Creams Cafe Windsor in Windsor and Maidenhead

Ordered a thick milkshake which is already quite expensive but I’ve had experience in other shops that served really nice milkshakes. What I got was a watered down shake that tasted more like flavoured milk. For the price they charge they really should serve you what you ordered, a THICK milkshake. Not happy at all and I’m not sure if it’s how my milkshake turned out or how it normally is but I would not recommend if your looking for a shake to shake up your day.

Very rude staff. I went there with 7 friends to enjoy some delicious desserts. I ordered Brownie with Ice cream and a few other things. Unfortunately, I had a deeply disappointing experience here. Our server, Jamie, seemed disorganized and his actions unprofessional. I ordered a brownie with ice cream, but after a 30-minute wait, he first brought the brownie alone, then the ice cream much later. By the time it arrived, the brownie was cold. When I raised this issue, Jamie rudely removed the ice cream and threw it away. We had already paid in full. I also found his interactions with other asian customers worrisome. He told very rudely to someone to get out from their shop. It was rather abusive and he was discriminating based on the colour of our skin. This kind of service and a potentially hostile atmosphere makes me reluctant to ever return. Avoid avoid at any cost.

Visited this place around 9:30 Saturday evening, placed order and the waiter while placing order asked us to sit at the table and wait for the order - which meant- we can eat in, order came in a take away pack, when asked for clarification the waiter started an argument that he was 100% clear that he told me & my daughter that it is was a take away when we paid, which is not true. After a while, he asked me to leave the shop and wait outside to collect an ice cram which my friend ordered as he is not happy with my attitude. Very rude behaviour by the staff member who served, he could have simply stated there was a misunderstanding and politely ask us to either eat in or offer some clarification. There is no need to ask me to leave the shop.

Just been to it, we were asked to take a seat. And when it was ready, the staff said its takeaway only. We asked but you never mentioned it, the staff just got very rude and asked us to leave & he forgot one of our orders too. Rude staff, don’t recommend.

Was a nice after dinner treat Decent selection of ice cream and sorbet along with other sweet treats.

Unfortunately, although the waffle ordered was sufficient, the time taken to make 2 hot chocolates was pathetic. How does a waffle come out before a few drinks? When asking about this, I was given rude service.

Decent creams spot, staff were lovely except one lady. I’m not sure if she’s a manager or regular staff but she was so rude and aggressive towards staff for no reason and it’s insane to do that but especially in front of customers! She needs to get a grip of herself asap (Blonde and Middle aged with glasses :/) Would return if she wasn’t working, her energy is pure nasty.

Love the crepes they do here even if the place and staff are horrible, Cant complain recomend just going in and leaving as soon as you got it

Die 3 Sterne gibt es nur(!) für das Essen. Der Service war leider nicht gut. Wir wurden nicht begrüßt, als wir reingingen. Es wurde eigentlich gar nichts kommuniziert. Wir haben uns dann einfach an einen Tisch gesetzt und die ausliegende Karte durchstöbert. Nachdem niemand kam, bin ich dann zur Theke, wo man eh bestellen musste. Wir haben 2 Cappuccino und 2 Waffeln bestellt. Es waren 3 Leute hinter der Theke und wir die einzigen Gäste. Trotzdem mussten wir fast 15 Minuten warten, bis wir die Cappuccino bekamen. Die Waffeln haben dann nochmal ein paar Minuten länger gedauert. Die Waffeln waren dann aber superlecker. Das Eis, welches als Topping dabei war ebenfalls. Preislich war es auch in Ordnung. Was nicht in Ordnung war, war die Toilette. Roch ziemlich und war dreckig. Da ist also noch Luft nach oben.

I have been to this shop no less than twenty times, and the waffles they make are just perfectly cooked and taste fantastic. However, there has always been an issue with water stains on the utensils, and the latest visit was even worse, as they were covered in dried chocolate. I understand that syrup sticking to the utensils can be challenging to clean, but have they considered any solutions? For example, soaking them in hot water? Nevertheless, no matter what, I will come again next time because the taste is excellent.

Three orders in our party, and they all arrived at our table individually, well after the previous person had finished their's. They forgot about the third one, and I had to chase it twice before we got it, three quarters of an hour after ordering it with barely an apology. Some effort at engaging in customer service might have been appreciated. When I paid, instead of being offered a receipt or a thank you, all I got was "Errr, that's it." The toilets stunk of dirty nappies which was stinking out the cafe. The puddings were pretty good, but not worth the frustration.

Staff helpful and polite. Biscoff ice cream the best I've tried and one scoop is huge! Big mugs of tea and beautifully presented raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake to die for. Thank you, we visited 3 times in 2 days

We had an hour to kill in Windsor and needed refreshment so popped into Creams. Or that was the plan. Our single serving of ice cream came reasonably promptly. The ice coffee came 10 minutes later. 20 minutes went by and we were still waiting for the dessert we ordered. I counted at least 7 members of staff behind the counter all standing around doing nothing except chatting. Another 5 minutes and we decided to chase up the chatty staff. They had no record of our order - unsurprising as the gormless staff didn't even seem aware of what day it was, and didn't give us a receipt. They said they would make our dessert fresh and send it over (by this time both ice cream and coffee were long gone). Another 5-10 minutes waiting and we were about to ask for a refund and leave when they finally brought it over. Didn't really have time to enjoy it as we were now late for our appointment, so had to eat it in a hurry. What a waste! I've never seen so many staff doing absolutely nothing while customers are waiting. Ridiculous! And the whole time we were sat next to the most revolting smelling toilets, which smelt like a really bad nappy. Terrible experience, terrible staff, terrible smell from the toilets. Won't return.

Waited for a couple of minutes to be served by a waiter standing in front of me with her whole cream having a group meet up.

Actually a really nice place to just catch your breath. The gelato is affordable and hits the spot in a sunny day. The atmosphere is just slightly cold.

Awful. Waited to be seated for about five minutes whilst five staff took the order from the person in front of us. I asked if we just sit anywhere then? Met with a nod. Asked if there were menus? They were pointed at. I said “we’ll if you can’t be bothered then neither can I” and we left. Terribly run franchise, avoid. Rude and inattentive, clearly rely on tourist trade and the one time visit crowd. Even one-visit customers deserve manners and some form of service.

The staff were helpful and friendly to talk to. The food was so delicious. Would come back again and would recommend it to family and friends.

Terrible service. 10 people was behind the tills and bar and nobody knows what he is doing. We was waiting more than 30 min for our order and when I went to ask they said that they forgot about our order . Truly unprofessional. Creams is one of my family favourite ice cream and waffle shops but definitely not that in Windsor.Not recommend at all. Don’t waste your time .

Delicious and with a great service

Hi i just want to let everyone know i went to this place and the staff is amazing but when i got my food i found a hair in my icecream i spoke to the manager and she started to be extremely rude saying that I should go somewhere else if their icecream isn’t good enough i was shocked to my core because I wasn’t rude about it in any way honestly don’t recommend this place

This is local to us - so we use what I would say semi regularly. They have a great selection of ice cream - and the product they serve is actually quite good. It’s such a shame the place is a shambles - orders often wrong or go missing. Nobody working there seems older than 18 and they all stand around talking. The owner really needs to add some direction. Toilers always without fail are filthy as well.

I have never left a bad review for anything but this was beyond horrendous. Ordered on Deliveroo and an hour later was called to say they didn’t have what I had ordered. No apology, just very rude and blunt with no offer of a solution. when I asked for something else it was hard to even request it as the staff were just laughing down the phone, saying ‘she wants this’ and then giggling and eventually said ‘we will write that down’. An hour and 20 past and still saying ‘being prepared’ so I called again and got lied to saying that they were waiting for a driver. The driver was there the whole time and I could see this on the app. The order finally arrived very very late and it was wrong! Not the toppings we asked for, the crepe was almost raw and it was completely cold. Awful service.

I have visited this branch of creams on several occasions over the past months and i would like to say that the customer service in this restaurant is atrocious, when you enter the place, no one is at the door to greet you to your table, you have to find your own way to your table when you are supposed to be seated at a table by a staff member at the door, further the workers there look like they have no interest in being there and they do not bother to check up on the customers at all during any point of their stay. When the staff member brings you your food, they have a tendency to slam down your plate and say nothing and just walk off. it is just a horrible atmosphere going into this branch of creams and the workers clearly do not care for their customers and it is obvious to tell that their is a lack of management going on to pick up on the slack of the workers not doing their job properly. I would not recommend coming here at all as it just brings down the mood due to the horrible lack of customer service. not to mention with the prices you have to pay, decent customer services should be expected at the least.

When you look around there was used dishes on other tables mess under all tables there was people walking in they had to move dishes to end of table there was enough staff behind bar instead of one of them going around cleaning they having mothers meeting also when they were dropping stuff on the floor they weren’t washing there hands before making food. Manager needs to get his/her finger out and sort staff out

Waiting for our order, somehow a cat enters the premises and instead of shooing it out, around 2/3 staff members stop what they are doing to take pictures of it! Unhygienic as cats could bring in all sorts, no attempt to let it out ever when we mentioned it to the staff and distracting for us as one of us was allergic to cats. Ruined our desert experience.

One star is too good. Would’ve given 0 if there was an option. I have visited twice now on a Saturday! No crepes and no waffles every time. You would have thought that they would order enough especially for the weekend as this is very disappointing. I ordered a Rudolph hotchocolate, carrot cake with a side of vanilla ice cream & berry slice. The berry slice was a lot smaller than last time and the wafer was missing. Then a waiter come to the table and gave us two cups of some Christmas sundae. I told her we’d only ordered one and she said we could have them on the house. I then realised we had been given the wrong item so I told her. My partner at this rate had already started eating one of them. She took these to the counter where her colleague told her she went to the wrong table so she took them to the correct table even though it had already been eaten by someone else. I felt sick to my stomach seeing this. It’s food contamination and you would have thought that they would redo this as this is the right thing & hygienist thing to do after people are paying for a service. My carrot cake took forever to arrive and when it did it was smothered in white chocolate which was disappointing as no one asked if I wanted sauce on top so I didn’t end up eating this as this made the cake soggy. The Rudolph hot chocolate finally arrived and it was basically watered down with cream and chocolate sauce on top. Basically a very disappointing situation and will not be returning again. Also I would recommend as someone who has worked in hospitality for over ten years that you may want to re-train your staff members as clearly it needed. This used to be one of my favourite places to come to and it’s a shame it’s gone down hill!

Staff were like headless chickens..after waiting 40 mins for 2 hot chocolates and 1 ice-cream cup..we went to find out we're our order was,to be told they didn't have our receipt.

My partner came in to order, stood by the counter for 15 minutes and no one bothered to serve him despite all the staff looking over at him and it not being busy..

This was our first ever trip to Creams and we were impressed. There was so much to choose from on the menu, I think it took us longer to make a decision on what we wanted than it did for us to actually eat it! We will definitely be returning to a branch that’s for sure.

Lovely. Kids just loved it. We ordered two types of gelato. Strawberry and Oreo ones and both are amazing. We also ordered the Waffles with Amalfi Lemon gelato with coconut shavings. This is our first time ordering this and should say we were blown away with the quality and taste. Just delicious!!

QR code, groan ☹️, dirty table that was never cleared, 🤬 had to ask for a menu. The only person remotely interested in welcoming me was the girl taking my money, and I would hardly call it welcoming. Waffle and ice cream was longer arriving at the table than it should have been. Tasted good which is why I have reviewed a 3 star, -2 for the service. 🙈 Maybe it was Sunday service?

Absolutely awful service. 6 staff wondering around doing nothing. Took 20mins from payment to takeaway 5 ice creams. Every order wrong. We asked for tubs we got cones. Wrong flavours too. My son had finished his ice cream the time we received the last ice...

One word - delicious!! We ordered couple of signature dishes, and they were superb, very nicely prepared, fresh cut fruits, enough chocolate and meal-size. One dish fills one tummy if you aren't very hungry :-) Though we had to wait a little longer this time, and they upfront told when they brought it on the table - appreciated. Only improvement - they don't clean the tables with wipes when a customer leaves, instead just remove plates - bit less hygienic, thus going for 4 stars. But food-wise: very nice, as always.

We visited Creams last night as a special Friday treat for the children. Unfortunately it was a big mistake and we should have gone elsewhere. They literally got every bit of order wrong. They delivered the wrong ice cream, forgot about part of our order,...

Awful customer service, got there at 9:55pm in the evening for some desert, the manager said its take away only. There were people sitting on tables having their deserts but we weren't given a table. I asked the manager that the closing time is 11pm why can we not dine in the response was I don't want to get home at 2am. This was the service by the manager Sayed. While we were there 2 cancelled 2 uber eats order because the reason was we are too busy. Just didn't want to do the job. Awful service won't be returning.

I rarely post these but...Toilet area was filthy, front counters messy, milkshakes like water. From first order arriving, another 25 minutes for all orders to come out, one at a time. Almost an hour from ordering for the complete order to arrive. Straws were open and hand delivered.. REALLY!!

It’s was awful, I cannot believe it! There were teenagers running in and out of the shop and the last 3 meals took about 1:30 minutes to get there and by then the table behind us had got their food and they came after us!...

If you love waiting this is the place for you! Me and my partner decided to have something sweet in one wonderful and sunny day. And we came across Creams, which looked delicious! After 10min of wait to be seated, we choose to have take away ( I mean there were only 3 tables with people and everything else was empty so 10 min to wait someone to just show you a table in my opinion is little slow even to my standards). So, we went to the counter and ordered our hot chocolates, payed and as normal people went to one side to wait for the order to be prepared. After around 10min a staff asked for what we are waiting for (that was WoW, what do you think I am doing, enjoying the interior??), then a few minutes later another staff member asked us and we even showed them the receipt ( at that point I was not sure we are going to be given anything at all). And after some more waiting we have finally received our two hot chocolates, which mind me, were delicious!!! Overall, the items are perrrrfect and what you expect, but unfortunately the disorganization is the cherry on the top.

Service absolutely awful , over 25 mins to order then as a family all wanted to eat together , got ice creams and then over half hour wait for our waffles & crepes which I actually think they'd forgotten until we asked. Toilets filty , and was over 7 members of staff standing around , 1 till open never go there again 🙄

Popped in for some dessert before a concert. Confusing ordering system as signs say 'stay seated' but they expect you to go to the counter to order so it took a long time to orde. They ran out of maple syrup so replaced with the...

Wow! I had the loveliest experience here yesterday. Brilliant restaurant with a wide selection of delicious treats such as crepes, waffles, milkshakes, sundaes etc. The staff are all very young but they could not have been any more pleasant! My friend and I popped in for dessert and we were served by a very sweet young lady with red hair. She asked if we had any allergies and helped us to make a decision based on what flavours we like as we were unsure. I could not recommend this place enough! The food was fast and incredibly tasty, the restaurant is super clean and well kept 👍Will 100% visit again.

Came to Winsor for a chill night out and stopped by at Creams just to grab a relaxing dessert. After spending minutes at the entrance counter for someone to look after us (just because was asked to do so), we decided to help ourselves. Took a couple of menus and headed for an empty boot. Ordered our desserts on their Web page and literally took them 30 minutes to have both our others processed. The place wasn't even that busy to begin with. The crepe I ordered, a red velvet chocolate cake crepe wrap drawn in white chocolate and strawberry slices, was nothing exceptional. At least the place was quite enough to have a some conversation.

I'm really not too sure to begin this, so allow me to set the scene.... My partner and I were craving something sweet and a bit naughty, saw a few images outside the Creams Cafe here in Windsor and thought that looks spectacular, let's give that a go, so in we walk... all good so far.... sadly this was as good as it got. Waiting to be seated we see only one table in use, fantastic, we should be added inches to our waists in no time at all... I must also note 4 tables still hadn't been cleared, the member of staff, cheerful chap, okay a chap mumbled a table number, I think he said one and then vanished. Finally some menus appeared, the cheerful chap still just a chap left us to it. After a few minutes we'd decided on what to eat and went up to order for a equally cheerful lady to say sit down we will come to you... a good ten minutes later she was good to her word and did finally appear. And now we wait And wait And wait I do love waiting... After about 40 minutes we went up and asked what was going on, three more families had walked in and had ordered and been served in this time, yet still nothing to us, a glass of water, a milkshake, a waffle and a crepe for those interested. We were then told there was a 30 minute wait, erm don't think so buddy, other had been in and served, we then asked for a refund, and finally got it. Can I recommend this place, absolutely not, shocking customer service, staff looked miserable, and the tables were dirty. I'd love to give this no stars, but well done Creams in Windsor you saved me adding some inches to my waist. But seriously management need to be looking into this place, also zero mention from staff asking if we had any allergies, and addressing the issues. I'm sure Lizzy wouldn't be impressed Will not be returning

Saw the picture of the stuffed waffle oozing with cookie dough and had to order it. When I received it and cut through it, neither me nor my family could see any cookie dough. Upon enquiry, a staff member said "sometimes you just can't see it". I understand that food doesn't usually look like the advertisement but come on, it was as if they spat a few cookie crumbs into the waffle and called it a day.

Looked as if the driver had stamped on it. I opened the box and it looked absolutely disgusting. Would not surprise me if he had spat on it as well. I didn’t take any chances and threw it in the bin. Pretty standard ‘Creams’ experience: average gelato, with made-up names; overpriced, and full of errant kids… and that’s the staff(!), but at least they try!

Worst place I have ever been to. Waiting at the door 5mins to be seated. Had to ask someone to clean our table before seating. They should realized that. We sit down, not much signal on phone, so ask for a menu. We got it, one of the menu was smelly and looked like someone vomit on it. Disgusting!! So after went to the till to let them know we are ready to order, they said someone will come to take the order. Were sitting there 10mims, no one came... So we left straightaway. Never ever going back and not recommend that place. It was a surprise for me in that place.

We plan to try out this place but unfortunately it was the worst idea ever. No welcoming at the door, waited about 5mins no one came to say anything. So I went up to the counter and ask if there is a self service or someone will seat us. They said someone will come we still waited a few more minutes before that happened. Lady tried to be nice and let us choose a table when another guest came and said it is 8 of them waiting a table a long time ago so I gave my table away. Waitress took us to another table and let us seat there. We checked through with QR code place has no WiFi so we couldn't see what's on menu. My other half ask them if we could get a paper menu to choose from, they said yes. We received 3 menus they were dirty NOT BEEN CLEANED and it stinked( on pictures). But our little girl still wanted some dessert so we picked 3 items. Waited and again waited some one will come and take our order but no one came. We went to the counter and ask them if we could order there, answer was no, some one will come in a minute to take our order. We waited another 10mins also and no one came😣😞 We get up and left the place. Couldn't even get to a dessert how it taste, but I am not even sure about that. CREAMS employees were kids I mean very young people I am not so sure they know what day are doing!!!

Worst creams we've ever been in, I waited for an extra 10 mins for a hot chocolate after my friends got their orders. The internet signal and WiFi was terrible.

I’ve recently been back to Creams after a disappointing experience a couple of months ago. I now have to change my review to a higher rating because the service was spot on this time - really friendly staff and efficient service. They now seem to not be prioritising take out orders or at least they’re no longer making it obvious. Good experience overall and yummy waffles.

We had to queue for around 40 mins to get in when they obviously had multiple tables free and were not serving enough people, then once let in we ordered our food one item of which we had to wait 30 mins for even tho...

Visited today, the service and food was amazing. My little one has a severe dairy allergy, the staff were knowledgeable and the owner came over and checked everything with us going above and beyond to make sure she had a safe and enjoyable experience.

What can I say?? This place is amazing! Read some of the negatives and compared to our visit they must be of a different place..... Once shown to our table we were asked about allergies to which we said both our boys are allergic to nuts. We were then helped by the owner who overheard us asking. She had only popped in as it was her birthday! Comprehensive advice and very helpful and friendly. She put one person in charge of our order (very helpful polite young man) who double checked all the allergy info and delivered our order and made a special trip to get a wafer as they had run out on the counter. He even brought us the remainder of the milkshake from our little ones so it didn't go to waste!! Staff are a credit to the owner. Try Creams, you wont be disappointed!!!!

Gorgeous desserts. Waffles all round for us today. Place a little dull and lacking atmosphere and really don't think registering and paying on an app is ideal....cash/card options would be good too. Expensive but for a one off treat it was worth it... enjoy 😋
