We came for our tradition of having a doughnut on our visit to Windsor. Ordered 2 chocolate dreamcakes as well as a cup of tap water. Staff were very friendly and gave a really generous amount of water with ice. (They did not have to do this for free). Overall, great experience

Lovely place nestled just near Windsor castle. Staff are absolutely lovely and attentive. Food was pretty good - possibly a little lacking in flavour. The Prince Harry memorabilia everywhere was quite amusing and it's definitely a good place for a meal if you like the royals!

Had a lovely time at this pub. Staff were kind and I felt very welcome. Went on a Saturday and people were dancing 🕺 💃 inside. Super fun 🤩

I got a coffee and a veggie breakfast. Coffee was decent. The food and service was a bit disappointing. We weren’t told until the food had arrived that there were no beans. The eggs weren’t cooked properly (had runny whites) and one of the yolks was broken before even arriving at the table. The toast was more like just bread, as it wasn’t toasted that much. Veggie sausage was fine though. All of that and the staff weren’t the friendliest. The two people working felt a bit harried despite coming at a pretty slow time.

Visited recently and was disappointed however maybe just a one off. Staff were a little flat and didn't really know what they were doing. The order came out wrong and I didn't particularly like the food. Great idea and location and hopefully will get better.

We had the vegan and full English breakfasts and both were pretty dire. The vegan breakfast was cold, the mushrooms looked like they had been re heated for the 10th time and the beans were a watery liquid with a few beans floating around, and I have never seen a light green hash brown before. The standard full English wasn’t any better - cheap ingredients and one tissue thin slice of bacon. The drinks were nice and service polite. Just a shame about the food. Overpriced for what it was.

Though we booked our table a week ago, we were told that we’d have to sit in the bar or lobby due to Christmas events that had been booked. In fairness though, the bar area was nice. The food was a different story though, unfortunately. I have never viewed myself as much of a cook. However, what I rustle up is definitely much tastier than what I got at Callies. My wife’s food was similarly poor. I ordered a pasta dish and from the moment it arrived I realised things were off to a bad start. It looked like supermarket spaghetti chucked in a bowl with a few prawns. The taste matched the presentation. Bland and not very nice. My wife went for fish and chips, which at the price we expected to be of the finer variety. We would have been better going to the chip shop. That way the fish would have been nicer at least. She had a piece presented that had a hard black patch on it which she left on the side of her plate. The pricing in this restaurant would be fair if the food was good. Unfortunately it was not.

An excellent venue for my evening birthday celebrations. Environment was superb, food delicious and great to have live music and excellent service from the team - highly recommend G&T

Authentic pub with a great selection of beers. Lovely friendly staff, proper landlord, great food, nice outdoor space with heating. My third visit and I’m enjoying it more every time. If you visit Windsor then make sure you pay a visit. I highly recommend the Lamb Biryani if you’re having a cheeky bite.
