We had lunch here and chose egg mayo sandwiches on brown bloomer bread, tea, and the special offer of two scones with jam and cream. Strangely, we were not allowed a choice of scone and were given ginger scones. They turned out to be pleasant enough with not too strong a ginger flavour although they fell apart when you tried to eat them and I ended up using a spoon. The sandwiches were well-filled and good.

Visited Dobbies garden centre, we used the cafe for a quick snack lunch and were impressed by both the service and value for money. A very pleasant seating area, good and varied menu choice and a perfect start or end to a tour around the garden centre, the selection of plants was excellent. Make sure you apply for a Dobbies discount card!

Wyvale now Dobbies lovely staff food really good we go nearly every Friday for lunch nice restaurant with a dog area and outside seating area.

We always head to the restaurant at Wyevale in Lelant for the absolute best service. The food is always freshly prepared and a varied choice. I have to say the staff are all delightful and work hard. To be honest all the staff go way beyond best customer service and I would love to work there - hey I’d even work for free. As many of the Wyevales are being taken over by Dobbies I hope this does not affect the great service and team spirit that is so evident there. I live 250 miles away otherwise I’d always be there. Still bought a water feature and lounger whilst there. I had the rainbow salad - beautiful. Well done to all at Wyevale Lelant

A lovely clean cafe with a good variety of food and drinks available. A great offer for the over 60’s. Unfortunately it’s being taken over by Dobbie’s in Late June so some of these offers will mo longer be available.

We eat here about once a month. Recently, we've had to wait longer than usual for ordered food to arrive. Today it was 47 minutes from ordering to arrival. They apologised, citing as reasons two being trained on the tills and new kitchen staff. But we suspect our order got lost, as several tables where people came in a good while after us got served, ate and left before our meals appeared. Let's hope it's a one-off...

Plant shopping and decided to try cafe, familiar with other Wyevale and this one didn't disappoint. It's decent food, at a good price point. Clean, good coffee (refill deal at 50p), excellent array of cake.

Asked for a panini advertised on board the lady taking the orders said it will have to be a toasted sandwich. Said I didn't want that so she then said she could do the panini??!! When it arrived it wasn't nice and it was a toasted sandwich. Mum had a jacket potato the skin was so burnt it was disgusting.

We came in specially for afternoon tea anout 2:45 and were very disappointed to be told there were only cheese or gluten-free scones left. Expressing that disappointment, we were then told somewhat inadvisedly that we should have booked. However, sensing our increasing anger, we were then offered two cakes instead of the scones for the same price. Not ideal, but a good reputation redeeming solution which we accepted. In fact, we returned a few days later and had the standard tea content.

Called in here for Breakfast and it was very good. Well supported even at 10-00 am We ordered from their large selelection for breakfast dishes and were not disappointed when our 2 poached eggs on 2 slices of toast, nicely presented arrived. I do not need Watercress on my poached eggs at that time in the morning..or any time for that matter! They were busy getting ready for valentines Day offers and Afternoon Tea seemed to be very popular so I was told, by the friendly chatty staff! Offering a good selection of usual dishes, nicely decorated room, light and very clean, good position before heading into St Ives. Good plant centre as well. Ample parking and disabled access from the car park . Free WiFi...

We came in after 2 pm so were able to order afternoon tea. Finger sandwiches; scones, jam and clotted cream; mini-meringues; and other smalll sweet treats. Great value, and you can even order free tea refills. Recommended!

Popped into the garden centre as we needed some new pots, and decided to stop for lunch. My husband had line caught cod (and it was a very large piece) with chips and a choice of garden and mushy peas, along with homemade tartar sauce. I like macaroni cheese, and am a bit of an expert on it. That day I had the best macaroni cheese I have ever tasted. From the first to the last mouthful it was truly delicious. The garlic bread which accompanied the mac cheese was extremely good, as it tasted of garlic, but did not overpower either the bread or the mac cheese. There were two disappointments. Firstly the wine is nothing special, but very expensive. Also, when you sit outside they ask you to clear your table because of the seagull problem, but there is nowhere to place your dirty dishes. There used to be a stand just inside the door, but that has now disappeared.

Went into wyevale garden centre restaurant on 8th September,With family and friends,for a spot of lunch,and all I can say it was wonderful,couldn’t complain at anything,didn’t have to wait long,and was very impressed,and I will say all the staff were so helpful and polite,but I’ve been in many places for lunch with my family before but I’ve never seen a harder working manager(think her name was Sarah)she was none stop from the moment we walked in,to the moment we left,credit to the company.will definitely be returning.

After going into the garden centre for many years ! was shocked yesterday at going for lunch soup and a sandwich was selected we had our sandwich and was nearly eaten but no sign of soup so my husband went to counter and asked quietly and discreetly where the soup was to have I believe to be the manager I think named Sarah )who is loud !!shouted from the chiller for the whole of the restaurant to hear that they were waiting on a new batch of soup ! In a tone that implied that you shouldn’t of asked no apologies were offered , and I would say it was impossible for her to of heard but had worked out what she thought he was at the counter for!! I felt it was bad and I think perhaps need to look at management structure to keep what’s always been one of the best garden centre cafes around the same

Food includes toasties and paninis and home made deserts at lunchtime, good breakfasts and breakfast sandwiches, and cakes and cream teas. All fresh,cooked to order (so they do get busy) and very reasonable. Best thing at the moment is the plumb crumble with ice cream - couldn't do better in a Michelin restaurant.

Stopped off here for a snack and coffee. the garden centre was very good but the cafe was superb Lovely cakes and coffees. The lady at the till was most helpful. The place was so clean and tidy. The best Wyevale cafe/restaurant we have been to.

We try to visit the garden center and the cafe daily and always have wonderful staff and café food the cafe staff deserve 5 star a every day ,they are always a happy team and totally professional ,

Yesterday I took my grandchildren and my mother here for lunch.

A top quality cooked breakfast, highly recommended. Great service as well. Got my wife’s order slightly wrong, but not a problem. Gave us free coffees, but wasn’t necessary.

I love this garden centre and always enjoy popping into restaurant at the same time as the staff are such fun and always happy and helpful.

Another visit to Wyevale and once again I’ve been totally pleased with the food and the staff. Thank you Freya for your help and kindness and to the rest of the girls for the warm welcome we receive on each occasion. Keep it up girls you go above and beyond Thank you.

My boyfriend and I popped in for breakfast after walking to Birdies which was shut.

I popped in here with my mother following her hospital appointment. I ordered a tea for her and a hot water for myself. I usually drink Lady Grey tea which they don't sell. I don't like their Earl Grey, which would be my alternative option, so I usually order a hot water.

just dropped in when visiting the garden centre..tea and cakes were very nice , good sized portions as well , nice pot of tea..plus we got points on our garden club card 1

The restaurant facilites have improved, provide a good choice of food, all of which appears to be very competetively priced. We were lucky and got a table. Forward bookings are recommended and we can now understand why.

Went for a coffee and snack,got the coffees but not the snack,so we waited and waited and then I asked for my money back as we had to go,but it turned out they didn't order it in the first place,There are no dairy free cakes,I asked and the lady went through everything and said that the nearest to dairy free was a fruit cake slice that was supposed to be dairy free but had skimmed milk powder in it.!!!The lady who rang me the next day told me,'Its a life style choice being vegan/dairy free and they didn't have to cater for it.How rude.I am very cross about this and will not be going back.

four of us had ham egg and chips for lunch which was lovely when we finally got it, considering they only needed to fry two eggs and a handful of chips we had to wait an hour and ten minutes, so if your in a hurry don't bother, other wise very friendly staff clean and well kept dinning area, I think we will stick to afternoon tea as usual it's great value and not a long wait either

After a brilliant week in St Ives we decided to call in, on a friends recommendation we stopped for breakfast before heading home. Staff were very nice and friendly, cafe seemed nice and clean, the breakfast, whilst freshly cooked was nothing exceptional and a little greasy.

We went for an afternoon out, and to see if their were any plants we wished to buy. However, this restaurant serves lovely food, so we just had to stay for lunch. We were not disappointed, and filled with some lovely food we went into the garden centre - and spent far more than we should have done. That's the effect of this restaurant, set in a garden centre,

Have just returned from afternoon tea @ Wyevale. I used 2x £6 coupons off usual price. I preordered & when we arrived the tea was all ready & waiting! I was very impressed. It was all beautifully presented & even included free top ups of drinks! The ladies behind the counters were so obliging & pleasant it made our afternoon ! We brought the scones ( cream tea) home for our tea so have yet to eat them, but they look very nice. Many thanks everyone

Love going to wyevale, perfect to relax, great service and wonderful choice of cake! All the cake and stand displays were very nice and tempting.

We were staying nearby in Carbis Bay and called in for breakfast. Food was exceptional, all freshly cooked & hot, sausage was particularly delicious. Would recommend you try it.

I visit the Garden Centre and Café fairly regularly. Normally I really enjoy the experience. However, last week the food in the Café was pretty dire. The counter service, unusually, was very slow. We were second in a long queue and we waited over 15 mins to be served.That was the least of it. The two-cheese salad I ordered was dire. A mound of unattractive grated cheese on a few hidden vegetables, which looked and tasted quite horrible. For the price, I expected a decent plate of cheese.This was a mashed up mess of mediocre baby food.The crumble dessert looked equally mushy and unappetising though it did taste a little more pleasant. On a positive note, the two members of staff who came to our table were delightful. And the garden centre itself was as good as ever (with an exceptional lady at the till.)

We booked ahead to book our cream tea. It was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cafe was busy but nice atmosphere! Thankyou

We called in here whilst passing for elsewhere. We ordered two cream teas, with a fruit scone and a raspberry and lemon scone (recommended).The counter service was excellent, but there were many dirty tables around, so we had to sit outside in the wind. The tea was good, but the scones were so large they had dried out and were quite difficult to eat.

Really enjoyed my breakfast here, I'm glad this isn't a costa store as the coffee is much nicer here, none of that wishy washy milky stuff here. Breakfast was nice with everything hot and of decent quality and the staff is always friendly.

We popped in expecting a cafe in a small shed squeezed next to the garden centre but it was large and modern. We only wanted a light lunch so ordered Tomato & Basil soup and it was very good. Friendly polite staff.

We had previously visited last year and on our way home planned a breakfast stop. Very friendly accommodating staff with superb food. Breakfast was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. Staff were engaged with every customer. The garden centre was also well presented with great plants. It may be part of a chain but this centre stands out!

We visited the Wyevale Lelant Garden Centre's restaurant for a late lunch during a walk.I ordered soup and a sandwich, and when asked whether I would like a muffin with the soup, said "do I get that with the soup and sandwich?".  "Yes" was the reply.We had to wait ages and ask twice before our meals eventually came even though there seemed few others waiting for their food.The food was good, although the soup seemed overwhelmed with barley.The meals were basically OK but when I had paid, I noticed that I'd been charged for the soup and sandwich separately rather than the discounted price for both.  It took some persuasion and summoning of the manager before a refund was conceded.  Even then, I had to get a full credit back to my card and sign a form before being re-charged correctly.  All because the order taker didn't handle things properly.If they can sort out the food delivery delays, I'd return.

The staff were friendly and efficient and we didn't have to wait very long for our excellent afternoon tea. We chose tuna mayonnaise along with cheese and tomato for our finger sandwiches, three each. Two large scones plus jam and clotted cream and selection of cakes completed our three tier cake stand. We had a pot of tea for two which was quite strong, just how we like it. We couldn't manage everything and the staff gave us a plastic container to take the cakes home. Even though this was a Christmas Voucher we shall definitely be returning again, with or without a voucher.

Dropped in to buy some pots and decided to have a coffee and cake. The service was friendly efficient and the coffee fresh and good quality supported by really nice cakes and scones, very impressed.

We stayed in Lelant and used the garden centre for breakfast on 3 mornings the food and the service was excellent. All of the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. We also had lunch there one day and it was exceptional value for money. The food was well cooked and extremely tasty .one of the nicest meals we had on holiday

I've nearly always got what I needed here and there was a good selection of cyclamen from white to deepest red.Excellent selection of other plants-the usual large garden centre things, clothes shop, indoor and outdoor furniture, cafe etc. Lots of parking and disabled bays near the doors.

The girl who served us was so friendly and the food we had was tasty. Definitely recommend the matcha green tea cake.

We often use this cafe as its part of our nearest garden centre. The cakes are always lovely and we always receive a warm welcome. Today we sat outside with the dog, the seting area was lovely and although close to the carpark it was quiet.

A well-cooked gluten free breakfast that tasted ok was but uninspiring. Staff were flexible and fast. would go back.

We just popped in for lunch today. My husband and I both had a main meal, dessert, and a cup of filter coffee for just £8 each.There were generous helping served quickly by the pleasant staff.The deserts were large and very good. We will call again.

As we have the loyalty card and are often sent vouchers we often have lunch or breakfast here.The service can be slow when busy but as it is in a lovely setting that hardly seems to matter.Food is tasty and home cooked and the fish and chips are especially good.

We've never actually had a meal there although the food does look good. It's coffee and scones for us. Cant' fault either.There's an outdoor seating area also.Atmosphere is good and staff friendly and professional.

At the time we went they were offering two breakfasts for the price of one, so with a drink each and a full english it was less than £10.00 all in, really good value. Food is wholesome and hot and the place has recently been refurbed so its clean and fresh. They do decent lunches too, from full roasts to sandwiches. Service can be bit slow when its busy.

We have visited a few times in the past 3 months. To say we were surprise and disappointed is an understatement. It was one of a few days out for me as I have been housebound due to a recent operation. When we arrived and tried to order 4 breakfasts we were told that you didn't have any left. There was no question of the staff offering us an alternative. I cannot believe that you had nothing availableThe staff just watched us leave. As we left we saw a board advertising your breakfast.

We stopped here for a breakfast treat and the food served was nice enough, freshly cooked to order. We had full English or combinations of it. Sadly the price is a little high - I would have hoped that the price of breakfast would include at least one drink, especially as this isn't waitress service or anything special. By the time we had finished our cups of coffee, we were still waiting for our food and so we had to order more drinks at even more cost . It's the added extras like this that people on a budget look for and make a difference in whether they visit again.

Came here for the first time in May with my boyfriend and we were really impressed with the staff they were super friendly. The food is delicious and really good value! Brought my parents here today and we had a lovely lunch. Really good meal deal (quiche, with salad and new potatoes, rhubarb and orange crumble and a coffee) just £8! Would recommend. It's also a lovely atmosphere :)

Dragged by the one who is the gardener,I trailed off for a snack. The place was pretty good at one time but seems tired now,nothing more than an area for the tired and bored I am afraid.

A brilliant garden center we have been visiting for many years. Now has an excellent restaurant which is very popular from everything from Breakfasts to Afternoon teas. Lovely homemade cakes.The Garden Center is well stocked and has a lovely gift department and lots of attractive cards too. They have recently added a Bon Marche clothes department. Well worth a visit.
