’t take long to choose from the delicious sounding menu as we were ready for breakfast. We choice to use the QR code which was on the menu and a stand up placard on the table. My tea was served in a quaint pot and the wife said the coffee was lovely. Food arrived promptly and having ordered a large breakfast I was not disappointed. Bonus points for having the eggs on the toast (not requested lol). The food was piping hot too. Which isn’t always the case when ordering a breakfast in my experience! My wife said her ‘Lounge Eggs’ were cooked beautifully, the white was set and the yolks runny. 👌🏼 Food eaten and having gotten just over two cups of tea out of my pot. We were feeling happy. Gayle was so impressed with the coffee she ordered a second while I was finishing my large brekky. All in all for an unplanned visit to stubble across the Nuctico Lounge was a goood find and I recommend it. Lunch and evening menu look good too. 👍🏼

Didn't have food but 2 burgers are £28 plus... Don't go there for drinks either... Got charges £23.40 for two double JDS and mixers... Extortionate as not even on sea front. AVOID unless you've robbed the local Santander !!!

First Visit - Great atmosphere, very busy at lunchtime. Has a fab shabby chic vintage interior with lots of vintage, kitsch pictures, artwork on the walls and large vintage industrial metal and chintzy fringed light fittings. Unmatched vintage, vintage look dark wood tables and chairs and sofas. Standard menu, gluten free menu and vegan menu. You can order at your table or at the counter. I'm a lone traveller so prefer some human interaction so chose to order at the counter from the vegan menu. Unfortunately, they didn't have 3 of the 6 vegan mains listed including the one I wanted. So I left disappointed and ended up in a packed Wetherspoons who did have the curry(microwave meal) I ordered. Would have been nice to have been told about the unavailable items on entry by the member of staff that greeted me. Second Visit - I checked if there were any items not available, arrived approximately 530pm, very empty which was fine. Sat in the small garden area out the back. Ordered the vegan aubergine flat bread £9.75. Waiting time for food not long. Flar bread well presented and very tasty, was not disappointed. Glad I gave this place a second go. My parents also had flat breads and sweet potato fries £4.20(which I thought were very over priced as the portion was quite stingy).

Done in Weymouth visiting family for the weekend and went here for a late lunch/early tea. Amazingly tasty food, friendly staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back 💕

Food was OK. However, portion size was so stingy, a tiny cup like bowl half filled with chips. Paying £47 for 3 burgers made the experience expensive and underwhelming. Not value for hard earned money.

"Lounge" is a great brand and the restaurants are generally dependable and good value. We ate in Nautico twice recently whilst staying in Weymouth. Food was delicious, as usual and the staff were fantastic. Every one of them was welcoming, polite and helpful; they all seemed happy in their work, you don't always see that. Makes for a relaxing atmosphere.

I've just got back from a charity bingo night at Nautico Lounge. The evening was brilliant, the friendly bar staff recommended an in-house made drink for me, which was spot on The food was delicious and served promptly. The bingo was a hoot and Aaron, our bingo caller, for the evening was a joy. I'm hoping they'll hold another bingo evening. I'd definitely go again.

Have been to Lounges bars in Paignton and our local new one in Yeovil. This one felt a bit dated in its appearance and its atmosphere. It was okay. The food was good. It is just missing the vibe and energy that the staff inject at Yeovil and Paignton. Maybe it's because the new bars start with a clean slate and training of a new team starts them motivated.

We have been in several Lounges and this was by far the worst! Two members of staff were sitting at a nearby table on a video call discussing the business very loudly - not very professional! The ladies’ toilet had no loo roll or soap - this was about 4pm and the loo hadn’t been checked all day. Definitely give this place a miss.

Hats off to the Manager. I was visiting from Bristol with my wife and came across this quirky place. Had a great time! Good food, good beer, great music. But what has put me off coming back to Weymouth is how rude some people are. The Manager was getting shouted at about a dog and he handled it so well. Felt sorry for him. Well done Nautico lounge. You are all fab and doing amazing

I'm afraid we had an hour and a half wait for food, my first choice Carribbean curry was not available... And my second choice was pretty average. The staff were lovely though, and I liked the venue.

Seems to have steeply gone downhill over the years since opening. Lack of food options in stock, expensive and not really as clean as it could be.

The reviews made us try this place, but we were slightly disappointed. We'd heard the aubergine harrisa flatbread was good so we went for that. Sadly, it was missing the chickpeas and pomegranate. The aubergine was like eating rubber, and the flatbread was like a stale pizza base/cardboard. We ordered 3 tapas dishes, the edamame guacamole had way too much raw garlic, and that's all we could taste, and the bang bang cauliflower was very burnt. We waited half an hour for food, but that was explained on arrival, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The decor was nice and there were games and a water station to help ourselves. There are lots of veggie options, a separate vegan and gluten free menu and lots of choice all round. However we sadly didn't enjoy the food so wouldn't recommend it.

Quirky and interesting location which was best part about this place I’m afraid. May be we went on a bad day. The flat bread was rock hard and the aubergines was undercooked and rubbery. It didn’t come with the pomegranate nor the chickpeas so paying a tenner was not worth it The potato bravas were just potato cubes with some sauce chucked on top of it. Can’t really call it potato bravas Bang bang cauliflower was burnt Shame about the food as it has put us off visiting a Loungers again

Food is still great but skimping on portions

Up until recently it would have been 4-5 stars, but it's hit and miss at the moment. In terms of food, I had some guacamole that definitely smelled sour some weeks back. They replaced it after I politely mentioned this and the new one arrived smelling fresh, but they sent the waiting staff member back to say that it was made that morning with no apology. Bizarrely, during a recent lunch visit the fries I ordered had a big slice of cucumber at the bottom of the dish, and on the last visit they had 3 lumps of something burnt mixed in with them. My food (some pitta and dip and a side of fries) also arrived about 10 mins after my partner (45 min after ordering) and no acknowledgement of this. Some of the staff here are really great and the food is normally on point, but it feels like others are dropping the ball recently.

Normally enjoy this chain's offerings but on a quiet, cold, weekday evening it wasn't the best experience. Staff were not particularly attentive despite one member of staff apologising for what she identified as poor customer service. Food and drink were decent but atmosphere poor. Maybe springtime in poor weather at a British seaside resort is not conducive to excellent hospitality. Previous visits to other restaurants in this chain have always been good. Perhaps we were unlucky.

Best steak I’ve had in a long time. I like the calm atmosphere in this cafe bar and also the fact that tables are spaced far enough apart so you can’t really over hear conversations on other tables. Most staff are friendly and happy to help. All in all, a great place.

Food and staff are very good but I do think it's ruined by the dogs being allowed to sit on chairs and up on tables I fully understand dogs being allowed into eating places but there should be a set area and they certainly shouldn't be on the chairs or tables that really is unhygienic and as a person that is allergic to dogs it's made me reluctant to go in again

Lovely restaurant, not too expensive and with a lively cozy atmosphere. It's friendly to children, families and dogs, and there's an outdoor seating area as well for those who smoke. The food is good for what you pay, I really like the chicken avocado burger and the Philly steak sandwich, the chips are divine. Sometimes they do run out of a particular item on the menu but that can't really be avoided. There are paper menus as well as digital ones and you can order either through the QR code on the tables or go to the bar and order there.

Needed somewhere to kill time with my four year old before the train and knew I could count on a Lounge Bar. First visit to Nautico, initial staff member was a bit grumpy but the rest very personable. Light and airy, food came quickly, relaxed and warm.

Absolutely delicious! Stopped here for brunch, (mostly the sweetcorn fritters lured this ex-pat into the place). Miami Brunch may be my favourite breakfast-y restaurant meal, ever! My husband's bacon butty with fried egg was also very good. The staff are an absolute delight, as well. We are only here for a couple of days but will try to come back. Thank you for such a great experience.
