Small friendly pub, decent prices, friendly staff and excellent food in generous portions. Liked it so much we went twice in one day. A definite recommend 👍

Charming pub ideally situated, we stopped here for a bite to eat and some cocktails. The food and service is very good. Excellent homemade pie and the chips were out of this world. Desserts looked great but had no room left! Fairly priced and would deffo return again.

The Prince Harry Pub is an EXCELLENT place to eat. We'd been in the greater London area for a week, and today we came here after touring Windsor Castle. It was, hands down, the best meal we've had during this entire visit. The beer batter haddock (which was cooked to perfection), chips, salad, and cheesy garlic bread were super fresh and full of flavor. The atmosphere was delightful as well due to the fantastic, funny, friendly staff, and the thoughtful Prince Harry theme. Thank you to the entire crew at The PHP!!

The food is phenomenal. The gravy is something I will dream about, seriously. The food is 11-15 pounds per entree, and you get quite a bit. And the personnel are helpful and kind. Trust their recommendations for food and beer. I had the bangers and mash, soup of the day, and toffee pudding. My friend had the pie and two beers.

Given the name and location, one would think that this establishment could be a tourist trap, but it was anything but. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and treats you like family as opposed to rushing you in and out knowing that they will never see you again. As for the food, the portions were large, piping hot and very tasty. We had Bangers and Mash and Fish and Chips along with a local lager. All were well received. This is a great option for those visiting Windsor, especially the castle as the entrance is mere steps away.

The homemade food tastes lovely complimented by servers Toni and Abby who were polite and very friendly. Couldn’t recommend enough !

Great place located close to Windsor Palace. Very traditional pub with great food. We both had fish and chips which was outstanding. Service was great asking us several times if we needed anything. Was also fast service as we are tourists looking to see so much in a day. Got the history of the building and how/when it got the “Harry” name. Really good -highly recommend.

I came in for a meal, the pie here is very good. Rich with lots of filling. It's rare to find one as good. 10/10 for that pie.

Beautifully cooked food. Good beer/wine. Knowledgeable front of house. Really would recommend it! Select menu, cooked and prepared mainly from scratch. Just ensure you arrive early as kitchen. closes at 20:00 Only downside head of house is an ex engineer!! (Just a bit of banter folks)

We came across Prince Harry’s and are so happy we did. The service was friendly and professional while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere. The potions were ample and food was served piping hot and fresh. We were pleasantly surprised. The menu offers a good variety and we went with Beef and Ale pie with chips. We would suggest to anyone: families, couples and work colleagues.

Everything was perfect. Recommend the haddock fish and chips and the roasted chicken. Also apple crumble with custard was awesome

Traditional pub in the very heart of Windsor with gorgeous food and a very welcoming atmosphere. So good that we booked again for the Sunday lunch. We didn't regret it. Everything was delicious. The staff are fantastic.

Lamb and vegetables cooked perfectly with flavour. Service & welcome second to none. Perfect ambassadors for the proper English pub experience. My American friends will love this place.

A stone's throw from Windsor Castle in a quiet little street. Quickly welcomed and served. Simple and good dishes, completely affordable. Very nice waitress. Recommended with children

It’s easy to walk past this pub and dismiss their food as it doesn’t look foodie, but in fact everything is home made, and was really great. Highly recommend the pie and mash. Generous portions, reasonably priced, and staff were great.

Delicious food with excellent service at reasonable prices. The waitress provided excellent recommendations. The bangers and mash were great. Our best and favourite meal on this visit to London and area.

This pub is very conveniently located right outside Windsor castle which helped quite a lot once we finished touring the castle that morning / early afternoon. We loved the food here! I ordered the bangers and mash and it was the best I had of our whole vacation in the UK! And to top it off: they also served us some of the best sticky toffee pudding we’ve ever had. Portions were big and prices were very reasonable. I wish I could come back here…

We had 3 fabulous meals at The Prince Harry during the last week of April 2024. The food was outstanding . The steak & ale pie was so good , my partner had it twice.The service was great. I've only got good things to say about it. Hope to come again in August when we visit our family again

This place is an incredible gem. Please make a stop here if you can! We came on a Sunday and had a delicious Sunday roast with homemade everything. The halloumi fries were delicious and of course, the sticky toffee pudding was perfect. The service was above and beyond and we wish we could describe how great of a time we had.

Love this place! Food is absolutely delicious. I ordered seabass which was the best I've had so far. My nephew ordered a steak (which was massive). Great service and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely supper here with friends. They do great food and their service is brilliant, but it would be really great if they offered glasses of Chiraz rather than only bottles. That would give them five stars for service from me.

Absolutely fantastic food across the menu, we were a booking of 11, and so well looked after by the very friendly staff, and very last minute too Have been back since with a local friend, and again just superb service, food and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Great Sunday roast, great service and very welcoming.

Great atmosphere and so warm and toasty! Staff were super helpful and friendly and the ✨vibes✨ were there. However need to pay some attention to how cooked the meat is, ordered a rare steak and it came closer to medium/well. Also tend to pour an insane amount of thick glossy gravy on everything else on the menu …

One star for not asking me if I want to pay extra tip, this is uk not America and the owner should be paying for the staff salaries, this kind of practice is toxic and stressful for the client and waiters.

Warm welcome with great service, food, local ale, cider, wine and cocktails. Perfect location for visitors and a great vibe for locals. The pub is steeped in history and is ideal for families as well as groups, couples or sole patrons. Tony and his team make this one of the best pubs in town. Well worth a visit.

Bar staff were nice and people seemed to be enjoying themselves but the food was bland made with minimum effort and the chips were under cooked.

We were in Windsor and it seemed appropriate to eat at the Prince Harry Pub. The place was really cute with a laid back atmosphere. We were seated right away and still water ordered for the table. Two in our party wanted the fish and chips, one adult and one kids plate, we ordered a burger and a chicken burger. My chicken burger was by far the best as it had a good flavor to it. The burger was a fat patty cooked well done with not much on it. The fish were a bit bland. The fries were crispy and tasty. All in all we had a great experience just being in Windsor and this was icing on the cake.

Amazing Sunday lunch, gorgeous pudding and brilliant and friendly service. We will be back. Without doubt the best pub in Windsor

PRINCE HARRY'S FAV PUB 🫅🏼 📍Windsor, UK ⭐️4/5 💸 £ 🍴This past weekend, we visited #Windsor, and after a long visit to the famous royal Windsor Castle, we felt that it was the perfect occasion to visit maybe the non-royal Harry's favorite pub in town? As you can see in the pic, I was madly in love with what I ordered: a delicious slow-cooked pork belly, served with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and red wine sauce 🍷 We also tried their daily mushroom soup, which was delicious! Definitely, if you are visiting Windsor, pop into this gorgeous pub for a cozy British meal!

This is a Lovely cosy pub we were here for drinks but then decided to have some food too as the place seemed fun and had a great atmosphere. The bar staff were lovely & friendly and were serving the most amazing mulled wine. our lamb & pie was delicious, the recommended dishes did not disappoint. However one member of staffs behaviour was extremely odd & temperamental, and seemed like he was hell bent on ruining the great atmosphere & kept turning off The Christmas songs. If he cheered up a bit & kept the festive spirit going we would of stayed longer. But I would definitely recommend this pub if your in town and hopefully it’s his weekend off when you visit

Traditional pub in the heart of Windsor. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation on a busy Saturday afternoon. The staff were friendly and very helpful rearranging things to seat 6 of us. The homemade meat and ale pie was excellent. Great gravy as well.

The atmosphere was very cozy and our waiter was super friendly. The food was tasty and not too pricey. We also really enjoyed our mulled wine. We totally recommend visiting this place!

Really horrid staff, poor customer service, food was awful staff couldn’t have cared less - better places to go in Windsor. Just one of many places trying to cash in on the royal family connection. Should have guessed by the name.

I was a bit apprehensive having read some of the negative reviews on this pub but it came highly recommended by my sister's boss and he is usually right. From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel welcome even down to finding me a fan as I was melting in the warmth of the place. The food was delicious, probably the best roast dinner we have had in a long time. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food came quickly and hot! I had the roast chicken which was so tender and the gravy was lovely! I really don't know why anyone woud have a bad word to say about this place because we had no complaints at all. We will definitely be back!

Walked in to Prince Harry Very nice atmosphere and chilled back after a very long walk of touring around We was served by an amazing gentleman Tony Food was extremely delicious, soup of the day was delicious and i can express how the Lamb Shoulder was, soft, falling off the bone, full of flavour and how can i not forget the Jus everything was Scrumptiously Delightful Would definitely come back and 100% recommend 😊 Thank You Tony for your amazing service and recommendation!

Nice place, we went there around 4pm when I felt peckish and the service was quick and the soup was excellent. The walls adorn several photos of Prince Harry through his life, and as you enter there's a massive picture of Harry & Meghan.

Not a very friendly place, no thanks after ordering a couple glasses of wine. What is wrong with bar staff these days, dont they really want your business? No wonder there's only 6 people here.

I am very visibly disabled with mobility problems. When I arrived, I wanted to desperately use the toilet before choosing between the real ales. The bar man gruffly told me to go to the public toilets outside which were down steep dangerous steps! Afterwards I soon found a nice friendly pub with a view of the castle.

One of a number of pubs near the castle. All very similar. This one compares well with the others and also has some outdoor seating. Worth dropping in for a beer.

We had the best Sunday Roast ever. We had Roast lamb, all on an enormous bone, so succulent and more meat than we have ever had . Delicious fresh vegetables, perfect Roast potatoes and enormous yorkshire pud. One of us had Roast chicken more than half a whole chicken, again on the bone. It was sooo tasty. Mango and passion fruit cheesecake was delicious, topped off by coffee. The staff were wonderful, it was very economical, , especially for Windsor.

Eis que deparamos com o "pub" - e "farejamos um convite": logo entramos (estava quase vazio, mas o ambiente estava agradável - e isso, naturalmente, facilitou o bom atendimento). Tomamos chopes diversos e nosso netinho tomou algo compatível com sua idade. Fizemos, assim, uma pausa boa, descontraída, tranquila, sem pressa. Nada comemos, porque tínhamos almoçado, havia não muito tempo.

Wir waren nach der Besichtigung vom Castle hier. Sehr nette Bedienung, ich hatte den Seabass mit jungen Kartoffeln. Die Preise sind human.Die Toiletten waren auch sauber. Typisch britischer Pub. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Had a great dinner in this pub. The food was amazing (we had the lamb shoulder, pork belly and sticky toffee pudding), the service was very fast and friendly. Overall great value for money given how close it is to the castle. Would highly recommend it.

After a thoroughly disappointing visit to Windsor Castle (don't bother), we stumbled upon this pub to kill some time before heading to Heathrow. Now called "The Prince Harry", we found the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming, fine beer and cider on tap, and good food (fresh and hot fish and chips). It was by far the highlight of our visit to Windsor.

We had lunch on Friday 19th May. We were looking at starters and mains. We were advised by Tony that the Shoulder of Lamb was a very large portion and we may struggle with a starter as well. Really rare today to get that sort of very helpful advice. He wasn't wrong, the portions were very good. Can recommend the Shoulder of Lamb and the Steak and Ale pie, both were superb and Tony was such a nice guy. Very happy customers.

A Royal Experience, But Not Quite Fit for a Prince Rating: 3.5/5 Last weekend, our family of four had the opportunity to dine at the Prince Harry Pub in Windsor. With its prime location right next to the majestic Windsor Castle, this pub certainly piqued our curiosity. Upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and cozy atmosphere. The staff were quick to seat us and take our orders, which is always a plus when dining out with a family. Our waiter was friendly and attentive throughout the evening, ensuring our glasses were never empty. As for the food, we opted for the burgers, fries, and slow-cooked lamb. While the presentation was visually appealing (see attached photos), the taste was nothing out of the ordinary. The burgers were decent, but we've had better elsewhere. The slow-cooked lamb was tender but could have used more seasoning to make it truly memorable. One downside of the pub was the higher than average pricing. We understand that the premium location near Windsor Castle likely plays a role, but it would have been nice to see that extra cost reflected in the quality of the food. In conclusion, the Prince Harry Pub offers a lovely atmosphere and friendly service, but the food could use some improvement to match the royal surroundings. The next time we visit Windsor, we will likely explore other dining options to find a more satisfying culinary experience.

ウィンザー城を観光したあと、ランチで訪問しました。 子供連れでしたが、入店する際に同じく子供連れのファミリーが出てきたのを見て安心しました！ アルコール2杯とラムショルダー、エビのパスタをオーダーしましたが、ラム肉がホロホロで本当に美味しかったです。イギリスの外食にはがっかりすることもありますが笑、今回は当たりでした！！味付けは塩味がしっかりしており、お酒が進みました。 パスタはアルデンテではありませんが(想定内)、エビが美味しかったので満足でした。 店員さんもフレンドリーかつサービングとても良かったです。 We had a lovely lunch here! Especially the lamb shoulder was unforgettable. Nice atmosphere and service. Hope to visit again!

Absolutely lovely dinner, very attentive staff and very good quality meal. I loved the touch they made for my mum's birthday - the slippery nipple went down a treat! I had a call from a private number prior to our sitting regarding my booking which asked for a deposit on our booking (very accurate). Do NOT listen to this, the team does not take deposits for bookings, it is very likely a scam via OpenTable. I spoke to the manager who was apologetic and very adamant they would escalate the issue. Will return here.

We visited this pub for dinner before going to the theatre. We have eaten here before and I have to say the food is excellent. The landlord is a great asset to the pub as he welcomes his customers. He’s a jack of all trades and can give great local knowledge of Windsor.

Comincio con il dire che non è niente di particolarmente entusiasmante, ma era quello che cercavamo. Piccolo locale carino ed informale nei pressi del castello di Windsor (di cui consigliamo assolutamente la visita). All'interno il pub è abbastanza caratteristico per il luogo. Ci siamo fermati a pranzo. Il menu è abbastanza vasto, con piatti a prezzi anche decisamente abbordabili. Abbiamo preso un "chicken burger" (un panino con pollo arrostito molto semplice) servito con patatine fritte e un "pork belly". Il "pork belly" non era altro che una tracchia di maiale (ma di un taglio poco più grande di carne rispetto all'ordinarietà), servita con una salsa Barbecue un po' più accentuata. Il tutto su un letto di purea di patate. I ragazzi che ci lavorano sono molto educati e gentili. Il conto onesto, con l'aggiunta di una birra abbiamo pagato poco più di 33 sterline. Forse un po' eccessivo il prezzo del panino con pollo arrostito, era molto semplice. Comunque posto consigliato per un pasto veloce.

I had read not to eat in the main area near the castle, but we were tired and hungry and stopped here rattan look around. What a great choice! I had the steak and ale pie and the waiter told us it was done “right proper” and it was! The best I had while in the UK! I thought the prices pretty reasonable.

What a charming gem of a find in Windsor! The venue is full of history, having been the first Guildhall in Windsor when originally built in 1518. Lots of character and a good ambience abounds. Really good British pub fare on offer - and the beef & ale pie was to die for. Simply delicious - sitting on some tender broccoli and carrots, steeped in a very tasty jus (gravy), and good chunky chips on the side! Good portions, along with welcoming, attentive staff made this a memorable outing. Additionally, big screens on offer providing televised coverage of the Six Nations scheduled games. Plus, the pub is literally located 5 mins walk away from the entrance to Windsor Castle. You simply can't go wrong - highly recommended!

Quite old Dec, seems to be lots years, staff are good, food on average, but location really good, on a cobble street and just off high street easy to find, used to call different names.
