Starbucks Coffee Company in Windsor and Maidenhead

After getting my coffee every morning for more than 2 months , I decided to drop this feedback due to extremely poor quality of services and coffee too. Apologies, but that's not coffee, taste as the water that comes after the coffee machine got cleaned up😔. Paying nearly £5 for nothing 😑

I use this as a local starbucks. However, constant turnover of staff lets it down for the familiarity of a decent barista.

Have my caramel latte every morning without fail. Lovely staff and quick service when it isn’t too busy x

Best coffee and toasty in Windsor with excellent service. Now has additional inside seating and clean sheltered outside seating.

I always come here to have my frappe.Today I ordered choco frappe with 3 little ones and one customer shouted at me and said to shut up my kids.Then one of the staff who's in her 40s came and said also the same thing.I felt discriminated maybe because I'm Asian. THE MANAGER who was there didn't do anything about it.I will never comeback and order again.

I hope to update with the 5 stars it has always deserved.. **Update**things have improved and it seems there has been adjustments made to bring the standards back to where they have been previously. I have been a regular at this particular Starbucks for the past three years, visiting almost daily and sometimes even twice a day. Historically, the standout aspect of this location has been its remarkable staff. They've always been both exceptionally cheerful and highly efficient, making each visit a pleasure. However, I've noticed a noticeable decline in the staff's enthusiasm and the overall speed and efficiency of service over the past few weeks. I'm not certain if this change is due to new management or other internal shifts, but the difference is palpable. I truly hope this is just a temporary hiccup and that some adjustments can be made to bring back the high standards of service that I've come to know and love at this Starbucks. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.

Frequent this Starbucks a-lot when going to work to grab my usual. Staff are always friendly, quick with order and make the perfect drink. Wish the corporate would give this one a bit of a freshen up coz their staff deserve it.

Coffee tasted burnt, not impressed at all, for what you pay per cup, the server was miserable and obviously didn't want to be there.

I love the staff! I love the coffee and atmosphere.

I normally love a good Starbucks, but I was extremely disappointed in this visit. First of all the staff were so busy chatting to each other and their friends that they completely ignored the customers. When we eventually got our coffee it was luke warm and not really drinkable. We also had 3 toasted sandwiches which were undercooked and not very appealing. I think I’ll pass on this coffee shop in future.

It was very peaceful, inviting and the coffee was very fresh and rich tasting.

Ugh - this place just needs a good clean, new tables and chairs and some motivated staff. I have a local Starbucks which is shiny, clean and has staff who smile. Worlds apart - this is my last visit to this ghastly place.

Such attentive service by the Starbucks staff never fail to make me smile. Lewis made the best coffee I could dream of. Ryan made sure everything was so quick and efficient. Bailey made sure that everything was perfect. Tom was ok.

Staff are friendly, parking can be an issue around lunchtime as it gets very busy in the high street.

Cashier was lovely but other staff didn’t so much as look in your direction; even as they yell your name!

My second go to Starbucks. Staff turnover is a problem which impacts service. But its close to work, and the coffeeI MHO is better than Fego's, Costa and Ann-Marie's

Popped in for a coffee and was met by Tom, Nicky and Lewis. Really friendly group of staff, extremely welcoming and great coffee! Will be back.

We had a light snack at the Starbuckd. Customers service was very good. The bacon roll was very tasty with a chilly sauce. The place was clean and well presented. The service was very quick.

Most expensive coffee for miles 😲 Soul Coffee Ltd charging £3.60 for a grande latte, whereas a 'real' Starbucks is £3.10 🤔 just pure greed! I'll be going to a proper Starbucks more ofter 👍

This is my local coffee shop, it is amazing. The staff are fantastic and they always serve with a smile. Great tasting coffee and clean cafe.

Nice little Starbucks. Nice location and actually very large considering how small it look from the outside.

Pleasant efficient staff. Not very chatty but was busy.

Disappointed in a big way. No soap of any kind in the washrooms and the hand blower is not fit for use. Ordered a breakfast tea, they gave me a Earl Grey without telling me.....I took it back and they said, they were out of breakfast tea, so gave me that instead...REALLY !! Obviously do not have a clue about tea. No excuse for anything, especially when the place was empty (Friday 28th Oct at about 3.30pm) and there were three staff on duty. For some stupid reason, I thought that because it was on the High Street in Ascot it would be a bit above the others...this was the worse one I have visited in all of the UK. It was also run down and needs a bit of tidying up.

I thought because this is on the High Street in Ascot, I thought it would be nice...no chance. It's run down, handblower in toilet is not fit for purpose and no hand soap in sight anywhere...makes you wonder what the staff use !! I asked for a normal breakfast tea and was given Early Grey without being told. I took it back and was told they were out of normal breakfast tea !! The staff clearly do not know that there is a huge difference between these two types of tea. Worst Starbucks I have ever visited. The bin right outside the entrance were the seating is was totally full, possibly not their responsibility to empty it, maybe the council, but still not a nice sight. Was not busy, only two customers and three staff, so a bad show all in.

Last 3 coffees from here have tasted burnt need to turn it down please

Changing this after 3 years going here. This place is now bit of a joke for a morning coffee. Not sure what's going on but they are never ever open on time, constantly changing its opening times or just flat out being closed an hour after its meant to be open citing staff shortages that have been going on for over a year. Costa up the road, which is terrible, has never had this issue. Guys please sort it out.

This cafe had the filthiest toilet I have ever used in a cafe. The disabled toilet was permanently out of order. I thought Starbucks was a reliable brand but I’m never going to use one again. Cappuccino was nothing special either and served in takeout cup even though we drank in.

Quite a nice Starbucks. Very easy to get to as well with free parking just outside.

I accept I am not a Starbucks fan, however they had the shortest queue on this Saturday with Royal Ascot on. I asked for a white coffee, no problem except they only wanted to serve in paper cups - sorry I though the clay cups normally used were more environmentally friendly. I queried it, but told only serving in paper even for drinking in store - then had the cheek to charge extra for the paper cup when I wanted a real cup. The young lad behind the till seemed confused, whilst the manager seemed completely uninterested. There is a sign in very smal print - I mean very small - saying there is a charge for paper cups unless I bring my own - what a joke, why would I know I need to bring my own cup when normally they serve in a normal cup and saucer (well ost Starbucks I have been to do!), but still want to charge me for THEIR CONVENIENCE. So let us be less environmentally friendly, whilst making an extra profit from the paper cup - it does not cost 5p per unit. Yes I am being fussy, but the attitude of the manager was very poor and reminds me not to go in to starbucks when I have a choice

Like any other Starbucks really. As they had just opened and weren't busy they did put the tables and chairs outside when I asked as I had my dog with me.

Ascot high street Starbucks, lots of 2 seater tables, good views of the high street for people watching. Best of all is the fast service

Diabolical tea, too much milk, made me sick and couldn't drink it. Then they blamed the tea bag even though I asked for just a drop of milk. Tried to put in 2nd tea bag to rectify yet wouldn't need to had she listened. Had to buy another drink elsewhere to wash mouth out. Now I'm out of pocket over £5 to feel sick. Who can't make a simple cup of strong tea for goodness sake!!!! Avoid like the plague.

Am a gold star customer, love the egg nog late, but so does a lot of other people, so it rarely lasts on the menu beyond december, sometimes it runs out in december, shame.

[06/12/21] had the worst experience today, which has left me feeling disappointed and quite upset. I went to pick up an order (£12 worth of food/drinks) which I placed the night before, using the app Too Good To Go. the app gave me a code and told me the latest time I could pick my items up was 3:30pm. I arrived at 3:26pm to be told my order had been cancelled (it showed on my phone, as I walked through the door). I pointed out there was ALOT of food and drinks on show at the time. I was told by the lad ''we dont have any off food to give you'' and told to come back the next day. 1. if there wasn't food ready, then Starbucks should of told Too Good To Go, that they will not be supplying on that day. and I wouldn't of ordered. 2. I wasn't there to collect ''off food''. 3. clearly there is a problem with the timing, Too Good To Go states 3:30pm collection time, however Starbucks aren't ready with the orders because, its not near the closing time... I told the lad that I had walked 20mins to collect the items and his reply was ''thats not my problem'' - which it isn't, however an apology would of been a nicer reply. ...or an offer a discounted drink or something. when I told the lad, that I would be contacting the manager, he came closer to the plastic shield, folded arms and said ''yeh go on then'' acting smug. - (bare in mind, I was trying my hardest to be polite to the lad) I work in a restaurant myself, I know what is good customer service and what is bad customer service. and this lad needs addressing. I brought that food with the intention of feeding my disabled, diabetic mother. I was so upset that I had wasted 40mins (walking back and forth) and she was without food. there were other customers who witnessed the way he spoke to me. another customer said she would also make a complaint. I will never step foot in that place again, not whilst workers address paying customers like that.

This starbucks in Ascot it's so unreliable it closes daily whenever it suits them so I arrived there and it's closed at 3.30pm or 4pm despite the fact that it sais should close at 5.30pm. Now they change and it's written that they close at 4pm and at 3.45 doors were already closed.

Closed early, or at least locked their doors at 5pm on a Sunday (official time seems to be 5.30) even though their tables were still outside. Saw a number of people trying to get in and moving on.

Staff are always friendly and good sense of community in there, always seeing people you know 👍

Poor quality almost cold "hot" chocolate.

When you enter the Starbucks on Ascot High Street, you feel as if you have entered an anomaly. A central trough, like the hollowed skull of a Titan, lays imposingly on the shop floor. Its immense weight depresses the earth beneath it; it has sunken considerably into the tiling. You realise after placing and customising your order that your order doesn't matter; you will receive the same beverage as every other customer. Upon payment confirmation, the malnourished, near-paralytic barista shambles, bow-legged, along the bar, and, with arms made of string and bird-bones, tries, with immense effort, to yank a pulley. This pulley sets off a crude Rube-Goldberg apparatus, the final prestige of which, is the filling of the trough with a steamy brown liquid. Customers jostle for position around the trough, snarling at each other like wolves around a carcass. Mothers disregard their infant children. I have even seen mothers trade their young offspring in order to be nearer the trough. Some cup the boiling liquid first in their hands before bringing it to their mouths, others merely submerge their heads in the bean-water and cow-lactate aggregate and inhale. Animal fury is then whipped to daemonic heights as the trough nears empty. Customers turn on each other like Cain against Abel, birthing an atmosphere not unlike that of God himself being usurped. Screams near blood-curdling as a real-estate agent loses an eye. The violence eventually subsides not long after a hairdresser unintentionally swallows her own severed index finger. Once the customers regain the modicum of humanity they once held, they exit the establishment, many with fewer appendages than when they entered. Although this experience would have traumatised each individual immensely, there will be no end to this daily ritual, as that sweet hit of delicious caffeine makes the whole undertaking pardonable in the mirror of hindsight. As the last customer leaves, the sickly barista seizes its opportunity and fights off the other small rodents in order to lick dry the trough with its sandpaper tongue. Phenomenal music choice in there though, great 80s hits!

What it is, they have the right amount of quirky, do there job well and treat everyone I see in there with respect no matter the walk of life. A good balance of staff and I feel extremely welcome when I go in there. Very personable experience for a nice average coffee if your not a snob. I have the filter on most visits, which is suffice. When I occasionally get the ‘snob on’ and someone what is proper lardy dah per-say is around I will let staff suggest a drink or if real hot. And they usually give me a nice drink while they run through the mortgage loan I need to set up to pay for it. I can’t wait to be able to go back and read a paper in the place or listen to some music.

Staff can be a bit rude and childish but the coffees good. Prefer Costa for my ascot coffee due to the welcoming social staff.

Ate in, though toasted sandwiches were served in paper bags, no knife to cut them, untoasted on the bottom. The tea was insipid, not sure what tea bags they use, but no flavour was given off.

This place is dirty and definitely needs a good scrubbing. Our table in the in the morning had to cleaned by ourselves, other tables weren't cleaned either by staff. We sat by the window where window ledge full of crumbs and hair. Setee is also full of crumbs and grease marks. Avoid unless you want to catch something.

This place hasn’t seen a cleaner for a long time. I like the coffee but shame its so dirty.

Way they serve tea just cup and teabag take to table nowhere put taebag wheen brewed have to go back put milk in. Should be served in pots with little milk jug.

Standards slip a lot when busy, second Sunday in a row where the froth on my machiato was not there.

Early opening and very clean. It is also dog friendly.

New staff here are extremely slow. It's now been 10 minutes to get my coffee and I've had to remind them once already. This is ridiculous. Its still not here.

It is very handy if you are in Ascot shopping or passing through also. Not as good as others and a bit bitter for our taste. But you know what you are getting at what price as a chain.

Popped in here because the Stag (just down the road) was closed to find that they charge 10p a cup more than the Bracknell Starbucks I have been to (and the staff didn't bat an eye when I was surprised) - 20p a cup more than the Stag charges.Of course it is small, full of screaming kids, mothers ignoring them and business people just in there for the WiFi as all Starbucks seem to be.Then of course after having a coffee you might want to use the toilet - just one for men and women or the disabled toilets.Tables get cleared occasionally otherwise people just clear stuff to other tables.The only vague positive is dogs are allowed in.

I enjoy going in to Starbucks most mornings, the staff are relaxed and I always appreciate the fact they remember my preferred drink. It's small, so if busy can be difficult to find a seat (especially when you have a particular favoured spot). Also, worth noting that they do let dogs in, for the most part this is OK, but those of you who don't enjoy dogs or the occasional bark (or waft of wet dog smell) then you might prefer Costa.

This is a typical starbucks, cookie cutter everything, though its a nice location on the high street, and you can sit outside. Service is okay, toilets are below par.

Nice, fairly refurbished Starbucks. Staff perhaps not as friendly as in Costa in Ascot but it's easier to get in and out with a pushchair (or wheelchair I guess), because there's no step up to the door. Calm atmosphere with comfy chairs and soft jazz background music during the day.

Best black coffee, not over roasted or burnt with overly hot water like some of the other coffee houses.
