Lovely looking venue, was confident they knew what they were doing with allergies… but unfortunately two of our party are celiac and both were glutened. Two very unwell ladies this evening. Food was also cold, when we told the waitress… she just walked away. I doubt I would ever return.

Sat outside on a beautiful Sunday evening. Asked waitress if I could order from her. She directed me to the QR-code on the table. I ordered a £12 pear and ginger margarita. Eventually arrives plus £2 service charge for the 10M walk from the bar. The most frustrating aspect was I couldn’t believe The Copper Club would play the age old “let’s fill the glass with ice” and leave about an inch for the actual cocktail. I “tongue in cheek” asked the waitress if she would ask the bar person to pour the remaining half of my cocktail in my glass now some of the ice had melted. I didn’t hear back. So instead of staying and enjoying the evening I moved to another bar / restaurant and spent my money on further drinks and a meal. As I’m in the Cyber Security Sales I spend and have influence over large expenses budgets for entertaining clients and partners. This might appear petty but it’s just not good value and took the edge off what should have been a nice relaxing evening.

I booked a table for 20 people with no problem at all but at the last minute had to increase it by 2 more. This was absolutely no issue whatsoever with this establishment. This meal was the evening prior to my son's wedding for family members from all over the world so very important. When we arrived we were greeted with warmth from the various members of staff, everyone was so helpful and patient (patience was needed I can assure you). I was taken though to where we would all be dining and it was a lovely private space that could not have been better. The service was second to none and a special shout out to Ella who was brilliant with all of the different requirements from our party, of which there were many. Everyone was so kind and there was absolutely no pressure at any time. When we came to pay the bill it was such a complicated affair, but, as with everything that evening this was done with such patience. I would like to thank Jamie especially. He was wonderful. I am only sorry that he did not get the chance to have a chat with my son as Jamie has a very special event himself coming up very soon. Unfortunately parking restrictions broke up the party for some of us sooner than others. I hope that your special day goes as well as my son and his now wife's day did, it was magical and the evening prior to this wonderful day kicked everything off perfectly! Thank you all that took the time to be so kind and patient on that evening, this review does not really come close to how grateful I am for all that you did for us.

service from jamie was exemplary.

Slick ordering using a QR code and table number. Then waited and waited until eventually venturing inside only to see our drinks sat on the bar whilst the staff stood around chatting. This was slat a quiet time, who knows whether it gets better or worse when they are busy.

Lovely place. Best Espresso Martini ever in there. Atmosphere is brilliant. Had a lovely meal. Service was excellent. We were a big group and looked after very well.

My experiences here have been very mixed. The restraurant itself is beautiful but service is very varied depending on the day - sometimes it's very warm, other times it's cold depending on the server. Some food items are nice however some are awful - for example I had the fish & chips a few weeks back and it was really bad. The batter was so thick and hard it was like a shell, definitely not worth the money. The steak is usually good here.

Amazing bar service from bartender Ante. We had 2 nights stay in Maidenhead and we visited Coppa for drinks on a Friday and Saturday night. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing (the place not being over crowded) and the bar staff looked very well after us. On both occasions we have been served by Ante, who made us tasty drinks and always had time to have quick chat with us . Very professional and well experienced. Thank you !

We had the most amazing time tonight. From the moment I booked with lovely Louis, to be welcomed in by Ella and served and helped by Jamie. The food was excellent, beautiful wine and there was an awesome live singer! Amir! Ella told me that working for her manager Jamie has been such a great experience and what a difference he's made. We had a wonderful night and I'm so grateful. We were welcomed in like family xx

Visited as a family of 4 for Mother’s Day. The food was delicious, portions were generous and all dishes were nicely presented. The front of house manager was really friendly and helpful. General service was all over the place - we were served by 6 different people. Starters got served before our drinks arrived and desserts from the set menu arrived before some of our guests had finished their mains. There was one person who didn’t order off of the set menu and their dessert arrived 35 minutes later.

Popped in for an early dinner - Giada was so nice in finding us a table for two, despite a busy booking evening, and very politely explained we could have our table for only 90 minutes or so because of other bookings! This was fine of course. She’s a real star.

The owners need’s to employ people who are respectful towards people of different backgrounds. The woman in the black hair is very rude and very disrespectful. Disgusting behaviour.

Delightful, efficient and attentive service from the employee: Giada.. We visited on Tuesday 11th March for lunch. Giada could not have been more polite, pleasant and helpful, and not intrusive in any way. Positively lovely time catching up with friends. We will definitely return sometime... I came in to do some work on a Monday morning & had the plancha grilled chicken, skinny fries & aioli and it was absolutely amazing. The Manager Patrycja made a really impressive caramel latte with some cool latte art on top. Definitely recommend coming in for coffee as it’s the best coffee in the town. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home with the warm atmosphere the restaurant brings. I come in very regularly and would highly recommend visiting!

Great music and cocktail list- the cool classics . Food was of very good standard. Very attentive and positive service from Ella-chucking in on our needs and experience, which is rare these days. Would come back because of that.

Just wanted to thank Louis and the staff accommodating our party of 14 this week (Feb 2024) after I had mistakenly booked in the wrong date! Everything was exceptional from the service, food and atmosphere. Since it was a business meal, the bill was handled efficiently and with ease. Thanks Coppa club! Looking forward to visiting again.

We met for a school reunion (40 years on!) and we had such a good experience. A long table at the end of the restaurant made it feel like private dining and the staff were relaxed about us staying the whole evening. Menu choices suited everybody, and a great range of drinks options (the waitress let me taste the wine before ordering a bottle). Staff were polite, helpful, discreet and efficient throughout. It's a great location too - showcasing the changing and improving High St in Maidenhead for those who'd been away many decades.

Joined a birthday lunch late, but Ella S was totally fine and asked for my f&b order. We had a baby and two young boys and Ella S was superb, chatty with them and respectful of their cheeky chat! What an absolute breath of fresh air Ella S provided to our celebration. We all coincidentally commented how wonderful she was!

The girl who served us, Ella S was excellent. She had great customer service skills, great knowledge and didn’t stop smiling. We were a party of 7 with 3 kids and she dealt with everyone so well and all their requirements. I would go back to Coppa Club as a result of her superb service. I work in hospitality and if the venue where I worked was local, I would employ her in a heartbeat 😀

Valentines night I booked the wrong time and my booking was cancelled because I didn't turn up!!! The manager tried to called me. I realised my mistake and he still on a very very busy night managed to give me a table with great professionalism. 🙏🙏

Really poor quality breakfast. Service was poor as well. Ordered coffee and didn’t get served. Had to wait for 15min to get attended to. Ordered pancakes and they came burnt and so did the eggs. The quality in this place has gone from bad to worse. Decided to give it another go but now I regret wasting my time and money in this place. Really sad to see the decline in quality.

Review on Coppa, Maidenhead Coppa Club Maidenhead - We took a family that had come from abroad on holiday and there were 8 of us. The staff members on the 2nd of January was fabulous, friendly and efficient. But the prices of each meal didn't match the portion size at all. We thought it was an absolute rip off specially for the "spaghetti with crab" which was priced at £25 (normal) and £12 (regular). Two of the family members ordered one of each but we both had to order chips to fill ourselves up. The quantity was so little for the price we paid. I use to work for Harrods, Knightsbridge and paid the same price for Pasta/spaghetti with prawns and crab but the quantity served by Harrods was three times more that what we got at Coppa. There was hardly any crab in the meal. We were disappointed about the meal but the staff was very good. This is just to let the chain of Coppa restaurant to pay more attention about your portion size and price. It is not nice to feel ripped off. Hope you will do something about it. Unfortunately we forgot to take a picture of the meal.

We had a last minute New Year’s Day lunch, the restaurant was quiet but lovely and warm and welcoming. Food was great but it was the service from Ella we were most impressed with. So smiley and happy which made the experience all the better. Thank you Ella!

Very nice cafe/restaurant. Quite modern with good service. Definitely worth visiting for a night out.

On previous occasions, the food has been great but I haven’t enjoyed being seated in the greenhouse area in quieter times. On and off duty wait staff have seemed to use it as their personal hang out area whilst you’re dining and haven’t been very attentive. For NYE dinner we asked to be put in the main restaurant area to avoid this but our request wasn’t met. When I had commented as to why that requested was made, it was met with disgruntled looks. Aside from that, our NYE experience was better on the atmosphere front, but the Prosecco was warm and the food was lukewarm after having waiting “20-25 minutes” for 5 lamb dishes. No one asked how our food was at any stage. I’m reluctant to go back again now when I’ve had such a great experience at other restaurants across the road.

For some truly good cocktails this is a worthwhile visit

This year our Christmas meal was at Copa Club in Maidenhead. In advance of the evening, we all chose our food and submitted our menu choices. On paper it all sounded delicious and we were all looking forward to our annual gathering. The reality of the paper menu, never really came to fruition, as the only thing that was honest and true was the eye watering cost of the poorly executed Christmas menu. I had smoked salmon bruschetta, which historically should be toasted and crispy with a lovely seasoned topping and fresh smoked salmon. I received a bland soggy portion of wet brioche and fish that was tasteless and under seasoned. My main of sea bass was a further disappointment, raw veg, uncooked garlic and burnt overcooked fish, which was placed on top of three soggy polenta chips, which did not constitute good value for money, as again, the food was tasteless (other than the charred burnt flavour) and it was very poorly executed. I noted my colleagues also struggled with some of their options, tough fatty steak at (£10 surcharge) and hassle back potatoes that were the size of small planets and were not cooked through. All in all my disappointment in the food, and the lack of attention of the staff to ask us about how we were getting on or offering us regular drink refreshments was certainly a challenge. Whilst the decor is excellent, and the location fab - I do believe that " having all of the gear but no idea" of how to provide and excellent customer experience really does need to be addressed. My score for this Christmas meal experience is: 4/10.

The table service from Grace was outstanding and well worth the pre-added service charge, but that's where the value stopped. Having wrestled with trying to cut my "rare" steak, I was forced to abandon what can be seen in the photos below. By the time I'd finished the fight with the steak, my second potato had gone cold and was also inedible. The £40 bottle of Malbec could well do with substitution for something the fraction of the price from Tesco. Overpriced for poor food.

We booked here for our staff Christmas lunch and despite the fact the menu was pre-ordered we ended up waiting for over an hour for our mains to arrive. The food was tasteless. I was so disappointed how they managed to get fish and chips to be so bad. The chips were not fresh, the fish had no seasoning, And then the fact that we were meant to be on a Christmas lunch I would have expected a Christmas cracker or some kind of decoration on our table to suit. Overall a very negative experience that won't have me rushing back anytime soon.

We went as a group for the Christmas festival meal. I enjoyed the Seabass dish and vegetables and the dessert. My colleagues complained about the turkey, saying that it had been left in a warming oven for a while and that the turkey was tough and dry. Given the prices we paid, this is not acceptable. I read a review of this restaurant given two weeks ago regarding the service. We experienced exactly the same – each time we needed a staff member, I had to leave the table to call the person to serve us. I did this several times during the meal. The manager’s comment for the review of two weeks ago was that such inattentive service is not acceptable. Well, I’m afraid you’ve done nothing about it since then to resolve this issue!

Hi a great big shout out to all the staff at the coppa club in Maidenhead who make our visits so enjoyable. Thomas in the bar is a wizz on the cocktails and also very attentive and friendly. We had a fabulous post wedding day experience. 18 family and friends all tired and a little hungover, we had pre ordered and the food was delicious and came out all together and was hot !! It was the service though that gives this a 5 star review - our server Ella was amazing !! Honestly give this girl a raise .. she was smiley and friendly .. nothing was too much trouble and when we couldn’t remember what we had ordered she came to the rescue with her list of names !! We honestly were all so impressed - she really is a credit to your brand. I spoke to your manager about Ella who was also lovely and friendly and proud of his staff. What a perfect way for us to end a great weekend - Thankyou so so much.

Place is lovely however the food and service let it down. Food is expensive for the potion sizes served, food comes out on cold plates, service is poor we had to keep asking each time we needed something. Requested an alternative to the ingredients which wasn’t followed though therefore had to ask for a replacement. Restrictive if you have allergies as not many alternatives. Won’t be back in a hurry.

Ella served me and my sister today for brunch, she was lovely and the service was great, I had the eggs Benedict and it was so good!! Will definitely come back again!

The place to go when in Maidenhead. Food is not only delicious, but also well balanced and feels surprisingly light. The good atmosphere and service makes the whole experience even more enjoyable.

The young team was disjointed and service didn't work For a company of this size I was not asked about allergies I had to order at the bar which was a hassle But no one asked me how my meal was The manager needs some training in customer service I walked out to lounges across the road for my dessert and another glass of wine As no one seemed interested in my custom Hope you get your act together before the festive season.

Went for breakfast in a Sunday. The vegetarian club breakfast is what we had and it was just right both in terms of quantity and quality. Nice atmosphere too. Service quite friendly.

It is such a lovely place and the service was great however, the food was poor. I ordered the chicken with garlic and herb oil and the chicken was so over cooked and dry I had to drench it in sauce until after a few bites I refused to eat it. Not worth the money we paid. Didn't seem to show much remorse when I complained about the food especially when we paid a fair bit on our meal and drinks and the visit was for my birthday meal which I was really looking forward to. I wouldn't recommend ordering this dish if you visit.

We often come here for a drink, however our most recent visit left us not impressed. We ordered some of the zucchini frites to accompany our drinks, when they came they were coated in salt! Far too much for our children to enjoy them and even we found them too salty. I also ordered some bread and asked for some oil and vinegar for dipping. They came out with malt vinegar! It did make us laugh!

It's an option if you're very hungry, especially on Sunday when everything is closed in the morning

Horrible service. When nobody came to serve went to the bar to order a latte. After 20 mins still not arrived while serving others who came after me. Waited another 10 mins and went to remind them. Surprised as not busy at all. A bit dissapointed!

An exceptional menu, every dish looked interesting. I had the Plancha Grilled Chicken with garlic and herb oil, seasonal slaw, fries and roast garlic aioli. Absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it. Also they have an outdoor dining space by the canal where you can also have drinks. One of the most buzzing places in town.

I went for Breakfast having eaten at Coppa Club Putney some weeks before. I had eaten pancakes in Putney which were so bad that I asked them to bring me something else to take the taste away. I hadn't wanted to complain or make a fuss. So I ended up telling this lovely person at Maidenhead. about my Putney experience .and she brought me free pancakes from the chef to see if I liked them. Well they were unbelievably good. Thanks to her and the chef ( sorry I don't know their names) ..because of them I will be returning. It was a fantastic breakfast with exceptional service.

I visited Coppa on Sunday night and was extremely disappointed with the service. Despite it being relatively quiet, I waited over 20 minutes before I had to flag down a server who was attending to another table just to take my order. When our wine finally arrived, the server simply dropped the bottle on the table without offering to open it or pour it—completely unacceptable for a place that charges premium prices. For a bar that positions itself as upscale, the service was far from it. Safe to say, I won’t be returning.

Absolutely wonderful place. Lovely atmosphere and some of the nicest folks taking care of their guests. Ella and Grace were delightful and I’m very much looking forward to seeing them and their colleagues next time.

Overpriced. Some food was nice, other dishes were bland and cold on arrival. When we complained, staff didn't care and charged us anyway. Sewage smell in the restaurant. Wouldn't return! Adding to review that I contacted the email address provided with further details, as requested by the management. I then never heard another word from Coppa Club.

Returned after some time but really disappointed with the food. Starters were OK and so was the children’s menu but our mains were not great. My tuna main was cold and not even served on a hot plate. King prawn linguine was clearly microwaved and the prawns were small and mushy. Not pleasant at all as they should be freshly cooked. Unlikely to return as there are so many better restaurants in Maidenhead.

Might as well have been sat in a day care. Way too many noisy young kids. In the end, my colleague and I went and stood outside in the street to finish our meeting.

Ordered the Calamari and Flash Steak med rare with chimichurri. Calamari was delicious, not rubbery and the garlic aioli was great. Unfortunately the steak came well done, I enquired and the staff apologised and said 'we get that alot, I don't know why we offer how its cooked because its always that way'. The steak was also bland and the chimichurri unfortunately didn't alleviate that either. We had both ordered the same and just sucked it up. Sat there with the bill and pure regret.

Had the full English breakfast here. It was pretty decent, nothing too remarkable taste wise. The blood sausage was fried but didn’t taste of anything noticeable. The beans were bit more on the sweeter side. The sausage and bacon was decent as well. Also got an old fashioned drink which was pretty strong. The atmosphere of the place was beautiful, they had outdoor seating and was perfect during the sunny afternoon. The service was fine as well. The prices are reasonable for a place like this. Overall it’s a good option if you’re in Maidenhead.
