A bit noisy, but lovely setting and lovely food.

Enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea. Lovely staff as well. Bit dissapointed when we saw a service charge (£9,99) added to the bill, which we hadn’t been informed about beforehand. Otherwise great visit to The Ivy, will visit again when in the neighbourhood.

Visited here a few times, the staff are absolutely brilliant, the food and service is first class, definitely the best chain restaurant around.

Great brunch on the August Bank hols. Full English, great black pudding. A sneaky mimosa on the side. The eggs benedict with ham hock was also delicious.

Faultless food and service; despite busy night (with great atmosphere) the team delivered the best; all six of us only had good things to say about the amazing staff and simply superb food; well done The Ivy!

Lenny and Martha were amazing!! Lenny served us and really had such an upbeat caring energy to her! Martha helped deal with the chicken milinaise (chicken being pink) explaining why it is pink and that the chicken is temp checked. Also related to her as a fellow emetaphobia girlie and gave amazing suggestions that would help my anxiety when eating out. Couldnt have asked for a better experience and the food was lovely.

Love this place. Been so many times and always consistent. Food and menu is great, atmosphere is perfect, staff and really polite and accommodating. I wish all restaurants had this standard of service. Will definitely be back.

Nice place that feels like michelin place without the price 2 course for $20 pounds is quite worth it The tomato soup is abit too sour for our liking The roasted lamp rumb was not bad but it’s very tough to chew. The berry and hazelnut sundae is a must order. Very rich in flavor and very nice.

We have now visited two of the Ivy chain restaurants. Non of them disappointed. The staff, good, decor, service, food were all A1. I highly recommend. We went to the Windsor one last night with 10 other people to Celebrate his birthday. Great welcoming team, attention to deal, no mistakes, awesome.

Nice Ivy in Windsor. Food was delicious and came out quickly. Definitely get the truffle arancini. For birthdays they also give a free small desert, which is very nice. Clean washrooms!

Well done The Ivy at Windsor - food good, service superb. Lenny was just brilliant, nothing a problem, always making sure we had drinks etc, clearing courses beautifully in a way hardly anyone does these days - a credit to the restaurant, really,really good - she made the night special. Reccomended for a good meal in Windsor.

Very nice restaurant. The only thing is steak and portions could have been a little bigger. Very tasty but smaler than I used to it.. The desert was great (in the photo)!

Honestly could not say enough about how amazing our dinner was from start to finish. The food was delicious, the service was amazing and the table was perfect. Thank you for helping make our Wedding Anniversary so special :-)

A horrible experience. Not recomended, I would never enter again. The espresso cost 2 and a half pounds, it was a diminute cup and it was not even full. I asked for them to fill it more and they rejected it. They said filling totally the whole cup (which I emphasize, it was the smaller cup I’ve seen in my life) costed one pound more. In conclusion not recommended for anyone, don’t enter there, it was a total scam.

Ivy is definitely one of our favorite British restaurants in UK, totally changed the way I thought about British food, in a fantastic way. The food is simply amazing, and window seats have great view of the castle.

All staff are amazing, great customer service with a smile. The beef Sunday roast was perfectly cooked with beef exactly how we like it. Huge thank you for my mum’s birthday treat at the end, it added that special touch to our visit ❤️

Awful, we were very disappointed as we were entertaining guests from overseas. Wrote to the manager in some detail expressing our views and no response.

Greeted and made me feel welcome. Our waiter was amazing, very attentive. Didn't feel like we was being rushed. Food amazing, definitely a place to visit for a special occasion. Will definitely try the lunch menu on next visit. Cocktails fab, and prices not too expensive.

Decided to stop at the Ivy for breakfast while on a visit to Windsor. Beautiful setting, service very attentive but the food was only adequate. I would not expect such an establishment to service pastries that had simply been taken out of a freezer and warmed up, very disappointing.

Stepping into The Ivy in Windsor is always a treat, especially when you're in the mood for a fantastic steak in a bustling atmosphere. Despite the crowds, the reception is always welcoming with a friendly smile. We opted to sit at the bar, and it didn’t disappoint— the bartender was the epitome of politeness and professionalism. Whether it's for the food or the service, The Ivy is a prime spot to dine in style. Highly recommend!"

Went yesterday for a post-lunch business meeting. Nice venue. Service was very poor. No side plates for the apetisers - we patiently waited only for starters to then be brought over. Took un-eaten apetisers away (?). Waiter departed half way through our meal (shift change) and had to keep waving over someone else when trying to gracefully pay our bill with customers needing to depart which was a bit embarrasing. Didnt feel like anyone was really paying attention and could see staff meandering (just make eye contact with your diners every so often). Real basic 101 errors such as overpoured the wine we ordered, so there wasnt enough to fill all glasses. Annoying as then was rail-roaded to purchase another bottle of wine, some of our table were driving, so only wanted a very small glass - and then we had unfinished wine on the table - all because the server poured massive measures. Just need a bit of education on wine etiquette basics. Maitre De on the door was gassing with his mate as we left - had to provoke a "thanks and goodbye" to disturb his conversation (not a primadona - but you'd at least expect acknowledgement of your existence after spending ~£2000 between 8 - maybe?)🤷‍♂️ As always, the bar/environment and design of the Ivy was fantasic, just let down by the lacklustre service and attention to detail.

I went with my wife and daughter while we were visiting Windsor - they wanted afternoon tea, so I tagged along. The atmosphere, service and presentation were great. I'm not a tea drinker, but they were willing to substitute hot chocolate for it, which I did. I thought it was a bit expensive for what we got , but then everything else in England was as well. As for portion sizes, I could have eaten the service for two on my own and not overeaten, but from what I understand, afternoon tea is not meant to be a meal.

Had a great time here, both food and staff were great. Can only recommend it…

Last night, we visited the Ivy Windsor to celebrate our anniversary, we had a table booked for 6.30pm but our experience left much to be desired. Despite having a reservation( booked 2 months prior ) , we felt rushed throughout our meal. Just 5 minutes after sitting down, three different staff members approached us, indicating that our table was needed for other guests at 8 PM. Another lady came again at 7.30pm whilst we were still finishing off our drinks and told us again that the table was needed. This constant pressure significantly detracted from our enjoyment of what should have been a relaxed and special evening. Such behavior was incredibly rude and disappointing. To make matters worse, there was a large party of 16 or more guests nearby, making so much noise that we couldn't even have a decent conversation. Despite the noisy environment, we were the ones constantly harassed by the staff to vacate our table. The food was not great either, the rib eye steak was very stewy . A special occasion deserves better treatment, I will never go back

Had dinner last night. To say it was out standing is an understatement. Will be back. Food, atmosphere, ambience, was memorable. The view from our table was spectacular.❤️

I had such a lovely time at The Ivy Windsor. The customer service was impeccable - I wish the staff wore name tags so I could give them a shout-out. I had fish and chips and my friend had fish cake, a poached egg and chips (we love chips) really yummy. We had mocktails, which again, were really great. We had the caramel bomb for dessert (not pictured) which I didn't love. It was very sweet and the cream was quite runny. Despite this, I would definitely go again.

Wanted to go for a cream tea but noticed on the menu they only serve fruit scones. I called up and spoke to a lovely lady on the phone who said they could order in plain scones for me, I booked over 2 weeks in advance. Went today and after we sat down I mentioned to the waiter about plain scones, he told me they have none and that I should speak to head office if I wish to complain….I explained that I phoned up in advance as this was a special occasion, again he told us there was nothing he could do. This was such a disappointment for as had been wanting to visit here for a long time. No communication to say there would be an issue with plain scones….unfortunately I won’t return as it ruined our experience.

Perfect place for a stopover after or before visiting Widshore Castle. Fantastic atmosphere and decor. Perfect sweets in appearance and taste. The employees are a bit snobbish, but that's probably part of the concept, as are the stingy prices. 4 people with 4 drinks (coffee and tea) and 4 sweets, approx £60 (April 2024)

never had a bad time at the ivy, and this was no different! the service was impeccable and the food was amazing. we went for a birthday, which the staff were so tentative about, and provided a lovely dessert with a candle! a buzzy atmosphere to end our day visiting one of the most beautiful areas in england, and the prices are extremely reasonable, considering the high quality food and service

What an experience, the food and drinks were delicious, half-cooked steak with puree and broccoli, something extraordinary. The BOMB dessert was a delight. And Thomas's attention was great. Very satisfied

Wish I'd taken photos- I keep forgetting! Booking was easy, maître d was very polite and welcoming. High chair was already set for us which made things easy, they read our booking notes. There wasn't a children's menu for breakfast, but the waiter/chef were every so kind in adapting the breakfast pancakes for our little one, it was so simple and easy, they just got it! Food was very lovely, service was brilliant, fantastic location and the decor inside the restaurant was stunning, definitely recommend.

Great place to wind down near the castle. Walking distance from the train. Sam made an excellent coffee! Highly recommended :)

Excellent service, great value and delicious food. The staff are always so friendly there and this is a go to place on Windsor for any special occasion. The £19.17 menu for 2 courses is outstanding value and the complementary dessert and candle for my dad's 95th made it all extra special. Will be visiting again soon! Everyone must try the Rum Baba in the pic!!!

Very lovely experience. They provided entertainment for my young child and were very friendly. My only gripe was they’d made a significant change to my usual order (it was on the menu but I was so used to ordering I didn’t bother read it) and in my opinion it wasn’t an improvement but a blatant attempt to cut spending as my egg was replaced with salad

Dinner at The Ivy was the icing on the cake for my husbands birthday. The lamp rump & Malaysian monkfish curry were so tasty. Our server- Elliot, was courteous, friendly & helpful. The rum baba was lovely, but needed more rum!!

Excellent service, we really enjoyed our meal with the children, fab decor, food and atmosphere.

Was welcomed with exception enthusiasm and kindness by a lovely waiter named Amelia. She tented to every minor detail of our meal and ensured we were satisfied at every point. Was grateful to have such good service by her and all of the other staff, it made the meal so much better. Lovely young lady :)

Staff are so rude in this branch. My wife walked in asked for a table said there was 4 people they had a table after my wife said we have a baby too they said they are fully booked until 9pm even though the restaurant was half empty!

Absolutely loved my meal this morning! Served by Amelia and her service was amazing from checking up on our meals, warm smiles, to recommendations on the menu! Food came incredibly fast and was very good! Will definitely be back !!!

I’m not usually an ‘Ivy’ fan - but this is by far the best one I have visited! The food was phenomenal and the service was top tier too! We really enjoyed when visiting Windsor and would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you to the team at Ivy, Windsor, for a fantastic evening meal! For reference, we visited in November 2023! Lastly, I have a Lactose Allergy and they were extremely helpful and accommodating to my allergy - so thank you again for this!

Really lovely place with great service. Took care of us and catered to some great gluten free options. They don't have a separate menu but the waiter was very knowledgeable and patient.

Loved everything about this place. From the location to the ambience, this place is awesome. The staff is very welcoming and attentive, Emmanuel at this IVY was superb. He served us with a smile all the time and manage to also take some good pictures of us. Highly recommended.

Went for Birthday Celebrations mid week, Food, atmosphere and staff were nice bit pricey but worth it as a one off. Watch out for the service charge, we were not given the option to take it off and only noticed after we paid.

Went for afternoon tea as a treat before I start my chemotherapy. The staff were so lovely and attentive, John looked after us for the most part and even gave me a little pep talk. It was so lovely as not something we would usually do but was a great little treat before my treatment. Very grateful for all of the staff :)

Had a nice brunch here before visiting Windsor Castle - they offered a breakfast special for £15.95 which included a cooked breakfast, pastries and a smoothie. Nice to have a selection - same price as a full English breakfast.

SHOCKINGLY BAD! Touch screen for your order, and not very user friendly......whist staff watch you! 2 orders where requested in a ceramic cups.....and they were served in cardboard cups! Go to the French Kiss!

I went to the ivy and my experience was just incredible! The atmosphere, the food, everything was amazing! But the star of the night was Weronika the Host she was so welcoming, caring and sweet. She was so lovely and so nice, she made sure we got the best table, made sure that we was all situated and comfortable, honestly so friendly and caring she’s just an incredible host!

Great night out. Venue was great. Food.was great. Company was great. Lacked bitter or Guinness so onto the cocktails instead!

Drinks in the bar were fab before dining.. Having dined in several ivy's across England this was the worse so far. The dining experience was very uncomfortable for us and the couple sat next to us,we were pretty much rammed in and sat on their laps. We ordered bottles of wine. The 1st glass was poured for us and the bottle removed. If I hadn't checked to see where they'd put it I'm not sure we would have been offered anymore. I went and got it myself. The food has always been nice in other ivy's but not this one. I'm not one to complain however I would not return and I won't recommend it to anyone else.. very disappointing evening.. we arrived at 7 and we were gone before 8

Terrible service. All courses brought out at once. Dropped food on floor whilst chucking the plates at us and had to ask for the food to be replaced. Food was if it had been under a heater most of the day as it was dry on top. And when I complained the GM ego took a hit and was annoyed. Avoid

Very disappointing, had the Mother’s Day menu, no point of a set price, wasn’t very clear, sides were extra, had the pudding for two with an extra £10 charge then want a £20 service charge …… don’t think so

Very helpful and friendly staff. Definitely worth booking ahead as it was full, and there was a real buzz in the restaurant. The food was excellent... I can particularly recommend the cheese soufflé starter. Fantastic! All four of us had great food. They served a,delicious little cake as it was my birthday. The table was reserved for 2 hours which went quickly but there was plenty of room in the lounge area at the back to stay a little longer.

This restaurant is amazing, im a picky person when it comes to visiting places and eating and i loved the food here, its such a magnificent restaurant with fancy food and everything about it is so beautiful, the service was amazing the guy who served us at the restaurant was a waiter named Steve and he was so friendly, helpful and ideal. I came to this restaurant with my mom and my step-dad to celebrate my mom ‘s birthday and it was amazing!!! I definitely recommend this place and i will be coming back again :) Thank you for making my mom ‘s birthday so great!

Stopped in for a late lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. It has a great ambiance and setting - very fun design and decor. Our server was really kind and helpful and our food came out quickly. We got the Shepard’s pie and it was great. I wish the portion would have been larger because it disappeared from my plate too quickly.

I am utterly disappointed and appalled by the lack of basic courtesy and assistance at The Ivy Windsor. Today, on March 1st, 2024, at 12:30 pm, I dropped off my wife outside the restaurant, only to find that despite two men standing idly by the reception, not a single soul bothered to offer help with her pram, which she was struggling to maneuver over two steps. To add insult to injury, I was forced to park my car on double yellows just to rush across and assist my wife. The utter disregard for customer service and common decency displayed by the staff at The Ivy Windsor is simply unacceptable. It is appalling that in this day and age, such basic acts of assistance are completely overlooked by the establishment. The lack of empathy and consideration shown towards customers is truly disheartening.

Great restaurant and friendly efficient staff.

We were a party of 5 booked for afternoon tea on February 24 and had friends visiting from Canada. The person who took our order did not greet us and came across rude. As was our waiter who brought us latte cups instead of tea cups for our tea as “all the teacups were being washed and so there were none.” Really? For an establishment like The Ivy it felt odd. Food was average and the waiter couldn’t even tally our bills. Disappointed.

Such a beautiful restaurant and fantastic service. I never usually write reviews but we came to spend a birthday voucher and were so excited to come, but left feeling very disappointed in the food, and that’s with having to only pay 60% of our own money towards it. So glad we didn’t have to pay the whole bill. Unfortunately the food tasted pretty basic, the burger was dry and dense, creamed spinach side was bland, blackened cod didn’t have any flavour, and arancini was dry and tasteless, we were expecting so much more. We were also put on a small table so close to others we had to move the table to be able to get out. It’s very well decorated and had such a nice atmosphere, just wished the food matched the aesthetic/service. Such a shame!

We arrived at the ivy after a morning at Windsor castle. When we approached the front of house around lunchtime. We were looked up and down by the front of house staff, when I asked for a table for two we were offered a seat at the bar with a rather dirty look. Being first time diners at the Ivy I was slightly disappointed however I had heard good things about the food. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and food.Whilst waiting for our food my wife and I were appalled at the way the staff were speaking to each other, the atmosphere was horrendous. Our starters arrived, we had squid And sourdough bread.Both were satisfactory once the starters were cleared away our mains arrived shortly after, my wife had lobster linguine. The waitress that was bringing the food from the kitchen burnt herself on the pot and then proceeded to put her hand into the clean bowl before the waitress served it. My wife was very put off by this but didn’t want to make a fuss. I ordered a burger and some Parmesan and truffle chips. Unfortunately the burger was cold in the middle.I was disappointed as we had heard good things about the Ivy. Overall less than average very disappointed with whole experience.
