Always food on the menu is unavailable, however what you can get is good value for money meals. Nothing special but fills a gap.

Enjoyed a delicious meal as a family of five thanks to Vyv and his very welcoming and professional team of staff. We had a table with lovely views across the harbour. They even bought us a cake since they knew we had recently celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary. Thank you so much, we will be back again as soon as we are able!

Booked a table for the north London derby - great that you could do this! The downstairs bar has massive TVs at both ends and everyone has a good view. Food was good, great pies, generous portions and very reasonably priced. There was live music upstairs and a great terrace overlooking the harbour, so something for everyone!

The staff (Molly and Adele) were lovely but the food was terrible. I sent the first poached egg back as I couldn't be sure what it was meant to be, and got my food reheated 10 minutes later with a new and equally grim looking egg. I did think a chef should be able to poach an egg but appears not.

Popped into the Inn for some lunch and ordered the hunters chicken (amazing) and the other half ordered macaroni cheese, which she enjoyed. We received great service from Adele, who was always smiling and very helpful. Gave a 3* for the atmosphere due to the noise of the dogs. Will defo pop in again when the football is on. All in all, it's a great place to eat and drink with family or friends..

Popped in for a couple of drinks while moving our daughter into the area for university. We had a lovely evening and the staff were friendly and attentive. We didn't eat but the food coming out looked lovely so will definitely be back to try. Views over the harbour are beautiful.

The Chain Locker, the Falmouth Stable and the Quayside Inn (and possibly others) have outdoors tables next to a section of the marina. We entered the Quayside Inn off the High Street and didn't realise what the layout was in the rear outdoors area. We learned it's important to choose a table first to order food, so I'd recommend entering straight into the outdoor space (which is also possible from the High Street down a cut through), and choose your table and compare menus first. Then go into your chosen pub by their back door. The lady in the Quayside asked me to find a table number so I left my party upstairs waiting to order and went into the outdoors area to find a table and ring it back through on the phone. Not realising the layout of tables or distinction between sections of which pubs own which areas, I sat in the area for the Chain Locker pub as it was closest to the waterside. The lady in the pub advised the table I chose belonged to the Chain Locker pub, not the Quayside Inn, so I had to move. In my confusion and faff I also left my wallet on the table belonging to the Chain Locker pub. I only realised I'd lost my wallet long after we'd eaten. Luckily a good person had handed it into the Chain Locker and the staff in there were so nice. When I went in I saw how lovely it was I wished we'd eaten there. The food in the Quayside was quite tasty and hot. I had the lasagne. It didn't come with chips though which if I'd realised I may have ordered some as a side. The service was okay. There was one main lady working on her own mostly and she must have been very busy. The condiments, cutlery, salt and pepper and napkins were all located by the back door and were running low. She didn't have time to stock it up initially as she was serving other customers, so that was a short delay. When she did have time she refilled it and let us know we could go back up for what we were missing. The Chain Locker pub had little trugs of condiments and cutlery on each table and they all looked well stocked, so that also seemed a better system. If you were missing a knife you could always borrow one from an empty table nearby and not be held up. Overall it's a nice back garden area and pleasant choice of pubs to eat or drink at.

This was the second time we have been here. Good value and a good meal had the pub classic gammon and chips. Brilliant view out across Falmouth harbour. We were served by Adele who was brilliant and very nice

The hospitality I received from the Manager Vyv was incredible. He catered to all of our needs at all times even when questioning the menu and ensuring it would meet our expectations. The food was good, but the hospitality we received was excellent. Would 100% visit again. It is what you expect and there is no more needed.

Louis was fantastic !!! Good food good drink ( amazing chips ate all the kids leftovers 😁) Even gifted us a timber pallet to take Back the camp fire 👍👌😁

We got here after a very long, delayed trip from London and were looking for something nice to eat and we were lucky enough to get a table with sea views. I had scampi and chips and my husband had fish and chips - both were delicious and the service was Great. Jess and Louis were both really friendly and super efficient. It was lovely to be made to feel Welcome and have a chat with them both after our long journey too - Thank You!

10.08.24 party of 4 we arrived around 14.30 sat inside, lovely table chairs, we were all eating but paying separately, we asked if the food could be delivered together on table 4, this was agreed, we were then told after ordering that the wait would be 1.30 hours we were okay with that. Drinks were ordered the staff were polite etc. Starters for 1 arrived, chicken strips bbq sauce nothing special but okay, presentation appalling. Mains arrived, two at first, chicken burger, scampi chips, third shortly after rib with bourginion sauce, rather than food going cold, they started, eventually we were asked if anything else was ordered we said yes serloin steak, 10 mins later we had to go to the bar to check on the order, the guy behind the bar said he would check.. he said it was just coming we waited.. eventually it arrived very basic no frills but edible. No apology . Whilst eating the table was cleared, in my opinion the height of bad manners, only one had dessert, cheesecake which was very nice. Very poor hospitality, service.

First of all the staff were super friendly couldn't fault their service. We were told a 30 minute wait for food that's fine wasn't that busy but I think 30 minutes is more than expectable. An hour goes by no update from the staff. People that ordered half an hour after us received their food I ask after another 10 minutes for a refund to be told the food is coming now another 10 minutes later it arrived. Now it was nice and hot nowt special but packet mash. Most of the drinks on the bar unavailable. If you have time to kill and not fussy happy with standard pub grub at not cheapest prices then this is the place for you. Once again the front of house staff super friendly just let down by the kitchen staff

Good views from the bar ,has a basement area too ,you can stay here as well.,food usual pub fare ,reasonably priced .

After searching through a good deal of Public Houses in the Falmouth area for a dessert and pint combination, we stumbled upon the quayside inn. A quaint and welcoming atmosphere, we asked the barman if they would be able to provide us with a dessert. Although it was past 9 and I believe the kitchen was closed, Louis made it his No. 1 priority to see to it that our sweet tooth was satisfied. I had a wonderfully presented and delicious Eton Mess, whilst my picky companion opted for a chocolate ice cream with chocolate sauce (suggested by Louis), again delicious. After we had ordered our desserts, a few other tables decided they wanted them to! I felt awfully bad for Louis but he worked like a Trojan to complete the orders. We’ve had a wonderful time this evening and will certainly return to try the rest of the menu in the near future (as long as I can have Eton Mess for dessert!) . We visited yesterday evening for food and drinks. There were a few food options missing which was no problem however, a lot of alcohol choices were also not available. We ordered burgers, they were ok, nothing special. We didn't take advantage of sitting outside as it was quite chilly but the outside seating area is really pleasant. We were both really horrified though when we visited the toilets. The route to them and the toilets themselves are in an awful state. Really run down, unhygienic and in desperate need of repair. For a place that sells food it's really off-putting and I'm glad I didn't use them before I had eaten my meal. This was really surprising to see for a pub that is owned by Greene King, I have always experienced them to have such higher standards. The real positive about the visit was the lovely young lady behind the bar who was completely on her own and trying to do several jobs at once. She was so pleasant, polite and efficient. This pub is in an amazing location but desperately needs some investment. I'm afraid that due to the state of the toilets we won't be returning, and yes, they really are that bad!

Arrived around 8 and awaited service for about 15 mins. Upon ordering however was told that a very large section of the menu was unavailable. hey, it happens, according to our waitress (who was also working the bar) they had a big crowd last night which cleared them out. We placed our order and then (after having it delayed) were informed that they were out of a handful of other items and our order would have to be modified as the last few items "just got sold". We waited about 45 minutes for our mains to arrive and while the food was good the service was abysmal. Our waitress checked in once to refresh drinks (which they were also basically out of) and didn't mention that we would likely not be able to order desserts due to the kitchen closing. Had we been able to get our food in time or have been made aware BEFORE the kitchen closed we likely would've ordered something. Overall the food was good but the lacking service and overall atmosphere wasn't ideal. For a Saturday night where all surrounding businesses were booming it should've been telling that this place was practically empty. perhaps it was a fluke, or simply poor management but I'd take this into consideration before choosing this spot.

We have visited this lovely pub restaurant on a couple of occasions while in Falmouth visiting our son who attends Falmouth University. We had lunch and dinner and both were very good and very reasonable in price. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend The Quayside Inn and will certainly return when we go to Falmouth again.

Visit in the afternoon and had a very nice meal with excellent and friendly and welcoming service from our waitress and bar tender, Immy. Great views whilst enjoying the hot and tasty food. We would certainly visit again next time in Falmouth 😊👌

So, last sunday, 20th April, a group of us went out on our motorbikes. We came back via Truro, then Falmouth. We had a wander around Falmouth Town, and as we passed, The Quayside Inn one bright spark came up with the idea to go in for lunch. So, my boyfriend and I ordered the roast beef lunch. I was so disappointed when the meal came, the veg, the roasters, and the cauliflower cheese were all cooked from frozen, like Aunt Bessie's!! The beef was so chewy, and the Yorkshire pudding was flat, and I thought it was an American pancake. I must say, the best, best roast I have ever had in Falmouth was at Stunnells, which used to be under the then Cutty Sark. Jess Stunnell cooked everything from fresh. Everything was cooked to perfection every time. So, I would not recommend eating at The Quayside Inn if you want a proper homemade roast. The cost of the meal came to around £32 for 2 roasts, of which half was probably cooked in the microwave.

Booked for an early Sunday evening, roast was on menu so both chose Turkey, it came extremely quickly which should have been an Indication, Turkey was nice, carrots,peas,broccoli was fine, cauliflower cheese was hardly warm as was Yorkshire pud, roast parsnips dried up and hardly warm, gravy was hot but really,really thick almost congealed, pigs in blankets again hardly warm and dried up, a couple came in after us and told no roasts left, think we must've had the dregs left, wasn't asked when plates cleared if all OK as most of meal left, could've, should've said something but so tired after horrendous journey just couldn't be bothered,food other people had off menu looked and smelt nice wish we d opted for something else. On plus side staff pleasant and pub seemed nice atmosphere will probably come again for meal off the menu. Edit of review, we came in Thursday evening to try again, we both had pie off the menu, 5 🌟 , was really nice, so glad we gave another go and again lovely staff

Really beautiful place. Came in for a 3 joint birthday lunch on 30th Dec 23, fantastic food, amazing service, team was extremely friendly, even with us after a few bottles of wine. Really great meal out and enjoyed by our whole party. Owner was very accommodating to us. Highly recommend this location, will be making it a more regular spot fantastic value for money, even down to the salad was fantastic. Amazing! Thank you guys 😊 cheesecake absolutely to die for!

Organised a large Christmas event, the staff were really friendly and helpful organising and were very accommodating.

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast overlooking the Quay. Really good food, served pretty quickly and enjoyed with some well-kept beer. It was quite quiet, which meant you could enjoy conversation but also meant the atmosphere was lacking a little. It was busier downstairs, though.

Great lunch and drinks package ( think wetherspoons but with better food). Loved the menu choices plenty of choice for veggies and vegans too. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The views were gorgeous. Definitely will be a favorite place to come and eat when I'm in Falmouth. P.s the halloumi and roasted veg wrap was fab!!

Such a warm friendly welcome from the lunch time staff today. We had two really delicious curries which were served piping hot. Coffee was nice too and a nice glass of wine all for £21. Such a bargain. Thank you to the great staff. We will be back.

The pub has a great setting with views over the harbour, service was ok, the food however was a bit of a let down, burger was small and tastless low quility meat. Fries very few. For the price paid, I expected more Quility.

Good atmosphere, clean, bar staff friendly, only nipped in for a quick drink.

We’re from Plymouth, we called in tonight for a drink, Giff was amazing, his service with a smile made our night! The landlord also was so welcoming! Directed us to the best places for drinks when the pub closed…. Talked us through the drinks he had to offer and recommended some really good drinks. When we come back - this pub is the reason why 🙂

A very warm welcome was received at this Green King pub in Falmouth. The food was generously portioned and well cooked and tasty.

What a shame the meals are clearly microwaved. We had lasagne and pizza, all of which were freezer burned and obviously microwaved. The waitress had trouble working out 2 scoops of ice cream for 4 children. The chicken strips were frozen and reheated and the steak pie had two pieces of meat and didn’t seem all that fresh. Seems like a shame since there’s a gorgeous view not to actually provide quality food.

Absolutely amazing food, staff and atmosphere. Came here with my dad for some lunch and was recommended the fish and chips by a member of staff… we sat outside down stairs and was very quick but good service… the fish and chips were beyond what we expected… especially for the price we paid! They went all out and I can honestly say it’s the best fish and chips we have had! And I’m from St.Ives which says a lot! Photo included… definitely recommend this place even if you aren’t in the area.. get yourself there as the trip is worth it! Thank you!

We had a great time at the Quayside, drinks are great, food is good and service is second to none. The prices are also very reasonable. Staff are so friendly and helpful, we were informed there was only 1 chicken burger left after we had ordered two but the staff made sure that we were happy with the new meal choice and also reimbursed us. They also were really attentive throughout the meal, checking if we needed anything and were always around to help. They are also quick at the bar and happy to answer questions. They were also really reassuring and helpful when asking about sports being showed, meaning my partner was still able to watch his team play despite it not being a local club etc. Thanks again for brilliant service to the entire team at the Quayside, we will be returning!

Enjoyable experience. Took my neice out for a girly meal. Unfortunately her menu choice was sold out and we weren't told until I had tucked into my meal. There was no real substitution she enjoyed. She had pasta but didn't like the sauce, so I got her a second dessert, not ideal but the service was fantastic and the staff so appologetic for the error. Would definitely go again, the gammon was so thick and tender. Meal was good value and substantial.

Very pleasant little pub in the heart of Falmouth with a lovely view of the quay from the bar. Food was tasty, service was good, and drinks were the going rate. Recommended.
