Never been before needed a place to meet up with our family and were not disappointed with the whole package . The menu had a good choice for family's clean toilets and had a good feel about the place . Very friendly staff .

Toilets are filthy, Bar staff are miserable, Food was good but not on Thursday when Mike the chef isn't in, Kids running around the garden so no chance of having a nice quiet drink in the sun, Tables are sticky and dirty,and no one seems to empty the ashtrays at all outside. Could be a nice local pub if it was run properly and the bar staff actually worked!!.

Superb burger, tall, regular height people be prepared to duck a lot.

Pub grub great value, ideal to stop off and beat then rush hour traffic and LEGOLAND exodus. Decent pint, nice people and quick service. £50 for 5 of us, just burgers and chips. Fed and watered before heading off home

Like others we stopped in after Legoland. Classic British Pub.. good choice of ales but sadly only Strongbow on Draught. Bottled ciders available though. Kids meals good value and size. I had scampi & chips. Can’t go wrong. Others had burgers & chips. These portions seemed very small for adult sizes. And were left hungry. Good prices and hot food. Would recommend stopping in on the way back from Legoland to avoid rush hour traffic and grabbing a hot meal. Staff helpful and friendly, grab your own cutlery and sauces type pub. Locals friendly and chatty too!

If you enjoy paying £17 for (likely) microwaved ribs and wings. And sour guinness. .this is your spot. It's a pub that's great for the football, terrible if you're hungry. If you're not a local, good luck.

It was nice to have a beer and grab a bite. However the menu wasn't impressive. No many options to go for. The service was fast and the food was ok. Not but but can be better.

Went with work colleagues and wasn't disappointed. The lasagne was very tasty and came with a huge fresh salad and lovely garlic bread. The chicken however didn't look very appetizing. Good prices, nice beer selection, customers are all locals who seemed to know each other. Friendly staff. Definitely worth a second visit!

Dreadful, unfriendly staff if you aren't a regular. Feel like you are a burden asking for a drink. Strange layout and generally an unwelcoming atmosphere. Certainly won't be returning.

Only popped in with my work friends as our air bnb was close by, Was busy but we stuck to the bar and only nipped out to the heated smoking area for a cigarette. 👍

Love this place love the old world feeling ie, low ceilings etc . Love the way staff and other customers are always willing to help my disabled friend . Rather noisy today heard all about a guys holiday and how he cooks his toast but then it did give us a laugh and topic of conversation . 😆

Second time we've eaten here on a Windsor visit. Friendly staff and good fayre both times. A proper English pub experience.

Good old fashioned type pub with decent prices. Although the place is lacking in kerb appeal mainly due the car park looking run down and lack of greenery aside from some overgrown trees in the car park which look out of place for some reason, this is deceptive and the interior makes up for it, and this is a good place for a pint or 2 which is what pubs shoud be all about

Called in for dinner, it is a typical pub with food, nothing fancy, good old pub grub. Food and service was good. Recommend if you are looking for some good basic hot food at a reasonable price.

Lovely meal tonight couldn't fault anything from the drinks main meals and desserts would recommend to anyone. The service was great and we were made very welcome.

Had a lovely meal here. Childs meal came at a good eating temperature and good value for money. Lovely atmosphere with the locals. We came as a family with 2 toddlers for a meal on our trip to Legoland. Highly recommend.

We came here for an evening meal while visiting Legoland. You can't pre-book and it is quite small inside. They do have tables outside with an overhead heater but we managed to find a spot. Staff seemed friendly. The food was hot, great tasting and much better than we expected as the atmosphere was more of a drinkers pub (but it was a Friday night). I definitely recommend the steak and ale pie (£9.95). Fish and chips on Friday came with a drink all for £10. So prices were good value for money we felt.

Is what it is a pub throughly British didn't try the food but the atmosphere was great and the bar staff friendly and chatty.

Had 3 craft beers here: 1 Rudolf, 1 Guinness and 1 whose name I can't remember 😁 but it is a great homey pub. When I'm back in Windsor, will definitely go there again 🤗👌🏼

We had to pop on to write a review, whilst staying at LEGOLAND we decided we want more then the hotel burger, and saw this pub on the way in. The outside looked welcoming and local, and was exactly that. It is small and they don't take bookings but when we arrived the friendly locals moved tables so we could sit down for food, it was warm and welcoming as was its food! 2 adults and 2 children enjoyed our meals and the pudding were amazing! Price was also on point (especially in comparison to legland!) So if your looking for good honest traditional meals pop in, we did!! (PS you can also charge your EV in the Tesco across the road, added bonus! - Obviously if one of you are on soft drinks - or try the alcohol free Old Moat they had that too!)

Visited legoland and fancied a pint and some food afterwards, this pub is ideal only 10-20 mins from legoland depending on traffic, on arrival we noticed a great atmosphere in the pub, found a table, and ordered, the food came in a reasonable time, and the prices are very competitive priced, the food was hot and tasty, clean plates all round, would recommend this place, great local pub with great atmosphere.

Old school pub charm We were filming locally and made us feel at home and great food for lunch. Was very very busy so must be popular local boozer well done in this time of uncertainty

This pub is a pretty traditional pub. Nothing special, but the beer was good. The staff were friendly and they are dog friendly, which is a plus. Not a huge selection, but what is there was fine. The onion rings were tasty.

This pub seems incapable of keeping even a half decent pint which does not taste putrid and is as cloudy as pea soup. Such a shame as this part of Windsor needs a good pub, this is not it. Someone needs to manage the cellar who knows what they are doing.

Pub is quite nice but multiple TVs on (without sound) are annoyingly distracting. Was showing a football game when we were there but nobody inside the pub appeared to be watching it.

Didn't enjoy the visit, the pub is a strange old layout and doesn't feel inviting. Staff we spoke to were nice however.

I've eaten here on numerous occasions. Trying something different everytime. Each time it was fantastic. Service brilliant with hospitality to match. The assistant manager is a credit to the establishment as is the chef. If you want great food and and drink in a real pub then this is the place. A great old English pub.

Great place. We didn't book, just turned up after a day at legoland and was seated in a large heated outdoor area which was perfect as there were 8 in our party. Food was lovely and extremely good value for money. Very friendly staff and quick service, would definitely recommend 👌

It was a wednesday lunch time, and fairly quiet. A good selection of food, from sandwiches to burgers, steaks pies fish and chips. The food was well cooked and very tasty, I would definitely go again, and recommend.

Called in for lunch with a friend who lives near the pub because her kitchen was being refurbed. First impressions were that it was noisy with big TVs showing football and lots of children. But staff were friendly, service was good and the food was tasty (jacket potatoes) so it was just what was needed.

First time visit here and what a surprise!!! Although the Fish & Chips were not available (on a Friday!!!!!) the choice of other food were excellent. Portions were plenty and service was efficient and friendly. A pub worth going back to.

Been in this pub a fair amount of times over the few years I've lived in the area, never have a issue when I'm present how ever tired that when it's just my wife there she has nothing but clashes with the staff alot of the time regarding my daughter. More friendly about dogs being present than kids. Fine if you want a old man's pub but will never move on from that. Even as it got newly refurbished all the older punters just complained about younger customers being present.

We come once a month to catch up with friends. The pub has undergone change and refurbishment a while ago. That's all very well but if you don't keep it clean it won't t last. The staff are hit miss, sometimes very attentive and promt and sometimes it feels that the ladies think they do you a favour giving you a drink. The food is ok (nothing to write home about) but what buggs me everytime is the nasty metal trays. Like prisoners. Well even my cats eat from ceramic so please next month can I have my burger on a plate please (I haven't broken any in month).

this is a nice little pub, but be warned its very small and so gets very packed. Staff are really nice and friendly
