Convenient for an ice cream break in front of the beach. Not really a beach view and street location with traffic, but small tables on the street are practical all the same. Staff at the reception sober and super efficient. Very reasonable prices. Good value for money. Special mention to the vanilla clotted ice cream, a treat! Very dog ​​friendly with a special ice cream section for dogs

Used a couple of times. Usually get a milkshake. Very tasty, good quality and great service from staff! Will be back again next time I'm in Weymouth.

Wide variety of ice cream flavours ranging from the conventional - strawberry, to the unconventional (to me!) - rhubarb, catering to everyone's tastes. The ice cream was tasty, and the quantity of scoops given was adequate. Other items are available such as a tea, hot chocolate, snacks, etc. We were served quickly upon arrival, barely waiting even while there was a queue because of the summer crowd. Staff were polite and cheerful. Adequate seating space inside to stay away from the sun and stay cool, and space outside for one to enjoy the warmth as they have their ice cream.

Sat on the pavement tables so a little noisy but to be expected. Good pot of tea, scones light and airy. Could have done with double the jam portion as the tiny jar wasn't nearly enough for 2 scones.

Fantastic ice cream.nothing too much trouble. Kids asked for something they saw at another shop,not a regular menu item here, but they happily accommodated. Ice creams very tasty. Sundaes are massive and out of this world.

I visited today with my family, we were all super happy with the pizzas, ice creams and drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful, we didn’t have to wait long for the food, and the seating outside was just what we needed. Can’t wait to come again.

Twas a windy, May morning upon the sprawling coastline of Weymouth. My wife and I were dreamily meandering along the busy and vibrant seafront with one thing on our minds.. Ice Cream! No sooner had my wife subtly gestured to me that she had no desire to walk any further, the welcome sight of a sign that read "Tom & Erin's Ice Cream Cafe appeared in my peripheral vision. "Goodness" my dear wife exclaimed. "Can it possibly be, that my dreams have been amalgamated into a version of reality that is wholly and unconditionally pleasing to me? " As it turns out, the answer was yes, yes indeed. I highly recommend.

Tasty ice-cream with good flavors to choose from. Reasonably priced, seating available and friendly staff.

My Husband was keen to go to a well known chain pub for some breakfast, I out voted him as I had popped into this cafe recently for ice cream and had noticed the quality of the food being served. Advantages are, Friendly service, you can sit inside or out with the beach just across the road, Quality bacon and Sausage Bap, fantastic ice cream and the coffee is amazing (and I am very picky about my coffee). All at an acceptable price. We visit Weymouth a lot so this will now be our go to place. I feel I must comment on the review about the Knickerbocker glory no longer being served as I think it's extremely unfair to mark down just because something's no longer available, talk about sour grapes. Trip advisor should remove that review.

Disappointed always look forward to a knickerbocker glory when we come down to weymouth for past years. Arrived there other day to be told they don't do them anymore just the cones and scoops. Very sad that they've stopped making them.

Pleasant staff, great ice cream and decent sized portions

We had noticed this ice cream parlours when walking up and down Weymouth front and having studied reviews decided to get an ice cream from it. We all enjoyed the flavours we got (salted caramel and banoffee for me) and would recommend it. The reason for only 4 stars, a recent previous post showed 3 scoops in the waffle cone. When we ordered, the price only included 2 scoops. Must be inflation!

We went in there for a coffee whilst waiting for the Jurassic Coaster and the lovely lady poured it into take away cups when our bus arrived early.

A bright and modern ice cream shop on the front serving a huge range of flavours, generous sized ice creams, including vegan. All done with a smile and a staff team who really care about what they are doing. We visited on the first day of our holiday and went back every day. Also has seating inside and out. Good luck for a busy summer ahead.

We looked all over Weymouth for a ice cream that stocked Lemon ! We finally found it here, the lady was really helpful trying to find some and letting us try it first! The other flavour were great too!

We always visit here for ice-cream when in Weymouth. Today the ice-cream was excellent as always (try the chocolate hazelnut) and the young girl who served us (Jessie) was brilliant- friendly and polite. We will be back Thank-you Jessie 😀

At 4.55pm the staff were both super nice very jolly and extremely polite. The place was very clean and well kept. The reeces milkshake was gorgeous, only trumped by the cookie dough brownie and salted caramel cake. Can highly recommend

Visited this ice-cream shop recently and was not at all impressed. We went whilst Covid restrictions were in place, they did have a full screen up but no hand cleaning set ups were available.No menu's were available either which meant we had to ask pricing for every item we ordered. I find ice-cream always expensive when by the sea and this wasn't cheap by any means. Kids didn't finish their desserts as they said it tasted funny. Having looked at the comments since our visit, I can only think what happened to the customer is always right?

Ice cream was over priced and tasted like it had little bits of sand in it! (Freezer burnt) nearly made me cry when I had to throw it away after how much it had cost me!

Took my daughter and grandchildren to Weymouth for the day and landed here for lunch. Wanted to sit outside but there were 3 people on one of the tables, one man was very loud, swearing and smoking , so we sat inside. The cigarette smoke was blowing in so we sat right at the back of cafe. I ordered a crab sandwich for £5.95, was very disappointed as the bread was cheap and thin and had been squashed flat to almost paper thin whilst being prepared, there was a lot of margarine in it too and a tiny side salad. My grandson had an ice cream, the cone must have been cracked already because as he went to lick it, the top promptly fell to the floor leaving just the bottom half of the cone in his hand. My daughter went to counter, the lady grudgingly gave her another cone but no flake this time, so he lost out. The staff were very friendly other than that, we could not possibly fault them, though we do think smoking should not be allowed at a cafe- right at the entrance. There was a pot of hot water with the tea and two tea bags in the pot-for-one which was much appreciated, therefore a rating of 3 is given

Finally a place that has more than just a sorbet option. Being dairy intolerant it's hard to come by one option let alone four different types of vegan ice cream also gluten free!!

Stopped in here after a visit to the beach among other places. I ordered a cream tea which was absolutely gorgeous and had several cups of tea from the pot. Very lovely staff. One thing I would comment is that it doesn’t look very good serving the clotted cream in hospital medication pots. But all in all was very nice

The people who work there,( Alison Jane and Lynn ) were very helpful and friendly, they went out of there way to be of an assistant. The food was well cooked and well presented. I would recommend a visit.

We have been in many times normally on a Saturday for ice cream with the children. Great selection of ice cream the kids love it, the young dark haired girl who normally serves on a Saturday is lovely so friendly, polite and helpful. We are looking forward to our next ice cream visit

Went in to grab a coffee whilst waiting for the bus. Walked in and the lady wasn't very friendly. She coughed without covering her mouth over our cups and it came to £4.20. I gave her £5.00. I only had £1 and £2 coins on me due to just putting a load of change into the bank. The lady short changed me by 80p. My fiance went back and asked for the 80p where she insisted I gave her exact change. Knowing that wasn't the case, I went back. The lady insisted to me also I paid exact and I proclaimed I didn't. She the rolled her eyes, went back into the shop, looked amongst what I'd given her and said "I'll give you the benefit of the doubt this time" (she'd obviously realised her mistake) no apology. Wont be going again!

Enjoyed a quick stop-off for an ice cream. Friendly staff and comfortable eat in space with sea facing view. Worth a visit.

Visited Tom and Erin’s for a leisurely lunch with mum in a wheelchair. Easy access for wheelchair friendly and helpful staff, food was excellent and freshly prepared. Good old fashioned service with a smile, partner visited ladies which was found to be very clean and had lovely soaps and hand creams.

Only a small café with a few tables inside and a few more on the pavement this place is always busy with a prime location by all esplanade bus stops right outside. Food is cooked to order and well cooked and the service is good from cheerful, friendly staff. Will definitely be going back for more.

If I could leave no stars I would . The Older lady with a brown Bob was very rude, we took a seat as a family over an hour before closing time to be asked if we were going to be ordering food to which we replied yes and she said “ok well you will need to be quick because we want to close early today “ . We had already checked the closing time online before hand and she made us feel if we ordered we would have to hurry up so we all got up and left and went to a much nicer friendly place just down the road .

This place in weymouth has great service. The best service I and my family have ever seen. First when we first arrived at weymouth, Our lunch was delicious and we agreed to come here every day. many times. We came here every day of the week. They cooked our food to the standard we wanted it and they were kind enough to make my mum and dads bacon crispy and I'm happy. On the First day They even offered me a biscuit. Was there today with my family. We received a very horrible welcome. The lady with brown hair was rude. I moved a few chairs as it wasnt busy and we needed some to sit together. We were minding our own business. She made rude comments to my mother about me doing so. Then proceeded to make comments about it to other customers. Ice cream was average. I would not come here again.

Decided to treat ourselves to a dessert here. Wow!. A fantastic choice with great service at very reasonable prices. It offers all the drinks and food that you would expect at a sea front café plus much more. It's also licensed, so you can have a beer if you want one.

Always stop here when in town. We are both disabled and they always provide us with great service. With outside seating it allows customers to watch the world go by as well as sea views.

Whilst waiting for the bus or strolling along the seafront this is an ideal place to get an ice cream whether eating in or taking away. Good value with plenty of choice and seating inside or outside under the canopy...

Cheerful seaside cafe serving popular dishes with a smile. Good selection of ice creams and desserts, but if you fancy a simple 'Whippy' then you're in for a treat: well priced, especially if you happen to be there during their happy hour, and unlike some other vendors in Weymouth, it tastes fantastic and really creamy. Always my first stop for an ice cream...or if I happen to be passing...or if I make a point of passing and having to stop in!
