We recently visited the restaurant, and while the atmosphere and service were excellent, the food was quite disappointing. The dishes arrived surprisingly fast, which made us suspect they weren’t freshly prepared. Unfortunately, our suspicions were confirmed—the food lacked depth and flavour, tasting as if it had been frozen and reheated. While everything looked great visually, the taste didn’t live up to expectations. Given the presentation, we were hoping for much more. I appreciate the effort put into the service and setting, but for the price and expectations, the food quality needs significant improvement.

I've never had an issue with Andres before but today has ruined my opinion of them. they left a panini off of the order so only one of them were delivered. I rang up expecting that they could send out the one I'd already paid for (and paid delivery on) but they said I'd have to collect. I'm not near an Andres and shouldn't be expected to go all the way there to collect something I already paid delivery on. I go in a lot but that's the end of my support

Booked a table for 20 people for my birthday on a busy Saturday and the service was excellent, really attentive and didn’t have to wait long for food at all! My fave Southsea pub for food :)

My wife and I used Sweet Cakes to provide the cake and cupcakes for our wedding last year. Throughout the whole process, Chris & Ali were very friendly & helpful. They listened to our requests and created a design which we were very happy with. We had a couple of queries along the way and they were polite whenever we needed to speak with them. Not only did the cake and cupcakes look incredible, they tasted just as good as they looked. Genuinely some of the best cake I've ever had, if not the best. Thank you to Sweet Cakes for making this part of our wedding so so easy. Amazing quality service, brilliant cake and very competitive pricing too. We'd highly recommend these guys for your wedding cake needs, and they also have brilliant cupcakes available in store.

Really friendly, bubbly start, tasty food, and unbeatable value for money

Horrible manager (assumed). Extremely rude to her staff and customers. Wouldn’t serve customers because we had different coloured ID licences (green and pink because some drive and others don’t). Very weird behaviour. We were very polite and respectful and she didn’t apologise or have any respect for us or the other bartender working. (She was lovely). Will NEVER be returning and will make sure everyone I know knows how horrible she was.

4 friends and I came to Garage Lounge yesterday for breakfast. Before we had an interaction with the staff, the customers in there all stared at us. Literally everyone..weird. My friends and I had jeans and jumpers or jackets on .. nothing out of the ordinary. We were then approached by a staff member. No smile, spoke to us very bluntly. We were told 5 minutes for a table, which is fine but the atmosphere was the put off.. maybe it was our age. 24-28. I’m not sure what was wrong but it made us feel really uncomfortable
